How Do Online Casinos Use Latest Technology Trends

Since the instigation of modern technology, it has contributed positively to the growth of online casinos today. In fact, it is impossible to find any casino online that doesn’t employ some of these techs. And here, we will take it a step further to review some of the latest technology trends that several brands employ now. While some of them are obvious improvements, most of them are rather unappreciated, and we will open your eyes to them. Let’s go!

Artificial Intelligence

When you visit your online casino website, you will find some gaming recommendations, and surprisingly, these recommendations never miss. Most times, it is always something you are genuinely interested in or a game you already play regularly. If you didn’t know before then we should enlighten you that it is not a coincidence—that is the work of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With AI, online casinos can observe your activities and see what you play regularly. And with that information, they specially tailor your recommendations and ads to suit what you could want.

Chatbots

Chatbots in online casinos are tailored to answer specific requests and give you solutions to common problems. These automated response machines did not exist in the past so players had to wait in queues before an agent attended to them. And they later find out that it is a simple issue that can be solved with a click of a button.

So to tackle that redundant issue, online casinos employ chatbots that are pre-programmed with common problems customers face. And most importantly, they also program their respective solutions. This innovation has helped to cut out lots of waiting because only players with more serious reach out to agents.

Full E-wallet Support

Before now, several regions were unable to enjoy their gambling as their governments placed so many restrictions on using banks to fund and withdraw from your casino account. But with most online casinos now supporting several e-wallets for both deposits and withdrawals, players get to enjoy hitch-free transactions as they are more lenient with their rules.

Most importantly, e-wallets are modern digital payment methods so they guarantee the safety and privacy of users, making them the perfect alternative.

Live Streaming

Gone are the days when interested persons were unable to keep track of casino tournaments and events. Back then, people only saw live trackers and scoreboards to get a grasp of what was happening. Today, modern technology makes it possible for anybody to click a button and live stream tournaments. This is a luxury that only old-school players deeply appreciate.

Smartwatch Gambling

Did you know that some casinos now support gambling from your smart devices? The one that blows most people’s minds is that of smartwatches. Technological innovations have found a way to perfectly optimize several casino games for smartwatches. So far, you can play games like:

  • Slots
  • Roulette
  • Bingo

This innovation allows players to experience another mobile alternative when they don’t have access to their phone or computer.

Instant Identity Verification

Casino verifications don’t take so long anymore. While some do it in minutes, others make it less than 24 hours. But did you know that in the past, players had to wait for days to get their verifications done? It took about five to seven working days to verify your account before you could get full access and it was an unusually long wait. Thanks to the latest technology that allows casinos to use automation for IDs, they can confirm if yours is legit or not.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)

Although VR and AR are not yet full-blown in the industry, the little we see is astonishing. These technologies are a big game changer and would allow players to enjoy a hands-on casino experience from the comfort of their abode. Live dealer games are great, but VR and AR are taking it to the next level. Wait and see!

Jabra introduces unique AI software for improving customer and agent experience in contact centres

Jabra, a leader in personal sound, video and office solutions, is launching a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, Engage AI. Engineered to transform contact centre call experiences, the solution employs Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that provides real-time insights to improve customer calls and support employee wellbeing.

The launch comes on the back of Jabra’s findings on how 76% of customers who contact customer service do so over the phone and how voice interaction remains the preferred channel for customers. With customer experience being a key performance indicator for businesses, Engage AI is built to journey with agents to improve customer satisfaction through monitoring elements like tone of voice.

Using real-time insights to transform call experiences

Engage AI assesses both the caller and agents’ conversation and levels of engagement. The solution, which works well with most contact centre systems, provides an instant measurement of the customer experience and live coaching on how to manage the given situation. When agents deliver a friendly and energetic voice, it demonstrably improves customer satisfaction and conversion rates, and reduces call length, thereby saving costs.

Such real-time insights allow agents to adjust their approach during calls immediately to better suit the caller’s needs as well as post-call in the form of engagement scores to understand areas of improvement. The engagement score and data can also be integrated into existing analytics platforms via API.

Bringing teams together with upskilling opportunities

The SaaS solution comes with tools to support skill development and improve team management. Contact centre agents can get access to self-coaching assessments and performance evaluations which are strength-based, inclusive and personalised for each agent and team.

Contact centre supervisors can also gain instantaneous actionable insights into their team’s performance to further improve customer experience on an individual and team level. On top of receiving real-time updates on praiseworthy and coachable moments, supervisors can use the platform to monitor employee wellbeing based on real-time event updates and dashboards with call analytics and data.

“Our partners in the contact centre space are obsessed with their customers and are constantly seeking ways to enhance the customer experience. At Jabra, we believe in getting it right from the first second and see the value in improving conversation qualities,” said Anders Hvelplund, SVP for Call Centric Solutions at Jabra. “Engage AI has cracked the code of human sentiment, enabling agents to react instantly and be the best version of themselves. We are also keen to use the platform to bring supervisors and agents closer together in this era of remote working and create more opportunities for coaching.

The AI model is based on over 20 years of research and millions of analysed conversations by the world’s most prolific voice AI scientists at audEERING, a Munich-based technology operation.

Jabra Engage AI is easy to implement as it works across all dialects and languages. It is ideal with Jabra Engage headsets, which enable additional features such as measuring background noise, but works well with all professional headsets.

Jabra Engage AI will be available from September 15. Find out more here: jabra.co.uk/engageai

Top technologies in 2022

Technology continues its unstoppable innovation, bringing new solutions to society. Perhaps some of them, as is the case of the metaverse, are not so important or socially relevant. However, in other cases we can find technologies that can have an application that can bring a lot to society, especially in certain countries, as is the case of Blockchain technology.

Metaverse

Many people may wonder what the metaverse can really contribute to people’s lives. In the opinion of many experts, perhaps little. What they can do is change the way we enjoy some experiences or perhaps envelop them with new sensations. For example, there are websites that claim that the metaverse will play an important role in casino games and the like. For example, being able to simulate the presence of the player in a real casino room, being able to enjoy from the comfort of your home the feeling of being in the gaming room of the best casinos in the world. For example, you will be able to visit and play at the tables of the Monte Carlo casino from the sofa of your home.

Some media also point to the possibility that we can have much more immersive distance learning experiences similar to a traditional classroom with physical presence and direct contact between student and teacher. In fact, online education can undergo a great evolution if it can fit well within an educational metaverse. Being able to ask questions to the teacher in real time in a much closer way than by a simple video call can make some trainings that are developed within the metaverse increase the quality and above all the knowledge that the student can obtain.

Blockchain

As for blockchain, large projects of great social significance have been generated within it. Blockchain technology should not be confused with cryptocurrencies, as they do not necessarily go together. Cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology, but they are not the same thing. For example, some of the most innovative projects using blockchain technology allow the donations that countries and individuals give to developing countries to be traced and, in a transparent way, it can be seen what that money is spent on and in whose hands it goes. This is something that can contribute to overcome the inequality that exists between many third world countries and more developed countries, since having the possibility of controlling and verifying what the donations are destined to, many more people may want to contribute to these countries without fearing that the money ends up diverted to the accounts of corrupt politicians in these less developed countries. In addition, the NGOs that may receive the funds will have full traceability of the money, being able to be transparent with their donors at all times.

In this aspect there are numerous social projects or projects of social interest that can be developed on the Blockchain, although few end up coming to fruition. In many cases, large sums of money are needed to finance the project, so they need to obtain funding and these times are not very good in that aspect, as many venture capital funds have stopped investing in companies that are not profitable and can offer a return on their investment in the short term, due to the crisis we are experiencing globally at the moment.

Artificial Intelligence

Undoubtedly the best example of the evolution of technology. This year there has even been news about the possible or theoretical consciousness that some artificial intelligences could have of themselves. However, artificial intelligence is something that will help many sectors in the coming years. One sector where a lot of work is being done with artificial intelligence is in the healthcare sector, where it is expected that artificial intelligence could help save many lives with artificial intelligence-based treatments and diagnoses in order to always do what is optimal for the patient.

Google even offers training on artificial intelligence so that users and developers can contribute to the ecosystem and take artificial intelligence to a new level where it can really have a great impact in favor of society in many different areas.

Tech Review – Edifier CC200 headset

With the dawn of working from home a big thing new products are en masse and that is not a bad thing for the consumer when it comes to choice and so on, however there seems to be a push back into the office of late but the products can be used both at home or workplace and this new headset can be used just the same.

This one for me however is different,  I do test mostly headphones and having a full earcup missing is funny. Yes I use headphones or earbuds on calls every day as this is what I do but this product is interesting still and so easy to use yet has plenty of features.

The headset is light so can be worn all day literally and the mic arm can swivel both ways, in other products I did test or try this was an annoyance for me having the arm locked on one side so this is a bonus for those who like or want to have the ability to swaps side, this might seem odd for some but probably those who do not use such products trust me it is nice to be able to swap sides.

This not only works with your PC or laptop this works with your phone, some headsets do not and require a USB A connection again some phones allow you to get around that if they support OTG whereby you would simply add an adapter and off you go but not very convenient in my book. This is a bluetooth option rather than cable so for most would work better I would think although it is another device to charge but it is what it is. You do easily get 2/3 days out of this headset which is great and can be charged overnight of course and does not take long to charge.

The sound is where it rest with most but difficult to call it with one side I did a sound test in the video review below so you can make your own call and in real life use fashion you can hear things going on and get a real life sense or what to expect and it is good, calls are good and clear and it can be used for music which for me is great, not the best in the world for music but it works and there is your controls there too to do what needs doing and you get a busy light too which I like.

For the price in question it is a good headset and be be used not only for your office calls and so on but in a personal capacity.

DAACI AI Tech Sets Out to Revolutionise Music Composition

Award-winning DAACI has developed and filed a series of patents for its ground-breaking AI core tech which is set to revolutionise the creative process of music composition, democratising music creation for the metaverse masses.

Informed by the core principles of musical composition and three decades of doctoral music research, DAACI is a fully formed AI system that composes, arranges, orchestrates and produces the highest-quality original music. Unlike other AI music tools, there are no pre-recorded tracks or ready made samples. Instead, musical elements and textures are written in real time, infinitely generated on demand as DAACI dynamically responds to the creator’s brief.

The patents relate to the proprietary core tech of the DAACI framework, which dynamically adapts to user inputs and captures compositional intent. Developed to power the evolution of music creation, DAACI has multiple potential applications from movie scores to gaming in the metaverse.

Rachel Lyske, DAACI CEO said: “The demand for original music has never been greater. Whether we’re discovering new artists online, immersing ourselves in a favourite MMO game, watching a must-see TV show or browsing the internet’s infinite scroll of content, music is the constant soundtrack to modern life.

Image: Rachel Lyske, DAACI CEO

“DAACI does away with ‘computer generated’, ‘random’ sounds. It raises the standard of AI composition by creating structure and form that has exceptionally high quality, is endlessly adaptive, and generates emotionally fulfilling originality in seconds.”

DAACI can satisfy the demand for limitless composition and will power music creativity for the next generation of composers, content creators and producers, who are already realising applications for its framework tech:

Gaming:

Whilst today’s gaming music is recognised by static and generic soundtracks, metaverse users are demanding a dynamic approach. They want to choose their own unique soundtrack in real time, to fit their story and emotions.

DAACI can provide games developers with high-fidelity contextual and situational music. From the endless creation of bespoke audio skins and NFTs to adaptive in game soundtracking, DAACI creates a truly immersive and emotional connection between players and games like never before.

Composition Ally:

DAACI doesn’t intend to replace composers. Instead, it provides an easy-to-use tool to enhance the productivity and scalability of their work. For artists and production companies, DAACI is an ally that offers the perfect combination of innovative technology and music composition axioms – delivering the best of both worlds. A true virtual composer, DAACI learns to think and dynamically respond using compositional principles and rules, delivering authentic, rich music composition at a speed and scale well beyond the limits of human possibility.

DAACI’s composition science stems from the notable team of professional musicians and composers behind it, who between them hold an enviable list of credits spanning performing, musical direction, vocal coaching, writing, producing, sound mixing and sound design. The team anticipates the landscape for how music is created and experienced is changing, so they are bringing the DAACI AI software to life as a tool for users whilst respecting and protecting the knowledge musicians have acquired.

Having successfully completed a seed funding round, DAACI is extremely excited to be launching its new round. They are raising an EIS eligible £4m which will close in September – https://www.daaci.com/daaci-deck

How AI Will Affect the Future of Work

AI is revolutionizing the way that people work. Many industries are no longer hiring physical staff. Instead, they are using AI to complete administrative and even physical tasks. For many people, this is very problematic, The use of AI is resulting in millions of people losing their jobs. Millions more are also predicted to lose their jobs in the coming years. On the other hand, however, AI is helping businesses to save a lot of money, which allows them to then invest in other areas, and deliver more quality services.

This article will explore this topic in greater detail, explaining how AI will affect the future of work:

Accuracy

One of the main ways that AI will change the future of work is because it produces very reliable and accurate data. With more accurate data and information, companies are better able to target customers and tailor products to them. Many would argue that data accuracy is one of the main advantages of using artificial intelligence because it helps businesses to deliver better services. The data compilation and production skills of AI far exceed that of an ordinary human being. AI also compiles data a lot faster.

Unemployment

Unfortunately, the integration of AI will result in widespread unemployment. For individual workers, this is a big problem, but for companies this is good. The primary reason that the integration of AI will benefit companies is that it will result in them saving a lot of money. Companies will no longer have to pay the wages of full-time staff. For very large companies, removing staff and hiring AI could result in them saving millions of dollars. Massive unemployment, on the other hand, will be very bad for the global economy. The impact that AI will have is yet to be understood properly.

Productivity

AI is a lot more productive than physical workers because it is entirely automated and doesn’t get tired. This is a large reason why AI will take the jobs of normal people. AI can also work a lot faster. Because AI never gets tired, it can be left on to run 24/7. It is illegal to force one’s staff to work for such long hours. Businesses that have multiple AI bots working can then leave them running permanently, with no breaks, meaning that their productivity increases by over 100%.

Profitability

With greater productivity and data accuracy, businesses are able to increase their overall profitability. Profitability is the main metric by which businesses are measured. If a business is not profitable, then it can’t survive. AI can significantly boost profitability, in businesses from a variety of different industries. Greater profitability also means that businesses can invest in other areas of their businesses, improving and streamlining important functions. Because businesses will save a lot of money by integrating AI and will earn more money, there will be a lot more money to be invested, therefore significantly proving the way that businesses run and are managed.

Resources

By integrating AI into their daily operations, businesses are able to free up resources. If businesses choose to keep staff whose jobs have been taken over by AI, then they can move them to other departments and focus on streamlining tasks. Currently, the main tasks completed by AI are administrative in nature. Administrative tasks can be very time-consuming. Staff no longer having to complete administrative work can save the companies that they work for a lot of time (and therefore money). More disposable resources mean that businesses can improve the services that they offer.

Flexibility

The use of AI means businesses are able to be more flexible. Because staff will no longer be responsible for completing time-consuming administrative tasks, they will be able to be assigned to complete other more important tasks on short notice. Flexibility is a very important thing for businesses to cultivate. If a business isn’t flexible, then it won’t be able to adapt and change according to consumer demands. The business world is constantly evolving. With more and more technology being released, businesses need to stay ahead, which AI can help them to do. Improved flexibility means a better working culture, better company, and more profits.

Personalization

AI can be used to personalize the consumer journey. The main way that it does this is by anticipating what a customer’s next step is. By anticipating a customer’s next step, AI is able to deliver a high-quality and efficient service. When customers are shopping on your website, they sometimes need a small push to get them to complete a sale. AI can help to give them this push. AI can send them reminders, emails, and notifications, in addition to offering them discounts for shopping with you. AI personalization is one of the most popular trends in online sales, at the moment.

Skills

When you hire a person to complete a task, their skills are limited. This is not the case with AI. The reason for this is that AI can be customized, according to what needs to be done. All a programmer needs to do is to alter an AI’s code to change its function. This essentially gives you access to workers with infinite skills and capabilities. The possibilities of this are endless. Businesses can use AI for marketing, sales, and product development. The myriad skills of AI are in part why so many people are being made unemployed.

Occupations

While AI is causing people to lose jobs, it is also creating jobs. There is a huge demand for AI programmers and handlers, at the moment. If you are looking for a job in an emerging industry, then learning about the production and management of AI software is something that you might want to consider. Because AI is taking over administrative tasks, it is also creating jobs in more specialized fields. The jobs that AI is creating are usually offered as ‘home working’ positions, which is great for people that have children or just don’t want to commute into an office every day.

AI will (and already has) significantly change the way that we work. That’s not a bad thing, though. While people will be made unemployed, jobs will still be created. AI will save businesses millions and allow them to deliver better services.
