WOLFANG Indoor Security Camera (WS01) Review

The WOLFANG Indoor Security Camera model WSO1 is an affordable in house security camera with two tricks up its sleeve others that do not have and at a super affordable price.

The camera can be mounted on a wall or a flat surface and it will need a power outlet nearby you can either use a micro sd card or purchase the cloud storage option which gives a free trail to begin with. The camera can be turned in any direction you need and only works on a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi connection like most do.

Setting up takes a few minutes and once set up and settled where you want it then you can adjust to your needs and leave it sit there and do its job.

The camera itself has all the features you would expect from a security camera and more and gives good clairty audio and video day or night as you will see in the footage below in the video review.

For me with this camera it not only picks up sound even if nothing is seen on video it also gives you a very accurate description of what it sees and again this is shown in the video review below.

For me this is a worth home securtiy camera to have i your home and now has me interested in more of what they have to offer and you should cehck the company out.

Status Pro X Earbuds Review

The Status Audio Pro X earbuds are the company’s latest flagship release, aimed squarely at listeners who prioritize exceptional audio quality above all else. Building on the foundation of their previous models (like the Between 3ANC), the Pro X delivers a technically impressive and immersive listening experience, not tested the previous models and can see no reason to need to do so after testing these out.

The single biggest selling point of the Pro X is its internal hardware: a hybrid triple-driver system in each earbud. This setup includes a large 12mm dynamic driver for powerful, controlled bass, and two Knowles balanced armature drivers dedicated to handling the mid-range and high frequencies.

  • Detail and Clarity: This multi-driver approach pays off immediately. The audio fidelity is fantastic, offering outstanding clarity and resolution. You can pick up nuances, instrumental separation, and vocal textures that often get lost in single-driver earbuds.
  • Tuning: Out of the box, the sound signature is dynamic and engaging, featuring deep, tight bass that doesn’t overwhelm the clear mids and crisp, detailed highs. For those who like to customize, the companion app offers an 8-band equalizer (EQ) and presets, including the well-regarded “Knowles Preferred” curve.
  • Hi-Res Audio: The inclusion of advanced Bluetooth codecs like LDAC (for Android users) and the future-proof LC3 means the Pro X can stream high-resolution audio (up to 24-bit/96 kHz), truly utilizing the capability of the triple drivers.

Status has refined the design, making the Pro X significantly smaller and lighter (about 20% smaller) than its predecessors.

  • Fit: They maintain the unique, stemmed, elliptical design but sit more snugly in the ear. While they no longer use the silicone “fitwings,” the ergonomic shape, combined with the multiple included eartips, ensures a secure and comfortable fit for most users, even during long listening sessions and always check for the best tips the ones on might not be the best for everyone.
  • Build: They are rated IP55 for water and dust resistance, making them durable enough for gym use and everyday weather.
  • Controls: The touch controls are reliable and responsive and no issues after some time using them like any other earbuds it is all about the thumb memory.

The Pro X offers hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that is a massive improvement over previous Status models.

  • ANC Performance: The ANC is highly effective, especially at canceling out consistent low-frequency noises like airplane engines or office hums, reaching up to -52dB of reduction. It’s solid for daily commutes and focusing, overall decent especially in low noise enironments where you can get the best experience.
  • Transparency Mode: The ambient/transparency mode is functional but can sound a bit “artificial” compared to industry leaders.
  • Call Quality: Call clarity is excellent thanks to six beam-forming microphones and Voiceloom AI speech enhancement technology, which effectively suppresses background noise during calls.
  • Connectivity: Features like Multipoint connectivity (allowing simultaneous connection to two devices), Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair work flawlessly and are great for hybrid work. They use the latest Bluetooth 5.3 standard.
  • Battery Life: Status claims up to 8 hours of playback per charge, with 24 hours total from the case. This will vary per user and their setting as with any earbuds or headphones ANC does impede greatly on any.
  • Charging: The case supports both USB-C charging and wireless (Qi) charging ideal for those like me who has adopted this all over my house and office.

The Status Audio Pro X earbuds are designed for the audio enthusiast— A person who can tell the difference between a high-bitrate stream and a standard one. As having the biggest range of earbuds reviewed in Ireland I can confirm these are the dogs, you know what.

Garmin Venu 4 45mm Smartwatch Review

The Garmin Venu 4 (45mm) is the company’s latest to bridge the gap between a sleek, everyday smartwatch and a powerful, dedicated multisport fitness tracker. Building significantly on the Venu 3, the Venu 4 introduces a more premium metalized design and brings over some of Garmin’s most advanced training features previously reserved for its high-end Forerunner and Fenix lines and I also feel it is taking on WHOOP with some of its features on board which is fine, WHOOP has no display and the watch does so it is a matter of wanting less time on your phone here which I do and have been doing getting metrics on the go by looking at your watch.

The 45mm Venu 4 represents a significant upgrade in build quality, moving to a full metal case that feels noticeably more premium and robust than its predecessors. The watch is stylish enough to look at home in an office setting but durable enough for the trail. It is a familiar design like many watches out there but you can up the style with different bands on offer which are nice like the leather bands.

The 1.4-inch AMOLED display is bright, vibrant, and highly responsive, offering excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. For me after using the watch for some weeks I found this display and it stands out and you can of course customize it even more with faces and make it stand out more.

A new hardware addition is the built-in LED flashlight (with white and red light modes), a feature trickled down from Garmin’s high-end watches, which is surprisingly useful for visibility during night runs or finding something in the dark like keys for trying to get into your house for example or just general looking for things in the dark.

This is where the Venu 4 truly excels, incorporating professional-grade metrics into a lifestyle watch:

  • Training Readiness and Status: Borrowed from the Forerunner series, you now get a morning score based on sleep quality, recovery, HRV, and acute load, helping you determine if you should push hard or take a rest day. Training Status gives you deeper insight into the effectiveness of your overall regimen.
  • Dual-Frequency GPS: The inclusion of Multi-Band (Dual-Frequency) GNSS is a major technical upgrade. This provides superior positional accuracy, especially in challenging environments like dense cities or canyons, making it a reliable tool for runners and outdoor athletes.
  • Lifestyle Logging: A new wellness feature allows you to manually log behaviors like caffeine or alcohol intake directly on the watch. The Garmin Connect app then correlates these entries with changes in key metrics like sleep, stress, and HRV, offering genuinely useful insights into how your daily habits impact your well-being. For me logging things daily is annoying however tried it out here with a general task every day it will pormpt you every day which is not bad for those wanting to use such a feature.
  • Sleep Metrics: The watch offers comprehensive sleep coaching, tracking naps, and introducing Sleep Alignment (how well your sleep pattern matches your circadian rhythm) and Sleep Consistency again wasted on me never used such.
  • Over 80 Sports Apps: The Venu 4 covers virtually every activity, including new features like Mixed Session profiles for tracking multiple activities in one workout (e.g., a triathlon or Hyrox session).

The 45mm Venu 4 offers up to 12 days of battery life in standard smartwatch mode, which is a colossal advantage over competitors like the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch which I have both of and can confirm in the real world this is the best watch for battery end of story I own right now.

Always-On Display (AOD): If you use the always-on display, the battery life drops to about 4-5 days, which is still competitive.

GPS Use: Even with the high-accuracy Multi-Band GPS active, the watch can last up to 19 hours, making it excellent for long hikes or marathon training mostly used with ealks for me as out with an injury and still am confined to an extent.

While the Venu 4 is a powerful all-rounder, it has a couple of minor trade-offs:

It lacks the deep, seamless integration and third-party app ecosystem of watches running Apple’s or Google’s operating systems. The voice assistant functionality relies on your paired phone and can feel a bit clunky. I am use to having full rich notifications but this is not the case here with no images in emails such as my cameras etc not a huge deal but miss it.

Unlike some competitors, there is no option for LTE connectivity, meaning you must have your phone nearby for full connectivity and calls however I think most are in this same situation and use the watch and phone for me it has always been the case.

It sits at a higher price point than its predecessor, reflecting the addition of the premium materials and advanced training features and price can be a factor for some people with the feature set, Garmin has a loyal following like Apple and Samsung.

The Garmin Venu 4 45mm which is the model I tested is an exceptional choice for the user who wants a watch that transitions effortlessly between the gym, the trail, and the boardroom. It successfully blends an attractive, premium design with Garmin’s leading-edge fitness and recovery data. If you prioritize multi-day battery life, highly accurate GPS, and deep insights into your fitness and recovery metrics like WHOOP does over the smart communication features of an Apple or Galaxy Watch, the Venu 4 is easily one of the best watches on the market right now if you are not fussy over some small caveats.

BrushO – FSB 300 AI Toothbrush That Rewards You Review

The BrushO FSB 300 AI toothbrush is a new entry to the market for dental hygiene that also rewards you for brushing not that this should be feature to to invest in one you but gives you an incentive to brush your teeth more but a good one nontheless.

We have reviewed several sonic toothbrushes in the past and they are getting better to be fair and do a great job to get people on to a better routine of taking care of the teeth and with having a companion app like this BrushO has it only encourages you and yet sometimes myself I have been lazy which is why I love tech like this that makes you do things..

The core value of the BrushO lies in its integrated AI system, which functions as a hyper-vigilant personal dental coach through its companion app.

The brush utilizes multiple smart sensors to track three crucial elements of your brushing technique, It maps your mouth into zones (quadrants) and tracks exactly where you are brushing and, more importantly, where you’re missing. The app provides a visual score and map, ensuring you hit all surfaces with a colour coded map on screen and phone.

The brush has an effective pressure sensor that alerts you (often via a visual change on the brush itself and/or a notification in the app) when you are scrubbing too hard.

It includes the standard 2-minute timer with a 30-second reminder to switch to the next quadrant, ensuring you brush for the dentist-recommended time. Two minutes feels like forever doing this as I have said in past reviews which again shows the lazy effect and the AI score will gently remind you each time you are done.

This detailed, real-time coaching is transformative and as mentioned will get you into a routine like for example I have been using a WHOOP band and new Garmin watch for example and they work which is something I said would not beat me but has and this is all good.

While the smart features are the selling point, the primary task is cleaning, and the BrushO delivers. The high-speed sonic vibrations leave teeth feeling exceptionally smooth and “post-dentist clean.” The brush head design is highly effective at maneuvering into tight spots and around back molars, ensuring plaque removal even in hard-to-reach areas.

There is multiple cleaning options from deep clean smokey gum care and more from you to pick from the app does offer more options here that others I have tested in the past and works really well asides cleaning your teeth in the process.

There is a small screen on the toothbrush which you can select the clean you like and gives you a live picture of what has been done and so on and this will crosss over to the app but I would suggest using the app for the perfect session as everyone is different also to note you have to scan the toothbrush head too to make it work this is something I have not seen before aside binding the toothbrush itself which is the norm.

The BrushO as mentioned does a good lob of cleaning your teeth and has a great coach and options in the app to help you stick to a plan and customize your session when brushing you will find that it lowers the intesity if not doing it correctly and for example if you have a tooth missing which I do it will show up on the graph.

Over the time testing I tried different avenues of brushing and it shows in the app where was cleaned properly and where was not by a colour index on the teeth graph which is great so being lazy is not an option here you will be told how each session went, finally you can also earn from brushing which is great and more of an incentive which I feel is a great option and ot seen before on any other toothbrush I have covered, the option to earn points again great to see here and this will work offering you to get nw heads or brush which means you are locked into their product which is fine once they continue to offer more products later on giving people a choice and also letting the customer know they are serious and also to point out I had two software updates which is something to note, see the video below for more..

Fujifilm instax mini LiPlay+ hybrid instant camera Review

The Fujifilm Instax mini LiPlay+ builds upon the popular LiPlay hybrid concept, delivering a compact, 3-in-1 device that functions as a digital camera, an instant film printer, and a unique sound recorder. Launched as an upgrade to its predecessor, the LiPlay+ introduces some new features that make it one of the most versatile Instax cameras yet.

The most impactful upgrade is the Dual-Lens System. Where the original relied on a small mirror for selfies, the LiPlay+ features a dedicated wide-angle selfie camera on the back (above the main LCD). This significantly improves framing and precision for self-portraits. This dual system powers the new Layered Photo Mode, allowing users to combine images from both lenses onto a single print.

Like all Instax hybrids, the LiPlay+ is a digital camera first (using a small 1/5-inch CMOS sensor, producing 4.9MP images), which is a huge benefit:

  1. Select Before You Print: You can review, edit, and filter images on the 3.0-inch LCD before committing to a print, saving expensive film.
  2. Smartphone Printing: It connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone, allowing it to function as a printer for any photo on your phone’s camera roll.

The camera’s digital image quality (4.9MP)  and is not intended to compete with modern smartphones. It captures the charm of nostalgic, retro photography.

  • Best Performance: Performs best in bright, well-lit conditions.
  • Low Light: Expect focus hesitation in dim environments, though the built-in flash works well within its limited range (up to 1.5m).
  • Print Quality: When printed on Instax Mini film, the digital file is rendered beautifully in the classic instant film aesthetic. You can choose between Instax-Rich Mode (deeper, vibrant colors) or Instax-Natural Mode (softer, classic film look) before printing.

The LiPlay+ is designed for vertical shooting, which complements the portrait-orientation of the Instax Mini film. The control layout is intuitive, featuring a navigational dial that doubles as shortcuts for filters, frames, and flash settings.

Its compact size (4.86 x 3.27 x 1.49 inches) makes it easy to carry in a coat pocket or small bag some might think it is a bit clunky however and each to their own.

Many of the creative features, like customizing frames and utilizing the advanced Sound Album feature, are managed through the companion smartphone app and you can see this down below and also check out the unboxing and walkthrough video.

This unique feature allows you to record a short (3-second) audio clip when you take a photo. When printed, a QR code appears on the film. Scanning this code with the companion app plays back the recorded sound, adding an interactive, auditory layer to your physical memory. See samples below. Yes you can scan the QR codes.

The Fujifilm Instax mini LiPlay+ is a highly versatile and fun instant camera, ideal for users who want the creative freedom of digital photography without losing the tangible experience of an Instax print. Popular as ever this will be in many Christmas gifts this year and one should lap it up if so and have fun and get creative with the new features on board.

Ulike Air 2 IPL Hair Removal Device

The Ulike Air 2 IPL Hair Removal Device stands out in the at-home beauty market, primarily known for its patented Sapphire Ice-Cooling Technology. This device is a mid-range offering in Ulike’s lineup, designed to provide a near-painless, convenient, and effective way to achieve long-term hair reduction.

Here is a detailed breakdown of the device, its performance, and who it is best suited for.

The Air 2 utilizes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, which works by emitting broad-spectrum light that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. This light energy converts to heat, weakening the follicle and slowing down regrowth.

  • Sapphire Ice-Cooling Technology: This is the flagship feature. The device maintains a cool contact surface which counteracts the heat generated by the IPL flash. This feature is the main reason why users report the treatment as virtually painless, eliminating the stinging or burning sensation common with older IPL models.
  • Wired Device: The Air 2 is a corded device. While this means it must be plugged in during use, it ensures consistent, high-powered flashes and eliminates the worry of battery life dropping mid-session.
  • 5 Intensity Levels: It offers five adjustable energy levels, allowing users to customize the treatment based on their skin sensitivity and the area being treated (e.g., lower levels for the face/bikini line, higher levels for legs/arms).
  • Visible Results in 4 Weeks: Ulike, backed by third-party testing, claims users can see a significant hair reduction in as little as four weeks of consistent use and same can be said from testing here at home with partner
  • Full-Body Use: The device is FDA-cleared for safe use on the legs, body, face, and bikini line.

The Ulike Air 2 is designed with a sleek, lightweight, and ergonomic wand-like shape, making it easy to grip and maneuver across large and curved body areas and is simple to use set up and get going as this takes time to use and it does not offer overnight results as some might come to expect.

  • Setup: The device is very straightforward. After plugging it in, users simply put on the protective sunglasses (included), shave the target area, select the appropriate intensity level, and begin treatment.
  • Painless Operation: The cooling feature is highly praised. Users consistently report that the cooling surface is activated immediately and keeps the skin comfortable, even at higher intensity settings.
  • Treatment Time: While not as fast as newer models like the Air 10, the Air 2 still offers relatively quick sessions. Full-body treatments typically take around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the speed and technique (using the ‘glide’ method or the ‘stamp’ method).

  • The IPL Caveat (Skin Tone & Hair Color): Like all IPL devices, the Air 2 relies on the contrast between dark hair and light skin. It is most effective on lighter skin tones (Fair to Light Brown) with darker hair colors (Brown to Black). It is not recommended for very dark skin tones or for light hair (blonde, gray, red) as it may not be effective or could potentially cause skin irritation.

Consistent use is key to achieving optimal results with the Ulike Air 2 and again a reminder it takes time to see the effects.

The recommended schedule typically involves 3 treatments per week for the first 4 weeks, followed by a transition to maintenance sessions (1 to 3 times per month) once hair growth slows significantly.

Slower Regrowth: Hair growth slows down noticeably within the first month.

Thinner and Lighter Hair: Regrowing hairs become softer, finer, and less dense.

Long-Term Reduction: After the initial phase, many users find they only need occasional touch-ups every few weeks to maintain smooth skin, saving substantial time and money compared to waxing or in-office laser treatments.

The Ulike Air 2 is an excellent choice for first-time IPL users and anyone prioritizing comfort and convenience and also cutting down on costs and you can use at home of if you are travelling and no need to waste time finidng appointments in clinics and so on men and women can use it and done so discreetly.

Novoo Smart Tag NFT1-206G Review: Dual-System Tracker

The Novoo Smart Tag NFT1-206G stands out as a flexible and affordable Bluetooth tracker designed for both iOS (Apple Find My) and Android (Google Find My Device) users, supplying multi-platform support in a slim, lightweight package. The kit includes four separate trackers suitable for luggage, car, keys, and more.

Key Features and First Impressions

  • Dual-System Compatibility: This model works seamlessly with Apple’s and Google’s tracking apps. Resetting the tracker is necessary when switching between systems, which is worth noting for travelers using both device types at home.
  • Reliable Certified Chip: The tag uses a certified AIROHA chip, ensuring secure and stable connectivity with official apps.
  • Replaceable Battery: Each Smart Tag is fitted with a CR2032 battery lasting up to one year. Replacing the battery is straightforward, encouraging long-term use.
  • Volume and Alerts: The built-in speaker produces a 60–80dB alert — sufficient for nearby searches, though not exceptionally loud compared to some premium models.
  • Water Resistance: IPX5 rating means suitable for light rain or splashes, but not intended for full immersion or wet conditions — keep this in mind for outdoor or pet tracking.

Setup and Usability

Setup is intuitive and does not require technical expertise. Activating the tag and pairing it via Bluetooth and the chosen app takes less than a minute. The tracker can be renamed for practical organisation, like assigning one tag to luggage or a vehicle. In testing, tracking was reliable, and notifications about lost items worked promptly, with last-known locations displayed in-app.

Battery lasts up to 1 year and can be replaced with a CR2032

Note: If the tracker is left, e.g., in a car in case the vehicle is stolen, those in the area of the tracker are notified of the tracker’s presence, whether using an iPhone / Android device.

Niggles:

While the Novoo Smart Tag performs admirably for everyday use, several minor drawbacks warrant mention:

  • No Built-in Keychain Holder: The device is slim and durable but lacks a built-in hook for keys or bags, requiring extra holders to be sourced online. An included accessory would add value.
  • Alert Volume: The ring volume, while decent, may not compete with the loudest on the market, which could be limiting in noisy environments.
  • IPX5 Water Resistance: Suits everyday scenarios like rain or splashes but not immersion; this may be a limitation for pet or outdoor applications, so weigh use cases carefully.

Conclusion

The Smart Tag kit allowed tracking everyday items and vehicles, providing peace of mind for travel or parking. The renaming feature proved valuable for luggage, while the global tracking functioned reliably—useful for recovering stolen property.

The Novoo Smart Tag NFT1-206G delivers strong value in a dual-system Bluetooth tracker, offering versatility and reliable tracking for a fair price. While it excels in ease of use and multi-platform support, prospective buyers should consider the lack of a built-in holder and moderate alert volume. For users searching for an accessible, practical, and budget-friendly tracker, especially those switching between Android and iOS, this unit is worthy of consideration.
