Tech Review – Gravastar Sirius P5 combo earbuds

The Gravastar Sirius P5 have been a hit at home here with family and friends with how the package was presented and also the ability to change the skins which is a first and for me it is also a welcome option and other manufacturers should take note, we can change our phone cases anytime with options galore but why not with our earbuds and I do not mean by a skin or case I mean included in the package you buy. If you missed the unboxing see it here.

Ok so there is no app here again which is fine but I feel like one could come along soon from the company to ad some more to their already great line-up of products that also sound good but do these pass the test on sound like previous models? In short yes the are well balanced decently loud and more, highs lows and mids are fine, direction is great nice bass and overall the right balance has been made again with these earbuds and for me will be fine for anyone who is not an audiophile, having said that they are a cut above the rest for this price too and for gaming movies and YouTube music etc they done a great job for me with the 12 mm drivers inside, not only that battery life is great and the light that you can see through the case is also a battery indicator to give you an idea of when to recharge them, the battery life is also good here getting 7.5 hour mark for me on max volume. The controls are the same as before here and easy to use and again we demo this in the video review below.

An important feature to note here is they have got multipoint connection which is often left out on earbuds three times the price of these which is a great feature which makes them ideal for people who like to use either a PC or phone for example.

Overall here you are getting value for money something different and a product that sounds good too and most of all looks good so for aesthetics here shining through the sound is not cheap dull or boring and punchy and again these  make an ideal gift for yourself of the sci-fi lover in your life. GravaStar Launches New Open Ear Bluetooth Earbuds with Sci-Fi Inspired Interchangeable Cases

GravaStar, creators of one-of-a-kind sci-fi inspired hi-fi audio products, has announced the launch of Sirius P5, earbuds and cases that combine hyper-modern creativity, functionality and customization with mecha-inspired designs. The lightweight open ear Sirius P5 features 12mm dynamic drivers and Qualcomm aptX high-definition to deliver powerful bass and clear, industry-leading stereo sound quality. The first to offer interchangeable cases, Sirius P5 will have three unique, sci-fi inspired industrial designs available at launch: Defense Armor, Defense Mecha and Defense Crystal, with more styles on the way.

Sirius P5 and its custom cases give a nod to nostalgic, classic sci-fi culture while also being inspired by modern industrial design. Made from either zinc alloy or Lego-like material prized for strength and rigidity, each interchangeable case protects Sirius P5 from drops and scratches, while also standing out for its unique, futuristic design. Users are able to purchase different cases and switch them up for style variation, without needing to purchase a new set of earbuds. Four RGB lights on the left side of Sirius P5 can be customized with changing colors for additional personalization. Each charging case holds four extra charges, combining with an eight hour battery life on the earbuds to deliver 40 hours of total playtime.

“Our audio products take inspiration from sci-fi and cyberpunk characteristics, each one having a collectible element to it,” said Yong Huang, GravaStar founder and industrial designer. “Sirius P5 is unique in that we took inspiration from the iconic retro lighters that allow users to collect and change their cases while adding protection. We’ll continue to release new designs so people can have fun expressing their style while vibing to their music.”

Built with the latest Qualcomm 3046 chip and featuring Bluetooth 5.2, Sirius P5 boasts a fast and stable connection. The 12mm drivers are able to cover a wide range of frequencies while delivering powerful, deep bass at a high volume using less power. Qualcomm aptX high definition delivers high resolution audio over Bluetooth with clear, industry-leading stereo sound and no interference.

Just as a mecha robot is controlled easily by the person who operates it in the sci-fi world, Sirius P5 combines futuristic design with easy to use features like smart touch controls to switch between calls and music, control volume, change tracks, pause / play, activate Siri, and more. Each earbud weighs only five grams and fits snugly inside the ear with Environment Noise Canceling to block out any external noise for a superior, stable audio experience in any situation. Sound is tailored to activity, with 48ms low latency for Gaming Mode to pinpoint movements and clear, natural vocals with concert acoustics in Music Mode. An IPX4 water-resistant rating makes Sirius P5 ideal for outdoor and athletic pursuits, while an included necklace can be attached to the earbuds to ensure they are never lost in any activity.

Tech Review – Gravastar Sirius Zinc Alloy Gaming Earbuds

I am becoming a huge fan of Gravastar having tested some of their products and we have tested several bluetooth speakers and a pair of earbuds before which where the Sirius Pro Gaming Earbuds and they were great with a unique design and super cool case and excellent packaging to boot. Do check out that review here.

So when these arrived at the price they are I said to myself this is where they must fall at this price point and much to my surprise no they didn’t in fact the exceeded my expectations coming in under 100 euro and with what you get with the package.

Once again presented in a case with a pouch and chain we are off to a good start but then the case that hold the earbuds is not made with plastic it is again zinc alloy and really cool looking earbuds to go with it and you just have to wonder how they could deliver such a cool product for the price they are, there is no app and no wireless charging but the rest is there and if you want looks and great sound on a budget well these are for you.

So the sound it is then we go on to talk about, having no app made me think for this price they would sound woeful but no, there is three modes to pick from which changes the game here and they work really well and if you are into your gaming you will like these, no matter which audio profile you pick you will not be disappointed by how they sound overall, you have three modes which are gaming mode , movie mode and music mode and there is a notable difference between them which is a good thing unlike others that offer the same profiles. There is no ANC here but ENC but overall once the volume is turned up forget about what is around you. You have 7.2mm dynamic drivers and no lag latency noted during my time testing and calls are fine  both ends.

Gaming Mode Pinpoint the direction of your enemy’s footsteps with 5.1 virtual surround sound.

Movie Mode Get a full cinematic experience with HD surround sound and be right in the middle of the action.

Music Mode Feel like you’re at the front row at a concert with clear, natural vocals and a deep bass you can feel through your entire body.

So as seen above this is what to expect and not just a statement to make them look good they are good and no matter which setting you choose you will find out for yourself the audio quality is excellent, as said in the video review below the cost to performance has come along way now with earbuds and in this case with the quality materials used you are onto a winner with these.

Tech Review – Gravastar Venus Wireless speaker

Gravastar is a brand that gives us superior tech goods not made with cheap plastics and recently we reviewed their other speaker which is several times the size of this on the Gravastar Mars Pro but don’t let that think this one which is much smaller does not pack a punch.

Once again built with zinc alloy this one again is one to have sat in your living room or bedside locker for show as well as audio and it also has and RGB ring on the front which makes it stand out, the colours can be changed too and you have go physical buttons up top which controls all the functions on this cool little gadget. It is that small it can be portable too if you wish to bring it on your travels.

Venus, a smart and dexterous warrior of GravaStar, full of passion and energy. He fights together in a troop, coordinating and striking enemies down as one.

There is rubber footing underneath the three feet that keep it stable and it will not move anyway due to the build quality and weight unlike speakers traditionally housed in plastic or wood. There is just a cool futuristic design here overall and really a nice piece to have.

When it comes to sound again this packs a punch for its size you will see below in the video review just how loud it gets and how it functions so check out the video below for a real hands on look. highs lows and mids are fine nice bass and overall a great audio experience to be had here whilst looking really cool.

Tech Review – GravaStar Mars Pro bluetooth speaker

Here on techbuzz we review lots of speakers that come in all shapes and sizes however the theme is pretty much the same which is just a standard square or circular type speaker just plain run of the mill stuff, this speaker however is different and by that I mean the design the shape the build quality and there is some RGB lights thrown into the mix too and not only that it has legs that change position.

OK the legs changing position may not be a huge plus side but in this case it is due to the theme here and overall the speaker looks super cool even as a piece in your room and to look at it first you may not think anymore of it in fairness but upon closer inspection you will see why this is different and then it will become an attraction if you will.

On top you have a volume control slider with a difference too as it uses touch to control it and then three physical buttons to power on/off in which you get a nice audio tune to go along with both which sounds cool and you have a button for pairing and then one for the RGB lights which are placed around the unit, you will see all this demoed in the review along with the audio

Speaking of audio it is bass heavy which suits me fine as I like my bass to be heavy so for some it may not be their cup of tea but again this can be tweaked with EQs on phones today. It does easily cover a large room and sounds cool and it is loud and punchy too so far any music fan it is a must.

The build quality is also excellent too and as the company states Mars Pro’s cutting-edge technology means you can feel the heavy bass at both low and loud volumes. The Bluetooth speaker gives you an ultra-powerful bass that sends vibrations through its sphere and into the room.

They also say – The GravaStar Mars Pro is created for audiophiles. The Bluetooth speaker has built-in, exclusive DSP audio algorithms that gives you a deep bass, accurate mids, and crisp highs. Combined with an equal-loudness contour, you get a powerful sound experience

If that is not enough check out the video review below and check out the range that is on offer which comes in several cool colours too.

Tech Review – GravaStar Sirius Pro Gaming Earbuds

Next in from Gravastar is the Sirius Pro Earbuds which look great and come in a really cool case that looks like a fancy lighter but in fact can be used as a bottle opener but the thing here is that is is made of metal and not plastic like most earbud cases are and the thing is then what people asked how do they sound after all having a good look? Does aesthetics win over the audio experience? Let’s find out..

First of all the design is quite nice and they fit well in the ears, they might be hard to get out of their case sometimes but this is the only thing I could say bad on them, there is no app either which is fine in this instance because they are quite good and impressed me, the earbud is on the larger than average size too so keep that in mind and they are built quite well.. To top this off you get RGB lights built into the case which is a new one for me and it looks great.

Featuring Knowles balanced armatures, the Sirius Pro wireless earbuds deliver an incredible, well-rounded sound. They are built on GravaStar’s exclusive DSP audio algorithms and offer an immersive, crisp experience through Bluetooth 5.2 True Wireless Stereo. They have in-ear detection, 65ms latency, and give you a balanced punchy bass and 3D surround sound with custom modes for music, gaming, and movies

Once fitted they give a decent seal from the outside world too and may protrude on some people’s ears as always everyone’s ears differ just like our hearing too. For me they where fine and did not fall out and felt fine during the test period and did not feel any pressure when changing tracks etc.

GravaStar gaming earbuds – techbuzzireland

When it comes to sound they deliver too, loud and punchy with bass, highs lows and mids are fine too and overall a great audio experience and there is three modes here to pick from.

Movie mode is my personal favourite here and if you are a gamer you will also be delighted with the audio experience and then for the music fan which I am I just found movie mode the best choice for me you will also enjoy the audio experience here in conclusion did aesthetics take away from the audio experience, well the answer is simply NO. Check the video below for more.
