Facebook bought Oculus back in 2014 and for those who have been waiting for the ultimate in VR experience got good news yesterday and bad news today,the bad news is on the price it commands which $599 or if you are in Ireland or the UK this cost mounts to €699 and will be available to order from Ireland and the UK which is good news I guess since us Irish dont the the cream first on most things technology..
Not only that you will need a computer that can run rift and the requirements are as follows
- graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD R9 290 equivalent or greater
- processor: Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
- memory: 8GB+ RAM
- output: Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
- input: 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
- operating system: Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer
- Compatibility tool
