There isn’t a soul on earth who doesn’t love days off. You might be a stay-at-home mum whose kids are staying with their grandparents for a few days, or a hardworking office employee who’s taking a week-long vacation – honestly, it doesn’t matter. This list of entertaining activities to try on your days off is for everyone!
Online casino games
Want to start your day off with a bang? Then check out the different online casino USA. Once you sign up for one, your life will change for the better! You’ll even be able to play games like poker through your smartphone whilst out on the move – talk about living in luxury. Also, remember to look out for free bonuses.
DIY projects
DIY, although sometimes tiring, is extremely entertaining. You can tackle any DIY project you feel like, such as building your own garden shed, or putting some nice wooden shelves up on your living room wall. Just remember to follow safety precautions. DIY can be dangerous, especially when there’s tools involved, so you should always prioritize your own safety and the safety of those around you.
Visit family members
The past couple of years have taught the entire world an important lesson: family is everything.
Therefore, you shouldn’t take your family for granted. Even if your parents or siblings live in an entirely different city to you, use one of your days off to head over and visit them. It will put a smile on their faces and show that you care.
Online courses
Nowadays, digital learning is more than just a trend – it’s changing people’s lives. Online, you can search for courses to help better your skills and knowledge in certain departments. Let’s say that you’re a primary school teacher. You might spend a lot of time wishing you could improve your teaching outlook and skills, but don’t know how to. Well, Google is home to plenty of helpful courses that allow teachers to improve their practices.
Be lazy… stay in bed all day!
Staying in bed all day is more fun than it has any right to be. You can binge-watch Netflix, FaceTime with friends, order a takeaway – you name it, you can do it. However, don’t waste all your days off by lounging around in your bed: productivity is still important.
Go on a date
If you’re single and are looking for a new partner, download Tinder and arrange a date (or two!) for your next day off. If you aren’t sure what to wear, go on a shopping spree with one of your friends so that they can help you choose an impressive outfit.
Complete any tasks you need to do
Most people have a list of tasks they need to do but can never find the time for. Well, guess what? Days off are the perfect time to do them. Plus, you can make completing tasks more fun, such as by wearing earphones and listening to music whilst you do them. You could even customize your own music playlists to make completing your tasks that little bit easier.
In the last 18 months, the world has been turned upside down by the coronavirus pandemic. Although some normality has resumed and lockdowns have been lifted, our habits have altered significantly.
A specific example of this is a change in consumer behaviour, with many individuals continuing to shop online, even after physical retail reopened its doors to the public. As a result, companies have adapted their strategies to cater for the increased demand for online shopping.
In 2021, the eCommerce sector is expected to boom, with traffic estimated to increase by 400 million users. If you’re considering investing in the stock market, this might have prompted you to consider buying eCommerce stocks. So, in this article, we’ll explore whether they are deemed to be a worthy investment.
The effect of COVID-19 on the industry
The government’s enforcement of lockdowns throughout 2020, and in the early months of 2021, saw non-essential shops close their doors to the public. As a result, many of these businesses created their own online shops, since government grants were an insufficient source of income.
Consumers were subsequently forced to turn to eCommerce platforms to find their favourite brands or buy any non-essential items. This saw the flow of online traffic and purchases increase, and the market’s revenues soared to $2.43 trillion in 2020 — a 25% increase on the previous year.
Although we weren’t able to go anywhere when lockdowns were put in place, it would appear that the world remained concerned about staying up-to-date with the latest trends. The fashion industry is the biggest contributor to the eCommerce industry, and it is estimated that the sector will yield $759.5 billion in revenue by the end of 2021.
A change in shopping behaviours
According to a survey conducted by MiQ, 50% of consumers in the UK plan to continue to shop online for clothing and accessories now that shops have reopened. 37% say that they will purchase beauty products online, and 35% believe that they will also turn to eCommerce shops to buy their electronics and entertainment. More people are avoiding shopping in store, to steer clear of catching coronavirus, but also because they have enjoyed the convenience of online retail and the selection that it affords them.
This has caused companies to recognise the importance of enhancing their online consumer experience to provide for the increased demand. What’s more, many small businesses have set up online shopping platforms, moving firmly into this savvy online-shopping age.
As a trader, you could take advantage of this behavioural shift by investing in the shares of an eCommerce platform that is performing well right now and here’s an example for you:
Shopify Inc. (NYSE: SHOP)
Shopify is a bit of a newcomer in the eCommerce world, but like many new businesses, has thrived during the pandemic. The company is a Canadian-based platform that allows small businesses to list their products online. Shopify has only been trading for the last 10 years, but has amounted to 1.75 million sellers. If you’re looking to invest in a company that still has significant growing room, Shopify could be the stock for you.
In 2020, the company experienced record highs, growing by 116%, with revenue from subscriptions increasing by 41%. In February 2021, the company recorded a revenue of $977.7 million and in response to the increased demand for their services, the brand has been adding some exciting features to its platform. These have improved shipping speed and accuracy, and allowed the store to become more customer centric, introducing a mobile shopping assistant to help customers and sellers on their journey.
If you decide that eCommerce stocks like Shopify are a worthy investment for you, you could use contracts for difference (CFD), with an online CFD trading platform, to invest in eCommerce stock and speculate on price movements in the market without owning the underlying asset.
If you’re considering investing in eCommerce stock, then now could be the optimum time. The sector has boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to grow in 2021, as more individuals choose to do their shopping online.
Of course, the stock market is volatile and prices can fluctuate dramatically in a short space of time, so make sure to do your research and conduct fundamental analysis, to minimise the risk of making losses.
Having tested many of Tronsmarts products they never seem to disappoint and for gamers these earbuds should be something on your radar and of course they are affordable but the question is do they work and are they worth the money, for gamers they like a certain set of parameters for the audio experience and there is other brands out there that are known to gamers for that particular sound the gamer likes but for your money here in short these do a fine job.
Build quality
There are really cool earbuds with a glossy finish which is fine and have a small stem and akin to Airpods in design, I prefer this type of approach and the quality seems good, they are durable and look solid but time will tell on this but for me they should last just as long as any other earbud, they come in a really cool charge case that is transparent and I really like this effect and it is nice to see a different approach to the case which makes them look really nice overall.
Fit
Fit here is fine and they are comfortable, there is a stem but this is fine, some folk do not like stems but for me I do not really mind at all and they are comfortable even for long term use ie many hours of gaming and music.
Controls
There is no app here which might change as the company does have an app with a selection of their earbuds on it, to change your options you just tap the upper side and they worked really well here with every tap and that for me is a great feature as some earbuds do not respond to every command, you have all the features required and the same applies to use these for music, I tested these in both gaming and music and worked well.
tronsmart battle techbuzzireland
Sound
These sound great i have to say and ideal for both gaming and music and anything else you would use earbuds for they are crisp and clear and sharp delivering great direction and gives you a level of immersion when gaming you will not be disappointed here with these and they perform really well for the price you pay which is an added bonus. You can triple tap to change between gaming mode and music mode and the job is done.
The Tronsmart Battle Gaming Earbuds has Bluetooth 5.0 with AVRCP, A2DP, HFP codecs. It supports voice commands and IPX5 certification for water and dust resistance. The battery life will be about 20 hours and this does vary to volume levels and so on. Skip track, reverse track and volume controls are all present here.
Tronsmart sent these for us to review with no compensation or input and are seeing the review the same time as you, Click here to see the video review.
Otterbox have kindly sent us a huge range of cases and accessories to check out and today we check out the line up for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 which is one of my current daily drivers right now and up to now it was a love hate relationship and getting use to the new form factor, also worth noting I had a cheap case on it for it until more arrived and we do have more to come and the case I have decided to use it making the user experience a lot better for several reasons. Otterbox is also a brand I have been using for years myself and one brand I turn to when I get a new device and typically one case would last me the lifetime of my phone, in fact I still have the same case from the iPhone 12.
There is two case types available for the Flip 3 now and one of them is the Thin Flex Series which for now comes in Pink and Black and are really nice and also a really secure fit on your device giving it the protection you need, being an expensive phone you are better off casing up as it will not be a cheap fix regardless.
Thin Flex Series Cases
Preserve your phone and all of its advanced features with the latest innovative case from OtterBox. The precision design of Thin Flex Series packs proven protection into a slim form that highlights your phone while keeping it safe. Two pieces work together to protect your phone against drops and scrapes when closed. And all phone features and functions work seamlessly. With Thin Flex Series, you can count on legendary OtterBox protection.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 Symmetry Series Flex Case
Precise and proven, Symmetry Series Flex is the innovative Galaxy Z Flip case that provides protection for your cutting-edge foldable phone. The slim design has two pieces that, when closed, work in concert to guard against drops and scrapes — all while ensuring features and functions perform flawlessly. This case offers a bit more protection with your keys than the Thin Flex and is transparent allowing you to see the natural colour of your device and gives you extra grip too which is great and this is the one of choice for me.
Features
Sleek, two-piece case
Precision design keeps case attached securely
Made with 90% recycled plastic
Lasting antimicrobial technology helps protect case exterior against many common bacteria*
DROP+ | military standard (MIL-STD-810G 516.6)
All phone features function as expected
Case is easy to install and remove • Hassle-free customer service

We also know that people are social and like to see each other and often collaborate better in person – Platform X delivers this flexibility for our clients and for our people.”
Swing traders buy stocks for a couple of days before selling them for profits when the price has increased. This is the aim in the end. If this is something you’re interested in, the best way to get started is to quickly pick the most appropriate stocks to invest in the beginning. Consider first the large-cap stocks since they have a lot of shares that change in the blink of an eye which makes them simple to purchase and sell fast.
In the same way, liquidity is an important element to look at when looking for potential swing trading candidates.
How to Choose Swing Stocks
Then, look for stocks that are relatively stable and don’t have extreme fluctuation. Don’t look for huge moves. Look to buy stocks with a trend that is either way and with constant price actions and with no excitement. It is your goal to earn a living instead of making a profit.
Three stocks were chosen for the reasons of their liquidity and their steady price movement. Begin following these stocks and making small trades on paper. After that, you can move on to real-time trades using real dollars. Train yourself to be aware of the indications that indicate what time to purchase and the best time to sell, but first, learn how to buy shares and remember that market conditions change frequently and the strategy that worked in the past might not always yield profits in the future.
Microsoft Corp.
You can also trade Microsoft ( MSFT) shares in the same way you trade Facebook. It is true that the 50-day moving average acts as a rough guideline to the low trendline, but not quite as well as Facebook’s. The upper trendline is somewhat ragged, and this is an excellent opportunity to discover the sense of the times when the stock will be able to increase and decrease.
But, the stock is trending consistently enough to be able to be sure to remain in the same pattern for a while, and you can learn to set your sell and buy points frequently. Draw a line along the highs to find the approximate amount you need to sell. Keep in mind that the longer the trendline the more likely the likelihood that the line is correct. Around 24 million shares were sold and bought every day until April 2020.
Facebook
Facebook ( FB) is a fantastic option for those who want to learn to invest in trends. If you take a look at the graph of the stock it is evident that when the stock rises up, the low points in the pattern are all aligned. It is possible to sketch an approximate line between the lowest points. This can be the lowest trend line. Each time the stock crosses that line, it moves up and up.
The reason this stock is beneficial, to begin with, is the fact that the top trend line has been pre-drawn for you. Be sure to show the 50-day moving mean. This is the lowest trend line of this stock at the present date.
Similar to drawing the trend line along with the highest points the stock reaches. When Facebook gets to that higher trend line, it’s likely to fall back to its lowest trend line. Be aware that these lines are not exact. It is important to learn the ability to recognize when the price of the stock is set to change, and not depend on a strict adhesion to the line you’ve drawn.
Around 16.3 million shares were traded every day in April 2020. This means it’s simple to locate both buyers and sellers.2 This signifies that the stocks are liquid, and you’re likely to not be trapped should they begin to decline.
Apple Inc.
The shares from Apple Inc. ( AAPL) require more care than MSFT and Facebook. The stock is rising and is a good opportunity to learn how to make money by trading the news. Apple has a variety of product announcements and launches that affect the value of the stock. Be on the lookout for these announcements and observe how the stock reacts. This is an added factor to your trading swing. You can observe the technological indicators on the charts and then combine the data together with the basics of the firm to assist you in timing your trades. More than 24 million shares are sold and bought every day, until April 2020.4
Final Words
For those who are looking to start your swing trading journey, it’s simpler for yourself by selecting stocks that are consistent in displaying well-established charts. Most commonly, large-cap stocks with adequate liquidity, such as MSFT, FB, and AAPL are great locations to begin. Then, you can begin making forecasts about the peak and valleys of the charts and you may soon be in the flow of swing trading.
The FairPhone 4 has just landed and it is our first time to check out such a device, Being modular makes life easy for everyone on and the right to repair has been spoken about much of late and this company allows you to just do that should things go wrong and I like the idea I have to say having held such a device in my hand for the first time.

Fancy a new bluetooth speaker that has an IPX7 rating which means you can take it to the beach and more well this one should be on your radar from Tronsmart with their new Splash 1. With Bluetooth 5.0 that offers a stable connection and also quite cool is the lighting effects on it. With a solid built too this is quite robust and will last and also can take a beating if dropped.
Unlike the Studio wireless recently reviewed here this is made with plastic all round with a fabric coating on top akin to a larger google home mini design it feels robust in the had and built to last with a lanyard to strap to your wrist or around your neck or whatever suits which makes it very portable.
Controls are very simple here and placed on top with raised rubber keys and easy to perform the task at hand, you can skip and reverse tracks, play and pause music too and also take calls on the fly with this speaker which makes for a clear conversation. There is no app support here like you would find in some of their products but overall the sound is quite good with a nice touch of bass thrown in and all other aspects of the audio quality is quite good and well balanced so you will not be disappointed.

Fairphone 4 offers an unprecedented five-year warranty, is a unique electronic waste-neutral handset and contains fairly sourced materials, challenging the electronics industry to take a more responsible approach.
Dutch social enterprise Fairphone is proud to announce the launch of its latest device, Fairphone 4 5G, demonstrating that it is possible to place sustainability at the heart of the latest consumer technology. With today’s launch, Fairphone introduces the world’s first modular 5G smartphone that is also a more sustainable, repairable and socially responsible device. The smartphone is the next phase in the company’s journey to develop fair, long-lasting, high-quality devices and establish a market for ethical and fair electronics.
With the launch of Fairphone 4, the company is applying the lessons it has learnt from previous phones to a device with 5G support and new features that provide additional benefits for users. The smartphone is the sustainable choice for customers who don’t want to compromise on the latest technology. Fairphone is raising the bar for itself and the industry by introducing a five-year warranty at no additional cost, to encourage people to use — and enjoy — their phones for longer. This is an unrivalled commitment in the electronics sector and is an addition to Fairphone guaranteeing long-term availability of spare parts, combined with software support. For Fairphone 4, software support is guaranteed until the end of 2025 and includes upgrades to Android 12 and Android 13, but the company aims to extend it even further, until the end of 2027, with upgrades to Android 14 and Android 15 despite support from the chipset supplier expiring. With this unparalleled ambition, Fairphone is aiming to repeat what it succeeded in doing with a previous model: six years of software support from the launch of an Android device.
Eva Gouwens, CEO of Fairphone, outlines the company’s goals for Fairphone 4, stating:
“We’re taking a completely different approach to manufacturing smartphones — we’re changing the way devices are made and used. We want to challenge the traditional way of designing devices, including the notion that thinner is better. The starting point in development was to produce a premium sustainable smartphone that is future-proof, easily repairable, designed to last and therefore more circular and fair. We want Fairphone 4 to be a device that people enjoy keeping for longer and that sets them apart from the crowd. Our customers are people who make independent choices to create positive change, and they choose Fairphone to accelerate that change.”
Alistair Wilson, Director of Partnerships and Devices, EE:“Partnering with leading sustainable manufacturer Fairphone to bring Fairphone 4 5G to our award-winning 5G network, is another part of our commitment to help provide customers with sustainable choices. This includes helping them to make the most of their existing smartphones with annual device MOT’s and same day repair services. The whole EE business, from our mobile network to our 575+ high street stores is powered using 100% renewable electricity, and we have a target to become a net-zero emissions business by 2030 for our own operations”.
Fairphone’s holistic approach to sustainability is what truly sets it apart, making the Fairphone 4 a leading sustainable device on the market. Unlike other industry players, Fairphone focuses not only on its environmental impact but also on its social impact on the electronics supply chain, working towards systemic change. Sustainability and longevity are at the heart of everything Fairphone does, and with every new phone it launches, it sets an example for the smartphone industry.
Fairphone 4 is the first electronic waste neutral handset released. The company will compensate users’ phones and spare parts by responsibly recycling one phone (or an equal amount of small electronic waste) for every Fairphone 4 sold. Alternatively, Fairphone will take back and refurbish at least one other phone to prevent the production of a new one. The phones used for this programme are sourced from Fairphone’s European take-back efforts or from countries without formal recycling infrastructure, and are brought to Europe for environmentally sound recycling.
Fairphone has expanded its list of fair materials, adding six new ones, and is now focusing on 14 key materials from sustainable and fairer sources. For Fairphone 4 they include; Fairtrade-certified gold, aluminiumfrom Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard certified vendors, fair tungsten from Rwanda as well as recycled tin, rare earth minerals and plastics. Fairphone is the first smartphone brand to have a back cover made of 100% post consumer recycled polycarbonate. Fair sourcing means engaging and tackling issues in supply chains, such as child labour and unsafe working conditions, while driving opportunities for positive impact. For miners and workers, this means fair working conditions, such as a safe and healthy working environment, and access to personal protective equipment. Fair sourcing also empowers communities to thrive and protects the environment. Fairphone has made significant progress on this front; about 56% of its original eight focus materials have been fairly sourced in 2020, up from 25% in 2018 and 32% in 2019.
Fairphone developed its innovative living wage programme and aims to expand partnerships with strategic suppliers to improve working conditions for their employees. In 2020, 10,717 people benefited from Fairphone’s social, environmental or economic interventions in mines and factories, almost twice as many as in 2018, when those benefiting totalled 5,296. For example, in 2020, Chinese factory workers for Fairphone’s production supplier received a living wage bonus that was the equivalent of up to more than four months extra salary, to fill the gap between the Chinese minimum wage and living wage.
Important scores and third-party certifications also prove Fairphone 4’s sustainability claims. Fairphone 4 is the first smartphone certified according to TCO Certified, a third-party sustainability certification for IT products. The 6GB/128GB internal storage variant has also received an 85/100 Eco Rating score, a labelling scheme initiated by five leading European mobile operators which evaluates the environmental impact of the entire process of production, transportation, use and disposal of mobile phones. And in France, Fairphone 4 has received 9.3 for its 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage variant for the French Repairability Index. The index aims to encourage consumers to choose more repairable products and manufacturers to improve the repairability of their products. In addition, Fairphone is now an official member of the Right to Repair campaign.
Since its launch in 2013, Fairphone has been working to transform the electronics sector into an industry that cares for people and planet. The industry faces a growing stream of electronic waste caused by the 1.4 billion mobile phones sold each year. The average phone has a short lifespan of 2-3 years. In addition, only 15% of discarded phones are collected for recycling. The short-sighted attitude affects every part of the industry and supply chain. In addition, making smartphones requires natural resources and these minerals are limited. Mining these materials can have a negative environmental impact. Extracting the necessary materials for a smartphone can also have serious social consequences, as it could be associated with child labour or dangerous working conditions. By establishing a market for ethical electronics, Fairphone is prompting the electronics industry to act more responsibly.
With each generation of its mobile phones, Fairphone has introduced the industry to its latest concept of fairness. Fairphone 1 marked the company’s debut in the industry as a force for change— the first smartphone company attempting to create an ecosystem for easy repairability by offering all spare parts on its online store. Fairphone 2 was the first modular phone on the market, a revolutionary concept to increase repairability and longevity. With Fairphone 3, the company widened its reach and proved to the industry that sustainability is a viable business model.
Fairphone 4 offers a step up in tech specifications. Users have a choice of 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, allowing the phone to handle the most complex tasks with ease. Running on Android 11, Fairphone 4 features a fast, powerful and reliable Qualcomm chipset with future-proof 5G, to support the company’s principle of longevity. It boasts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with Pixelworks technology for a smooth and immersive user experience. The display is made from Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for great durability and resistance to drops and scratches. Its 3,905 mAh battery is replaceable and can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes (with minimum 20W charger). Designed with Swedish design agency Above, Fairphone 4 is distinctive yet stylish and sleek, sporting a tactile back cover and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device features the company’s highest-quality camera to date, designed to let users focus on what matters most: image quality and true-to-life colours in every frame and every setting. The camera comes with a pair of premium lenses — a 48MP main camera for all the details and a 48MP ultrawide camera for the bigger picture — and to top it off, a 25MP selfie camera. It has fast autofocus with laser accuracy and advanced image stabilization for smooth video recording. The camera software makes for an intuitive, effortless experience.
Fairphone is also expanding its portfolio beyond smartphones. Along with other accessories and spare parts, Fairphone is launching true wireless earbuds from a licensed design, made with 30% recycled plastics and with Fairtrade Gold integrated into its supply chain, another first in Fairphone’s growing portfolio. It’s Fairphone’s first step in the journey to increase the level of sustainability in the audio segment.
Gouwens concludes: “We’re raising the bar for ourselves and the industry, showing that doing things more sustainably makes good business sense. Fairphone 4 is a unique product: the first ever electronic waste neutral device and with a five-year warranty. It shows the industry a different way of encouraging longevity and fairness while going way beyond the accepted standards.Fairphone 4 will be our biggest phone release to date, as interest in sustainable devices continues to grow, reflected in the hundreds of thousands of devices we’ve sold with each new phone. With Fairphone 4, we took what we’ve done in the past and packaged it into a future-proof product that takes the challenge for the entire industry to the next level.”
Fairphone 4 will be available for pre-order on 30 September from Fairphone’s website and selected partners, at a suggested retail price of €579 or €649. The two variants of the device will be released on 25 October and will be available in Europe from a wide distribution network of (online) retailers and operators.
