CHERRY XTRFY INTRODUCES FIRST 8K ULTRA-WIDEBAND GAMING KEYBOARD - techbuzzireland.com
The CHERRY XTRFY K63W Pro will make its debut at COMPUTEX 2026. The high-performance gaming keyboard introduces Ultra-Wideband technology in a low-profile gasket design, paired with a true 8000 Hz polling rate.

Ultra-Wideband transmits data in short bursts across a much wider frequency spectrum than traditional wireless solutions, which operate within narrow and crowded frequency bands. This allows for more precise signal timing, reduced interference and stable wireless communication, even in congested wireless environments. For gaming peripherals specifically, the technology delivers lower-latency wireless performance, high throughput for true 8000 Hz polling, more robust connectivity and greater power efficiency for longer battery life.

The K63W Pro Compact reports to the host system up to eight times every millisecond in both wired and wireless modes. Combined with a high-capacity 6000 mAh battery and the efficiency of low-energy Ultra-Wideband, the keyboard is designed for sustained high-performance gaming sessions.
“With the K63W Pro, we wanted to evolve wireless gaming even further. Ultra-Wideband technology and 8K polling deliver extreme performance, while the carefully tuned gasket construction creates a typing feel you would never expect from a low-profile keyboard. The result is a keyboard built for both competitive gaming and hours of daily typing,” says Joakim Jansson, Director of Product Management at CHERRY.
The K63W Pro also introduces a new compact 70% layout optimised for gaming, retaining the function row while reducing side bulk to maximise space for mouse movement. The keyboard further evolves low-profile typing by pairing refined CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches with a carefully tuned gasket construction, delivering softer keystrokes, deeper acoustics and a more satisfying typing experience in a slim form factor.
The K63W Pro will launch in the EU in early July at a recommended retail price of €179.99 (UK RRP £172.99), followed by US availability in August at an RRP of $169.99. Availability in Asia will be announced separately, alongside additional local products showcased at the event.
CHERRY can be found at booth Q1030, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2.
