Twelve South launches Suitcase: A stylish, protective case for Macbooks. #Macbooks #TwelveSouth

Twelve South, a leading designer of Apple accessories, today introduces the SuitCase for MacBook, an all-new laptop case that combines a stylish, quilted signature diamond pattern exterior with a thermoform shell to securely hold and protect the MacBook inside. Available now with prices starting at £69.99 from Amazon.co.uk, SuitCase has been designed for the 13-inch MacBook Pro/Air and the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Providing maximum protection for MacBook, the SuitCase is a handsome hard case enveloped in a premium water-resistant twill. Beneath its cool grey textile covering is a layer of hard plastic to protect the MacBook from impacts and scratches. The interior is lined with soft microfiber to further protect the MacBook from surface scratches. Dual wetsuit-style zippers keep the SuitCase securely closed but also allow for the MacBook to be easily and safely charged whilst still inside the case.

With a slim design and a recessing leather handle, the SuitCase will fit comfortably into a workbag or backpack. Alternatively, if users would rather travel light with just a few papers and a Lightning cable, a handy slim pocket hidden inside the case can hold notes, cables and other essentials. The business casual SuitCase is smart enough for the boardroom and important meetings, making it the perfect MacBook case for everyday life.

If working at a favourite coffee shop or hot desking, users can work on their MacBook without removing it from the SuitCase, again helping to keep it in pristine condition. Twelve South’s innovative suspension system holds the SuitCase securely against the MacBook without interfering with its display.

SuitCase for MacBook is available now starting at £69.99 at Amazon.co.uk.

Twelve South launches BookBook for Kindle Paperwhite. #BookBook #TwelveSouth #KindlePaperWhite

Twelve South today introduces the BookBook for Kindle Paperwhite, a vintage-inspired one-of-a-kind case designed to protect Amazon’s latest e-reader. Enhancing the joy of reading, BookBook transforms the Kindle Paperwhite into what looks and feels like an elegant leather-bound hardcover book.

Made from hand-distressed, genuine leather which is different and unique on every BookBook, this case not only protects the Kindle Paperwhite, it disguises it, making it less tempting to thieves. The hardback cover, reinforced corners and rigid spine shields the Kindle Paperwhite from drops as well as dings and scratches caused by keys and other sharp objects in a purse or backpack. A soft interior lining keeps the Kindle Paperwhite free from marks with dual zippers ensuring the covers stay firmly closed while still allowing users to charge the device inside.

Making the BookBook case even more novel is the integrated folding kickstand that props up the Kindle Paperwhite for hands-free reading, perfect for those bookworms who want to finish a chapter over breakfast or lunch. The BookBook for Kindle Paperwhite also opens and closes just like a book to wake your Kindle or put it to sleep. Whether users are reading the latest news on their way to work or immersed in a best-selling thriller by the pool while on holiday, the BookBook for Kindle Paperwhite is a must-have for those who want to protect their personal library.

“Every Mac friend I know has a Kindle for ‘reading-only’ time. Me too!” said Andrew Green, Co-founder of Twelve South. “Our new BookBook for Kindle Paperwhite gives our customers a vintage case that adds tons of personality and protection. There are plenty of plain cases for Kindle – now customers can have a case for their Kindle as interesting as the stories inside.”

The Twelve South BookBook is compatible with the Kindle Paperwhite 10th generation. It is available now for £49.99 at Amazon.co.uk and is part of the BookBook collection of cases which includes BookBook for iPhone, iPad and MacBook.

Twelve South introduces the Curve SE notebook stand.. #MacBook #TwelveSouth #Tech #Apple

Twelve South today introduces the Curve SE notebook stand in matte white. The ultimate partnership of style and functionality, not only does it perfectly match clean modern office spaces and the aesthetics of many Apple accessories such as the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard, it also has an improved ergonomic design. With the Curve SE, users no longer have to hunch over and tilt their head downwards towards a screen, they can easily elevate their MacBook to a healthier, more comfortable height, relieving neck and shoulder strain in the process.

Offering multiple uses, the Curve SE can be paired with a full-sized keyboard and mouse for a convenient desktop setup or used with a monitor for dual screen functionality. Its minimal design uses a single piece of aluminum which allows for 70% of the base to be exposed for optimal cooling. Anti-slip silicone pads and bent arms keep the laptop in place and prevent scratches.

Andrew Green, founder & designer at Twelve South comments; “While others may chase the latest colour of MacBook, we continue to look for better ways to integrate your work tools into your work space. Desktop accessories – especially MacBook stands – are inherently home decor. They should match your room, your style, your desk and complement (not copy) your MacBook. Our latest solution, while deceptively simple, is a beautiful matte white MacBook stand we call Curve SE.”

The Twelve South Curve SE is available now for £49.99 at Amazon.co.uk. It’s also available in black.

Yes! As you can see from the capture above, the Microsoft Store is offering up to $650 for your old laptop.

Obviously the offering may vary depending on the state of your product, the closer you get to pristine condition (with box and original kits), the higher the discount.

The promo code will be valid until December 15, 2016 and the offers started yesterday October 27, 2016 at 12:00PM PST and will go all the way to November 7, 2016, 11:59PM PST.

This is a great offering considering that outdated processor in some old MacBooks, but the decision is yours.
