Announcement! Whats happening with Nokia News Ireland and twitter account.

Hello folks and good evening,We are making some changes to how things are run around here and its for the best..

Chief Editor JIm o brien has ventured further a field and has set up another blog for covering tech news in ireland so what is happening?

Nothing to extravagant, what is happening is the twitter account @NokiaNewsEire is closing down this weekend for good.

What does it mean? Nothing at all you will still get the latest news and nokianewsireland.com will carry on as per normal giving you the latest news, reviews, interviews, app updates, and exclusives, the only thing is it will be going through my personal twitter account.

You can find me on my twitter @jimboireland a good lot of you follow both so its not a requirement for you guys and thanks for the support.

What is happening is we will be running both blogs aside each other as per norm and no content will be missed, there is some really good things coming for both blogs we feel it will be better to run everything through one account, this also alleviates duplicate posts in your twitter feed which admittedly can be annoyingas regarding retweets etc for some so again its a good move on that respect..

We will also continue to host competitions, some are already set to go and alongside that jimbostechblog has some great things lined up too,so its a win win for everyone.

Nokia X due to hit Ireland Friday 28th March Sim Free via #PhonesOnLine #Nokia #ireland

The Nokia X which is one of the X range from Nokia is due to hit Ireland this Friday according to online retailer phonesonline.ie.

However the price is quite high compared to other pricing we have been given.Albeit new released devices do have a premium price on release this is a bit too much..even for a sim free unit.

Currently the asking price is 219 euros which is quite high compared to the average 80-120 euros which is on offer in certain regions at the current time, the nokia X+ would not even command such a price which is the highest priced nokia X model.

Do you think you will buy it or pay a premium price this high,do tell us below..

#Aldi Medion Lifetab goes on sale Thursday 27th March for €99.00 #MobileTech #JTB

Aldi have a new tablet launching this week at a bargain price of 99 euros called the medion life tab.

With most tabs at this price range they are in short ,you get what you pay for tabs so dont expect a nexus 7 experience or anything, they tend to be sluggish, not having a real app store and full of stuff that well in short you will never use.

This one however is slightly above par at the price range so we think its a good buy for the price and will most likely sell well considered the factors given, there is still cheaper out there but been frank and honest they are not worth it.

These tabs maybe practical for young kids and they are cheap but offer a chance to learn things and develop some skills,as we have had many tabs and tried and tested ive gone through several of the sub 150 euro tabs due to been dropped,or plain and simple useless with constant issues such as freezing up and crashing but as i said its a situation of getting what you pay for.
