The Google Pixex Buds 2a are the latest addition to the Pixel line up and a welcome addtion coming in at an affordable price bringing ANC on board which is actually great you will see this the minute you put them on, well I did in my case anyway and on first setting up you will be prompted to do an update.
Before moving on you should look through the app and check the seal is correct and you have the right tips in for the best experience. There is a simple seal test to take and should be done it takes seconds.
The 2a adopts a compact, lightweight design that closely mirrors the higher-end Pro model, making them noticeably smaller than their A-Series predecessors. The highlight of the physical design is the twist-to-adjust stabilizer, a small, semi-circular fin that secures the bud in the outer ear, offering both all-day comfort and a secure fit for exercise.
They boast an IP54 rating for the earbuds (sweat and water resistant) and an IPX4 rating for the case, making them durable companions for daily commutes and workouts. The pebble-shaped charging case is small and pocketable, though it now charges exclusively via USB-C, dropping the wireless charging feature found in previous premium models.
There is also a replaceable battery in the charging case, a fantastic move toward repairability and extending the product’s lifespan.
The Pixel Buds 2a are powered by the Google Tensor A1 chip and feature a custom-designed 11mm dynamic speaker drivers. The audio profile is generally clear and well-balanced, with a satisfying, punchy bass response that doesn’t overwhelm the mids or highs. Users can fine-tune the sound signature using the five-band equalizer in the Pixel Buds app. There is no tinny sound either when maxed out on volume or lag latency notice during my testing and calls clear.
The inclusion of Spatial Audio is a win for immersion, though it only works on newer Pixel devices and does not support the head-tracking feature of the Pro model but still work well after my testing.
For the first time in the A-series line, the 2a includes Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5. This feature is surprisingly capable for a mid-range bud, effectively drowning out low-frequency rumbles like vehilces and airplane noise.
Transparency Mode also performs well, letting in environmental noise naturally for situational awareness this ideal for those who commute of for those who jog or walk late at night or early mornings in the dark.
Smarts
Gemini AI: They offer hands-free access to Gemini (Google’s AI assistant) by simply saying “Hey Google” or using a press-and-hold gesture. This integrates deeply with your phone for real-time information retrieval, directions, and more.
Connectivity:Bluetooth Multipoint allows connection to two devices simultaneously, and Audio Switch handles seamless transitions between compatible Pixel devices (phone, watch, tablet) based on what you are listening to.
Clear Calling: Google’s AI-powered call technology, enhanced by wind-blocking mesh, delivers clear voice pickup, even in noisy outdoor environments.
Overall for the money here you cant go wrong and if you are into a ecosystem of products and you have a pixel device like the watch and phone you will love them and how seamlessy everything works.

Today, Google is rolling out AI Mode, Google’s most powerful AI search experience, in Ireland. AI Mode has more advanced reasoning and multimodality, and the ability to go deeper through follow-up questions and helpful links to the web. As autumn arrives and people begin to turn to warmer clothes, Google Search Trends data shows that ‘How to style a big cardigan’ is the most searched ‘How to style’ question in Ireland in the last 30 days. For those looking for styling help, AI mode can act as a personal stylist and help with styling ideas including showing different outfits that incorporate a large cardigan. Coffee lovers can ask questions like, ‘I’m looking to understand different coffee brewing methods. Make a table comparing the differences in taste, ease of use and equipment needed.’ And even follow up with: ‘what’s the best grind size for each method’.
As Google continues to evolve the Search experience with AI capabilities, the focus remains on helping people access information and perspectives from a diverse range of sources. For example, with AI Overviews, people have been visiting a greater diversity of websites for help with more complex questions. And when people click from search result pages with AI Overviews, these clicks are higher quality for websites — meaning users are more likely to spend more time on the sites they visit.
AI Mode is rooted in Google’s core quality and ranking systems, and novel approaches are being used to improve factuality. The Google Pixel 10 Pro is one of their latest slew of devices on the market today and probably the best choice out of the lot though I yet to try the fold which some see as overpriced.
Regardless of that I have a Pixel phone as one of my daily drivers all year round coupled with the watch the earbuds and many other items at home and works a great ecosystem. AI though I think is where the Pixel 10 Pro shines this year with lots of extras on board alongside good cameras a UI experience and overall a smooth phone to use even for heavy multitaskers like me.
AI is a word we cant get away from these days however this is good and bad depending on how you use it and for photos it is excellent and with fixing images and giving you the best result and as they say the best camera you have is the one in your pocket.

Design and Display
The Pixel 10 Pro has a similar design language to its predecessor, featuring the distinctive visor camera bar on the back. It’s polisheded finish with spacecraft-grade aluminum frame and a silky matte glass back, all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Buttons are tactile it does not rock on the table when flat like most phones today with big humps.
The Pixel 10 Pro has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate that can go from 1Hz all the way up to 120Hz. The peak brightness is said to reach an impressive 3300 nits, which would make it one of the brightest displays on the market, ensuring excellent visibility even in direct sunlight.
Performance and AI
The biggest change under the hood is the new Tensor G5 chip which is major upgrade over the Tensor G4, promising faster CPU and GPU performance, which runs a bit more smoother, more responsive user experience for everything from everyday tasks to mobile gaming and as a poweruser of phones I seen no issues to date with what I do.
The Tensor G5 powers the next-level AI features on which this phone is more or less selling point is enabling new features like “Magic Cue,” which proactively offers relevant information based on your apps and usage and also allows you to edit photos by telling the phone to do so.
Camera System
The Pixel 10 Pro camera array consists a 50MP wide lens, a 48MP ultrawide with Macro Focus, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The combination of hardware and the Tensor G5’s new Image Signal Processor (ISP) the suite of tools also on the Pixel 10 Prio is plenty for editing but check out the image and video gallery below for more and you deciide I found it much better this time round especially with night photography and video.
Overall the new Pixel 10 is a powerful tool for those wanting to engage in AI more and for me not a huge fan of the AI buzzword but it has me trying new things using the AI the cameras are great and overall I am impressed with what I have here and it will be staying put as my daily driver until the next model drops which I look forward too.

AI has taken on a central role in a lot of the things we’re doing. But can it really work as well as we think? The answer is yes it can, for AI can autogenerate parts of, or in fact whole games in real time. Of course, the output is still not as complex or of as high quality as those created in a studio over time, but the results are still there. So what can AI generate and how successful is it?
No code game creation
To kick things off, back in 2024, generative AI was used to recreate the game, Doom. However, it used none of the code or graphics from the game. Impressively, the Doom game recreated by the AI is completely playable, with researchers who tested this saying that other AI models could also be used to create games from scratch down the line. The model responsible for the recreated Doom game, GameNGen, was created at Google Research to see if it could. The game can only be played for 20 seconds, but it has all the same features as the original including scores, ammunition levels and map layouts. The illusion falls apart quickly though, as the AI runs out of memory. However, the way this worked is that the initial model was tasked to play the game over and over, while a second one simply replicated it, learning how millions of inputs caused changes in the game. This also didn’t happen in real-time, but over time, so what can AI models do now?
Using AI in the game development process
AI is also being used during game development. This is increasingly for all game types from major video games like The Witcher 3 or Elden Ring, to slots that you can find on the top online casino in UK. Now, instead of just tweaking code or minor basic background tasks, AI is creating the backgrounds, and not only that, it’s writing reactive dialogue for NPCs, changing gameplay within the game as you play and more. In fact, AI is changing the game quite literally, streamlining the gaming process in many different creative ways, reducing game crunch time and reducing massive teams to smaller, more focused ones. At this point, AI is taking on a lot of the heavy lifting associated with game creation, so its no surprise to find that some models can now do this in real time.
Real-time game generation
For some models, it’s now possible to simply input a description or concept art for the game, and the AI will create it. These are the games that, while they do work, often show the lack of finesse in the creation process. Yes, the model can do it, but the games lack quality, depth and complexity. As such, it’s still clear that more time is needed to make a good game, rather than doing it on the fly. However, the possibilities are most definitely there.
This is noticeable in other aspects of AI game generation. For example, many companies are switching to AI powered platforms to automate game development tasks. While this isn’t game creation per se, it does mean that AI is changing a game in real-time as it’s being played. This helps to improve the gaming experience and is already in place across a wide array of different games. There are experimental projects in the works too, such as those from Google’s Arts and Culture lab to explore AI’s potential in game development. And then there are things like Oasis, a sandbox similar to Minecraft that showcases just how well AI can build a game from nothing.
So, while the games aren’t great yet, it is entirely possible for AI to create playable games in real-time.
