instax WIDE Evo Hybrid Camera Review

The instax WIDE Evo Hybrid Camera has been the latest camera I have been testing over the last few weeks and as always with instax it is a step back in time but current and if you are a fan of all things nostalgia you know the drill with these cameras we have been reviewing for some years now.

This camera again is bug but so what, might not be ideal to put in your bag but doable for some if you are one to take photos when out with your friends and family it is a talking point when taken out so and people do not realise instant photos can still be done like rather than take one on your phone have this camera at hand and get your photo there and then.

There is lots going on with the WIDE Evo hybrid when it comes to features and several buttons to mess around with for me an overkill I am a point and shoot but having played around with this I can see why these features are there and again I am not one to edit photos once taken either but there is features galore all listed below and the editing options at hand.

With the big screen you see more and you also have wide angle shooting with this camera it is pretty cool all the options here and the array of buttons to play around with is a photographers dream. You have your focus lens,  You have ten lens effects and ten film effects to begin with the dial on both sides you can scroll through them all we demo all this in the video review and also some of this in the unboxing video

There is a button up top for film style too with cool effects and then you have the lens to chose effects that suit you then you move down to the navi key and other buttons under the LCD display for more options and of course in image editing options, there is so much here to do for the real photography enthusiast. You have a dedicated shutter key this time it is not a button but a lever I would call it and below is the wide angle switch and you can notice the difference here unlike you can even on some phones today. You get your power on/off dial too this time rather than a button.

The stand out feature probably is the print crank which takes you back to days of old here and again people were somewhat looking at me funny when I took it out one night explaining to them how this works and what these cameras do.

You can add a micro SD card if you want and again print images from this and connect to the app if you wish and of course connect to their printers which is also cool. as for the image quality it is decent you can load them on to your laptop if you like and scroll through them there or the screen on the camera itself you have the best of both worlds here you can also connect to your phone and share.

Features

Integrated Wide Angle Option

WIDE Evo features the widest lens on any instax™ instant camera, at 16mm. Users can choose to take images at the standard width, or opt for Wide-angle Mode, which maximizes the camera’s lens capabilities to get all of the action into the photo.

10 Lens Effects x 10 Film Effect Options

Like the instax mini Evo™ instant camera, WIDE Evo features 10 lens effects and 10 film effect options, offering 100 different combinations for users to express themselves. WIDE Evo adds Degree Control, which allows the user to determine the degree to which each lens effect is applied to their image.

Enhance The Look Of The Image

WIDE Evo offers 6 film styles to customize images even further, with options including normal, a cinematic look with black bars across the top and bottom of the image, a classic film strip look, a traditional date/time stamp format, a contact sheet look, or a vintage collodion process effect.

Selfies, Storage, and More

WIDE Evo also features a 3.5-inch LCD Monitor on the back of the camera to allow users to view added effects and edits and is supported by a built-in Lithium-ion battery which enables the camera to print up to 100 images per charge, depending on the specific use case. A Micro SD card slot (Micro SD Card sold separately) ensures there’s plenty of room to store additional images for later enjoyment (approximately 45 images can be stored in the camera’s internal memory), while the Selfie Mirror helps users nail selfies every time.

Film Styles

Exercise your creative control with five film styles (plus standard output). From cinematic to date stamp to film strip, each one delivers a unique analog-like effect burnt into the image to set your pictures apart.

Normal / Cinematic / Collodion Process / Contact Sheet / Date Stamp / Film Strip

Degree Control Dial

Satisfy your vision with the Degree Control Dial. Simply twist the lens to play with your chosen lens effects, creating subtle or dramatic images (and everything in between).

Wide-angle Lens

The instax WIDE Evo™ expands your view to capture more of the action, as it happens. And by using a single compact lens, whether Wide-angle mode is switched on or off, image quality is truly impressive.

Design Focused

Analog aesthetics

Finished in a modern, yet sophisticated design, and sporting a premium charcoal grey body with jet-black colour accents, this hybrid camera looks as good as it shoots.

Print Crank

Reminiscent of an analog experience, rotate the print crank located on the side of the camera to begin the printing of your latest creations.

Shutter Lever

Press the shutter lever down and feel the satisfying, responsive ‘click’ of the shutter as each photo is taken. Want to ‘lock’ the focus? Half press the lever.

Lens Cap

A premium lens needs a premium lens cap to protect it when not in use. Which is why the instax WIDE Evo™ comes with a handy detachable lens cap.

Wide-angle Switch

Effortlessly switch from wide-angle scenes to intimate moments using the wide-angle switch (handily positioned on the front, so you don’t have to take your eye off the shot).

Easy scrolling

On the left you have the Lens Effect Dial, on the right the Film Effect Dial. Both satisfyingly manual. Both easy to scroll through. Each perfect for turning the ordinary into extraordinary.

Degree Control Dial

Circling the lens you’ll find the Degree Control Dial, a ‘disc’ that your fingers can glide round, helping you change the degree of your shot to discover your exact vision.

Selfie Mirror

Some only see what’s in front of them. Not you. The selfie mirror, positioned on the front of this hybrid camera, lets you capture what’s usually behind the camera… you!

USB-C Charging

Unleash the full potential of the instax WIDE Evo™ by keeping it fully charged. With a USB-Type C port, plugging in for power couldn’t be easier.

LCD Screen

The high-resolution LCD screen on the rear gives you complete accuracy – what you see is what you print – helping you turn your vision into a physical, WIDE-format photo.

Tripod Mount

Fully equipped with a threaded hole, the instax WIDE Evo™ is tripod-ready. Useful for remote shooting, night-time shots or composites that require that extra steady ‘hand’.

Printed images, shared

For safe keeping

Insert a microSD card (sold separately) into the microSD card slot to back up your images – perfect for ultimate peace of mind, and ideal for those who want to ‘carry’ even more photographs.

Prints. From your camera roll

Not all photos are lucky enough to be shot on the instax WIDE Evo™. Which is why this hybrid instant camera also accepts shots from your smartphone, before dutifully printing them.

Inspiration at your fingertips

Explore the Discover Feed tab in-app for a daily boost of inspiration. A place where you can see and download the settings from other users’ images, ready to be used when the shot calls for it.

Social zone

Instantly share your WIDE format images via your smartphone. Pair the instax WIDE Evo™ with your smartphone, save your instax™ photos as digitally framed shots, then post your favourites to your social in a variety of creative templates.

Conclusion

Over this is a really cool camera with lots of features on board and takes decent photos, with the ability to share and print said photos via your phone or compatible printer makes it even more enjoyable to use and is a great talking point when taken out in a crowd.

Just Eat Drives Technology Advancements to Level Up Its Customer Experience

Just Eat, Ireland’s leading on-demand food delivery platform, has today announced it will be rolling out its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistant to empower everyday convenience. The programme will provide consumers with even more innovative ways to order on Just Eat. The AI Assistant was first tested in the UK in 2023, and is now being rolled out in Ireland, among other markets over the coming months.

With the roll-out of Just Eat’s new AI Assistant, consumers will now be able to search and place their orders through text ordering and receive personalised recommendations. This includes helping consumers discover new restaurants and meals, creating a more efficient and seamless selection process on the Just Eat platform.

Beyond enhancing the selection process for food, groceries, and non-food items, the AI Assistant also enhances customer support. It can summarise reviews, highlight key details about restaurants and stores, and tailor suggestions based on customer preferences. Additionally, it helps direct users to further support when needed. As Just Eat continues to expand and refine this service, the goal is to leverage consumer feedback to improve the experience, introduce new features, and optimise before rolling out more widely.

Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director, Just Eat Ireland said, “As a technology-led company, we are constantly looking for ways to drive innovation within the food delivery sector. We are wholly committed to investing in emerging technology that allows us to not only continuously deliver a positive experience to our customers, but also to improve engagement with our restaurant partners through the platform.”

“While Just Eat has leveraged AI to support various facets of its business for some time, leveraging it to enhance the way we deliver services, makes perfect sense. By offering Irish consumers more choice and convenience, be that in terms of food takeaways or grocery and convenience items, this helps us maintain a best-in-class user experience, which benefits everyone, including our extensive network of restaurant and grocery partners.”

Just Eat Expands Drone Delivery Footprint

Just Eat is committed to implementing innovative solutions to deliver a positive customer experience, and the launch of Just Eat’s AI Assistant comes as the company announces an extension of its partnership with Manna Drone Delivery to roll out the use of drones for deliveries in Ireland. The company previously worked with Manna as part of a pilot in Galway in 2021.

Starting in Ireland, with plans to roll the partnership out in other markets across Europe, this service provides a new delivery option for customers, enabling them to receive their orders from participating partners via drones, which will be deployed from local delivery hubs operated by Manna. Once the food has been loaded onto the drone, customers will receive their orders in as little as three minutes.

The aim of this partnership is to improve operational efficiency during peak times, giving customers flexibility and convenience in how they receive their order, helping to drive a more efficient customer experience.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in revolutionising food delivery in Ireland, combining Just Eat’s commitment to convenience and Manna’s cutting-edge drone technology to offer faster, more innovative service to customers.

“At Boojum, we’re always looking for innovative ways to enhance our customer experience and to stay ahead of the curve and integrating Manna Drone Delivery with Just Eat encapsulates that. Speed, convenience, and quality are at the heart of what we do, and this partnership allows us to bring our fresh, bold flavours to customers in a whole new way. We’re excited to be at the forefront of this concept and can’t wait for more of our customers to experience their favourite Boojum meals delivered by drone,” commented Rob Powell, Head of Operations at Boojum.

Sell Smarter, Earn Faster: The Best Platforms to Turn Your Video Games into Cash

Video games have become an essential part of modern entertainment. Gamers spend hours playing their favorite titles, and over time, they may accumulate a collection of games that they no longer play. Instead of letting these games sit unused, why not turn them into cash? With the rise of various online platforms, it’s easier than ever to sell your video games and make some extra money.

Whether you’re cleaning out your game shelf or upgrading to the latest releases, selling your used games can be a great way to recoup some of your investment. This article will explore the best platforms to turn your video games into cash, highlighting the most effective ways to sell smarter and earn faster.

Why Sell Video Games?

Video games, much like other forms of entertainment, have a lifespan. Some games, especially physical copies, lose value over time as new versions and titles are released. However, this doesn’t mean that your old games have to sit around gathering dust. By selling them, you can get some return on your original investment and help another gamer enjoy the games you no longer play.

Additionally, as the gaming industry continues to evolve, the demand for both physical and digital games remains high. So, whether you’re a casual gamer with a few extra games or a hardcore collector with shelves full of titles, selling your games can give you the flexibility to refresh your collection without breaking the bank.

The Best Platforms for Selling Video Games

When it comes to selling your video games, choosing the right platform can make all the difference. Below are some of the best platforms where you can sell your games, get fast cash, and make the most out of your sales.

  1. Paymore: A Leading Option for Instant Cash

One platform that has gained attention in recent years for buying and selling video games is Paymore. Paymore offers an easy-to-use online service that allows you to sell your used video games quickly and efficiently. The platform stands out for its user-friendly process, fast payment, and competitive pricing.

Paymore operates straightforwardly: you simply list your games on their website, get an instant offer, and ship the games to them for free. Once your games are received and verified, Paymore processes the sale and sends your payment via your chosen method, such as PayPal, check, or direct deposit. This no-hassle approach makes it easy to turn your unwanted video games into cash without the stress of negotiating with buyers or worrying about shipping costs.

What sets Paymore apart from other platforms is its focus on customer satisfaction. Many users have reported positive experiences with the platform, citing its transparent pricing and fast transactions. Whether you’re selling a single game or an entire collection, Paymore provides a convenient and reliable service that makes the process of selling your games both easy and profitable.

  1. eBay: The Marketplace for Gamers

For those who are looking for a broader market for their video games, eBay is an excellent option. As one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, eBay allows you to sell both physical and digital games to a global audience. The platform provides a bidding system where you can set your price or let buyers compete for your items.

Selling on eBay gives you the freedom to list your video games however you like. You can create detailed listings, upload images, and set competitive prices. While it may take a little longer to sell compared to platforms like Paymore, the potential to reach buyers worldwide is a huge advantage for those with rare or collectible titles.

  1. GameStop: The Big-Box Retailer with a Trade-In Program

If you’re looking for a quick way to sell video games and don’t mind receiving store credit, GameStop’s trade-in program is a convenient option. GameStop allows gamers to sell or trade their old video games, consoles, and accessories for cash or store credit. The process is simple: you bring in your games, receive an offer, and either walk out with cash or use the credit toward purchasing new games or gaming equipment.

GameStop often runs promotions where they offer bonuses for trading in certain titles, making it a great choice for gamers who want to sell their games and buy something new on the same day.

  1. Amazon: Selling Games to a Massive Audience

Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer, also offers an option for selling video games through its trade-in program. Like eBay, Amazon gives sellers access to a massive audience of potential buyers, but the trade-in process is far simpler. You can list your games, receive offers, and accept them directly through Amazon’s platform.

What sets Amazon apart is its ability to handle the entire transaction, including shipping and payments. This streamlined process takes the hassle out of selling video games, especially for those who want a quick and easy transaction.

  1. Facebook Marketplace: Local Selling Made Easy

For gamers who prefer to sell their video games locally, Facebook Marketplace offers a simple solution. You can list your games for sale in your local area, and potential buyers can contact you directly to negotiate prices or arrange pick-ups. This eliminates the need for shipping, and since there are no fees for listing or selling on Facebook Marketplace, you can keep all your earnings.

The downside to Facebook Marketplace is that you might have to deal with haggling or meet-ups with buyers, but if you’re comfortable with local transactions, this platform can be a quick and easy way to sell your games.

  1. Decluttr: Simplifying the Selling Process

Decluttr is another online platform that makes selling your video games easy. After entering the titles you want to sell on their website, you’ll receive an instant offer. If you accept, you can ship the games to Decluttr, and once the items are received, you’ll be paid quickly via PayPal or direct deposit.

Decluttr is ideal for gamers who want a no-hassle experience and are looking for a guaranteed cash offer. The platform accepts a wide range of video game titles, including DVDs, Blu-rays, and more, making it a versatile option for selling multiple forms of media.

  1. Mercari: A Mobile Marketplace for Gamers

Mercari is a popular mobile app that allows users to sell a variety of items, including video games. The platform is user-friendly, and listing items is simple. You can take photos of your games, write descriptions, and set your price—all from your smartphone.

Mercari’s convenience makes it a solid option for gamers who prefer to sell their games on the go. However, keep in mind that Mercari takes a small percentage of your sale price as a commission, so you may want to factor that into your pricing strategy.

How to Maximize Your Earnings When Selling Video Games

Selling your video games is only half the battle—getting the best price for them is the other half. Here are some tips to help you maximize your earnings when selling:

  1. Research Market Prices: Before listing your games, take the time to check current prices for similar titles. Platforms like eBay can give you an idea of what buyers are willing to pay, so you don’t undersell your games.
  2. Provide Detailed Descriptions: When listing your games, be as specific as possible. Include details like the condition of the game, whether it comes with the original case, and any special features or editions. The more transparent you are, the more likely you are to get a good offer.
  3. Take Quality Photos: High-quality photos can make a big difference when selling your games. Take clear, well-lit photos of the front and back of the game, as well as any included accessories. This will help buyers feel confident in their purchase.
  4. Clean Your Games: If you’re selling physical games, take the time to clean the discs or cartridges. This ensures they work properly and can help increase their value.
  5. Check for Limited Editions or Collectibles: Some video games have limited editions or collectible versions that can fetch a higher price. If you’re selling a rare or special edition game, be sure to highlight that in your listing.

Conclusion

Selling your video games can be a quick and easy way to earn cash while making room for new titles in your collection. With platforms like Paymore, eBay, GameStop, and more, you have a variety of options to get the best price for your games. By choosing the right platform and following best practices for listing your games, you can ensure that you get the most value for your old titles.

Whether you’re looking to sell a few casual games or part with rare collectibles, these platforms give you the tools to turn your video games into cash in no time.

BenlyDesign Cyber Watch Review

The BenlyDesign Cyber Watch S3000-C is not a smartwatch but a new watch on the market for those who want something different be it for nights out or just casual wear.

This is by no means light and that is how I like casual watches I own just as many smartwatches as casual watches and a collector so to speak with lots of old casio watches in my collection and some more.

This has an eye catching name and looks with a not to Elon Musk and his Cybertruck for all his fans out there given the current climate but we keep politics off this site and leave it to other tech sites to air their laundry we are here to talk about technology..

The watch has a pusher each side to access all the features on board there is a sensor on board with turns on the time when you raise your wrist, you have the standard features or any other casual watch but this one stands out in the crowd.

On board there is an OLED display you have a stopwatch, timer dual time, alarm 12/24 clock and temperature and date which is plenty for those who want to switch off from the normal which I do at mostly weekends and instead of having notfications on my wrist I have ZERO to wait and respond to.

You get an extra strap inside so two in total one being the metal and one being silicon so you have a choice of what to pick from and you get extra lugs just in case and on special now you get and extra silicon strap free which is cool.

UiPath Expands Healthcare Automation with New Global Professional Services Capabilities for Electronic Medical Records Platform

UiPath a leading enterprise automation and AI software company has announced that it has negotiated a new global consulting agreement with a major Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform to accelerate professional services programmes for customers in 16 new countries. With the agreement, UiPath significantly expands its professional services capabilities for healthcare organisations and makes customer and partner access to this EMR platform faster and more seamless.

EMRs are the backbone of modern healthcare, connecting patients, providers, and payers with vital information. While these platforms enhance the patient-provider experience, the overwhelming volume of work needed in the EMR means many healthcare providers spend more time with data than with patients, billing administrators are saddled with claims, and IT departments must orchestrate interoperability between services.

With the new agreement, customers and partners can now gain access in days rather than weeks, and UiPath can work more closely with strategic regional partners to provide customers with expanded options in talent and price point. New locations supported beyond the U.S. and Canada include Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, and Sweden, among others.

Automation and AI can help providers by reducing administrative and clinical abrasion, increasing revenue integrity, and lower costs through optimising interoperability and application testing.

“The EMR market for hospital systems alone is expected to grow beyond $20 billion in 2025, which shows the worldwide dependency on major EMR platforms for providers, payers, and patients. Unfortunately, healthcare costs also continue to rise in parallel. Automation and agentic automation are powerful solutions to lower costs and improve efficiencies,” said Jason Warrelmann, Vice President of Industry Practice at UiPath. “With professional services from UiPath and its qualified partners, healthcare organisations have significantly greater access and resources to drive down costs and automate more end-to-end processes with the ultimate goal of better care and more fulfilling work for healthcare professionals.”

Critically, as agentic automation and agentic AI grow in adoption, UiPath can help customers and partners scale their support for agentic solutions. Agentic automation enables software agents, powered by large language models (LLMs), generative AI (GenAI), and large action models (LAMs), as well as other advanced AI, to take autonomous action. Agentic automation agents can perceive their environment, reason and ask questions about it, and formulate and execute a set of actions to achieve specific goals.

People do not need to structure and direct these agents’ work; rather, agents themselves can assess data, recognise patterns, formulate new questions, draw conclusions, structure processes to get the work done, and execute the work.
