LG goes modular with the LG G5. #LGG5 #Modular #MWC2016

LG have finally announced the much anticipated LG G5 it is the companies first modular device, while it does not look great it even with its curved edges it looks rather boring it has potential in the long run. It comes with “Friends” or to be simple plug ins which are additional modules that can be later added to the device, not everyone’s cup of tea module devices but surely for some it will be welcome. There is a range of other companion devices to that has come to surface.- 360 CAM,360 VR,ROLLING BOT,TONE PLATINUM,SMART CONTROLLER and H3 by B&O Play. It will be interesting to see if any of our networks take this on board, having not seen the G3 or G4 it doubt it very much,LG have improved tremendously over the last two years with their handsets on offer but this one is different not for all.It is to go on sale in the UK and networks are already taking the usual register your interest approach already.

I think once customers spend a little time with the LG G5, their answer will be a resounding YES.”

Encased in a sleek all metal body design and slide-out battery to easily swap out a used battery for a fully charged one in seconds, the LG G5 surpasses the visual experience of its predecessor, the LG G4. First, the G5’s 135-degree wide angle lens lets you choose between standard or wide angle lens to get more in the shot. Second, the Always-on Display makes notifications just a glance away with the time, date and more available anytime without waking the G5. Third, the 3D Arc Glass featured in the smartphone’s 5.3-inch display creates a gentle curve and a smooth metal surface using Micro-Dizing techniques. Canon releases long-zoom SX720 HS, G7 X Mark II and prosumer DSLR 80D by @Tiwaash #Camera #Photography

Canon PowerShot SX720 HS

Canon released a bunch of cameras from the travel zoom to updated Prosumer DSLR. Starting with a new long-zoom compact dubbed the PowerShot SX720 HS. This model packs a new lens with a wider zoom range compared to its predecessor, offering a 35mm-equivalent of 24-960mm at F3.3-6.9. The sensor remains a 20.3MP 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS unit with a DIGIC 6 image processor.

In addition to the new lens, the SX720 HS has a redesigned grip, and battery life has increased to a CIPA-rated 250 shots. Boasting a 3″ LCD display with 922k dots, the camera carries over Canon’s Zoom Framing Assist system to automatically zoom in or out to follow subject movement and more accurately keep focus, and also comes with the Story Highlight feature to automatically compile images and videos from a day or event into a highlight reel with music and effects. Speaking of video, the SX720 can capture 1080/60p clips with stereo sound.

Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II

Canon also introduced the PowerShot G7 X Mark II with a new DIGIC 7 processor, bringing much-needed improvements to camera performance. Maintaining its predecessor’s 20.1MP 1″-type CMOS sensor and 24-100mm equiv. F1.8-2.8 lens, the G7 X II brings some updates to the camera’s exterior as well, with a re-designed grip, bottom-hinged 3″ 1.04M-dot LCD and a front control dial that can switch between clicking or smooth-turning operation.

G7 X II is capable of recording Full HD video as in its predecessor, along with Wi-Fi and NFC. The G7 X II provides Picture Style processing modes borrowed from the EOS DSLR line, and time-lapse movie mode is included. The new processor allows for face registration and better subject detection in scenes of low saturation or similar colors. In addition, it dramatically speeds up camera performance, with Canon claiming continuous 8 fps Raw shooting and also 25% better battery life than the original G7 X.

Canon 80D

Canon brings to the prosumer DSLR line the EOS 80D, offering a newly developed 24.2MP APS-C sensor, 45-point all cross-type autofocus module, updated Dual Pixel AF for live view still and video recording, and Wi-Fi with NFC. The 80D equipped with DIGIC 6 processor and provides a native ISO range in stills shooting from 100-16,000, expandable to 25,600. Burst shooting at up to 7 fps is on par with the 70D.

The 80D packs an approximately 100% coverage optical viewfinder and a fully articulated 3″ 1.04M-dot touchscreen LCD, as well as built-in Wi-Fi with NFC. Canon claims its new AF module, a notable improvement over the 70D’s 19-point system, is capable of focusing in low light conditions down to -3EV at the center point. Dual Pixel AF now offers continuous focus, and all pixels are able to perform phase detection focus while being used for still imaging. Video recording is offered at an improved 1080/60p.

Pricing & Availability:

The SX720 HS will be available in March 2016 with an MSRP of $379.99.
The Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II will be offered for $699 with availability in May.
The Canon EOS 80D will be available in March for $1199 body-only or $1799 bundled with an updated EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM kit lens.

Do you suffer from stress? This new idea might help from #PRANA #Stress #IndieGoGo

Ok so PRANA got in touch and asked us to share this idea of their which will certainly help most, myself included for those stressful times. So if you suffer from stress this little gadget might just be able to help, its small and not intrusive. PRANA for me sounds like a good idea and works alongside an app via your mobile via Bluetooth, this will monitor how you breathe and your posture if you are one of those people stuck at an office desk all day this is something to look into.. This idea includes passive tracking and active training which is gamified.

How does PRANA work?

Prana is the first activity tracker to combine three critical body function measures to comprehensively improve the quality of breathing for maximum stress fighting results. These measures are diaphragmatic breathing, posture, and breath patterns. Prana’s advanced algorithms uniquely integrate these measures in a clear actionable way. Our app provides both passive tracking and active training strategies to improve how we breathe. Passive tracking monitors your breathing and posture in the background, occasionally warning you to adjust your breath or body pose. Our active training provides a fully interactive gamified experience to make it easy and fun to retrain breathing for many lasting benefits. Another alternative is to try Delta 10.

Prana makes it easy to harness the power of good breathing and posture for many healthy benefits. Prana can trigger a relaxation response within two minutes of use. It is a 100% drug free stress relief device.

Prana includes:

  • An elegantly designed clip-on device worn on the waistband, featuring a stylish metallically finished case, measuring only 1.25” X ¼” for a comfortable and non-obtrusive wearable experience (black version available with stretch goal 1), Bluetooth LE connection to your smartphone
  • Wireless charging base
  • A mobile app with cutting edge patent pending algorithms seamlessly unifying diaphragmatic breathing, posture, and breath patterns
  • For both iOS & Android

Specs

  • Prana utilizes highly sensitive multi-axis accelerometers, making even the lightest breathing detectable
  • Low energy Bluetooth (BLE) connection to most smartphones  (iOS and Android)
  • Energy efficient mobile processor with flash memory
  • Switchless design
  • Rechargeable Battery life of 7 days and up
  • Qi wireless charging base
  • Vibrational element to gently inform via on-device buzz when breath or posture can be improved
  • Highly advanced new algorithms to disentangle breath from posture signals from one location on the waistband
  • Sleek and metallically finished case with clip, worn on the waist (1.25″ x 0.25″)

This seems like a simple solution to a common problem, one which I often ask myself what actually works because pills dont.
