Virgin Media’s Drive-In Series returns with blockbusters. #VirginMedia #Movies

Virgin Media are hitting the road again this summer with our Drive-In Movie Series. The roadshow will bring music blockbusters Mamma Mia and Bohemian Rhapsody to towns across the country to celebrate the arrival of Ireland’s fastest and most reliable broadband network. This forms part of Virgin Media’s Project Lightning network expansion programme, the single biggest private investment in Ireland and the UK’s digital infrastructure in more than a decade.

Kicking off on August 10th, Virgin Media are bringing our Drive-In Movie Series to Ennis, Dundalk, Wexford, Dungarvan and Dublin. Cinema-goers will be able to watch fan favourites Mamma Mia and Bohemian Rhapsody on Europe’s largest mobile LED screen and have the sound broadcast directly to their car over FM radio.

There will be two screenings in each town and tickets can be booked online at virginmedia.ie/movies. Mamma Mia is the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA and well known faces throughout the movie.  Meanwhile Bohemian Rhapsody is the story of the legendary rock band Queen and lead singer Freddie Mercury, leading up to their famous performance at Live Aid (1985).

At the official launch, ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’ presenter extraordinaire and ‘Living with Lucy’ host, Lucy Kennedy said: “Last year Virgin Media’s Drive-in Movies roadshow was such a huge success it’s was a no brainer to bring it back this Summer. I’m a big fan of both films so can’t wait to see them in this unique way…all guests need to do is bring their car and Virgin Media will provide the popcorn! I pity the cars beside mine as I don’t think I am going to be able to stop myself from singing along!!”

Review – The Groov-e SoundBuds true wireless earbuds. #TrueWireless #Earbuds

Groov-e are a brand that offer great tech products at affordable prices and from testing many out over the years I can stand by them and easily recommend if you are not in a position to shell out for more expensive brands which in some cases lack what cheaper products offer.

The Groov-e soundbuds are no different here and are an easy alternative to iPods coming in less than half price and don’t look stupid in your ears too. The soundbuds also come in a charge case which has a real LED battery indicator which is really cool and something I have not seen personally yet given the amount of true wireless earbuds I have tested and own personally and is a much better indicator to the typical 3/4/5 LED set up we see on most today which does not give you an exact indication as to whats left although some do give a level on your smartphone but that varies.

The Groov-e soundbuds are easy to set up and its the usual manner and you also get audio cues to let you know your connected on both sides and whats even more interesting here after testing you can use these individually ie left or right on their own even after popping them in your ears you can take either side out and the opposite side will stay connected in many instances in other earbuds you can have only one side work or if you plug one side out both turn off this is not the case here, Also if you do decide to remove on side and pop it back into your ear it will auto connect once powered on which is great.

Comfort level here is great and you will forget they are there after a while, they are very light and also they will not drop out of ear they give a pretty good seal too isolating a good bit of outside noise which is good, they are kind of similar to last years play buds in size but sound better in my option.

Sound quality is great given the price and they are plenty aloud hitting all sound stages and genres, bass ,treble, mids, highs and lows quite well and no distortion on max volume which is how I like it,many at this level get tinny and distorted at max volume but this is not the case with these and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they sound for their price point. No sync Latency watching videos or Netflix present either.

Call quality is also good and something new here I have not seen is they call out the phone number now if this is a new thing or update or something I have missed excuse me but I use many earbuds and this is the first time I have heard this happen yet its cool only if it called out the name that’s stored on your device would be a real bonus.

Using the earbuds is like any other the its the usual tap once, twice set up and each side and you also have your voice assistant available too (press for one second) which is handy for those who use them which is something I don’t use a whole lot to be honest. Play and pause is tap once, next track you double click the right and double click the left to reverse, volume up quickly press the right and left for volume down.

Battery life is not bad but on the low end of things but for the price you cant really complain you will easily get the manufacturers claim time of 4 hours on one charge.

My only real dislikes are is No EQ app,Micro USB and one colour selection but hopefully that will change in their next offering or new colours arrive later in their current guise, other than that for 65 quid they are worth it.

5 Video Editors that Help You Edit Videos in a Short Time. #Video #Editing #Brands

Those people who manage the social networks of commercial brands are used to create different types of content, from images to videos. That is why they often need tools that allow them to manage these quickly.

In the case of videos, there are super powerful applications such as Adobe After Effects, which besides being paid, requires some advanced skills to be able to handle it. What few know is that there are excellent alternatives that would not require a download, a registration, and much less a payment to be able to use them.

Now it’s easier than ever to edit video from your computer. More and more intuitive programs make it possible for you to make your videos in a short time. The following are applications or websites with which you can edit your videos easily and in the best style of professional software.

Online Video Cutter

This is a website that gathers several of the basic and necessary functions to edit a video. On this page, you can upload a video from your computer and proceed to cut or rotate it to create a shorter video and convert the format.

Editing a video in Online Video Cutter does not require any kind of payment. Privacy is one of its strengths since the file uploaded and edited will disappear from its servers after a few hours.

FlexClip

This tool allows you to make animated videos, perfect for product demos, service explanations, moving infographics, or training. The web offers many different and free templates that allow you to modify some colors, images, texts, and positions of the elements with your own customized style. In addition to what the templates offer, you can insert logos, music, and voiceovers.

FlexClip is free and will not leave a watermark imprinted on the downloaded videos in high quality.

Cameo

This free tool for IOS allows you to record and create videos from the smartphone through a multitude of templates that can incorporate filters and really great textures. The culmination comes when you incorporate sound since it has a list of inspirational music that completes the experience.

The maximum duration of a video is 2 minutes, but some brands have already shown that it is more than enough time to do cool things.

Videodilicious

With this tool, you will create videos in the style of a television piece by simply touching the screen of the smartphone with your finger. You can also add signs and music.

It will be useful to explain processes of product development, show events or work within the office. Of course, you should use these videos depending on the tone or purpose of your communication.

If you want to edit a video, but do not know where to do it? Choose the one indicated in this article for you. The options we present are compatible with different operating systems and respond to different levels of experience.

First look at the Polaroid OneStep 2 i-Type instant camera . #Polaroid #OneStep2 #Camera #Photography

Recently I checked out the instax mini li play and it was my first real camera but what’s different here that is an instant camera and the same as the Polaroid One Step 2 camera which has a different shape and size and gives you a similar result. What has been great with the Instax was actually holding a photograph again like most of us did many years ago only with the Polaroid this gives you bigger images on the fly.

We will be testing this out over the coming weeks and if you have any questions feel free to ask as always and check out the unboxing below..

You can pick this up at a really great price from Menkind.

This camera does exactly what you’d expect from a Polaroid. It takes perfectly imperfect, untouched, real photos that you can actually hold. (Did we mention they’re real?). But, unlike the Polaroids from the ‘70s, this camera has updates that make it perfect for today’s digital age!

For starters, this camera has a built-in 1100mAh battery that recharges via USB (cable included), so there’s no need to rely on the film having a battery attached. This also keeps the film cheaper and means that you can use the camera for up to 60 days on one charge!

In addition to the battery, this camera has updated lenses of polycarbonate and acrylic which give you a focal length of between 2 feet and, well, infinity, making the OneStep perfect for everything from selfies to landscapes! Plus, with a built-in strobe flash, you can keep shooting well after the sun goes down!
