The Fitcamx Dash Cam for Mercedes-Benz is a simple to use and install dashcam for everyone in this instance as there is several options available this one being a simple plug and play option you can get an OBD version and hard wired version too but this is and has been the simplest install of any dashcam I have tried and used it has to be said.
You get all you need in the kit supplied remove the existing housing and simply swap out with the new one and plug in the two connectors to the light console and job is done there is also an SD card supplied in the box.
There is just two buttons on this and three led lights and a mic the first button is a power button the other the camera button it is that simple.
Once set up you will need the fitcamx app and again there is no messing around here either simply connect via Wi-Fi and it connects fast unlike others I have reviewed over the years and messing around with passwords each time this just connects once you open the app and press connect and you are ready to go.
You can have the dashcam running vertically or horizontally and you can set the quality in the app you can take snapshots or videos on the fly and turn the mic on or off again all so simple with two big icons on the screen,
The files auto store to your albulm where you edit download or share literally anywhere you can set the time loop and also parking and driving sensor sensitivity too within the app as you will see in the full video review below.
Downloading files take only a minute on the go or you can use the USB transfer tool provider and pop the SD card into that then into your PC. Images and videos are high quality to watch on the go or when downloaded to your phone on PC.
You will not find a dashcam so esy to use and hassle free as this one and for me I will be placing one on my other vehicles and advising friends and family about them as they cover a huge range of vehicles.
