Journey, a market leader in hotel retailing and the hospitality industry’s first unified Hospitality Performance Platform that works with Ireland’s luxury hotels, has been appointed by The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) as a preferred provider of digital marketing, website, and gift voucher solutions within its Leading Strategic Sourcing (LSS) program.
LHW is the largest collection of independent luxury hotels, with over 425 properties in over 80 countries. Through its LSS program, run in collaboration with DayBlink GPO, member hotels can access innovative technology, marketing, and commercial solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
As part of this preferred vendor agreement, LHW member hotels can access Journey’s connected technology and services, including high-performance digital marketing, website solutions, and a leading gift voucher platform. Together, these capabilities help hotels grow direct revenue by creating seamless online guest experiences that attract and convert demand, while streamlining operations. Journey already works with several LHW member properties internationally, including Carlisle Bay in Antigua, reflecting its growing presence in the global luxury hospitality sector.
The agreement further strengthens Journey’s growth in Ireland, where luxury hotels are increasingly investing in technology to optimise non-room revenue from experience upselling.
Digital transformation remains a key priority for LHW and its members, particularly as luxury hotels across Ireland and internationally seek to strengthen direct booking channels and enhance the guest journey online. Journey’s solutions support this evolution by combining web development, digital marketing, and conversion optimisation capabilities to unlock new revenue opportunities while reducing operational complexity.
Simon Bullingham, Founder and CEO of Journey, said: “Luxury hotels today need to think and operate more like retailers. Guests expect seamless digital experiences they can personalise to their exact preferences, but the real opportunity lies in how hotel experiences are packaged, promoted, and presented to guests, not just rooms. Our alliance with LHW is about giving independent hotels the tools to do exactly that, offering a more joined-up experience, driving conversion, increasing total guest spend, and making digital commerce a core part of their commercial strategy.”
Sean Fitzgerald, VP Operations, of DayBlink Ventures, said: “We are pleased to welcome Journey as a preferred provider within our Leading Strategic Sourcing program. As our member hotels look to expand beyond traditional room revenue, Journey’s capabilities support a more holistic retail model that enables hotels to better package, personalise, and monetise the full guest experience. As guest experiences become a bigger revenue driver for hotels, having the right commercial solutions is critical to unlocking their full potential.”
