TOZO OpenEgo Sports earphones review

The TOZO OpenEgo boasts an innovative open-ear design for all-day comfort. Utilizing air conduction technology, they deliver clear, focused music. Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-mic DNS ensure a stable connection and clear calls, while the 16.2mm dynamic drivers produce exceptional sound and we have been putting these through their paces over the last couple of weeks..

TOZO are not new to this design and this is a likely upgrade to the OpenReal earbuds which I was impressed with and again with these, TOZO have been continuously impressive with their products since we started testing and there is no drop in that this time round either.

The build quality is excellent and so is the look with a matt finish and I prefer the White over the Black model and they stand  out and look well and also clean and to the point with no protruding keys to be seen,

Once on they will not move they are secure on the ear and ideal for those into fitness and more there is little leakage to be heard when on max volume as you will see in the video review down below.

The sound is great considering these do not go all the way into your ears but they sport big 16.2mm drivers and this style of earbuds is now getting popular with people and I see more and more people wearing them daily.

The sound is also great here with good highs lows and mids decent volume and good treble there is nice bass here too and of course with the EQ settings in their app you are in control to get the perfect sound which you will find great. Calls also good here with a nice deep tone and clear both ends.

NO lag latency noted here either and from my usual test loop with video, movies music and more they sound great to me and eas to recommend if this style earbud is for you and even if you are on the fence it is time you tried this style out. See more in the video review below.

The App

The NANK Runner Diver2 Pro – Bone Conduction Headphones comes with an array of features for those who like the outdoors and sports featuring noise cancelling an on board MP3 player with 32GB of on board storage an IP69 rating for Swimmers and Bluetooth 5.4 and give you 10 hours of battery life and 10 minutes charging gives you and hours time to listen to music which is not bad at all.

There is no app with these but the whole ideal is to keep you away from your phone as they are sports orientated but the casual user can use them too.

They have a robust build with a nice texture all round and will easily take many a knock.

Built in there is open ear mode and ANC mode whereby you twist headphones as you will see in the full video review below to set the tone, there is also earpieces you can op in your ears which give good passive noise isolation and the first time I have deen this and it is good to see something new, these work really well and fit well and like the headphones will not fall out or off.

The sound is decent with some slight leakage depending on how loud you have them but expected from such products the volume is decently loud and they are more on the bass heavy side for me but I am ok with that, the sound was fine on highs lows and mids and no tinny sound when maxed out or lag latency noted during my testing.

There is an on board MP3 player which is great and this also has several modes to pick from with 32GB storage there is plenty of room for your listening needs.

The controls are also placed on one side with the charge /data transfer and you have all the controls as expected with skip and reverse tracks, play and pause you can higher and lower the volume and access your voice assistant and calls, calls where fine and again on the deeper side.

Overall an ideal kit for those who are into sports and more they are a solid product that will last.

Tech Review – OpenRock X Open-Ear Air Conduction Sport Earbuds

The OpenRock X Open-Ear Air Conduction Sport Earbuds are their latest product on offer from the brand and this time packed with new features and a new app which is a great start.

Presentation is excellent with a cool styled box and an even better earbuds case that slides open with a press and the earbuds seperated in the middle with housed in an aluminium case.

These are secure and fit well on the ears and will not fall off so ideal for the gym bus/train commutes jogging or cycling and really anyone basically.

There is decent battery life here too with up to 48 hrs in total however will vary with EQ and volume settings. the case is on the large side but will give you plenty of juice on the go and they can fast charge too with 5 mins charging giving you 1 hr which is good.

The sound though.. The sound is actually excellent and leaning toward headphones and earbuds quality and with their app really gives you a better than expected immersive experience they get decently loud too and no issues with lag latency or tinny sound maxed out on volume, there is a volume limiter on board but why bother with that but that is just me I prefer to tune things up to the max.

The new app is quite good with a simple UI and looks good and simple to use with all the features expected, you can customize to your own needs and all feature are there such as call control, voice assistant access, higher and lower volume and change tracks so everything you need is there.

Check out the video review below for a closer look at how they work and their app and listen to more on what I have just said, these are certainly easy to recommend in my opinion.

Tech Review – Edifier Comfo Run – Open-Ear Wireless Sports Headphones

The Edifier Comfo Run – Open-Ear Wireless Sports Headphones are a new pair of bone conduction headphones to hit the market and is a growing trend with us covering over 20 different pairs now at this stage and are popular with sports enthusiasts but they are not confined to just the sports fans using them anyone can and I now see more and more on offer in stores today.

These are well built and come with simple controls to use on one side of the headphones which is how I like it all your controls are there and fixed but people think with just three buttons they must be lacking but fear not there is lots that can be done with three buttons as I have teste many before with the same setup.

With more and more of these offering hitting the market these offer an app whilst many do not however do not let the visuals on the App store lead you up the garden path as they are limited on these headphones but it is still good to see there is app access and gives you some control over what is going on you can also locate your headphones if lost and you will be given exact details of where last seen but see the screenshots below for more on the app features.

Having said that about the app they sound great for open ear headphones and very close to your standard earbuds or headphones which is no mean feat with these kind of headphones, there is also not much sound leakage when maxed out on top volume, no tinny sound or lag latency noted in my usual test loop which is pretty extensive covering all genres and some gaming videos and films, call quality is also quite good too.

These sit nicely on your neck and after a few minutes use you will forget they are there and in fact I have been using these extensively of late and put them on first thing and think I have lost them minutes later they are that light.
