Swing traders buy stocks for a couple of days before selling them for profits when the price has increased. This is the aim in the end. If this is something you’re interested in, the best way to get started is to quickly pick the most appropriate stocks to invest in the beginning. Consider first the large-cap stocks since they have a lot of shares that change in the blink of an eye which makes them simple to purchase and sell fast.
In the same way, liquidity is an important element to look at when looking for potential swing trading candidates.
How to Choose Swing Stocks
Then, look for stocks that are relatively stable and don’t have extreme fluctuation. Don’t look for huge moves. Look to buy stocks with a trend that is either way and with constant price actions and with no excitement. It is your goal to earn a living instead of making a profit.
Three stocks were chosen for the reasons of their liquidity and their steady price movement. Begin following these stocks and making small trades on paper. After that, you can move on to real-time trades using real dollars. Train yourself to be aware of the indications that indicate what time to purchase and the best time to sell, but first, learn how to buy shares and remember that market conditions change frequently and the strategy that worked in the past might not always yield profits in the future.
Microsoft Corp.
You can also trade Microsoft ( MSFT) shares in the same way you trade Facebook. It is true that the 50-day moving average acts as a rough guideline to the low trendline, but not quite as well as Facebook’s. The upper trendline is somewhat ragged, and this is an excellent opportunity to discover the sense of the times when the stock will be able to increase and decrease.
But, the stock is trending consistently enough to be able to be sure to remain in the same pattern for a while, and you can learn to set your sell and buy points frequently. Draw a line along the highs to find the approximate amount you need to sell. Keep in mind that the longer the trendline the more likely the likelihood that the line is correct. Around 24 million shares were sold and bought every day until April 2020.
Facebook
Facebook ( FB) is a fantastic option for those who want to learn to invest in trends. If you take a look at the graph of the stock it is evident that when the stock rises up, the low points in the pattern are all aligned. It is possible to sketch an approximate line between the lowest points. This can be the lowest trend line. Each time the stock crosses that line, it moves up and up.
The reason this stock is beneficial, to begin with, is the fact that the top trend line has been pre-drawn for you. Be sure to show the 50-day moving mean. This is the lowest trend line of this stock at the present date.
Similar to drawing the trend line along with the highest points the stock reaches. When Facebook gets to that higher trend line, it’s likely to fall back to its lowest trend line. Be aware that these lines are not exact. It is important to learn the ability to recognize when the price of the stock is set to change, and not depend on a strict adhesion to the line you’ve drawn.
Around 16.3 million shares were traded every day in April 2020. This means it’s simple to locate both buyers and sellers.2 This signifies that the stocks are liquid, and you’re likely to not be trapped should they begin to decline.
Apple Inc.
The shares from Apple Inc. ( AAPL) require more care than MSFT and Facebook. The stock is rising and is a good opportunity to learn how to make money by trading the news. Apple has a variety of product announcements and launches that affect the value of the stock. Be on the lookout for these announcements and observe how the stock reacts. This is an added factor to your trading swing. You can observe the technological indicators on the charts and then combine the data together with the basics of the firm to assist you in timing your trades. More than 24 million shares are sold and bought every day, until April 2020.4
Final Words
For those who are looking to start your swing trading journey, it’s simpler for yourself by selecting stocks that are consistent in displaying well-established charts. Most commonly, large-cap stocks with adequate liquidity, such as MSFT, FB, and AAPL are great locations to begin. Then, you can begin making forecasts about the peak and valleys of the charts and you may soon be in the flow of swing trading.
Fairphone 4 offers an unprecedented five-year warranty, is a unique electronic waste-neutral handset and contains fairly sourced materials, challenging the electronics industry to take a more responsible approach.
Dutch social enterprise Fairphone is proud to announce the launch of its latest device, Fairphone 4 5G, demonstrating that it is possible to place sustainability at the heart of the latest consumer technology. With today’s launch, Fairphone introduces the world’s first modular 5G smartphone that is also a more sustainable, repairable and socially responsible device. The smartphone is the next phase in the company’s journey to develop fair, long-lasting, high-quality devices and establish a market for ethical and fair electronics.
With the launch of Fairphone 4, the company is applying the lessons it has learnt from previous phones to a device with 5G support and new features that provide additional benefits for users. The smartphone is the sustainable choice for customers who don’t want to compromise on the latest technology. Fairphone is raising the bar for itself and the industry by introducing a five-year warranty at no additional cost, to encourage people to use — and enjoy — their phones for longer. This is an unrivalled commitment in the electronics sector and is an addition to Fairphone guaranteeing long-term availability of spare parts, combined with software support. For Fairphone 4, software support is guaranteed until the end of 2025 and includes upgrades to Android 12 and Android 13, but the company aims to extend it even further, until the end of 2027, with upgrades to Android 14 and Android 15 despite support from the chipset supplier expiring. With this unparalleled ambition, Fairphone is aiming to repeat what it succeeded in doing with a previous model: six years of software support from the launch of an Android device.
Eva Gouwens, CEO of Fairphone, outlines the company’s goals for Fairphone 4, stating:
“We’re taking a completely different approach to manufacturing smartphones — we’re changing the way devices are made and used. We want to challenge the traditional way of designing devices, including the notion that thinner is better. The starting point in development was to produce a premium sustainable smartphone that is future-proof, easily repairable, designed to last and therefore more circular and fair. We want Fairphone 4 to be a device that people enjoy keeping for longer and that sets them apart from the crowd. Our customers are people who make independent choices to create positive change, and they choose Fairphone to accelerate that change.”
Alistair Wilson, Director of Partnerships and Devices, EE:“Partnering with leading sustainable manufacturer Fairphone to bring Fairphone 4 5G to our award-winning 5G network, is another part of our commitment to help provide customers with sustainable choices. This includes helping them to make the most of their existing smartphones with annual device MOT’s and same day repair services. The whole EE business, from our mobile network to our 575+ high street stores is powered using 100% renewable electricity, and we have a target to become a net-zero emissions business by 2030 for our own operations”.
Fairphone’s holistic approach to sustainability is what truly sets it apart, making the Fairphone 4 a leading sustainable device on the market. Unlike other industry players, Fairphone focuses not only on its environmental impact but also on its social impact on the electronics supply chain, working towards systemic change. Sustainability and longevity are at the heart of everything Fairphone does, and with every new phone it launches, it sets an example for the smartphone industry.
Fairphone 4 is the first electronic waste neutral handset released. The company will compensate users’ phones and spare parts by responsibly recycling one phone (or an equal amount of small electronic waste) for every Fairphone 4 sold. Alternatively, Fairphone will take back and refurbish at least one other phone to prevent the production of a new one. The phones used for this programme are sourced from Fairphone’s European take-back efforts or from countries without formal recycling infrastructure, and are brought to Europe for environmentally sound recycling.
Fairphone has expanded its list of fair materials, adding six new ones, and is now focusing on 14 key materials from sustainable and fairer sources. For Fairphone 4 they include; Fairtrade-certified gold, aluminiumfrom Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard certified vendors, fair tungsten from Rwanda as well as recycled tin, rare earth minerals and plastics. Fairphone is the first smartphone brand to have a back cover made of 100% post consumer recycled polycarbonate. Fair sourcing means engaging and tackling issues in supply chains, such as child labour and unsafe working conditions, while driving opportunities for positive impact. For miners and workers, this means fair working conditions, such as a safe and healthy working environment, and access to personal protective equipment. Fair sourcing also empowers communities to thrive and protects the environment. Fairphone has made significant progress on this front; about 56% of its original eight focus materials have been fairly sourced in 2020, up from 25% in 2018 and 32% in 2019.
Fairphone developed its innovative living wage programme and aims to expand partnerships with strategic suppliers to improve working conditions for their employees. In 2020, 10,717 people benefited from Fairphone’s social, environmental or economic interventions in mines and factories, almost twice as many as in 2018, when those benefiting totalled 5,296. For example, in 2020, Chinese factory workers for Fairphone’s production supplier received a living wage bonus that was the equivalent of up to more than four months extra salary, to fill the gap between the Chinese minimum wage and living wage.
Important scores and third-party certifications also prove Fairphone 4’s sustainability claims. Fairphone 4 is the first smartphone certified according to TCO Certified, a third-party sustainability certification for IT products. The 6GB/128GB internal storage variant has also received an 85/100 Eco Rating score, a labelling scheme initiated by five leading European mobile operators which evaluates the environmental impact of the entire process of production, transportation, use and disposal of mobile phones. And in France, Fairphone 4 has received 9.3 for its 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage variant for the French Repairability Index. The index aims to encourage consumers to choose more repairable products and manufacturers to improve the repairability of their products. In addition, Fairphone is now an official member of the Right to Repair campaign.
Since its launch in 2013, Fairphone has been working to transform the electronics sector into an industry that cares for people and planet. The industry faces a growing stream of electronic waste caused by the 1.4 billion mobile phones sold each year. The average phone has a short lifespan of 2-3 years. In addition, only 15% of discarded phones are collected for recycling. The short-sighted attitude affects every part of the industry and supply chain. In addition, making smartphones requires natural resources and these minerals are limited. Mining these materials can have a negative environmental impact. Extracting the necessary materials for a smartphone can also have serious social consequences, as it could be associated with child labour or dangerous working conditions. By establishing a market for ethical electronics, Fairphone is prompting the electronics industry to act more responsibly.
With each generation of its mobile phones, Fairphone has introduced the industry to its latest concept of fairness. Fairphone 1 marked the company’s debut in the industry as a force for change— the first smartphone company attempting to create an ecosystem for easy repairability by offering all spare parts on its online store. Fairphone 2 was the first modular phone on the market, a revolutionary concept to increase repairability and longevity. With Fairphone 3, the company widened its reach and proved to the industry that sustainability is a viable business model.
Fairphone 4 offers a step up in tech specifications. Users have a choice of 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, allowing the phone to handle the most complex tasks with ease. Running on Android 11, Fairphone 4 features a fast, powerful and reliable Qualcomm chipset with future-proof 5G, to support the company’s principle of longevity. It boasts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with Pixelworks technology for a smooth and immersive user experience. The display is made from Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for great durability and resistance to drops and scratches. Its 3,905 mAh battery is replaceable and can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes (with minimum 20W charger). Designed with Swedish design agency Above, Fairphone 4 is distinctive yet stylish and sleek, sporting a tactile back cover and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device features the company’s highest-quality camera to date, designed to let users focus on what matters most: image quality and true-to-life colours in every frame and every setting. The camera comes with a pair of premium lenses — a 48MP main camera for all the details and a 48MP ultrawide camera for the bigger picture — and to top it off, a 25MP selfie camera. It has fast autofocus with laser accuracy and advanced image stabilization for smooth video recording. The camera software makes for an intuitive, effortless experience.
Fairphone is also expanding its portfolio beyond smartphones. Along with other accessories and spare parts, Fairphone is launching true wireless earbuds from a licensed design, made with 30% recycled plastics and with Fairtrade Gold integrated into its supply chain, another first in Fairphone’s growing portfolio. It’s Fairphone’s first step in the journey to increase the level of sustainability in the audio segment.
Gouwens concludes: “We’re raising the bar for ourselves and the industry, showing that doing things more sustainably makes good business sense. Fairphone 4 is a unique product: the first ever electronic waste neutral device and with a five-year warranty. It shows the industry a different way of encouraging longevity and fairness while going way beyond the accepted standards.Fairphone 4 will be our biggest phone release to date, as interest in sustainable devices continues to grow, reflected in the hundreds of thousands of devices we’ve sold with each new phone. With Fairphone 4, we took what we’ve done in the past and packaged it into a future-proof product that takes the challenge for the entire industry to the next level.”
Fairphone 4 will be available for pre-order on 30 September from Fairphone’s website and selected partners, at a suggested retail price of €579 or €649. The two variants of the device will be released on 25 October and will be available in Europe from a wide distribution network of (online) retailers and operators.

Over the years, technology has evolved significantly and seeped into various sectors. For instance, essay writers now use digital editing tools and software to practice their craft. The educational sector hasn’t been left out either. Today, more and more schools are ditching traditional methods of teaching for a more digital experience.
While this is undoubtedly a great trend, it begs the question: why is technology becoming more important in education? Why are teachers and students alike opting for a technology-based learning experience instead of sticking to the traditional marker-and-whiteboard method?
Well, in this article, we’ll take a closer look at the growing importance of technology in education and how these tools are revolutionizing the classroom experience.
Why Do Students Need Technology in the Classroom?
Contrary to popular opinion, educational technology is not another avenue for teens and children to spend hours on smartphones or tablets. Rather, it broadens student’s learning opportunities and helps teachers interact with students even better. Here are further reasons why students need technology in the classroom:
It makes it easier to access learning resources
Sometimes, after a seemingly easy lesson, students might feel overwhelmed or confused about a concept. Visiting a library to get more information doesn’t always work because of the numerous protocols involved in reading and borrowing from a physical library.
However, technology provides students with easy access to numerous online learning resources. This way, they can research by themselves and become independent thinkers. This increased access to learning resources also helps to ensure that students don’t lag in class. When students can get access to all the simplified resources they need, the learning gap is bridged with a level ground for everyone.
Improves the overall learning experience
Studies have shown that the average teenager has an attention span of about ten to twenty minutes. Since most classes typically hold for an hour or more, you’ll find many students drifting off or falling asleep while learning.
However, technology can improve the learning experience and make it more interesting for students. Teachers can now develop creative and original lesson plans using technological tools such as artificial intelligence and drones. Imagine going on a virtual field trip using a drone and educational bot. Sounds more interesting than a traditional Geography lesson, doesn’t it? Well, that’s exactly how technology can liven and reshape the classroom experience.
Increases their personal learning opportunities
Using technology for education can help students learn and assimilate concepts on a personal, one-on-one basis instead of the collective learning experience we’re all used to. Since technology enables students to research complex concepts and subjects on their own, they get to access more personal learning opportunities and learn at their own pace without relying on their teachers and peers for support.
How technology is breaking barriers in the educational system
Since the introduction of education technology, tech tools have been slowly but steadily breaking down barriers in the educational system. For starters, the cost of education has significantly reduced thanks to the availability of online degrees and courses. Students can now get a degree from the comfort of their homes instead of commuting daily to class.
Similarly, they can now access ebooks, journals, and reports online without having to buy physical textbooks for their studies.
Another way technology is revolutionizing the educational system is by increasing teachers’ productivity and efficiency. For instance, teachers can implement helpful digital tools that can help them assess assignments faster and better. This way, less time will be spent on grading assignments and tests.
Educational technology challenge
Although technology has been increasingly helpful in classrooms, there are still some educational technology challenges that can’t be overlooked. For instance, while some students thrive in online education, others are more comfortable in the traditional classroom setting and may lag behind when it comes to virtual learning.
There’s also the issue of privilege and poverty. Educational technology is great, but just how many students and teachers can afford it? Less privileged students who don’t have access to personal laptops or the internet, for instance, will definitely have a hard time in a tech-centric classroom.
Finally, a lot of experts and parents have raised concerns about excessive screen time for students. The average teenager already spends hours on their smartphones, computers, and video games. Using education technology will increase their daily screen time, and this could lead to health issues such as back problems and poor eyesight.
Final Thoughts
Technology has been very beneficial in today’s classroom. Not only does it give students increased access to learning opportunities, but it also improves the overall learning experience for both teachers and students alike. However, to harness the full potential of educational technology, we need to collectively eradicate financial barriers and put in more equitable measures for students.
Nowadays, businesses rely on modern technologies for their operations. The employees and customers have higher demands, so your IT team might not meet them. All those issues need to be addressed quickly and profoundly, so your team might not manage to keep up unlike the professional software development team. That will definitely cope with this task If you don’t solve your customer’s inquiry promptly, your customer satisfaction is put at risk. In addition, your employees can’t dedicate their time and attention to essential tasks. Knowing that IT problems can reduce employee’s productivity and customer satisfaction, we highlight the importance of an IT help desk. This service is beneficial for any business that wants to secure a steady workflow and improve its service. In this post, we reveal how an IT help desk will address your business’s issues.
Keep updated with the latest technologies
We saw how technologies changed drastically to answer the business’s needs. While modern technology moves the company forward, it leaves business owners with tedious tasks. Every leader faces challenges related to the implementation of new technology, such as training their employees. When you use the services of an IT help desk, you don’t have to invest in expensive training and courses.
Working on various issues simultaneously
Issues of IT nature can obstruct the working process and end up costing a lot. When you work with an IT help desk that includes responsive support (L1, L2, L3), you will feel relieved knowing that an expert team is always ready to help. The expertise and readiness deliver prompt solutions while still maintaining high standards.
Your IT team wasn’t designed to solve many problems simultaneously. In addition, they will lose their precious time in the communication process. Since expanding your IT team is very costly, it is better to outsource the service to professionals. The experts will tackle the issues through a live chat in no time.
Keep track of the issues
In many cases, businesses experience repetitive IT issues. If they don’t have a tool for collecting and analyzing data, they won’t keep track of the recurring problems. This means that companies will waste their time on solving repetitive issues instead of addressing the root. Most of the IT issues are related to resetting passwords or other simple tasks. Around 20% to 50% of the IT desk calls are about addressing this common issue. A business can eliminate this problem by implementing self-service tools such as password management tools. This makes the process straightforward while saving time. An IT help desk can provide the proper tools to automate the process and allow for self-service. In addition, they can offer information on how to solve more minor issues.
No need for training
Hiring new employees is difficult when we speak about the IT industry. Employee turnover is a significant issue for businesses, no matter how hard they try to retain their workers. If your IT employees retire or leave, you are obligated to find new ones with the same expertise. Business owners know that new employees won’t stick for a long time. After they gain the needed skills and knowledge, they might leave for another company. When you work with an IT help desk, you don’t need to regrout, train, or invest in employees. The service provider gathers proven professionals with specific expertise, so you don’t need to invest in them.
Final thoughts
An IT help desk will solve any business’s IT pains. Leaving the work in the hands of professionals will eliminate the need for investing in the workforce while your business process flows uninterrupted.
