The HAYLOU Watch Hyper is their latest wearable market: bringing features usually kept for flagship multi-sport watches like dual-band GPS, offline maps and bluetooth calls, and a more affordable price for those who want more and with most tech today the cost to performance ratio has come to such watches which is great news.
After recently testing the HAYLOU Solar Lite 2 it was perfect to run them side by side yes it does use the same app and software so keeping track of things was simple here and it is on par with the previous watch and in fact other watches and bands I am testing alongside it. The HAYLOU Watch Hyper unboxing is here if you missed it.
It is not a full medical grade type watch for your vitals but does the job and again on par with more expensive watches I use and fitness bands and for me over the last while it kept in line here and fairly accurate overall with minor difference between steps and so on which is expected from smart watches they always differ to some degree.
The display is clear and easy to read outdoors it is crisp and you can change the way you view it in the settings be it a lost grid or carousel like other watches, it does not have rich notfications but works well and has a scroll effect when you get a message so you can still read the complete message and you can reply to whats app messages only which is odd. It also has an AOD which still does not drain battery fast. It also supports voice to text and quick replies on Android only I tested on both iOS and Android.
You have a decent ringer on it and the speaker is decent too for Bluetooth calls which you can see in the full video review below, it has offline maps which is handy and backtracking showing you where you have been which is a handy feature and of course this also packed with many sports modes and something for everyone. You can also control your music and use the watch as a mobile camera shutter too which is handy for people.

The app is simple to use and follow and familiar so for those who use this will have no issue setting up and navigating the menu structure here, the battery life is fantastic given I push everything to the watch and easily two weeks here for me taking into account I do not wear it to bed like any tech it is just annoying.
Overall this is a well balanced watch with a great price and gives more than most for the price you pay and again shows there is no need to be spending silly money or remain a brand loyalist with tech today even if you are a brand loyalist or wearing such for status.
