We have had our Nokia MD-12 just around a day now and so far we are impressed with the sound that comes out of this little speaker,its actually superb considered its size..

Today we are glad to bring you the first look in Ireland of some new products we received from Nokia.
These are the latest accessories that are now going to hit stores soon,in the EU and hopefully here.
So what have we got..

New phone,new cover of course,we have the Lumia 630 a while now and the great guys at Noreve sent us over the Flip cover case to check out..
Again which is typical from Noreve we can see the presentation of the cover as always i clean,tidy and looks well with the nice packaging and cover to place your flip case in if you happen to want to take it off.
The flip case is quite sturdy and its not bulky as you can see and it offers great protection to your device and its also got a nice feel to it.
When open like above the phone is well secured,does not wobble or move in the housing which surrounds the phone.
The top of the case gives us plenty of space for the headphone socket and a secure clasp which is tight and not loose on the top which feels solid and safe,also its not difficult to open or close.
The end of the case is where the case is joined together and looks a bit bulky but its not,again there is plenty of room for the USB slot with no niggling when putting in or taking out the cable,it does not catch.
The back of the case is plain and smooth and not slippy giving way for the camera and speaker,no sound distortion noticed nor any effect on the camera when taking photos with the case on board the device.
The right hand side of the case gives us plenty of access to the volume keys and the power key we had no issues when using the keys with the case on the 630..
The left hand side has no buttons on the 630 and its completely covered too with the case giving maximum protection to your device which is great.
The top of the case is again plain,not slippy and sports the Noreve log on the top right which we are custom to now,looks elegant and simple..
While we love the cases we would like to see a change away from the flip cases and maybe new designs coming soon such as sleeves or wallet styled cases from Noreve.
One thing Noreve has that other case makers don’t is choice,be it color,texture and design this is a great option for customers,you can customize your case to your needs..

A while back the MD-12 was announced and now its hitting the stores,although we have yet to see them hit shops in Ireland we can always buy online for the UK or other known outlets.
Ireland tends to be somewhat behind when it comes to accessories often not seen many at all available in stores here.
These are very nice and come in several colors matching the Nokia Lumia range to date.

Not near the 39 euros as advertised but we shall see if the prices drop..
Smartphones today are smart some big some small some thick some thin but regardless they can be often complicated and especially for the older generation.
Even house phones today can look difficult to some with more buttons and features been introduced.
The mobile phone is a part of most peoples daily life and for some can be tiresome,remember doro introduced a simplified mobile some time ago? Now we have a touchscreen simplified device called Zilta.
It looks nice and has a generic look if you will between the many devices out there today.
This device offers a tiled look simple UI giving whats needed most at hand without having to scroll through menus and sub menus,often settings and other features are buried.
The device runs on the latest version of Android with play-store access and costs €189 available later in the year,December is the expected release date. you can also pre order the device now for €139.
I think this will do well with the target market and for the not so tech savvy, and wish Zilta,- Jukka & Lari all the best.
If you are a Netflix user there is a phishing scam alert on the cards for the estimated 175,000 users in Ireland.
According to the ITsecurity firm Smarttech.ie, the fake message will ask users to click on a link to update their credit card details, or face termination of their Netflix account.
The email will look like this.
Common sense should pre-vale here and just ignore it,these scams are not new but becoming more commonplace especially of late,so just delete the mail and move along folks.

Samsung have just announced a new device today,not only this but its also running on the much talked about Tizen OS.
Samsung uses the Google OS andriod and may be seeking to move away from it and run with tizen in the future.
The Samsung Z comes with a 4.9-inch screen, 1280×720 Super AMOLED display, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB on board memory plus you can expand with micro SD, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2.1 megapixel front facing camera, LTE, NFC, IR sensor, 2600mAh battery and version 2.2.1 of Tizen.
This device also has a fingerprint and heart rate sensor .
There is nothing really new here to talk about with the devices design and looks and a little more square at the corners and the TIZEN OS has also nothing to write home about either.
The device goes on sale in russia first but no price has been given.
