H2O Audio, a global leader in waterproof and high-performance sport headphones, has launched the TRI ULTRA and TRI ULTRA PRO, the most rugged bone conduction headphones in the world. Developed with feedback from athletes and customers pursuing longer rides, runs and endurance events, the new lineup delivers up to 24 hours of battery life — the longest of any bone conduction headset — along with enhanced durability and simplified controls. Both models launch in limited quantities at H2OAudio.com and with availability on Amazon and Best Buy expected in early November.
The TRI ULTRA lineup includes two models:
- TRI ULTRA ($199): Available in Ocean Blue and Summit White, featuring extended battery life, improved controls and onboard memory for phone-free listening. • TRI ULTRA PRO ($249): Available in Black, adding H2O Audio’s Playlist+ technology and mobile app functionality for iPhone and Android users.
Built for athletes who measure their efforts in hours rather than minutes, the TRI ULTRA series represents H2O Audio’s continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance audio. From long-distance training and ultramarathons to cycling, swimming and multisport competition, the headphones bring the motivation of music to environments where traditional audio devices fall short.
“Ultra-endurance athletes are constantly pushing their limits, and their gear needs to keep up,” said Kristian Rauhala, H2O Audio founder and CEO. “We set out to create the most rugged bone conduction headphones in the world, with battery life to match even the longest endurance efforts. TRI ULTRA reflects what we’ve heard from athletes and customers who want to go further, whether that’s a longer ride, an ultramarathon or an all-day adventure. It’s the latest example of our commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance audio.”
Built to Outlast the Longest Efforts
At the heart of TRI ULTRA is an extended battery life of up to 24 hours (depending on use and volume level), giving athletes more time to train, explore and compete without stopping to recharge. H2O Audio also optimized the headset’s clamping force for comfort during prolonged wear, balancing a secure fit with the demands of extended endurance activity.
The new lineup introduces a dedicated Mode button that makes switching between Bluetooth and onboard memory playback easier than ever. Where previous models required a double-click of the Play/Pause button, TRI ULTRA offers simple, one-touch switching, eliminating an extra step when transitioning between listening modes.
The headphones retain H2O Audio’s proprietary dual-magnet bone conduction drivers and custom software, delivering the brand’s signature sound alongside its Beyond Waterproof technology. With 8GB of onboard memory, athletes can bring their music into the water or onto the trail without relying on a phone.
H2O Audio also makes loading music and podcasts easier through its free H2O SYNC desktop app. Compatible with H2O Audio headphones that feature onboard memory, the app lets users transfer music and podcasts they own from a computer with a simple one-click process.
TRI ULTRA builds on H2O Audio’s award-winning TRI 2 series, recognized by leading technology and endurance publications and trusted by world-class professional athletes.
With the TRI ULTRA series, H2O Audio continues to push the boundaries of performance audio, bringing the power of music to athletes wherever their pursuits take them – below, above and beyond.
