TCL UK earns highest engagement at the Olympic Winter Games

The UK division of TCL recently recorded the highest online engagement across the Olympic Winter Games, according to findings compiled by Quantcast.

The AdTech firm tracked UK engagement across the open internet, including news sites and blogs, identifying both the sponsors and sports that received the greatest levels of interaction during the event. TCL saw the largest increase in online engagement across all sponsors, at 30 per cent.

These results reflect the strength of TCL’s approach to the Olympic Winter Games. Rather than simply appearing as a sponsor, we executed a series of activations designed to create genuine audience connection, most notably the local UK ‘In My Zone’ campaign, which featured short-form social content created directly with athletes. The campaign showcased how TCL’s TVs, soundbars and home technology support athletes in their day-to-day lives, from analysing track footage and self-coaching sessions, to gaming for mental reset, family movie nights and recovery routines.

Through a combination of local and global activations and an omnichannel strategy that balanced creativity with reach, TCL was able to meaningfully connect with audiences throughout the Olympic Winter Games.

How Tech Is Becoming A Prominent Team Member For Legal Teams

In the legal industry, time is everything. And it seems the days of teams spending long hours handling paperwork and manual processes are long gone. As businesses embrace digital technology and become more data-driven, legal teams are under increasing pressure to manage information faster and more effectively. Technology helps fill this gap, becoming an increasingly valuable support and, for many firms, a valued member of the team.

Saving time and money for greater efficiency

The role of a legal team goes beyond providing legal advice. For many businesses, legal departments help form business strategy, in addition to supporting governance and managing risk. Combined with a changing work environment, legal teams need tools that will allow them to work more efficiently, track decisions and access information quickly. While they may not have moved as swiftly as others, legal firms and teams are finally realising the benefits technology can bring.

The impact of technology

Modern legal technology can help with many day-to-day activities. From contract management to compliance tools, teams can process information faster than ever, using collaboration tools to improve visibility across different departments and avoid delays.

Using AI and automation software, teams can save time on repetitive administrative tasks, allowing legal professionals to focus on higher-value work. With 80% of Irish SMBs set to adopt AI within the year, it seems legal teams are embracing a broader shift towards more effective ways of working, where technology supports decision-making rather than simply taking over traditional human roles.

Using eDiscovery to benefit in-house teams

One of the most beneficial areas of technology for legal teams is eDiscovery for in-house corporate teams. While discovery may have been previously outsourced, this technology helps teams collect, search and review information to produce reports faster than ever before. For in-house teams, this helps provide greater security over data while boosting response times to keep costs low and maintain compliance. Strict data management is crucial for businesses and organisations, and keeping this information in-house can help remove additional layers of risk.

What’s next?

Legal technology will continue to evolve, becoming a valued team member that supports and enhances the work of firms and in-house teams. By focusing on better integration and tools that solve many common legal challenges, tech can become a partner to allow teams to stay agile. Firms must find ways to introduce this technology and embrace it, keeping up the pace with other business areas like marketing, research and accounting.

Technology is no longer just a future consideration for legal teams; it can help shape day-to-day operations and save money and time. Efficiency is key for businesses, and the tools available now, alongside those that may be introduced in the future, can help teams work faster and smarter – saving time and money. Teams that put this technology to good use can discover the opportunities available, enhancing legal expertise and freeing up time to focus on the areas that bring value to the business instead.

Composability: The Key to Solving Telecom’s Agility Crisis

Telecom operators are at a pivotal juncture. Rapidly rising customer expectations, intensifying competition, and the rollout of technologies such as 5G, IoT and edge computing are transforming the industry and creating an urgent need for greater speed and flexibility. Yet, many communications service providers (CSPs) remain constrained by monolithic and rigid Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS), where even minor updates to services, processes or integrations can result in significant cost and delays.

These challenges have become a defining issue for the industry and in the sections that follow, we’ll explore how composable architectures are helping CSPs overcome them and regain agility. This shift toward modular, API-first and loosely coupled BSS/OSS systems is enabling CSPs to innovate rapidly, launch new services at digital speed, and scale efficiently.

TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture (ODA) provides a clear industry blueprint for this shift, defining the modular building blocks and open interfaces needed to replace monolithic BSS/OSS with flexible, composable systems.

Cerillion, with extensive experience in deploying composable BSS/OSS solutions for leading CSPs, provides practical guidance on how operators can modernise their systems without disruptive rip-and-replace projects.

The Agility Challenge

Legacy BSS/OSS platforms were built for a time when service portfolios were predictable and network environments were stable. Today’s telecom realities are far different: rapid service innovation, intense partner ecosystems, regulatory complexity and dynamic enterprise demands. According to TM Forum, up to 72% of 5G revenue growth is dependent on BSS/OSS transformation.

While earlier research (such as TM Forum) suggested that a high proportion of 5G revenue growth depends on OSS/BSS transformation, more recent GSMA Intelligence analysis underlines that the real value of 5G lies in its role in enterprise digital transformation. GSMA projects that mobile technologies – 5G included will drive $11 trillion of economic value by 2030, and reports that around 85% of enterprises regard 5G as critical to their digital transformation strategies.

As part of this evolution, ODA sets out a standardised architecture that helps CSPs break down legacy complexity by adopting interchangeable components, common data models, and certified Open APIs.

Telecoms industry spending trends underline the urgency: IDC forecasts that the combined telco software solution market will grow from $48.7 billion in 2024 to $60.4 billion in 2029. Such rapid expansion highlights why CSPs recognise that agility isn’t optional but essential for survival.

Composable BSS/OSS and Market Impact

Composable architecture replaces monolithic systems with modular, API-first components that can be developed, deployed and updated independently. This approach allows CSPs to assemble new services, such as an IoT device bundle and partner app, without waiting months for system upgrades.

The principles of composable architecture align directly with ODA, which promotes modular components, well-defined service domains, and open interfaces that can be assembled and evolved independently.

Composable design brings several key advantages. As each module of the system, whether it’s a product catalogue or order management component, evolves independently, businesses can respond more quickly. Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) connect partner services, network functions and business tools, ensuring every element works together seamlessly. This efficiency also allows business users to configure new offers without relying on IT, while cloud-native microservices enable continuous scalability and updates, without disrupting legacy systems.

By building solutions that conform to ODA’s structure, operators ensure greater interoperability across partner ecosystems and avoid the vendor lock-in associated with traditional monolithic platforms.

According to HTF Market Research, the cloud-native telecoms market exceeded USD 10 billion in 2024, reflecting strong adoption of modern, modular architectures. The shift is more than technical; it’s strategic. Composable systems empower business teams, accelerate time-to-market and support legacy coexistence to manage cost and risk. In this context, Cerillion illustrates how legacy platforms can evolve into flexible, interoperable systems that enable rapid innovation without full-scale replacement.

Benefits Beyond Speed

Composable BSS/OSS delivers much more than just faster service rollout, including:

  • Reducing downtime and operational complexity.
  • Allowing business teams to experiment with new pricing, bundles and partnerships more easily.
  • Enabling third-party integration and ecosystem expansion via API-first platforms.
  • Adapting quickly to new business models or multi-brand operations.

Strategic Implications for CSPs

Aligning transformation roadmaps with ODA provides CSPs with a proven framework that reduces integration risk, accelerates onboarding of new partners, and ensures long-term architectural consistency.

Operators considering the composable route should pursue the following strategic actions:

  • Define business drivers and outcomes: Determine the agility and results needed, including faster service launches and ecosystem enablement, before selecting technologies.
  • Adopt an incremental approach: Modernise components gradually instead of pursuing risky full-scale rip-and-replace projects.
  • Promote business-IT collaboration: Enable business teams to configure services while IT ensures operational integrity.
  • Prioritise Open APIs, ODA and partner readiness: Ensure seamless integration with third-party services and ecosystem partners.
  • Measure success with relevant metrics: Track key indicators such as time-to-market, partner onboarding speed and operational efficiency.

Vendors such as Cerillion provide solutions aligned with Open Digital Architecture, API-first design and hybrid deployment that support agile evolution rather than disruption.

Legacy monolithic systems are no longer fit for the dynamic demands of today’s telecom environment. Composable BSS/OSS architecture offers a path to faster launches, empowered business teams and resilient, future-ready ecosystems.

Transformation is complex, but inaction could cost you missed revenue opportunities, slower growth and loss of competitive position. For CSPs, composable BSS/OSS is not optional; it is a strategic imperative. The responsibility of solution providers is to help operators progress, focusing on enhancement rather than constant disruption.

5 Main Reasons Why People Prefer AI Sexting Over Real Partners

Technology has changed how people connect, and intimacy is no exception. More people now turn to AI for private conversations and sexual interactions, often finding comfort in a digital partner that feels easier to manage than a human one. You may wonder why so many choose AI sexting instead of relying on real partners, and the reasons reveal a lot about changing expectations in relationships.

This shift does not mean people no longer value real connection, but it does show how AI fills certain needs that human partners sometimes cannot. From avoiding emotional risks to enjoying constant availability, these digital interactions highlight both convenience and control. As you explore the main reasons behind this trend, you will see how AI reshapes the way intimacy is experienced today.

1.Avoidance of rejection and emotional pain

You may feel safer with sexting AI because it removes the risk of rejection. In real relationships, rejection can cause emotional pain that feels personal and difficult to manage. With an AI partner, you avoid that fear and maintain control over the interaction.

Real partners can sometimes ignore, criticize, or withdraw, which can trigger feelings of exclusion or self-doubt. These responses often hurt more than people expect, and they can affect your mood and confidence. AI chatbots, however, respond consistently and never dismiss you.

Because of this, sexting AI creates a space where you can explore intimacy without the pressure of judgment. The interaction stays private and predictable, which helps you feel more secure. You decide how the conversation unfolds, and the AI adapts to your needs.

For many, this makes sexting AI appealing as a way to enjoy sexual expression while avoiding emotional risks tied to human rejection. It offers comfort, especially if past experiences with rejection still feel painful.

2.Consistent availability without scheduling conflicts

You never have to wait for an AI partner to be free. Unlike real people, there are no work hours, social plans, or time zones to manage. This constant access makes it easy to start a conversation whenever you feel the need.

With an AI, you avoid the stress of matching schedules or negotiating time together. The interaction happens on your terms, which can feel more convenient than coordinating with a partner who has other responsibilities.

This availability also removes the pressure of interrupting someone’s day. You can engage at any moment without worrying about being a burden or a distraction.

As a result, the experience often feels smoother and more predictable. You gain control over the timing of the interaction, which can create a sense of comfort and stability.

3.Safe space for exploring fantasies without judgment

AI sexting gives you a private space where you can express fantasies without fear of embarrassment. You do not have to worry about how another person might react, which can make it easier to share thoughts you might normally keep hidden.

This sense of freedom allows you to explore ideas that may not match what you want in real life. Fantasies often serve as a mental outlet rather than a direct reflection of your actual desires.

Because there is no risk of judgment, you can test boundaries and notice what feels exciting or comfortable. This can help you better understand your preferences in a safe and controlled way.

In addition, AI does not pressure you or dismiss your thoughts. Instead, it provides a consistent response that lets you focus on curiosity rather than fear of rejection. This makes the experience feel more open and less stressful.

4.AI’s ability to remember and reference past interactions

You may notice that AI partners can recall details from earlier chats. This memory allows the system to bring up past conversations, preferences, or topics you mentioned before. As a result, your interactions feel more personal and less repetitive.

Unlike casual exchanges with strangers, the AI can keep track of your likes and dislikes. It can reference things you said in a previous session, which makes the dialogue feel smoother and more connected. This gives you a sense of being understood without needing to repeat yourself.

In addition, memory helps the AI maintain context across multiple conversations. Instead of starting fresh each time, it can build on what you already shared. This continuity makes discussions flow naturally and creates a stronger sense of familiarity.

Because the AI remembers details, you can explore ongoing themes or fantasies without interruption. This consistency creates a space that feels stable and tailored to your interests, which many people find appealing compared to starting over with a new partner.

5.Lack of pressure or expectation for physical intimacy

You may feel that real relationships often carry unspoken expectations about physical closeness. This can create stress if your mood, health, or energy does not match your partner’s needs. AI interaction removes that pressure, which allows you to engage without fear of disappointing anyone.

In many relationships, physical intimacy can decline due to stress, health issues, or emotional distance. These factors sometimes lead to conflict or feelings of guilt. With AI, you avoid those tensions because no one demands physical affection or sexual activity.

This freedom can make the experience feel safer and more comfortable. You control the pace, the tone, and the level of interaction. As a result, you focus on communication and fantasy without the weight of real-world obligations.

For some people, this lack of expectation creates a sense of relief. It allows you to explore desires privately while avoiding the common challenges that often come with physical intimacy in human relationships.

Conclusion

You now understand that people turn to AI sexting for reasons tied to privacy, safety, and convenience. It removes the fear of rejection and gives you a space without judgment.

You also see that it can feel easier than navigating real relationships, which often involve conflict and compromise. At the same time, it may create distance from real human connections.

By weighing these points, you can better decide how this trend fits into your own view of intimacy and relationships.

Participation has nearly doubled since 2021, reflecting the growing appetite for esports at third-level institutions and cementing the Series as a key part of the student experience in Ireland.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Red Bull as a partner of the Ireland Esports Collegiate Series,” said Kurt Pittman, Founder of Nativz Gaming. “This is a massively exciting moment for Irish esports. Red Bull’s commitment to collegiate gaming is second to none, and their involvement in our Series will take the experience for students and fans to an entirely new level. With their backing, the 2025/26 season is set to be the biggest and best yet.”

The Ireland Esports Leagues encompass schools, universities and companies, with the Collegiate Series as its flagship student competition. Together, these leagues provide a pathway for young people to connect through esports, develop valuable skills and progress toward careers in gaming, technology and beyond.

IFA Exclusive mobility partnerships for 2025 #IFA2025

IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for home and consumer tech, announces its official mobility partners for 2025: Bolt, Lime, Voi, Free2move and BVG Club. Visitors and exhibitors at IFA will benefit from exclusive discounts and flexible offers for a smooth and sustainable stay.
