Luxury Exchange, an Irish start-up owned by Caitriona McGettigan and Cillian Moloney, recorded €1M in turnover last year and is on track to achieve €4M in turnover in 2025. Luxury Exchange is a curated collection of pre-loved designer handbags, clothing, and accessories; all at incredible value. The business started when Caitriona, an avid fashion lover, saw a gap in the market for the resale of luxury items in a more affordable way.
The community focused strategy that has been employed by the young couple and business partners has seen the business build a hugely loyal online customer base. To date Luxury Exchange has maximised the Instagram broadcast channel to sell to customers with a fresh, community focused approach.
The owners of Luxury Exchange saw an opportunity to disrupt the luxury resale market in Ireland. The online, socially driven model has allowed the business to sell preloved items for between 10-20% less than the market average, attracting a slew of loyal customers.
For the first time ever, and as a natural step in growth and business progression, Luxury Exchange will be holding its first in-person pop-up. The Cork based business will pop-up in the capital from May 22nd to May 25th 2025. A curated collection will be on offer for new and loyal customers alike at Studio 10 on Dublin’s Wicklow Street for four days, as demand is expected to be high.
Luxury Exchange resells luxury designer goods from well-known brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior and more. All the preloved items are authenticated with leading software, Entrupy. In the past year alone, Luxury Exchange has substantially grown. For example in March 2024, they brand secured approximately 30,000 impressions on Instagram vs 3M in 2025. Customer satisfaction and quality of offering is evident by the business’s repeat customer rate of 88%.
Caitriona McGettigan, Founder of Luxury Exchange, says “I started Luxury Exchange having noticed a growing appetite from customers to resell luxury goods. I’ve always had a love for luxury fashion, especially when it came at a great deal. The concept of resale always appealed to me. I noticed a pattern during my time as a visual merchandiser for Zadig & Voltaire. So many customers would tell me they felt guilty buying something new when they already had beautiful pieces at home they hadn’t worn or had only worn once, but felt they were too valuable to simply give away. I remember thinking that I’d love to buy those pieces from them. In many ways, I was my own first customer.
Our approach has given us the opportunity to create friendly luxury, in every sense. Our items are more affordable and we sell to our community of customers directly, often through live broadcasts on social platforms. Everything about Luxury Exchange is personal. We are building lasting relationships with customers and that is a testament to the growth we have experienced.”
Cillian Moloney, Co-Founder & Director of Luxury Exchange, says “My background is in business development and sales leadership, which has been beneficial to the growth of Luxury Exchange. The business started as a hobby for Caitriona during the pandemic, but it was clear to see early on that demand was high. Our consummate customer service is a huge part of the success to date as we have built up a community of shoppers that appreciate the offering and our approach to convenient, trusted commerce. The Luxury Exchange edit is carefully curated to meet the needs of our customers.
Taking something that started as a lockdown hobby and growing it to a business with global appeal has been incredible. To date we have sold to customers in over 30 countries. We’re excited to meet our customers in person for the first time at the pop-up and maintain the growth trajectory of Luxury Exchange by continuing to maximise digital tools and offering unparalleled value and service.”
The instax WIDE Evo Hybrid Camera has been the latest camera I have been testing over the last few weeks and as always with instax it is a step back in time but current and if you are a fan of all things nostalgia you know the drill with these cameras we have been reviewing for some years now.
This camera again is bug but so what, might not be ideal to put in your bag but doable for some if you are one to take photos when out with your friends and family it is a talking point when taken out so and people do not realise instant photos can still be done like rather than take one on your phone have this camera at hand and get your photo there and then.
There is lots going on with the WIDE Evo hybrid when it comes to features and several buttons to mess around with for me an overkill I am a point and shoot but having played around with this I can see why these features are there and again I am not one to edit photos once taken either but there is features galore all listed below and the editing options at hand.
With the big screen you see more and you also have wide angle shooting with this camera it is pretty cool all the options here and the array of buttons to play around with is a photographers dream. You have your focus lens, You have ten lens effects and ten film effects to begin with the dial on both sides you can scroll through them all we demo all this in the video review and also some of this in the unboxing video
There is a button up top for film style too with cool effects and then you have the lens to chose effects that suit you then you move down to the navi key and other buttons under the LCD display for more options and of course in image editing options, there is so much here to do for the real photography enthusiast. You have a dedicated shutter key this time it is not a button but a lever I would call it and below is the wide angle switch and you can notice the difference here unlike you can even on some phones today. You get your power on/off dial too this time rather than a button.
The stand out feature probably is the print crank which takes you back to days of old here and again people were somewhat looking at me funny when I took it out one night explaining to them how this works and what these cameras do.
You can add a micro SD card if you want and again print images from this and connect to the app if you wish and of course connect to their printers which is also cool. as for the image quality it is decent you can load them on to your laptop if you like and scroll through them there or the screen on the camera itself you have the best of both worlds here you can also connect to your phone and share.

Selfies, Storage, and More
WIDE Evo also features a 3.5-inch LCD Monitor on the back of the camera to allow users to view added effects and edits and is supported by a built-in Lithium-ion battery which enables the camera to print up to 100 images per charge, depending on the specific use case. A Micro SD card slot (Micro SD Card sold separately) ensures there’s plenty of room to store additional images for later enjoyment (approximately 45 images can be stored in the camera’s internal memory), while the Selfie Mirror helps users nail selfies every time.
Film Styles
Exercise your creative control with five film styles (plus standard output). From cinematic to date stamp to film strip, each one delivers a unique analog-like effect burnt into the image to set your pictures apart.

Degree Control Dial
Satisfy your vision with the Degree Control Dial. Simply twist the lens to play with your chosen lens effects, creating subtle or dramatic images (and everything in between).
Wide-angle Lens
The instax WIDE Evo™ expands your view to capture more of the action, as it happens. And by using a single compact lens, whether Wide-angle mode is switched on or off, image quality is truly impressive.
Design Focused
Analog aesthetics
Finished in a modern, yet sophisticated design, and sporting a premium charcoal grey body with jet-black colour accents, this hybrid camera looks as good as it shoots.
Print Crank
Reminiscent of an analog experience, rotate the print crank located on the side of the camera to begin the printing of your latest creations.
Shutter Lever
Press the shutter lever down and feel the satisfying, responsive ‘click’ of the shutter as each photo is taken. Want to ‘lock’ the focus? Half press the lever.
Lens Cap
A premium lens needs a premium lens cap to protect it when not in use. Which is why the instax WIDE Evo™ comes with a handy detachable lens cap.
Wide-angle Switch
Effortlessly switch from wide-angle scenes to intimate moments using the wide-angle switch (handily positioned on the front, so you don’t have to take your eye off the shot).
Easy scrolling
On the left you have the Lens Effect Dial, on the right the Film Effect Dial. Both satisfyingly manual. Both easy to scroll through. Each perfect for turning the ordinary into extraordinary.
Degree Control Dial
Circling the lens you’ll find the Degree Control Dial, a ‘disc’ that your fingers can glide round, helping you change the degree of your shot to discover your exact vision.
Selfie Mirror
Some only see what’s in front of them. Not you. The selfie mirror, positioned on the front of this hybrid camera, lets you capture what’s usually behind the camera… you!
USB-C Charging
Unleash the full potential of the instax WIDE Evo™ by keeping it fully charged. With a USB-Type C port, plugging in for power couldn’t be easier.
LCD Screen
The high-resolution LCD screen on the rear gives you complete accuracy – what you see is what you print – helping you turn your vision into a physical, WIDE-format photo.
Tripod Mount
Fully equipped with a threaded hole, the instax WIDE Evo™ is tripod-ready. Useful for remote shooting, night-time shots or composites that require that extra steady ‘hand’.
Printed images, shared
For safe keeping
Insert a microSD card (sold separately) into the microSD card slot to back up your images – perfect for ultimate peace of mind, and ideal for those who want to ‘carry’ even more photographs.
Prints. From your camera roll
Not all photos are lucky enough to be shot on the instax WIDE Evo™. Which is why this hybrid instant camera also accepts shots from your smartphone, before dutifully printing them.
Inspiration at your fingertips
Explore the Discover Feed tab in-app for a daily boost of inspiration. A place where you can see and download the settings from other users’ images, ready to be used when the shot calls for it.
Social zone
Instantly share your WIDE format images via your smartphone. Pair the instax WIDE Evo™ with your smartphone, save your instax™ photos as digitally framed shots, then post your favourites to your social in a variety of creative templates.
Conclusion
Over this is a really cool camera with lots of features on board and takes decent photos, with the ability to share and print said photos via your phone or compatible printer makes it even more enjoyable to use and is a great talking point when taken out in a crowd.
The BenlyDesign Cyber Watch S3000-C is not a smartwatch but a new watch on the market for those who want something different be it for nights out or just casual wear.
This is by no means light and that is how I like casual watches I own just as many smartwatches as casual watches and a collector so to speak with lots of old casio watches in my collection and some more.
This has an eye catching name and looks with a not to Elon Musk and his Cybertruck for all his fans out there given the current climate but we keep politics off this site and leave it to other tech sites to air their laundry we are here to talk about technology..
The watch has a pusher each side to access all the features on board there is a sensor on board with turns on the time when you raise your wrist, you have the standard features or any other casual watch but this one stands out in the crowd.
On board there is an OLED display you have a stopwatch, timer dual time, alarm 12/24 clock and temperature and date which is plenty for those who want to switch off from the normal which I do at mostly weekends and instead of having notfications on my wrist I have ZERO to wait and respond to.
You get an extra strap inside so two in total one being the metal and one being silicon so you have a choice of what to pick from and you get extra lugs just in case and on special now you get and extra silicon strap free which is cool.

Zyler is a pioneering Virtual Try-On (VTO) company revolutionising the fashion eCommerce experience have launched launched a new solution which offers their flagship VTO product, the Digital Dressing Room, alongside Prime AI’s proven Size Recommendation (SR) tool. This will be an industry game-changer because it offers consumers both emotional, via the VTO, and functional, via the SR, ways to make the right purchase decision.
Fashion eCommerce return rates are scarily high, ranging from 25%, to as much as 60%. (Coresight Research 2023, Statista 2024). This is a significant pain point for everyone involved – from the customer, to brands, to the planet. From our internal research, one third of consumers say that the main reason they want to use VTO is so they don’t need to buy multiple items and sizes and then return unwanted products.
Powered by a proprietary AI and machine vision methodology, Zyler’s VTO product is both intuitive and easy to use. A seductive ‘Try it on’ button is easily implemented onto a brand’s website on its product description or listing page. And for consumers, they need only enter three measurements and upload one profile image before instantly seeing themselves in an entire brand’s collection. More than 75% of consumers describe the tool as ‘fun’ and ‘helpful’ which explains why, on average, they try on more than 60 products each time they visit a brand website.
Zyler developed this integrated solution because when they asked fashion customers what frustrated them most about online shopping, more than half complained about the difficulty of choosing the right size.
“We are excited to unveil Zyler’s new 2-in-1 solution, which combines our Virtual Try-On with Prime AI’s Size Recommendation technology,” said Alexander Berend, CEO of Zyler. “It resolves two of the biggest challenges in fashion eCommerce — finding the right fit and making online shopping engaging and personalized. By allowing customers to try on apparel and receive accurate size recommendations virtually, we are enhancing the shopping process, helping to reduce returns and increase customer satisfaction. This launch marks a major step forward in how consumers interact with fashion online, making shopping more fun, immersive, and efficient.”
The size recommendation feature is powered by Prime AI, who were chosen as a partner due to their proven track record and the accuracy of their technology. “We are thrilled to partner with Zyler to accelerate the modernisation of the fashion retail industry using Artificial Intelligence technologies that evolve alongside the demands of online shoppers and retailers”, said Martynas Ragelis, Co-Founding Partner of Prime AI. “By providing sizing recommendations powered by our proprietary neural networks, we will help Zyler’s clients serve their customers better and enhance the overall shopping experience.”
The intelligent tool benefits both brands and consumers. Brands report boosted engagement and conversion rates of up to 18% and returns can be reduced by up to 26%. Also, Statista (2024) reports that less than 15% of European fashion consumers have experienced VTO, which means adding it as a service could deliver considerable competitive advantage.
For consumers, Zyler’s software offers a convenient, immersive and personalised shopping experience. 90% of users say that being able to try on many products instantly is of most value to them. Therefore it is the perfect tool for product discovery as it gives consumers a reason to return again and again to a brand’s website.
An open demo of the 2-in-1 tool can be experienced on Zyler’s site here.
Most of my followers know I am an avid trainer collector as well as a phone collector and I do not review shoes at all but the Nike Air 180 (2024) deserve to be mentioned here as there is lots of tech involved this shoe as was back in 1991 designed by Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgroe when they first came out. We have Leon Witherow and his team to thank for the all new version.
For me this was the ultimate training shoe back in the day but was re released back in 2018 when I had all colourways and cost me a small fortune not only that I had the ankle boot and basketball boot versions too and rumor has they are set to return again with this release being long awaited by fans worldwide and they sold out in minutes and I was lucky to get a pair on launch day.
The 2024 edition of the Nike Air 180 was retooled and 3D scanned and Nike had to go back to their archives to get the shoe back to their OG glory unlike the retro models that came out there was some differences with them mainly the Air Bubble unit in the heel which was half the size of the OG unit meaning less cushioned one would think but these shoes had a psi number attached to them. There is also an updated upper shape and an updated 180-degree visible Air unit which from the bottom does not resemble the 1991 model from my recollection.
Nike Air 180 (2024)
Nike Air 180 (2018)
The 2024 version of the shoe is part of their cult classics and as Nike says The Cult Classics Collection is a carefully curated line-up of iconic releases that transcend time and style. Each pair carries a story of cultural significance, whether it’s from the past or in the future.
These are iconic like the Nike Air Max 90 range which today is still a shoe we see time and time again in lots of new designs and colourways.
The Air 180 shoes back then were so comfortable and excellent for running however I did find they are not TTS ( True to Size) so a half size up was a better fit after having many pairs it was the way to go, in fact there is only a handful of Nike shoes that fit the same way for me.
With this release I find them as before they fit well look great and stand out an are really comfortable to wear but the only thing is keeping these clean and over time the yellowing of the Air unit might become an issue but time will tell.
Overall Nike has done a good job keeping it OG but never gave us the little bit and pieces in the box as before but thankfully I still have them at hand. You can see more of my collection on Instagram.
