Over the last few months i have been watching several forums on networks as to the charges applied to mobile users be it on their mobile phone or broadband, this mostly relates to data so the list is not exhaustive as to other cases these rights can help consumers.Yes we can of course monitor our usage, either via your device, and app or the network’s website. But again we should be notified by our network when we approach our limits, this apparently does not always happen. The problem also relates to charges not being explained on a sale should you go over your cap.
Another thing is dashboards on mobile modems how do you access this info and control costs and monitor, everyone is not tech savvy and there is some sympathy allowed for those especially the older generation who are now delving into the internet, they just buy a modem get a contract and sign up and leave the shop.In that process do we see charges and how to use the product explained to the customer ?? You observe this next time you are in a store and tell us below..This applies to both mobile and broadband including fixed.
To avoid a “SHOCK BILL” ask the store to explain in detail everything before they try sell you something else.We are now consuming data more than ever and we need to understand what our limits are. When we go over our data caps here in Ireland we are literally SHAFTED make no mistake about it.
Examples to think of.Netflix Standard definition up to 0.7GB per hour,HD 1.8GB per hour,You tube is popular, again the bitrate varies, watching a 4.5 Mbps 1080p HD movie for 10 minutes equates to 34MB.
The Unfair Terms in consumer contracts has been updated and this may help you should you have an issue later on in your contract.
Consumers have legislative protection from unfair terms in consumer contracts. An unfair term in a standard consumer contract is a term that is significantly weighted against the consumer. In other words, the contract contains a statement that puts the consumer at a disadvantage. A supplier of goods or services can have an advantage over the consumer by including such an unfair term in a contract.
Oral contracts ARE enforceable.
Contracts may be written or oral. It is easier to know precisely what the terms are in a written contract but an oral contract is also enforceable in law. Consumer contracts may differ and there are no hard and fast rules governing what terms should be in a consumer contract.
What is meant by an unfair term?
Terms that give the supplier of goods or services the right to change the terms of the contract.
Terms that limit the liability of the supplier of goods and services: for example no liability for death or personal injury arising out of an act or an omission by the supplier of goods or services.
Terms that put an unfair burden on the consumer: for example a contract with a term stating that a deposit will be kept by the supplier of goods or services if the consumer cancels the contract but does not include a term saying that the supplier of goods or services will pay compensation if it does not fulfil its commitments.
In the case of written contracts, all terms must be written in plain, understandable language. If there is a doubt about the meaning of a term, the meaning that is most favourable to the consumer will prevail. If a term in the contract is found to be unfair, the remainder of the contract may still be legally binding on the consumer and the supplier of goods or services. This means that while one term or condition of the contract may be illegal, the remainder of the contract remains in force.

The hybrids – known as crabots – will be used to lift and shift the pre-fabricated components inside the structure.
The construction plans were reported in the UK publication Architects Journal, which has seen the detailed planning documents drawn up by the search engine giant.
ARTISTS IMPRESSION
The unique structure will be covered by a massive see-through canopy, with highly customisable spaces underneath it with room for around 20,000 employees.
The crabots will be able to move freely underneath the canopy as they go about their duties.

You can download a companion app from the store and simply sync to your watch via bluetooth and its good to go..Find out how we got on over the coming days, check out our unboxing and quick look below.
UNBOXING
Ok the watch is cheap its not meant to be the Moto 360 some people expect these things on products, the moral of the story is you get what you pay for in life this is testament here with the Hanspree Budget watch it does however offer plenty if not more for the beginner or novice if you will. For its first attempt its good mostly besides the sometimes annoying pairing which took so time, the battery life is excellent compared to rivals in its category and means less charging,as an example i have to charge my Moto 360 DAILY which does bother me,its like having a second phone to cater for even though i do carry 2 devices daily its catering for it that annoys most with plugs everywhere..
There is a companion app available in the store which can be downloaded HERE Quite good to have of course and pairing with your device can be a bit slow at time, having tried it on several devices i did find the pairing process tedious at first, after that it was fine on connecting the next morning most of the time..
Feature:
> Pedometer Function and Walking Distance
> Sleep Monitoring
> Message and Call Notification
> Alarm Clock
> OLED Display
> Splash Resistant
> Bluetooth Connectivity
> Long Battery Life
Accuracy.
Well it was good with some hit and misses but this is quite common even with high end alternatives, overall though this needs room for improvement and for its first attempt we can allow for it i guess, there is an array of options to turn on and off so this gives you control over what you want recorded.Steps/Distance/ActivityTime/Calories/Battery Level/Calls/Messages/Medication Reminder/Alarm Timer all included so not to be sniffed at.
Comfort level.
It is big,for me though it was not an issue but its light and does not bother me,compared to a Moto 360 it look cheap, that it is for the price you pay,but overall it was comfortable to wear light and thin. You may find yourself having to twist it back depending how you wear it,some wear watches in general face down i wear mine face up but thats just me.Comparing to a Moto 360 might seem harsh but most come in around the same size, some other trackers maybe of a different shape too like rectangular which i think is a better fitting design as opposed to the typical circle or squared designs we see.
Design
Light, circular and cheap. For its first attempt its not bad but be vigilant. The clasp broke on our review unit which to be fair can happen to anyone, especially when its been used quite often, perhaps a spare clasp could be in the retail package in future to coincide with its second strap that comes with it which is a nice addition to the deal.
Display
Small and minimal, often having to tap the screen multiple times to view details this is annoying, there is more blank space than needed for its first attempt, perhaps this is the base design for going forward which is forgivable, nonetheless pointless space wasted.
Overall thoughts
Not bad really considered the price point (£29.99),considered you could add an extra couple of euros and get something better its does the job mostly well, again this is for people really looking not to spend much money and want to venture into the wearable world and this is ideal in that respect,Also its tough apart from the clasp so you can drop it and not worry,i look forward to whats ahead for this and hopefully the space wasted is going to used well in an upcoming model and then we can see what has been learned and how well the next model has learned from this one.
OK Google has off course made life simpler and now combining with third party apps it is simplifying the tasks and making Android platform on par. The latest addition to this ever growing collection is the support for Shazam. All you need to have are the latest version of the Google app and the most up-to-date versions of the Shazam app from the Google Play Store.
You can get started with Shazam by simply saying “Ok Google, Shazam this song,” to have it search for a song immediately. This will save a user from opening the app and manually tapping the Shazam button to recognize the song. Now cards provide Android users with automatic Shazam updates through the Google Now feed. The Google Play integration makes it easier to play and buy music that users have discovered with the app, allowing direct purchasing from the online store. Users with a Google Play All Access subscription can also instantly stream Shazamed songs right from the app.
The LG watch Urbane is one of the better looking Android Wear accessories (with the Huawei Watch) and now you can add another great function to it, make calls directly on your wrist!
Well, is not that easy as pick up your wrist and call, you’ll need your phone as the Urbane watch lacks cellular connectivity. what this app do is transform your smartwatch into a handsfree accessory.
Something strange happens this time though, this app is only compatible with the Urbane model. LG has two other SmartWatches but for some reason the app in not available for these.
Maybe they’ll made available for all latter, this decision has raise the wrath of plenty LG SmartWatch users that don’t choose the Urbane model.
The LG Urbane was launched in the Google Store for $349 has has some of the better android wear specs you can find.
You can grab an Urbane Watch HERE and the app HERE
Will you choose the Urban Watch now you know this? Or you have one right now and can enjoy this new app?
