Tech Review – Limited Edition AirLove Couple CloudCush MagicStand cases for iPhone 15 Pro

Not so long ago Casekoo had a nice limited edition Christmas phone case which we check out along with their MagicStand CloudCush cases and now with Valentines day coming up they have a range of Cases for that too which is an excellent idea and an ideal gift if you are stuck for something to pick up for your partner.

Once again these cases are excellent when it comes to protecting your iPhone and I can stand by this as I have been using them some time now and have dropped my phone many times and to this day not a mark on it.

Again we see the features which are important with the Koo Air-cushioning technology with 3D printed hearts inside the airbag on the sides and you have 3-meter military grade drop test which tested out in the Christmas phone case.

You also have tactile buttons here which work well as you will see in the video review below and not only this you can download a matching wallpaper which is cool and not something I have not seen before.

You of course have a Magsafe compatible MagicStand and this also has a note written on it and underneath and of course works with all MagSafe products.

Check out the video review for a closer look

Tech Review – Padmate S58 True Wireless Stereo Earphones

Padmate S58 OWS True Wireless Stereo Earbuds are a familiar looking earbuds and will be over the next year or more as last year we have seen a huge increase in such products from all manufacturers be it air or bone conduction styled, these are like mini speakers in your ears and still offer decent sound despite not being in your ear so to speak.

The design and look is clean and these are very comfortable and can be easily moved around to get the perfect fit, they will not fall off your ears and ideal for the sports fans out there or those who commute in general but anyone can use these..

I have tried around 20 pairs similar now and these have been one of the most comfortable to wear on be it at home or on the move and they feel secure which is important each side has its own controls to make commands on the go or take control of your calls which sounded great by the way.

The sound is no shabby either and sound great despite the lack of an app which means you have fixed controls and no EQ but overall they packed a punch decently loud and have as klight bit of bass but in general not much to complain about with the sound overall, there is a slight leakage element when maxed out but no lag latency no tinny sound either and overall pass the test for this style of earbud.

The controls work well albeit slightly sensitive but works fine every time, you may notice a play or pause command when putting on or removing but asides that the controls get it right all the time every time.

Battery life is also decent too and you can expect around 5 hours per charge and up to 15 per charge with the case this will of course vary by your volume setting and mine is mostly up to the max, there is also a handy LED display on the case to keep you informed of what juice is left.

Check the video below for more and if you are in the market for a new pair of this style of earbuds that are affordable do check them out below.

Tech Review – House of Marley Little Bird Earbuds

The House of Marley Little Bird in-ear earphones are the latest earbuds on offer from the brand and next up from the Redemption ANC we tested, they look similar but come in at two different price points and one will ask is there much of a difference between the two which of course there is but how they sound is always that important question.

The Little Bird does not have the same appealing aesthetic looking finish as the Redemption and is missing features and first up is the lack of app access, there is no wireless charging but fast charging is present here. You can expect about 23 hours in total with the case at maxed out volume which is how I listen to my earbuds for the average user with their 75% volume you will hith there 24 ht playtime which is good at this price-point and 15 mins will give you an additional two hours play if you are running low which is pretty decent, there is an indicator on the case to let you know the battery status which is done in flashes from 1- 100%  the case is stylish and small and fits into any pocket. They come with an IPX4 rating too.

They sit well in the ears and look good, I always have like the bamboo look on Marley products and these still do not look cheap, they are secure and offer some passive noise isolation when the right tips are used and fitted into the ears. They are light and do not stand out too much but the Bamboo finish does draw attention.

House of Marley Little Bird earbuds – techbuzzireland

We have our controls all present on these little guys, we have play and pause, skip and reverse tracks, volume control and call control there is no auto play or pause and you can toggle between game and movie mode which is neat.

Ok so these are powered with 10mm drivers so you would think the sound might be a tad poor, well this is not the case and they sound much better than one would expect at their price which is dam good and surprised me to be honest and the lack of an app these days is a bug bear for many but with these there is no app required with how they are tuned, they are loud, nice bass highs lows and mids and punchy with no lag latency no distortion and really deliver an excellent audio experince even for those that might be used to having several pair of earbuds, I can safely say these are great for the money.

Crafted from bamboo and recycled plastics, these eco-friendly earbuds offer 6 hours of playtime, and up to 24 hours of listening with 3 additional charges. Intuitive touch controls make music management swift and simple, and the built-in microphone ensures clear calls. Enhance your audio experience with movie and gaming modes and enjoy quick charging via USB-C. The Little Bird Earbuds bring conscious craftsmanship and superior sound together with a natural aesthetic that speaks for itself.

Features

  • Crafted with sustainable materials
  • 24-hour playtime (with case)
  • 6-hour playtime (without case)
  • Intuitive touch controls
  • Built-in microphone
  • Movie and gaming mode
  • USB-C Quick Charge

Tech Review – OpenRock S Open-Ear Air Conduction Headphones

Last September we checked out the OpenRock Pro Air conduction support headphones and now they have introduced their latest offering the OpenRock S Open-Ear Air conduction Headphones which is is all the rage now with many brands jumping on board the Air Conduction tech.

The design is familiar and will sit on the ears well and will not fall off so ideal for commuters and gym goers any sports enthusiast actually.

It can take a bit to get use to the controls once fitted, there is no tips here which is great and out of the box you are good to go, we discuss the controls below in more detail you have just about enough to stop you taking your phone out to get things done.

Controls.

You have to music modes here one being relax mode and one being Rock mode which oddly enough cannot be changed with music playing but there is a notable difference between the two, you also have other controls on board such as voice assistant obtained by tapping either side for three seconds, you can also skip and reverse tracks by holding for two seconds and answer and hang up calls, there does not seem to be a volume control option built in, you can play and pause tracks with a double tap.

The sound quality out of the box is pretty decent, there is no app access here which is disappointing and something they might work on in a future pair but overall the sound is decent it is loud crisp and clear no lag latency noted and no distortion maxed out on volume or tinny sound either testing all genres and with Rock Mode you can feel that bass kick in.

Overall if you are into sports or just want something new being air conduction technology you might want to check these out, they look clean and fit well and do an excellent job overall and sound good which is important.

  • Excellent Bass Capabilities – OpenRock S open-ear headphones adopt a new generation of TubeBass bass enhancement technology that concentrates and transmits the energy emitted by the speaker to the ear canal, achieving far-field silencing, reducing sound spillage, and allowing music to surround only the user’s ear canal. Paired with a 16.2mm dynamic driver, it provides unprecedented bass capabilities in open-ear headphones.
  • 60 Hours of Playtime – The earphone’s powerful battery can provide up to 19 hours of listening and talk time at 70% volume on a single charge, plus a 750mAh charging box that can last for 41 hours, and the OpenRock S can provide 60 hours of playback time on a single charge.
OpenRock S Open-Ear air conduction sports earbuds – techbuzzireland
  • Bluetooth 5.3 plus IPX5 Waterproof – OpenRock S wireless earbud’s latest Bluetooth 5.3 further achieves low energy consumption and high transmission rate on the basis of Bluetooth 5.2, shortening the delay time and making the headset connection smoother. It is also IPX5 sweat-proof and waterproof, allowing you to enjoy music worry-free while exercising.
  • Open-Ear Design, Adjustable Earhook – OpenRock adopts the global exclusive titanium alloy ear hooks, the shape of the ear hook can be adjusted according to the size of each person’s ear. Compared with in-ear earbuds, they fit the human ear better, disperse gravity, and are stable and comfortable to wear.
  • AI 4-Mics Call Noise-Canceling – Four high-quality microphones use beam-forming technology to form an array to assist the AI call noise reduction algorithm, achieve four-mark AI call noise reduction, and eliminate environmental noise. Even if the wind is strong around you, the other party can still hear your voice clearly.
  • Rock/Relax Dual Mode – The rock mode emphasizes low-frequency, rhythmic sports sound effects, aiming to reduce sports fatigue and activate your sports potential. The Relax mode emphasizes three-frequency natural and comfortable sound effects, aiming to help individuals relax their body and mind and reduce pressure.

Tech Review – SMANIQUE Apple Watch Ultra Alpine Loop Band – Zefiro

The SMANIQUE Apple Watch Ultra Alpine Loop Bands look familiar but come at less than half the price than what Apple command which is 99 euro which is a complete rip-off.  I have been using NAVA bands recently and again these look pretty much the same and come in slightly cheaper, between them both you will pay around 25-30 euro plus shipping and taxes for them but either way they both look and feel good and comfortable to wear.

The SMANIQUE Apple Watch Ultra Alpine Loop Band – Zefiro which we have two of are well built and design albeit a strap but you want the Apple Watch Ultra 2 to feel secure on your wrist as it is an expensive item to be wearing and costly if you loose it.

The straps offer good breathing space and made with a double layer nylon and the closure is 316L stainless steel. There is a variety of colours available too which is also nice and not limited, NAVA bands are limited on choice for the Watch Ultra 2 with strap colours.

Tech Review – Tronsmart T7 Lite waterproof bluetooth speaker

The Tronsmart T7 Lite waterproof bluetooth speaker is the latest on offer from the company at an affordable price and toned down somewhat from the Tronsmart T7 we reviewed some time ago but all is still good here when it comes to sound from this portable speaker.

The design is slightly different but we have still got RGB lights and this speaker is also lighter than before still with all the buttons up front and a lanyard to hang from wherever suits you best and can be used outdoors of course with the IPX7 rating. The housing is solid too and the overall build quality is robust with a nice finish and look.

You have an array of buttons up front all raised and easy to use and you can use their app too which is great at this price point the app screenshots below show you what to expect as well as our full video review below..

Given its size it packs a punch with the audio that comes from it, you can connect your device or insert an SD card and let it play all day long with a 24HR battery life, the speakers are decently loud with no tinny sound or distortion when put up to the max as you should, it will fill a decent sized room given its size and with the RGB light effects you can impress your guests at a party or out at the beach or poolside.

With Dual pairing you can pair more than one and get double the effects if you wish to do so and with the App control you can get the sound desired and customise to your own requirements which again is great to see app access at this price on a bluetooth speaker.

Overall this is a well priced speaker with plenty of features not seen at this price with the quality to match, check out the video review below for more and see what you can expect.

Tech Review – Final VR2000 gaming earphones with immersive gaming and 3D audio experience

The Final VR2000 gaming earphones are more tailored for those into the gaming world and want that bit more when it comes to the audio experience as it is important in certain games and gives you an immersive experince which for me can be vital and enhances the gameplay overall.

With the VR2000 which for me is an oddly shaped earbud but fits well gives you this with simplicity and just an in-line mic with remote to control volume and so on,depending on your source be it a console of mobile phone this is handy for use, I have tried on mobile laptop PS 5 and X-Box and it worked well on all. If you fancy a bit of VR well then these earphones also enhance the game even more and hopefully the VR offerings out there ramp up again as it has died off and me being a huge fan of VR these earphones will certainly be welcome to have as an extra.

As the company states,

Whether playing a first-person shooter, exploring virtual worlds, relaxing to mediative ASMR or listening to a live jazz recording – the VR2000 will transport you into the heart of the action and deliver an experience like never before with no sound going unheard. Hear distant footsteps and gunfire as though you were in battle yourself. Feel every reaction from a stadium full of thousands of spectators. Transport yourself to a 1970’s jazz club and hear every note played as though you were there.

As a simple plug in with nothing else to do it is hard to fathom how good earphones have got at this level with hearing sounds you may have missed before as stated above to give you more clarity better audio and a real immersive experience you should give these a go and even for general music they do a great job to so it is a win if you fancy a clean crisp and clear immersive experience not costing you a fortune either. The inline remote works a treat too and is simple to use for any gamer or user.
