The Eufy Robot Vacuum Omni C28 / C28A is Eufy’s offering to bring hassle free cleaning to your home at a more affordable price featuring massive suction, a self-cleaning continuous roller mop, and a fully automated base station, it challenges flagship vacuum-mop combos that can hit your pocket alot harder when it comes to price. And after testing this the last few weeks we can see there is value for money here even just by looking you can see there is more on the unit on offer straight away, yeah I am digging at the single sweeping brush you get two here it is a thing that annoys me greatly..
You will the usual home for the robot vacuum and it is on average for their size, there is no screen on this however you have plenty to see and do in the app as you will see in the video review below and screenshots.
The home base offers the usuals with filter and buckets which sperates the clean from the dirt and it is simple to remove the trays which is great and they hold a good volume of water there is a dust bag too and filter not only on the base but in the vavuum itself with a removable tray with filters you get lots of extra brushes mops and filters in the box rather than flimsy one or two if you are lucky with others if even that.
Setting up is simple simply find where you want it in your home then you can organise from there with the mapping process add or remove rooms and strike out zones and so on it is pretty clever to be honest and it is fun to watch it do its thing and of course with me testing I threw things in the way and no problem it went around so no need to worry about legs of chairs or tables it will find them on its own and it also has surface detection.
I would play around with the app for a while which is simple to navigate with a nice UI to get to see the full features that are available to you it is lss clunky than others I have tried and not cumbersome with too many submenus it is pretty clean and simple which is what people want some of these robot vacuums can be like NASA stations with a horrible UI and experience overall but not here.
The suction is good and strong it will take up pet hair my dog doesnt leave many but we left the floor for a few days to test this out and it left the floor spotless and shining you can actually mop while mapping if you like when setting up but with the vacuum and mopping your floor will shine that is for sure, battery life is also good on this compared to other offerings out there and some of what we have tested before.
I tried to trick this and failed put things in the way it found them and had set ups to catch it out in tight corners for example and it navigated around them with ease so there was no need for me to give it a kick in the ass and unstick it or move it and it does the job with ease, see the full video review below for more.

Hair tangling data is based on testing in the following scenarios: On hard floors and Wilton carpets, a mix of 0.15 g of 20 cm hair and 0.15 g of 30 cm hair showed no hair left on the roller brush for 7 consecutive cleaning cycles. On hard floors and Wilton carpets, 1 g of 8 – 15 cm Golden Retriever hair left no hair on the roller brush after 6 consecutive cleaning cycles.
