New Pixel means new case and yes more to come but today we have the Original Pixel case for the new 7a and it is a nice one and will be welcomed by users of the new phone and we have tried it out and we like it alot..
It is a case and after all so it will be a short review and you can see more in the hands on video below and what to expect when you pick your up from the store in which there is several colours to pick from matching your device which is nice. This case will offer protection for your device all round and has a nice lip around the front too making it blend in the the front of the screen and also gives you additional grip which again is welcome, all ports are accessible and you can still use wireless charging with the case on. The keys are excellent too and have good travel and makes using the keys better in my opinion.
Your charging cables should be fine and the speaker ports are also clear so you have no interruption of functionality here at all. The only one downside I can see is perhaps the same as last year is dust building up at the end of the camera bar if kept in pockets and so on but no huge deal it can be cleaned off with a cloth.
Materials
Case made with over 35% recycled plastics based on product weight
The external portion of the case’s power and volume buttons is made of 100% recycled aluminium
Case has a polycarbonate shell made with 75% recycled plastics
Extra protection, edge to edge.
Featuring durable, stain-resistant silicone material and raised edges, the case helps to protect your phone in all those ‘oops’ moments.
Thoughtfully made. A smooth feel.
It’s made with over 35% recycled plastics, and the soft silicone puts premium comfort in the palm of your hand.
The Pixel 7a has been launched and we have been testing it the last week or two and of course we steered clear of the leaks and of course we remain leak free on our site and take word from the horses mouth as they say and that is how it always has been here and will remain that way and we leave others who cant help themselves for clicks to do that. We have had the phone for almost 2 weeks so you could say this is an early review and we will look at it again in a few months time.
So yes as mentioned we have been testing the device in our hands and right now I can tell you this device is going to fly off the shelves with the price it comes in at and even some pixel 7 owners might feel a bit peeved even going by what is being said on social media when it comes to the specs on this phone, I am a Pixel 7 owner and it has been my daily driver since launch and it still working a treat and the Pixel devices are known for getting better over time and that much is true but the 7a is going to be a phone to watch and it is now my daily driver but in a smaller package how does it fair out against its predecessors.
In the unboxing and walk through below we go through the device in better detail but out of the box the build quality is excellent and on par with the Pixel 7 which I still also use on a daily basis and it is just a smaller footprint in size overall yet built to last and better than I had expected being the a series. Some small differences overall but nothing out of kilter when you place both devices side by side as you will see in the video below.
Size matters for some and the Pixel 7a hits the sweet spot for me I am not a huge fan of big devices like I once was and since I started using this it hits the spot for me, given you have less screen estate it is not important and for me and how I use my phone on the go and when at home I can use a bigger device for media consumption as during the day it is business and I like to have a phone in my pocket that is not to intrusive or weighty.
The Pixel 7a is the same productivity tool and comes packed again with the same tools on board and is great for multitasking and for those like me who use their device for multiple tasks during the day not including social media and emails etc it flies along as before with no signs of being sluggish and for me worked a treat just as my Pixel 7 still does today and for those who need a device that is capable and offers such tools as the Pixel 7 does the 7a will be a worthy investment.
The Pixel 7a comes with a decent screen with a 90hz refresh rate again a thing that people nitpick at and the 120hz refresh rate that should be a standard which is an argument for another day as most people cant tell the difference. We also get a 6.1-inch (155 mm) 20:9 aspect ratio FHD+ (1080×2400) OLED at 429 PPI and Smooth Display (up to 90Hz)
The camera, again a powerhouse and I have had some time to test this out this time around before my review and again it is simply excellent and for a point and shoot you cant beat it. You can decide from the image gallery below with day and night images videos and more. The front facing camera offers 13 MP, 1.12 μm pixel width , ƒ/2.2 aperture, Fixed focus 95° ultrawide field of view photo unblur, magic eraser, night sight, face unblur, real tone, top shot and much more. The video is again great offering 4K video recording at 30/60 FPS and 1080p video recording at 30/60 FPS, The front camera offers 4K video recording at 30 FPS 1080p video recording at 30 FPS.
Other features include – Cinematic Pan, Slo-mo video support up to 240 FPS , 4K time lapse with stabilisationAstrophotography time lapse , Optical image stabilisation, Fused video stabilisation, 4K Cinematic Pan video stabilisation
4K locked video stabilisation, 1080p active video stabilisation, Digital zoom up to 5x14 , Video formats: HEVC (H.265) and AVC (H.264).
Security wise we have got the usual with face unlock and this works really well as does the fingerprint scanner which has been a bit troublesome over the years but seems fine now and the same for my Pixel 7 you also can avail of the old fashioned patter, pin or password but most today prefer the bio-metric approach.. Lastly we have a 4300 mAh and for me lasts almost a day given I am a power user it will get most through the day this time round though we have wireless charging which has been a bugbear of previous a series devices but now finally solved.

The Skullcandy Grind HAZE are the latest on offer from the company who has been dishing out some really cool collaborations over the last while and it does not seem like it is stopping anytime soon either and we say let it continue to bring something different to the market albeit updated models of past but we love it and the 420 friendly earbuds are the newest and affordable and not shy on features either and after my testing the last while they get my approval and not only that they look cool to boot.
You can see the full unboxing if you missed that to get an idea of what to expect should you wish to pick these up but be quick.
The case these come with is cool with a somewhat transparent lid with a beige colour case which I think complements each other well and also well built, the case is pocketable too and does not get dirty with a matt finish and draws attention like the earbuds themselves.
Yes the earbuds also draw attention with several colours and a cloth like material on them which makes it easy to remove from the case and this is a good idea I think as some earbuds have been known to be tricky to remove from the case over my years of testing but not here, there is LED lights on each side and the outer part has a purple and orange tone which all blends in well and not only that they fit well too and again this is down to you on deciding the right tips to suit your ears.
Skullcandy Grind HAZE – techbuzzireland
How do they sound? Well as expected they sound great as all Skullcandy earbuds do from my testing and no features dropped over the aesthetics here which is good we have all the features as expected and more and the bonus here is Skull IQ which we have spoken about several times here which just makes life super easy by calling out the commands rather than fuss about with your phone or even the earbuds themselves, the controls on the earbuds are excellent too and again we go through this and the app in the video review below.
The sound is great as expected no lag latency nice volume highs lows and mids no distortion on max volume and in general well balance and of course you have the app to set these up to your liking too, you have a decent battery life too and not forgetting all the features packed in here for the money if you want a flashy case and pair of earbuds you need to check these out.

Expleo, a global technology, engineering and consulting service provider, today announces the results of a new survey which has found that 94% of businesses on the island of Ireland are struggling to find IT staff, despite recent layoff announcements from many of the world’s largest tech companies. The research found that business leaders believe that the issue is widespread, with nearly three-quarters (74%) saying that Ireland is struggling to attract top technology talent.
Expleo carried out independent research* of 141 business leaders on the island of Ireland and found that organisations face internal and external challenges when it comes to tech talent. Most (86%) business leaders believe their organisations have under-invested in the skills base of their employees. A further 74% believe that automation must be part of their organisation’s solution, as there simply won’t be enough skilled people to get the necessary work done.
As they struggle to recruit and retain talent, the vast majority (83%) of business leaders are finding themselves under pressure to meet rising salary expectations amid ongoing inflation. More than one-third (38%) said that candidates are receiving salary offers that are 20% higher, or more, elsewhere.
The ease at which employees can change jobs to take on a more senior role or receive a higher salary is a key challenge for business leaders, along with their ability to meet employee expectations regarding modern workstyles. The research found that the top challenges when it comes to attracting and retaining tech talent are: offering a better work/life balance and reduced workload (47%), offering competitive promotion and career advancement opportunities (36%), and meeting expectations relating to flexible or remote working arrangements (35%).
As they continue to be challenged by IT skills shortages, 70% of business leaders on the island of Ireland say these shortages are impacting their business and transformation plans, with one in five saying they are having a significant impact.
To address the issue, more than one-third (38%) of businesses are now outsourcing more functions to third parties or consultants. Internal measures, meanwhile, include investing in external training for staff (42%), hiring more for remote roles (39%) and adopting hyperautomation principles to automate as many business processes as possible (39%).
Paul O’Malley, Chief Operating Officer, Expleo Ireland, said:“Our research highlights that business leaders in Ireland are acutely aware of the role that technology talent plays in their growth and success. With this in mind, and despite some very high-profile layoff announcements in recent months, businesses are continuing to struggle to find and retain the IT talent that will be pivotal to their – and the economy’s – future.
“While organisations can only do so much when it comes to external pressures such as inflation and salary competition, our research shows that businesses who are suffering from IT talent issues must take a bolder approach and tackle this issue head-on. We can see that business leaders in Ireland are open to this, with almost three-quarters saying that part of the solution lies in automation, while others are outsourcing more functions.
“At Expleo, we are helping businesses with the successful blending of internal and external expertise. In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, business leaders are under increasing pressure to keep their organisations ahead of the curve to remain competitive. By providing them with the best technology solutions, teams and talent – such as highly-skilled software teams or agile pods – we are ensuring that businesses are equipped with the right resources to work on the right projects, at the right time.
“With such an overwhelming majority of business leaders admitting that their company has under-invested in the skills base of their employees, now is the time to pave the way to a successful, sustainable future by investing in employees, their potential and their wellbeing.”
The Jabra Elite 4 are a familiar looking pair of earbuds which comes from their current portfolio keeping things clean as usual and inline with past models making them fit right in on the range at an affordable price and these are aimed at those who want a seamless connection offering multipoint connection, fast and swift pair so moving between devices such as laptops and phones which many of us do today and effortless experience and this is what you get with these affordable earbuds and they do not lack in features either.
As mentioned the design is not new and consistent with past models so they fit well with the right tips which you should always check and also go through the sound test in the sound plus app to get them set up to your satisfaction. We have buttons again each side rather than touch sensitive controls which I prefer and these work well and always have with Jabra anyway so it is a win there.
Calum MacDougall, SVP at Jabra, said: “The modern earbud user is looking for tech that’s ready for work and play at their fingertips, whilst not compromising on key features. The Elite 4 offer a solution to this and is the perfect all-rounder, designed to help users to concentrate, connect, and call without distractions. It is the ideal companion to balance work and life.”
So is the above correct? Well in short it is and we share how we found these new Elite 4 overall..
When it comes to sound you get the same quality and features as we have previously seen which is no surprise and there is not much to complain about in fact there is nothing on my findings and sometime of testing the sound is great and as expected alongside with call quality which was clear both ends. You have your controls at hand to customise them and also the app to customise the sound profiles and create your own and we will go through this in the review, what is different this time is the actual level of customising the buttons when it comes to controls as they are fixed this time rather than you being able to change them as you will see below and in the full video review after that.
So some may feel a bit inconvenienced because the controls are fixed this time around but the thing is all the controls are there as you would have seen in past earbuds only fixed but those familiar with Jabra might be a bit more custom to setting their own up and in reality it is not a huge deal being honest you have great sound as before great call quality and a long standing brand that delivers all the time with earbuds.
No lag latency was notice at all as expected decent volume too and for gaming they passed the test as many earbuds now cater for both audio and call fans and now gamers is a new feature we now see more of in earbuds. You have aptX but no AAC here too which is an ask people like in general and the battery life here is not the greatest in the world which is up to 28hrs with ANC off depending on your personal settings however as a whole at the price they come in at you cant really complain. There is no wireless charging which is a cost cutting measure but unlike me it is still something not massively adopted here and no big deal either.
If you are on a budget and do not want to fork out on the next tier or earbuds these fall into the mid-tier section but have good attributes gearing toward higher end and do not sound cheap either with no distortion on sound at max volumes. You can also use one earbud at a time too which is handy and something I do quite often these days. Check the video review below for more.
The App

Word of Warcraft (WoW) has long been a staple of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) genre. One of the most thrilling aspects of WoW is raiding, where players come together to battle against powerful bosses and reap the rewards. In this article, we dive deep into the raiding community and explore what makes it so fascinating and addictive.
The Art of Teamwork in WoW Raids
Raids in WoW are complex, high-stakes encounters that require a team of dedicated players working together. The success of a raid depends on the coordination and cooperation of its members. Each player brings their unique skills to the group, with roles such as tanks, healers, and damage dealers all playing crucial parts. Communication is key, as players must constantly adapt to the ever-changing battlefield.
The Importance of Guilds and Raid Teams
Guilds and raid teams are the heart of the raiding community. Players join forces to create a tight-knit group that shares a common goal: conquering WoW’s toughest challenges. Guilds often have dedicated raid leaders and team members who strategize, plan, and schedule raiding events. The sense of camaraderie in these groups is unmatched, as players forge lasting friendships and share unforgettable experiences.
The Thrill of Progression and World Firsts
A major driving force in the raiding community is the pursuit of progression. As new content is released, guilds race to be the first to complete it. This competitive spirit leads to the coveted “World First” title, which is awarded to the first guild to defeat a new raid on the highest difficulty. Earning this title is a true testament to a guild’s skill, coordination, and commitment.
The Role of Addons and Tools in Raiding
Addons and third-party tools are essential for serious raiders. These user-created modifications enhance the game’s interface and functionality, providing valuable information during raids. Addons like Deadly Boss Mods (DBM), WeakAuras, and Exorsus Raid Tools help players track boss abilities, manage cooldowns, and optimize their performance. The proper use of these tools can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Streaming and Content Creation in the Raiding Community
Live streaming and content creation have become integral to the raiding community. Top raiders and guilds share their experiences on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, providing valuable insights, entertainment, and even educational content. Fans tune in to watch their favorite players tackle challenging encounters and learn new strategies to apply in their own raids.
The Role of Boosting Services in the Raiding Community
In addition to the competitive and cooperative aspects of raiding, there’s also a growing market for boosting services that help players achieve their goals in World of Warcraft. These services, often referred to as wow carry, connect experienced players with those seeking assistance in completing challenging raids, leveling up their characters, or acquiring rare items. By offering tailored guidance and support, boosting services cater to a wide range of players, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the thrill of raiding and the rewards it offers.
The Impact of Raiding on WoW’s Economy
Raiding has a significant influence on WoW’s in-game economy. As players acquire new gear and items from raids, the market is flooded with valuable materials and sought-after equipment. This creates opportunities for crafters and traders to profit by providing essential consumables, like flasks and potions, or crafting high-end gear for raiders. Raiding drives the game’s economy, with a constant demand for resources and items.
The Future of Raiding in World of Warcraft
With regular content updates and expansions, the raiding community in WoW continues to evolve and thrive. As the game introduces new challenges, players must adapt and innovate to conquer them. The raiding community remains at the forefront of WoW’s player base, pushing the limits of what’s possible and setting the bar for the rest of the gaming world.
In conclusion, the World of Warcraft raiding community is a unique and vibrant part of the game, offering players endless challenges, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences. The combination of teamwork, competition, and constant innovation keeps the raiding scene alive and engaging. As WoW continues to grow and evolve, the raiding community will undoubtedly remain a cornerstone of the game, captivating players and spectators alike with its unyielding dedication to mastering the toughest content Azeroth has to offer.
While the casino industry has grown tremendously and gained popularity in the recent past, security remains one of the top challenges still faced by the industry. In order to make sure all visitors have an enjoyable experience and also ensure their protection, casinos such as 777 Bitcoin Casino have implemented high-tech solutions for security. This works in protecting customer data from being accessed by unauthorized parties, and making sure all games are fair.
Leveraging machine learning to enhance casino security
Casinos can detect suspicious conduct and identify possible dangers in real time by employing machine learning algorithms. For instance, machine learning may be used to evaluate client data such as spending trends, gaming habits, and other activities to identify any unexpected or suspicious conduct. It may also be used to monitor the casino floor for any strange behavior or actions that may suggest possible danger. This includes watching out for people lingering on the casino floor or accessing restricted areas without authorization. Machine learning may also be used to detect potential fraud by evaluating consumer data such as credit card information and transaction history.
Strengthening casino safety with biometric identification solutions
Biometric technology has been around for decades. However, recent technological advancements have made it more user-friendly and simple to apply in a casino setting. Biometric scanners can now be used to quickly recognize players entering or exiting a casino floor by scanning their fingerprints or irises. This safeguard guarantees that only authorized bettors have access to the gaming sections of the casino. Casinos that implement biometric solutions are also able to work with customer loyalty programs and make it easy to reward customers for their loyalty. This helps create a more personalized experience for customers while also providing an additional layer of security for the casino. Many casinos have also implemented mobile payment options which require biometric verification by bettors. This verification process assures punters of the security of their funds, as well as safeguards the reputation of the casinos.
Integrating cybersecurity protocols into casino networks
The most critical aspect of incorporating cybersecurity policies into casino networks is ensuring that all data is safe and secure from any possible attacks. Casinos can achieve this by implementing an integrated security system that includes firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems and other safeguards. Betting establishments should also have procedures in place that compel staff to use secure passwords and to change them on a regular basis. This makes it harder for hackers to access personal accounts of bettors. Gambling facilities should consider using encryption technology to safeguard sensitive information such as customer credit card numbers and other personal information. It is also advantageous for casino operators to invest in frequent security audits. This will help keep their networks up-to-date with the most recent security procedures.

When in use the green light indicated use, or the Red light when muted, The lens can be slightly adjusted manually up or down. Once connected to eg a team call the kit defaults on the system to the Audio/video settings. The process of connections worked seamlessly and efficiently.
Once connected which was simple and easy the basic in terms of volume up, down mute worked.
A niggle in terms of the connections was noted in Teams & Youtube, On turning up the volume on 2 separate modern Windows laptops, the volume was increased/decreased but not shown on your tube or Team calls, When the mute was pressed on a team call, the call muted & change to red but again the mute symbol within the team call did change to advise muted. ( Technically this worked as expected but not the indication we have become familiar with )
The Audio when increased/decreased via the Uno up/ down buttons, had an effect of a step down of the volume rather than a liner approach noticeable when going from a low volume to 0 volume quickly, typically the frequency of calls on other devices gradually fade away while with Uno this audio when from low to zero.

The kit is compact and I would like to see an option of a USB C cable and an option to connect to a phone, Bluetooth or via the USB C cable to increase the flexibility/option of the kit. The extension cable is excellent allowing to extend of the distance of the cable as required,
The colours of the screen are great to see in terms of Green and Red, but on testing on a team’s call, the mute does as required on the call but does not change the software mute icon to show mute. Similarly, the volume up/down features works but again the software does not show the increase on eg YouTube or MS Teams.
The setup and use are easy requiring no technical skills in this area with the extension cable a bonus to facilitate the placing of the kit further away from the laptop.
The audio experience in terms of moving away from the mic a distance worked quite well for calls where users did not experience a major deterioration of the call quality as I moved further away from the 360° omnidirectional microphone, This was superior to many tested before due to the dynamic noise reduction and echo cancellation features.
The camera has a View angle: of 120° with a Resolution: of 1920 x 1080. This gave a good quality picture while when tested with one person on the call or a team the autofocus of a team’s call did not appear to have much of an effect. The camera can be manually slightly tilted up and down while not a PTZ camera nor does it zoom in out to focus on an area. The camera cannot be manually blocked out rather have to do this via the laptop etc The quality from the CMOS Image sensor ( (1/2.8)) gave a good quality picture at @30fps. The kit works as required with a simple-to-use setup with clear features colour coded for effective calls and audio
