Creative makes it personal with the launch of the Outlier Air V3. #OutlierAirV3

Creative Technology today announced the release of the Creative Outlier Air V3, the latest addition to its best-selling true wireless in-ear series.  Redesigned with a sleeker and better-fitting form factor, these sweatproof earbuds are lighter, yet feature meatier improvements from its predecessor – including beefier audio quality and battery life, ambient noise control, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, quad microphones and wireless charging. Above all, the Outlier Air V3 comes with the new Creative app, offering users a high level of personalization with its functions.

Creative Outlier Air V3 has upped the true wireless game yet again, and sports a midnight metallic green look to boot.  Bigger Audio, Just the Way You Like It

The Creative Outlier Air V3 has gone big on audio quality improvement, with all-new 6mm bio-cellulose drivers powering audio with detailed highs, well-balanced mids and immersive bass – perfect for keeping users pumped up through their workout routines. This is complemented by the new Ambient Mode and Active Noise Reduction features – through the Creative mobile app, users have full control if they want to be fully immersed in their music, shut out environment noise for important calls, or be more aware of their crowded surroundings when out jogging. The app also features equalizer adjustments so that users can tweak their audio anytime they want.

The touch controls on the earbuds are naturally sensitive to tap commands, which can be customized according to user preferences on the app, so that each Outlier Air V3 is truly the user’s own.

Charging Almost not Needed

Great audio simply means nothing to users if it cannot last long enough. The Creative Outlier Air V3 retains the series hallmark of great battery life, boasting up to 10 hours per charge and 40 hours in total – making it a great companion for that Netflix binge in long commutes, or a music marathon to accompany a lung-busting cycling trip.

The call quality on these earbuds has also been improved, with quad microphones (two on each earbud) enabling better voice pick-up, so that users can fully enjoy long heart-to-heart calls wherever they are.

The wearability of the Outlier Air V3 remains top-notch – these earbuds come with different soft silicone ear tip sizes designed to match varying ear shapes to achieve the optimal seal for maximum comfort. It is also lighter than ever, weighing just 5.2g.

Holographic Audio – Try It!

Creative Outlier Air V3 supports Super X-Fi READY – a free preview version of this technology, which is available through the Creative app.

Users can enjoy Super X-Fi headphone holography, which recreates a multi-speaker system soundstage, on local content inside their phones.

Super X-Fi READY does not support streaming content like YouTube, Spotify etc. For the full experience, users should consider products like SXFI AIR GAMER, SXFI TRIO or other Super X-Fi products.

Pricing and Availability

The Creative Outlier Air V3 is launching at a promotional price of £54.99 and is available at Creative.com.

Tech Review – Tronsmart Onyx Apex ANC earbuds. #Tronsmart #OnyxApex

The Tronsmart Onyx Apex are one of the latest on offer from the company that brings good tech at an affordable price, this is the third pair we have tried out in recent times and again bringing some bang for your book which is great for the consumer in a saturated market, these do come with some caveats albeit small considering the price and they are no wireless charging no auto play/pause and no app they do have a similar sound signature to the Apollo Air and are loud with a nice level of bass thrown in for good measure.

The lack of app support here is what lets them down and akin to the apollo air but it is something you can live without if you just want earbuds that give a good punch for the money and all the controls you need at your fingertips. They have a great seal and easy to use controls which you tap or tap and hold to execute a command which we go through in the video below.

No lag latency was noticed during my usual test loop and they performed well with You Tube Netflix and Music and are loud and I like loud, anyone who is looking for a new pair of earbuds or indeed if it is their first they will be impressed with these at the price you pay and overall you cant complain here..

First look at the Edifier NeoBuds Pro – The First Hi-Res ANC Earbuds. #NeoBudsPro #Edifier

The latest from Edifier has landed and it is the all new NeoBuds Pro which is the latest product from the company which I have been a keen fan of and using their products some years now and they have set a high standard when it comes to sound and quality.

Edifier’s innovative research team conducted hundreds of tests that led to electronic-acoustic technology breakthroughs in the development of the NeoBuds Pro. The earbuds bring premium audio quality traditionally found in speakers and over-ear headphones to a more convenient, compact and wireless package. Its bi-amping with DSP-based active crossover technology ensures the dynamic driver and the armature driver are working in tandem to provide users with premium sound quality, deep bass, and crisp treble frequencies all with truly unique technological advancements.

A higher, more accurate sampling frequency, leading to higher sound quality and truer tones over traditional earphones, earned the Neobuds Pro a Hi-Res certification. The Neobuds Pro supports the LHDC+ACC codec transmitting 96kHz 24Bit HD audio over Bluetooth, to present a full and comprehensive range of sound with the truest, purest tones of each musical note and instrument.

Edifier TWS NB2 vs Edifier NeoBuds Pro techbuzzireland

The Neobuds Pro also has advanced noise-cancelling feature, which outperforms the previous TWS NB2 with deeper, smarter and a more upgraded algorithm. It offers the user a quieter environment to enhance the music listening experience while protecting the users hearing from the outside noise. We compare both of these in the unboxing below so if you have any questions feel free to ask in the usual spots while we take these on a test run…

Tech Review – QuiteOn3 the worlds smallest noise cancelling earbuds to help with sleep #QuiteOn3 #Sleep #Tech

I have tested many earbuds over the years and seen how well the tech has got better in them and how they have gotten smaller in size and getting better features but these have to be the smallest earbuds fullstop nothing comes close to the size of them in my collection but these are not for your music experience they are to help block out the outside world when you need to get some sleep or even peace for that matter and they are half the size of the QuiteOn2, you can see both in the unboxing below for more and if this is the shape of things to come would you like your earbuds this size in general??

These are small no doubt about it and it is great to see how these have changed from their previous iteration and they do just as good a job you do not need any apps you do not listen to music with these it must be made clear you just take them out of the really fancy case they come in and pick the right tips and let them sit in your ears for 15 mins and they get the perfect seal.

Once in you can sit or lie back and forget about what is going on outside because you will not hear it and get along with you sleep or peace and that is how simple this is and how they work, the previous model you had an on/off switch which is gone this time which I liked and was good for testing but this is where some room wa smade to get these to the size they are now which is something else..

QuiteOn2 vs QuiteOn3 techbuzzireland

Some of the most common noises that interrupt sleep are low-frequency sounds from heating  systems, appliances, traffic, airplanes, snoring and noisy neighbors. QuietOn 3’s ANC technology  eliminates ambient sound by automatically generating opposite waveforms to nullify the low  frequencies, resulting in a much quieter and more peaceful environment for sleep.

To ensure maximum comfort, each pair of QuietOn 3 comes with four sizes of eartips. With no  wireless setup or connectivity required, and automatic charging in the included case, QuietOn 3  earbuds are always ready to pop in and provide more restful sleep.

The QuietOn 3 earbuds charge in the included carrying case, which contains its own battery to  guarantee a full-charge at all times. A single charge provides 28 hours of use, so the earbuds have  the power to last all day, or for several nights.

They might seem expensive for some over the traditional method of using cheaper earplugs but they are excellent and look cool and are some piece of tech that comes with a quality charging case too. At the end of the day the big question is do they work and the answer is yes..

Tech Review – Sudio ETT true wireless earbuds.. #Tech #sudiosweden #shapingsound

Having tested the all new Sudio ETT for some time now they are a great pair of earbuds with great looks and stand out which was one thing noted during my testing, people asking what brand they are, something often asked but people like the colour here in particular which moves away from the traditional Black or White variants that are most common but there seems to be a change here with more manufacturers offering more colours which is nice and gives the consumer choice..

The Sudio ETT come with nice packaging as do all Sudio products and is nice to see as first impressions do last for many you get a presentation overall and you can see this in the unboxing experience below…Slip into an audio world where you’re in control. Sudio Ett’s Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is pure listening, uninterrupted, while comfort fitted detachable ear tips ensure perfect sound seal for any ear. Automatic Transparency Mode intuitively lowers noise reduction, allowing you to hear your own voice clearly, that is, if you decide to answer when the outside world calls.

Sound

The Sudio ETT overall pack a decent punch here however I think they could do better with an app as I mentioned in previous Sudio product reviews but overall they are fine with 10mm drivers they deliver quite well as a whole with highs lows and mids doing fine and for the average user they will have no problems with these at all, not as loud as I would like but loud enough and for my usual test loop they performed well in fairness they lack a deep bass and calls are fine too and for music and movies etc you will be happy enough if you are not a true audiophile which I am not but know good from bad due to the amount of earbuds I test here. There was no lag latency noticed here either.

Comfort and Build

Comfort is nice here and with the right buds the ANC does a good job overall they look nice have a nice soft finish to them and fit really well and will not fall out once in your ears, I do really like the build quality of these earbuds and they look great too and as mentioned the range of colours you get to pick from is nice and different.. Also you get an IPX5 rating here and wireless charging to boot. Battery life is not too bad either which is around 30 hours without ANC and around 22 with ANC or 6 and 4 per charge

These cost 119 euro now which is a fair price to pay and you get a well built product that delivers for the most part on sound with some features missing, check out the video below for more and how to use the earbuds and let us know if you have picked these up and your thoughts below.

Tech Review – Tronsmart Apollo Air ANC earbuds #Tronsmart #ApolloAir #Tech

Tronsmart have sent us some of their latest tech and the first in is the Apollo air which we have been testing out the past while and these are an excellent pair of earbuds to own. They do have another version of these but we will come back to them at a later date. The Apollo Air will run you around 60 euro which is not bad and the sound quality here with these are excellent and to top it off they now have an app which enhances the soundstage even more and also these a nice and loud.

They come with a nice sized case too and fits in any pocket giving you around 20 hours in total playtime with case and around 5 hours with one charge this is less when you use ANC and high volumes, there is no wireless charging here which is fine but would have made these more a sweeter deal but still great value for money.

The earbuds are a comfortable fit but slight protrude from the ears with a long chamber but this is normal and there is others out there that stick out much more and this to be honest doesn’t bother me. For calls these are also good but it is the music and how it sounds is what is most important. When it comes to modes we have three options here and they are ideal for indoors outdoors and commutes and so on giving you ambient mode ANC on/off.

These really do get loud highs lows and mids are good, listening to music is great and also for films You Tube and Netflix etc they really shine in action movies with great direction and they give a near like headphone experience. The app as mentioned above really enhances the overall experince here with choices like 3d,deep bass, vocal, rock and much more to chose from you will see the full details in the video review. There is no lag latency to be noted either during my testing.

Controls are a breeze to use here given you might find them sensitive to begin with, everything is here from skip and reverse tracks .volume control and voice assistant and you can adjust the settings to your requirement in the app.

For the money here you cant go wrong and they come in two colours.

  • 35dB full frequency hybrid active noise cancelling.
  • Industry-leading Qualcomm QCC3046 chip.
  • High-quality Qualcomm® aptX™ audio decoding.
  • Customized graphene driver for better sound quality.
  • Three modes switching designed for different usage scenarios.
  • Six mics with cVc 8.0 technology for crystal-clear calls.
  • TWS+ binaural synchronous transmission technology.
  • Bluetooth 5.2.

Tech Review – Soundpeats T2 true wireless earbuds. #Tech #SoundpeatsT2

The Soundpeats T2 earbuds are an affordable pair of earbuds in a now crowded market but bringing ANC into the mix at this price is where we are at now and when it comes to choice the consumer is now spoiled for choice which is not a bad thing and now even cements more what I have been saying for a while now there is no need to spend silly money on Airpods and so on.

These are on the large side but fit well and comfortable but stick out a little so if you are one to like earbuds that remain unseen from the front you might want to look elsewhere. The controls are quite good and not overly sensitive here with most of the features in board though you are missing the previous track which is quite common on earbuds but you can ask your assistant to do that anyway so it is no huge deal for me. You can skip tracks, play and pause take calls and of course access your voice assistant we go through all this in the video review below anyway.

The timing on the controls is rather odd with 1.5 seconds and so on when 1 or two is the norm and can make you take a different task at times until you get the hang of them but overall they well when you get the hang of it and for me with big hands and fingers it was fine after a few hours of use.

There is no app here but they could use one in fairness and to be honest the sound that comes out of them is not bad at all considering the price you pay here which is 35 quid at the time of the post so what do you expect, you will not get the best quality seen in more expensive earbuds but overall a decent audio experience it has to be said and you cant really complain here for the price with ANC on board which is decent enough and you also get hybrid ANC/ Transparency mode.

You will get around 30 hours of use with ANC off and around 22 with ANC on so depending on your use case this is something to take note which still is not bad at this pricepoint. Another good factor to take note is they can be used individually too which is left out of many earbuds including ones you pay a pretty penny for so this is a nice inclusion here.

Overall the sound is good they are loud with a balanced approach with highs lows and mids and a level of bass thrown in for good measure they performed well watching You Tube Netflix and on music with my usual test loop..

See the video below for more..
