Introducing Anker MindBase, an AI-Powered Home Hub Built for the Autonomous Home, at #IFA2026 techbuzzireland.com

Anker Innovations, today announced the  unveiling of Anker MindBase™, a local AI home hub built for the autonomous home. It  functions as the central brain for the home, bringing together three core capabilities — whole home connectivity, local intelligence and memory — all in a single system. MindBase connects  the company’s security, energy, cleaning and audio ecosystems into a locally run home  intelligence network, keeping data local and private. As the first real-life application, the Anker  MindBase™ Security Kit ushers in a new era of proactive home security. The announcement  was made at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany.

“We believe the autonomous home needs three things: connection, local intelligence and  memory that stays in the home under the family’s control. MindBase brings those together in  one system and gives the home a true brain of its own that can understand what is happening  across the home, make decisions locally, and coordinate the devices inside it,” said Steven  Yang, CEO of Anker Innovations.

Connect with Anker EasyOmni™ Link

Anker EasyOmni™ Link is a software system that brings the Anker ecosystem and  compatible third-party smart home devices into a central local intelligence system, supporting  close to 100 Anker devices and hundreds of Matter-compatible products. Anker devices can  be added with a single tap, while Matter compatibility integrates products from other brands  into one network, working alongside Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and  Home Assistant. For current HomeBase S380 users, existing footage can be transferred  smoothly to the MindBase hub.

Compute with Anker TrueSmart™ Agent

At the center is Anker TrueSmart™ Agent, an on-device AI engine powered by the built-in AI  Core compute card. The AI chip has a powerful large language model developed in-house  with 26 TOPS computing power, enabling AI agents to perceive, plan and act locally. The agent  architecture is designed to expand over time, with the Network-Attached Storage (NAS) Agent  and Security Agent launching first.

Store with Anker EverSafe™ Memory

Anker EverSafe™ Memory gives families a private, expandable storage layer within their  own home. It consolidates photos, recordings, files and device data into a local hub that  supports 48 terabytes of expandable local storage, functioning as a NAS. With locally  processed data and storage, EverSafe™ Memory supports filtering through footage using  natural-language search, curating security highlight reels, organizing files, photo and video  analysis, without sending personal data to the cloud.

A New Era of Proactive AI Home Security

The first product powered by MindBase is the Anker MindBase™ Security Kit, marking a  strategic shift to a unified home security platform. The kit combines MindBase with the  upcoming Anker eufy TrackLightCam S1 — a revolutionary active deterrence camera with  auto-tracking light, combining 180-degree dual-radar detection with 4K resolution to deter  intruders, in addition to the Video Doorbell S4, Smart Security Shield, entry and motion  sensors. Details on launch and pricing will be announced at a later stage.

Running entirely on-device, MindBase’s first security-focused AI agent evaluates events in  real-time to assess risk and respond through observation, lighting, verbal warnings or active  deterrence, creating multiple layers of protection across the home. The Smart Security Shield  is a sensor placed at the edge of the yard, using 180-degree dual radar to detect strangers  from up to 15 meters away, while its DSKey digital credential allows MindBase to recognize  family members from up to 30 meters away.

Looking ahead, more Agents powered by MindBase will be launched, such as an Energy  Agent for your home’s power, a Clean Agent for cleaning, smart appliances, and beyond.
