The Chinese manufacturer Vivo, has become popular due to their great audio quality smartphones.

Following the same principles from the Vivo X6 series, the X6s and the X6s Plus come with best in class audio components.

The X6s is equipped with an AKM4375 32-bit DAC, while the X6s Plus packs a ES9028 DAC within a YAMAHA YSS-205X audio processor

They share practically all the specs but the screen size, one being 5,2” while the other is 5,7” both with FHD resolution.

The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 which should be able to give you a great experience.

4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal memory to choose from.

And for your games and videos there’s an Adreno 520 GPU

The camera department has been improved as well, now giving you a 16MP shooter on the back with an 8MP front facing will have you covered.

Prices as you’d expect are pretty much a midrange flagship, the Chinese store price tags are CNY 2598 or around $400 for the X6S and CNY 2,998 or $470 for the X6S Plus

Shipping is said to begin on April 5.

What’s you opinion about these phones? Are you agreed on this new trend of offering great performance with some compromise aimed to specific audience?

Let us know in the comments below if you’d take one if they become available on your shores.
