DxO, one of the most innovative companies in the photography and image editing industry, has announced the immediate release of the Nik Collection 2.3 by DxO, a major upgrade to the famous plugin suite for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Elements. After adding 42 new pre-sets to the suite, improving support for high-resolution screens in Windows, and ensuring RAW-file compatibility through DxO PhotoLab 2, DxO has now added 10 new iconic black-and-white films to the Silver Efex Pro 2 plugin, breathing new life into analog photography.
Silver Efex Pro: the ultimate plugin for black and white conversions
Creating digital black-and-white photos is much more than just desaturating colours. With its 48 pre-sets, Silver Efex Pro 2 is the ultimate plugin from the Nik Collection by DxO for achieving striking images. Its unique algorithms and extensive adjustment palette make it possible to create extraordinary photos based on dark room techniques. Users can adjust luminosity and contrast, highlight whites, add colour filters, and more. In addition, its exclusive range of 28 analog films are modelled after iconic, traditional styles, including Ilford Delta 100 Pro, Kodak Tri-X 400TX, and Fuji Neopan 1600. Its grain adjustment tool makes it possible to make minute changes to grain density and harshness for an even more realistic finish. Finally, with U POINT technology, adjustments can also be applied locally.
Iconic brands like Polaroid, Bergger, and Rollei
The Nik Collection 2.3 by DxO incorporates 10 new film types that simulate some of the most iconic black-and-white films ever created, including Adox Silver Max 21, Agfa Scala 200x, Bergger BRF 400 Plus, Foma 100, Fuji Neopan 400, Ilford Pan 100 and 400, Polaroid 667 and 672, and Rollei 100 Tonal.
Each film has been carefully selected for its artistic merits or historical appeal. Adox Silver Max 21 was chosen for its fine grain and ability to produce deep blacks and a wide range of greys, making it the perfect option for portraits. Bergger BRF 400 Plus was picked for its moderate contrast and average grain, which makes it well suited for landscape photos. Foma 100, a classic panchromatic film with a fine grain and high resolution, offers a wide range of greys even in bright light, making it an excellent choice for landscape and studio photography. Finally, Ilford 100 and 400 were tapped for their versatility and sharpness, while Rollei 100 Tonal offers a fine grain and soft contrasts, which are popular among architecture fans.
Photographers will also enjoy rediscovering Fuji Neopan 400, a film designed for street photography, flash less indoor portraiture, and reporting that was taken off the market in 2014. The suite also features the black-and-white slide film Agfa Scala 200x, a style that was discontinued in 2007 and captures exceptional form and razor-sharp details, as well as the eminently popular Polaroid 667 and 672 films, which stopped being produced in 2008.
Dan Hughes was entrusted with designing the finishes. Hughes is a lecturer in photography science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a former Nik Software trainer, and the creator of the 42 “En Vogue” styles included in the Nik Collection 2 by DxO. To accurately reproduce the grain, contrast, and nuanced greys in these exceptional films, Dan Hughes based his calculations on photos taken under both laboratory and real-life conditions.
Compatible with macOS Catalina and the latest versions of Adobe software
To ensure the best possible user experience, the Nik Collection 2.3 by DxO was optimized so it could be fully compatible with macOS Catalina as well as the latest versions of Adobe Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Photoshop Elements.
Price & Availability
The Nik Collection 2.3 by DxO is now available for download on the DxO website (https://shop.dxo.com/en) for £125 for the full version and for £69 for the upgrade. Users who purchased Nik Collection 2 by DxO after June 2019 may upgrade their software for free.
Banngood have sent us these new true wireless which will run you around €28 which is not bad from the performance I have got from them,If you like bass heavy earbuds there are one to look at for sure. There is one or two shortcomings but we will see more later.
These come in a nice charge case with a digital cluster on top to show you your battery level, I like this idea and it is starting to come on to many models these days. You will get around 150hrs in total from one charge and this case can also charge your phone and it also acts as mobile stand, see this in the video.
The sound quality is excellent considering the price and if you like bass these come with it and I love it, there is no app and there is no need for one the sound on these is well balanced across the board but with that extra bass and I like this effect personally but overall I was impressed with the sound quality and from my usual playlist I was happy with the balance, Call quality is great and comes through on both sides and they even call out the number when it is ringing, again I like this feature.
You have your usual assistant on deck you can skip, reverse, play, pause, answer and hang up on the keys, there is no volume control however but this is something we see quite often and does not really bother me as most use their smartphone to change volume anyway. The only other issue I found is they will not work on their own so if one is in the case they power off,If left out of the case they work individually, again not a huge deal for me but for others to think about, they fall short in one or two areas but rise to the challenge elsewhere.

Ergotron, a global movement company focused on designing and manufacturing kinetic work environments, today announced that the JŪV™ Wall product range is now available from all Ergotron official distribution channels in the EMEA region. The award-winning range, which previewed at last year’s Orgatec world trade fair for working environments in Cologne, following its debut in the US at NeoCon 2018, the leading show for work design solutions, inspires movement and creativity in office designs, maximising underutilised spaces.
Designed with Ergotron’s patented Constant Force™ technology, the non-electric JŪV™ Wall mount supports agility by allowing users to move quickly and quietly from sit to stand, eight to ten times faster than traditional height-adjustable tables. It offers the full BIFMA ergonomic range – an industry-first for a non-electric adjustable surface – and is built with a fully concealed cable management system, giving users instant access to power and data without sacrificing aesthetics.
The announcement of JŪV™ Wall’s launch in EMEA comes as businesses become more aware of the positive impact of well-designed workspace solutions on employee health and productivity, considering the role that technology plays as well. “Today’s innovative work environments are characterised by multifunctional layouts, collaborative spaces and continuous evolvement of the deployed IT equipment. We understand these modern workplace requirements and we further support the user by bringing technology to the point of use, making sure that their health and wellbeing is improved in the process,” said Paul Zuidema, Ergotron’s Managing Director, EMEA.
“JŪV™ brings fresh energy into the workplace, not only through the rejuvenation of otherwise unused or overlooked spaces in work environments, but also helping businesses meet corporate health and wellbeing objectives by integrating natural movement into employee workspaces.”
JŪV™ Wall range is available in a variety of size and colour combinations; the JŪV™ engine in Graphite or Snow White, and the worksurface in Birch Wood or Icy White. Customers can always stay connected and work efficiently, thanks to direct access to power and charging adding the special JŪV™ power accessory. Next to that, they can complete their ergonomic experience with the monitor riser accessory available for up to two computer screens.

The EOZ Audio ICON are the latest on offer from the company which have told me they have worked hard on to create this new product and the question you ask is have they done so. For the price segment and the features on offer they have certainly done it for me in all areas but there is one or two things that could be changed going forward and this not only applies to these.
They come with everything out of the box with USB-C charging which for many today is perfect and forward thinking, they have Bluetooth 5.0 for better connectivity and you will get around 30-40ft of this depending on your surroundings so this means you do not need to have your phone strapped on your hip either when in use at home or in the office.
They are light, slim and stylish though most see this format as doucehbag status and do not like the stem effect, Personally I could not care less once they sound good and these do across the board. You have good battery life and lots of features with simple taps to control these easily although some muscle memory might be required for some to hit the right spot.
Need a job in IT or tech click the image below.
You can skip and reverse tracks with two taps, you can play and pause music and answer or hang up on calls, Most importantly they work individually so this means you can use one while another is charging should you need be,the other thing is calls come through both sides for that stereo effect and call quality is just brilliant here, In fact all voice on these are even if you watch Netflix or you tube for example people speaking is one area that these shine in,there is also no lag latency here either or lip sync to keep it simple.
The sound quality is great, good dynamic range and overall a good sound stage with good separation easily heard and direction which for me is important. My track playlist is on my YouTube channel which covers all genres. After putting nearly 40 hours into these for the money you cant go wrong it is that simple,Bass is not strong and there is no app and I would like to see more colours but this is a common trend with true wireless but there is others out there costing much more than these that do not offer so for the price you pay you cant complain at all. So are they worth the money?? DAAM yes.. I cant wait to see what the company have coming next.
An overkill for me personally in my office space but for anyone in an working environment this is a must have for multiple reasons. In Dublin today we now have more open space offices and units where multiple businesses work under one roof or even on the same floor and this headset is ideal for the likes too.
With multiple connectivity options and the option to use for conference calls this is an ideal way to connect and conduct seamless transfer between devices or add devices to the conversation, You can add up to 4 of the same headset for conference calls by simply joining in and you can also connect other devices via bluetooth and this all works fast and to the point. You can connect to your mains switch if you have one or simply connect to your PC,tablet or smartphone which was my use case scenario and the quick one touch transfer works a treat for no loss of time or productivity.
The ANC works well too, Where I live it can be quite noisy sometime given I have a soundproof house I like the windows open for some air and this is my issue at home and using the ANC works a treat keeping the outside out where it belongs. Testing indoors with doors shut etc I was able to keep chit chat and TV out of the mix too with the ANC on so for an office space this is what you need to avoid distraction.
It will not win any awards for the music fan but it is good enough but it is not aimed at such or sold to perform as a proper pair or headphones would but they work and are loud enough too so you can use for both work and personal it is up to you, Many people I know do this in fact and this headset is fine, Where it shines is the call quality this is top of the class with crystal clear calls really enhanced too making it feel like a virtual reality experience with a VR headset with optics this does this with the voice clarity.
