FUJIFILM Europe GmbH, Imaging Solutions Division, has announced the introduction of the instax mini Evo Cinema™ (mini Evo Cinema) hybrid instant camera. The mini Evo Cinema offers multiple ways for users to make highly personalized, one-of-a-kind content through still photos, short-form video (15-second clips), and instax™ mini photo prints via the free, downloadable instax mini Evo™ smartphone app. This 3-in-1 hybrid instant camera is designed to give users one of the most dynamic creative experiences the instax™ brand has ever offered. Also announced was their new smartphone printer.

“mini Evo Cinema offers the best of both worlds – the vintage look of an 8mm video camera, with all of the modern functionality of a hybrid instant camera now integrating photo, video, and print in one unique package,” said Shin Udono, Senior Vice President, Imaging Solutions, FUJIFILM Europe. “The mini Evo Cinema delivers a smooth, unique photographic experience that gives the user a myriad of ways to turn casual moments into unforgettable ones.”

Main Features:

Eras Dial™

The mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera features a first for instax™ cameras – the Eras Dial™, which allows users to apply photo effects from 10 different eras to their image – from the grainy, pale tones of the 1930s, to a 1960s effect inspired by 8mm film cameras, to the vibrant colors of the 1980s, and to the sharp, rich imagery of the 2020s. Each era is designed to capture the look and feel of the imagery of that time.

Degree Control Dial

Content created in each era can be fine-tuned with any of the 10 effects from the Degree Control Dial on the lens. By simply rotating the dial to precisely adjust color, contrast, and noise expression – users can create up to 10 creative variations per era.

Frame Switch

Once an era is chosen and the intensity of the era is selected via the Degree Control Dial, users can continue to personalize by adding a frame to every shot or video clip utilizing the Frame Switch. There’s a frame for every era, each paying homage to the characteristics, media, and playback devices that defined that time.

CINE/STILL Modes

Users can easily switch between “CINE” and ”STILL” modes to capture either a video or photo, respectively, with ease. In CINE mode, users can shoot a series of clips – up to 15 seconds in total – and the camera will stitch them into one smooth video automatically. Via the free, downloadable instax mini EvoTM smartphone app, users can connect via Bluetooth® and extend video creations to 30 seconds by adding or reordering clips.

Zoom Lever

The mini Evo Cinema features built-in digital zoom. The tactile Zoom Lever lets you dial up the intimacy of the shot or pull back for greater scope and more atmosphere.

“My Gallery”

Within the instax mini Evo™ app, the My Gallery section provides users a secure place to store the images and videos they create, segmented into categories including Favorites, Printed, Video, Photo, Projects. Through this function, users can also save printed images digitally to their smartphone’s camera roll, finished with the iconic instaxTM mini border.

Video Printing

Users can access videos via a one-of-a-kind instax™ mini instant photo printed with a QR code ready to be scanned and played back on a smartphone. Video is captured as standard at 600 x 800, and with the 2020 Era selection is captured at 1080 x 1440.

Timeless Design

With sleek black, vertical grip design (inspired by Fujifilm’s “FUJICA Single-8”, an 8mm camera introduced in 1965); and analog-inspired details, this hybrid instant camera is meticulously crafted for those who appreciate tactile functions alongside beauty and elegance.

Top Tools to Verify Your Degree or Diploma Online

These days, you can easily deal with fake diplomas without even knowing. The truth is that people are indeed trying to show fake degrees and diplomas, in an effort to obtain a better job. However, for your business that can be very problematic. You must figure out how to identify whether a person is lying about their diploma or degree.

If you are dealing with a liar, that could bring problems for your business in the long run. That’s why using tools which help identify a fake degree can be a very good idea. Here’s a list with some of the top tools you can use to verify degrees and diplomas.

Why is it important to verify degrees?

  • It allows you to prevent fraud, which a lot of people are focused on doing if they want a specific job. They will go to the ends of the world to fake their degree or diploma just to get a high-paying job.
  • Plus, verifying degrees offers you a very good way of protecting your reputation, something that will help quite a lot.
  • It also gives you the means to streamline your recruitment naturally, something that will help more than expected.
  • Additionally, it gives you global mobility, a thing that will help more than expected.
  • With help from degree verification, you will be able to ensure competence, which is indeed something you have to focus on.

Thankfully, there’s no shortage of tools you can use when it comes to verifying degrees. That’s why the list below is helpful, as it will make it easier to verify degrees quickly and effectively. Once you start using these tools, you won’t have to worry about any downsides or problems in the long term.

Verifile

Verifile is a global database that covers many fraudulent institutions and diploma mills. It has extensive records of fake providers, and it works closely with some of the top background screening companies. It’s crucial for those that want to detect fraud, and it works extremely well. Not only that, but a lot of people appreciate this because it’s very effective at helping you find any fake diploma or degree. Overall, it does a stellar job at narrowing down whether a diploma is real or not, and that truly becomes a solid option to consider.

Parchment

It’s an US-based fake diploma finder and it will help you particularly with credential verification, along with transcripts. It’s very effective at integrating with applicant tracking systems and it has connections with a plethora of universities and schools. With that in mind, it has a very fast turnaround, and the online system they are using is very user-friendly.

The downside is that it mostly focuses on the US, and prices are on the high side. That being said, the fact that it focuses on transcripts is handy, and it certainly helps make the experience better and more cohesive. All in all, the value for money is excellent, and you will find it to convey good results, overall.

Digitary

Digitary is a good service for those that want to verify academic credentials. It uses the blockchain for credential storage, and it has instant verification using secure links. On top of that, in order to maintain a high level of accuracy, they have partnerships with a variety of higher education institutions found all over the world.

That being said, employers don’t always have to pay, the issuing costs are covered by institutions. Since the upside is that you get results very fast, it’s one of the top-tier solutions for verifying credentials, and it does work much better than expected. Overall, the value is certainly there, and for the most part, you will be impressed with the consistent value for money delivered here.

Truecopy Credentials

It’s one of the more popular credential checkup services, and it’s partnered with a multitude of universities. They also provide secure delivery for digital documents, not to mention a plethora of institutions from all over the world are using this, which is indeed a major plus. That being said, you have prices that vary based on the customer requirements, and they can add up at times.

It’s limited to mostly transcript verification, although they are doing some credential verifications in there as well. And additionally, it can be great for those that apply abroad, as it is a thing you have to consider. Sure, it might not be as popular outside of the academic circles, but it’s a solid option for credential verification.

Accredible

The Accredible platform is designed to verify diplomas and digital certificates coming from academic institutions. Simply put, if someone has a fake diploma or degree, this is one of the top tools for you to verify its accuracy. It uses blockchain-secured credentials and QR solutions to streamline the way everything works. Plus, it offers secure verification and it certainly helps remove any worries about forgery. These days, it’s a great idea to use it, just because there are so many scammers you have to deal with.

Qualification Check

Unlike most of the other companies, this one is from the UK. However, it has a global reach and it covers over 190 countries. It will help verify credentials and diplomas, along with training certificates, professional licenses and higher education certificates. It will cost anywhere from $20 to $60 to do a verification.

Generally, you can see the results in around 5 to 10 days, and the user interface is really simple. That being said, you will notice that costs always add up, especially when it comes to verifying people in bulk. Despite all of that, we think that this is an exceptional tool with a great value for money and stellar feature sets.

World Education Services

It’s one of the top evaluation services of degrees. Sure, it is on the costly side, but they do work directly with universities to figure out if there are any fake diplomas or degrees. That does come in handy, and it shows the exceptional value you get from something like this. And for the most part, the ROI you can expect in these cases is among some of the best.

That being said, there are some downsides to WES as well. One of them is the fact that costs are high, and processing takes multiple weeks. That’s because they work directly with universities, so it will not be something instant.

National Student Clearinghouse

You will notice this is a solid service, especially if you are very serious about hiring reliable people and not those with a fake degree. It can verify degrees, transcripts and many others. On top of that, they provide results very fast, and since it’s a nonprofit, they are more trustworthy when compared to other companies. Keep in mind that coverage outside of the US is rather limited.

If you want to make sure that you hire the right people, you want to verify their degree and diplomas. You never know when and how people may want to lie. These things happen a lot more often than you realize. So it makes a lot of sense to focus on the diplomas, figure out if people lie or not, and then go from there. In the end, you can never be too careful, so verifying degrees and diplomas is extremely important!

Nokia launches world’s first 5G 360° camera for industrial use

Nokia announced today that it is launching the world’s first 5G-enabled 360° camera for industrial usage. The camera is designed for harsh industrial conditions and comes with cyber-secure software and built-in security hardware. The camera is the result of long-term extensive Nokia multimedia research and contains many of Nokia’s ground-breaking innovations.

Waterproof (IP67) and shock-resistant, the camera provides 8K streaming with low-latency high-resolution 360° video coupled with spatial audio over 5G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet, enabling versatile usage scenarios and minimizing the need for extensive use of traditional cameras at industrial sites and entertainment events. The Nokia 360 Camera (WiFi variant) provides a cost efficient solution with full benefits of 8K 360° multimedia streaming, and the Nokia 5G 360 Camera – Extreme Temperature variant enables product deployment in extreme temperatures.

The ability to transmit video and audio over private and public wireless networks enables real-time remote-control usage, enabling customers to reduce the risk of accidents and increasing reliability and operational efficiency. RXRM’s ground-breaking 360° video and spatial audio increases the accuracy of what users see through near-instant, ultra-HD content streaming. It provides truly immersive experiences that will redefine the ways in which people work together in industrial context.

RXRM customers in different fields are already using the technology for a variety of use cases, delivering on the vast potential for this immersive technology to make industrial processes safer, faster and more cost efficient.

Finnish company Callio Pyhäjärvi is an early RXRM customer, and they have repurposed Europe’s deepest mine (Pyhäsalmi mine: 1,445 meters) into a multidisciplinary operating environment for R&D, remote operations, training and for spearheading the latest technologies for the mining industry globally.

Sami Ranta, General Manager, RXRM, Nokia, said: “Nokia RXRM allows industrial customers to enhance their business processes, saving costs from product support to field operations. Sakari Nokela, Chief Development Officer, Callio Pyhäjärvi, said: “The Nokia 5G 360 Camera is a true innovation for demanding industrial use cases. Previously, existing cameras have been unable to meet the challenges posed by the harsh conditions of mining operations in Callio Business Park. With the trusted Nokia product reliability and security, this camera effectively addresses a critical gap in the market.”
