Effective Software Development Process Steps

It is evident that technology has infiltrated every aspect of human endeavor. We are rapidly dependent on it for our daily survival. As a result, software development and is becoming in demand because it is the backbone of technology. Every machine we see and use today is an offshoot of software development, and even in years to come, the story wouldn’t be any different.

The software development process is complex, but the results would be overwhelming if one develops an organized approach to it. Organizing the process means that each aspect is divided into tiny manageable bits. With dedication and commitment, you can embark on software development and avoid some fundamental errors bedeviling the system.

You’ll find these steps helpful when embarking on any software development project:

Conduct feasibility study

Like in other fields of study, you need to research your market to know if your invention is worth the stress. One of the critical steps to consider is to know if the need exists in the first place or not. If it doesn’t, scrap the idea, but if it does, identify it and determine whether your project can solve the problem. You can also determine the cost implication of carrying out the project and how you would recover your investment after the job is done.

Analyze and Determine the requirements

You don’t identify a problem without coming up with the resources to solve it. Analyzing the problem means that you interact with the end-users and prospective users. You can also undertake a thorough review of the intended software to understand the outstanding features and functionalities it should come with. At this point, you’ll know the cost implications of your project and how to raise funds.

Consider the industry best practices

When designing software, consider the industry’s best practices. Dr. Huizinga recommends a customized and agile process with emphasis on pictorial documentation for requirements and technical documentation. You must follow the standard template else; you would go overboard with your ideas, which would have ripple effects on your work.

Design

During the design stage, embedded companies or programmers put together a detailed design document that outlines how the software would meet a particular need. It is advisable to use mock-ups to accompany the design document to illustrate user-interface elements. In some cases, you may require customization to meet specific needs.

Measure and track the progress

If there is no proper technology infrastructure, it isn’t easy to collect and measure critical project data. As a result, software projects cannot be effectively managed. Project indicators help to ensure the prompt identification of existing or potential problems, thereby allowing them to be rectified early. When bugs are allowed to linger for a long time, they become problematic in the long run. These project indicators can be used to determine product quality and deployment readiness.

Development

The first five stages lead to the buildup of the sixth one. At the development stage, the design document is translated into actual software. If you have gotten the first five stages right, you ought not to make mistakes at this stage. At this point, you’re convinced that the invention would meet the needs of who it was intended for. Project managers usually demand feedback on the user experience, ease of use, task completion times, and other details related to the user interface.

Automation

After developing the software, the next step is to automate repetitive tasks like regression tests, static code analysis scans, and code builds. Automation reduces human-prone errors after the software is implemented. It also facilitates the use of best practices and the collection of project-related data.

Testing

When you’re done with the first seven stages, it is pertinent that you test what you have done so far. All the features should be tested to ensure they are functioning optimally. Testing also varies depending on the procedures adopted by the individual or organization. Testing is a broad subject that consists of staging and quality assurance. When the software is in general use, any bugs found at this point will be addressed critically, and urgent fixes would be done almost immediately.

Implementation

It is one thing to map out a plan, and it is another to implement it. Implementing all these tips above is critical to success. Understanding the importance of a well-thought-out development process places you at a competitive advantage over those who don’t know. If you have ever thought of being like the big wigs in your field, you should look back at those plans you failed to implement and see how they have contributed to your stagnation.

The software development process is a systematic one aimed at delivering the best to end users, it’s credo of development companies like Sirin Software. It is shaped and adjusted to meet market demands. What matters the most is that the final product gets to the customer exactly how they want it. Better still, the end product should exceed the customer’s expectations.

SEO Mistakes: Digital Marketing Disasters Your Business Should Avoid

In 2021, digital marketing is a must for virtually every business. But because this area evolves so rapidly, it can be hard to keep up with the best practices.

That’s especially true when it comes to search engine optimization, or SEO.

In order for your website to be readily found online, it needs to be optimized for search engines. But if you aren’t careful, you could easily make a mistake with your SEO strategy.

To help you avoid that frustration (and potentially a Google penalty!), we’re sharing just a few of  the most common mistakes business owners make with their SEO and also seo business from home

Expecting Immediate Results

If you’re constantly asking yourself why you aren’t seeing progress with your SEO strategy, you may need to examine your expectations first.

There are a number of reasons why your strategy may not be working. But it might also be that the strategy is working the way it’s supposed to.

In the latter scenario, the problem actually lies in your own realistic expectations.

With certain kinds of digital marketing, such as pay-per-click ads, you might start to see results within a few days.

But SEO is meant to be a long-term strategy. It’s not designed to pay off in a day, a week, or even a month.

Although some changes can help right some SEO wrongs rather quickly, you probably won’t start to see real movement with your keywords for at least a few months.

In other words, you need to stay the course. Don’t become discouraged if you don’t see improvements immediately. Keep the faith and remember that this is how SEO is intended to work.

If you let your unrealistic expectations get the best of you, you might be inclined to discontinue your SEO efforts or take steps that could undo all your hard work.

While you wait for your SEO strategy to take effect, focus on other aspects of your marketing. SEO works even better when you combine it with other promotional techniques.

You can also invest some time in educating yourself about the latest SEO trends and developments. Find a good Search Engine Optimisation Course, read blogs from trusted sources, and follow industry experts. This will not only help you stay informed, but it can also give you new ideas for your own SEO strategy.

As long as you put consistent effort into your SEO and are following Google’s best practices, your efforts will pay off. It just won’t happen overnight.

Targeting the Wrong Kinds of Keywords

Optimizing your site with relevant keywords can allow your brand to show up more readily in search results.

But just because a keyword accurately describes your business, products, or services, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should be targeting it as part of your strategy.

An overly broad keyword, for example, may simply be too competitive to give you the results you want. You’ll be going up against large, established companies with unlimited budgets.

What’s more, the people searching for those keywords might not even be your target audience. Despite an impressive search volume, that keyword may not result in more conversions for your business. And that’s really the end goal of SEO – to help make your business more successful!

It may be wiser for you to target long-tail keywords that align with your location or what your ideal customers are actually searching for. Be sure to conduct thorough keyword research and figure out which terms your competitors are (and aren’t!) targeting.

It’s normal to switch up the keywords you target on a semi-regular basis. But if you’re simply guessing with your keyword optimizations, it’s time to gain some real insight into the terms that will result in quality traffic and sales. Otherwise, you’ll risk wasting your time and money with nothing to show for it.

Ignoring Website Issues

Believe it or not, existing issues with your website can hurt your ability to rank in search engine results.

Since Google wants to provide a positive experience for web users, search engines use a number of technical website features as ranking signals.

Issues like slow site speed, confusing navigation, page errors, broken links, poor site security, unexpected layout shifts, lack of mobile-friendliness, interactivity delays, and intrusive interstitials can all make it harder for your site to rank, even if you put a lot of effort into on-site optimization.

You’ll need to fix any website issues that exist if you want to improve your site rankings in SERPs. It’s best to run a website audit and assess whether a redesign is necessary.

Ultimately, it won’t matter if you write awesome content and optimize with the right keywords if your website drives customers away. You’ll need to address any website problems that exist in order to provide a great experience for visitors.

Doing Your SEO Yourself

As a business owner, you probably wear a number of hats. You might even think that if you don’t take care of something yourself, it’ll never get done.

But that attitude can be dangerous when it comes to SEO. Because trends change so quickly and this area of digital marketing is so vast, it’s easy to make a mistake that can hurt your business.

DIY might sound like a good way to save time and money. But this isn’t a simple home improvement project. It’s the future of your brand and your ability to compete.

For something with such high stakes, you really can’t afford to take a do-it-yourself approach. Instead, it’s best to work with a reputable white label SEO company that can devise, execute, and monitor your marketing strategy.

That way, you can concentrate on the business operations that really matter without sacrificing your ability to promote your brand.

While there’s nothing wrong with expanding your knowledge of SEO, it’s best to leave marketing  your business to the professionals. Choosing the DIY route will almost certainly result in disaster.

Avoid These SEO Mistakes For Long-Term Success

Unfortunately, it’s not hard to make an SEO mistake that can derail your marketing efforts. But once you know the most common mistakes to avoid, you can take the right preventive steps. Setting realistic expectations, targeting the right keywords, fixing website issues, and working with a professional firm can set you up for long-term success.

A Handy List Of Tech Terms You’ve Probably Heard But Don’t Know The Meaning Of

Have you ever been in a situation where people are tossing tech terms and you’ve heard them before but you don’t know what they mean? There’s plenty of common terms we hear every day in meetings or classrooms that we are not familiar with. Here’s a list of the top terms you’ve probably heard but don’t know the meaning of.

1. The Internet vs. the Web

It’s very true, these terms may seem familiar but there’s a big difference between them.

The internet is basically a stream of different networks connected with each other globally so they can communicate and provide for each other. Computers are genuinely faster than anything, they perform millions of calculations and transfer information within seconds. Whereas the web can specify the information in the form of secret folders and documents, these different folders, specifically, are referred to as web pages.

Briefly, the internet is a set of connections and instruments which helps the web to perform or generate data with the help of these instruments.

2. App vs. Software

We are all familiar with the term “Applications”. An App or an application is actually a set of commands which performs a specific function in our mobile phones, laptop, or Macs. Anything performed in a system is basically done by software. So, apps are basically a type of software, but they are way different from the software which runs our iOS, Android, Windows, drivers, or any other utilities within the system.

Terms like exabytes are also common when talking about cloud storage and space. They essentially are made up of bytes and can store around 1 billion Gigabytes of space. Data storage or cloud storage capabilities of any device or platform hold immense importance in the tech world.

Those software are different because they operate the computer as a whole and allow these apps to run in the system. In short, apps cannot be run without software.

3. HTML vs. CSS

HTML or Hypertext Markup Language is the language used to compose website pages and describe their structure. It involves many components like passages, headers, and links. These components provide a structure for the web pages and display different images, fonts, and videos.

Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) advises internet browsers on how to arrange and style an HTML record. It is a simple method of adding style to web documents. At the end of the day, CSS enhances the presentation of the whole record. You can adjust different font colors, animations, and all the different types of things to make your record look flawless and well presented. To lay it out plainly, HTML holds the substance set up, and CSS makes it look appealing.

4. UX vs. UI

People believe that user interface and user experience are basically the same, but they are not. A user interface is basically a built product that communicates with the users to let the users know the expertise of a given website. UI tells how the whole operation is organized. On the other hand, user experience is our experience as a user with the presented website. UX are your thoughts of how you feel about the operation and how it looks. So as an example, the look of the new version of your Instagram feed is a part of UX, but it involves a change to UI.

5. Front End vs. Back End

The specific term front end refers to the user interface which is usually created by using a combination of technologies like HTML, CSS, or java scripts. The main focus of the front end is on what the users will visually see when they open their applications or web pages.

The front finish of a site is the visible part and is responsible for the look and feel of a web page. This incorporates HTML and CSS and the wide range of various things you take a look at in your program. The social media posts that update or the Google search terms that autocomplete are all due to the front-end programming language JavaScript.

The back end refers to the database, application, or server which provides the data on request, and is handled by people often called programmers or web developers. The back finish of a site is the part that makes it work. It incorporates several applications that instruct sites, and users cannot see the back end work but it is the code that communicates the database information to the browsers or the web pages.

On YouTube, for example, the appearance of your channel is the front end, and all the information is put away in the back end.

These are some terms mentioned in our daily lives, commonly heard over the TV, in our classroom, or in job meetings as well. It’s good to have a basic understanding so we don’t get confused every time somebody tosses one of these terms around. You probably heard them before but never knew their meaning, so go ahead and get yourself familiar with them.

Tech Review – Tronsmart Apollo Air ANC earbuds #Tronsmart #ApolloAir #Tech

Tronsmart have sent us some of their latest tech and the first in is the Apollo air which we have been testing out the past while and these are an excellent pair of earbuds to own. They do have another version of these but we will come back to them at a later date. The Apollo Air will run you around 60 euro which is not bad and the sound quality here with these are excellent and to top it off they now have an app which enhances the soundstage even more and also these a nice and loud.

They come with a nice sized case too and fits in any pocket giving you around 20 hours in total playtime with case and around 5 hours with one charge this is less when you use ANC and high volumes, there is no wireless charging here which is fine but would have made these more a sweeter deal but still great value for money.

The earbuds are a comfortable fit but slight protrude from the ears with a long chamber but this is normal and there is others out there that stick out much more and this to be honest doesn’t bother me. For calls these are also good but it is the music and how it sounds is what is most important. When it comes to modes we have three options here and they are ideal for indoors outdoors and commutes and so on giving you ambient mode ANC on/off.

These really do get loud highs lows and mids are good, listening to music is great and also for films You Tube and Netflix etc they really shine in action movies with great direction and they give a near like headphone experience. The app as mentioned above really enhances the overall experince here with choices like 3d,deep bass, vocal, rock and much more to chose from you will see the full details in the video review. There is no lag latency to be noted either during my testing.

Controls are a breeze to use here given you might find them sensitive to begin with, everything is here from skip and reverse tracks .volume control and voice assistant and you can adjust the settings to your requirement in the app.

For the money here you cant go wrong and they come in two colours.

  • 35dB full frequency hybrid active noise cancelling.
  • Industry-leading Qualcomm QCC3046 chip.

Voi launches world-first large scale e-scooter trial of computer vision technology #escooter #micromobility #Voi

Voi, Europe’s largest shared e-scooter operator, today launches the world’s first large scale pilot of computer vision on e-scooters, installing AI technology that can detect when an e-scooter leaves the road and rides on a pavement, or when the vehicle is parked incorrectly. The technology could also detect if an e-scooter is standing up and parked in a rack, thereby helping to alleviate parking issues.

Voi, which hopes to operate in Ireland when regulations allowing for the safe use of e-scooters and the development of shared escooter schemes is passed later this year, is working with Irish micromobility startup Luna, whose technology offers real-time lane segmentation and pedestrian detection for scooters, similar to that available in high-end cars.

Voi e-scooters fitted with the new technology were tested on Stockholm streets today in advance of deployment in Northampton later this month, to demonstrate the potential of the technology which will increase the safety of e-scooters by fixing the problem of pavement riding. The technology will also provide tools to identify problem areas and adapt infrastructure for micromobility, by conveying real-time data about how the vehicles are being used.

The ‘smart camera’ hardware and electronics have been honed by Luna and Voi over the last 6 months, to integrate with the latest Voi vehicles, while the computer vision algorithms have been trained extensively using hours of video footage from Northampton.

The first pilot will begin this month in Northampton in the UK, where Voi has an exclusive licence to operate as part of the British government’s national trial of e-scooters, which started last year and runs until spring 2022.

Two phase pilot

Voi will initially install cameras on a number of e-scooters in Northampton for a two-phase pilot starting in July. In the first phase, a controlled user group will road test the computer vision technology to collect real-time visual information on the environment the e-scooter is travelling through, as well as detecting pedestrians in the path of the e-scooter. The technology will also be able to detect the surface that an e-scooter is being ridden on, such as a bike lane, pavement, or roadway, and alert the rider accordingly with an audible alarm if they are riding on the footpath.

In the second phase of the trial later in the summer, about 100 cameras will be installed on the publicly available scooter fleet in Northampton. As well as the audible alert, this phase of the pilot will explore the potential to automatically slow scooters if inappropriate riding is detected on footpaths or in heavily pedestrianised areas.

Data from the pilot will be shared with the council so that it can collect a detailed record of how and where the e-scooters are being ridden, helping Voi to correct bad behaviour and enabling the city to have data driven insights into e-scooter use and the interactions with other modes of transport and pedestrians. By 2022, Luna expects to be able to integrate its camera technology directly into the stem or handlebars of the e-scooters for rent.

Fredrik Hjelm, co-founder and CEO of Voi Technology, said: “With computer vision e-scooters can be trained to see and recognise situations that are hazardous. This world-first pilot will set new standards of safety for this new form of transport. Having helped riders to take more than 60 million rides across Europe we understand deeply the issues involved in e-scooter safety and are always looking for ways to do better. We are very proud to be the first e-scooter operator to incorporate the computer vision technology at scale for the benefit of our riders, pedestrians and authorities and as we hope to expand our award-winning fleet into Ireland are delighted to be collaborating with the team in Luna on this important pilot.”

Andrew Fleury, co-founder & CEO, Luna, said: “With this trial, we look forward to demonstrating how computer vision equipped e-scooters can make a verifiable difference to rider compliance and sidewalk riding behaviour in cities. We’ve noticed cities across the world requesting technological solutions to challenges like pavement riding and it’s fantastic to be working with such a safety conscious operator like Voi, in order to develop market ready solutions. The value of the smart city data that can be generated by vision equipped scooters is only beginning to be understood by micromobility stakeholders, and we’re excited to be exploring these early use cases with Voi.”

Improving e-scooter compliance

Voi will use the Luna technology to improve compliance not just in terms of riding behaviour, but also in relation to proper parking. The Luna parking algorithm can spot if a scooter is positioned correctly in a ‘virtual dock’ by using a painted scooter logo or corral on the ground, or any other surrounding visual clues that it is trained to detect. Using the camera as a sensor, Luna can also help e-scooters to be parked with a level of accuracy that standard GPS technology cannot match.

Voi is committed to using innovation to ensure that every e-scooter ride is a responsible one, and every stationary e-scooter is a safe one. By collaborating with Luna, Voi will be able to build a record of where and how the scooters are being ridden and parked. Cities are expected to use the data not just to understand poor rider behaviour but also to identify where infrastructure improvements to the public realm could help e-scooter riders and other road users.

By working in partnership with local councils and companies like Luna, Voi is dedicated to empowering people to leave their cars behind and move around their city in a safer, more sustainable way. The Luna technology will give authorities across Europe the confidence that they can have greater control over rental e-scooters, which provide a new carbon-neutral and socially distanced solution to urban travel.

After operating for more than three years, Voi is now the leading e-scooter operator across Europe, with a presence in more than 60 cities. The company recently published its first annual safety report – the first of its kind from a micro-mobility company – as part of its commitment to Vision Zero, in which it wishes to eliminate all fatal accidents.

Bitcoin – The Internet Of Money

There are platforms, just like there are methods that, besides their early departure, are linked to historic site people in the history of communication technology advances in technology. One such technology is the Internet, which, notwithstanding this denial, is termed a “game-changer.” If the advent of the personal computer altered how we used to handle our data and files, the emergence of social Media elevated the experience by enabling us to transmit relevant data elsewhere in the world at any time. Then followed the IoT technology (IoT), which completely altered the way business was conducted, how things were being handled at distant locations. The Internet of Things enabled firms to plan and assess their foreign inventory in real-time, even though they had essentially “no men at work.” In a similar vein to Artificial intelligence, there is yet another new positioning as the “Internet of Money (IoM),”also known as currency (cryptos = secret) or Bitcoin, which is intended to alter how transactions are made and how we trade. You can find more about crypto trading on this website

While most persons are still unaware of the significance of Internet of Things (IoT) emerging technologies, Robert Lee, also identified as Coblee in the Bitcoin community, inventor of Litecoin, and former Head of Research at Coinbase, expressed his opinion that bitcoins “is such a worthy pursuit that it can nearly strike down regimes.” The idea of cryptocurrency, sometimes associated with the Internet of Money, is tough to grasp, but it is simple to utilize. Most of the difficulty stems from the fact that it is fundamentally different from the old commodities consumers have been using for centuries. There is no central or intermediate authority, such as a fiat currency or a treasury, to regulate the movement of these currencies is particularly intriguing. It is an entirely decentralized organization.

In The Current Transaction System, There Is A Problem Known As “Double-Spending”

During his experience at the University of Maryland, David Chaum created the first cryptocurrency ecash mechanism in 1983, known as Bitcoin. Despite all efforts, the system was unable to function correctly. Its subscriber base was never more than 5,000 people. In late 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto, a theoretical guy, released a journal article titled Bitcoin: A Mentoring Cryptography Mailing List, known as the Bitcoin whitepaper. During the presentation, he presented cryptocurrency is digital money used as an online financial substitute. Bitcoin is a compound term composed of the letters “bit” and “coin,” which means “digital/virtual money” in English. Bitcoin concept, which is applied as free software, is the first-ever autonomous mobile money system created in 2009. Developers from all around the world were quickly drawn to technology as a promising new avenue for innovation.

Essentially, the Bitcoin concept is predicated on the removal of third-party gateways and regulatory oversight. For instance, presently, if Ram is buying his IRCTC tickets under the ‘tatkal’ capacity, he would sometimes wind up paying two-three times the necessary purchase appropriations to get one access, due to the participation of sixth gateways such as Paypal, bill-desk, Visa/Mastercard, and so on. The use of a sixth gateway further lengthens the overall transaction timeframe. By eliminating the need for third-party participation and enabling mentoring (P2P) operations, the Bitcoin cryptocurrency eliminates the problem like double. Start your bitcoin trading career now on  Crypto Nation.

The Bitcoin Transaction Is A Kind Of Electronic Cash System That Uses Bitcoins To Make Payments

Bitcoin doesn’t always operate based on telephone numbers, physical locations, or the 16-bit encrypt used by login credentials. Bitcoin identities, on the other hand, are 160-bit QR protocols generated at a whim. Because the system enables mentoring transmission, no third-party intermediary might cause delays or control transactional activities. State security protects the data during the transaction and blocks malicious users from tampering with it. Using the payee’s master password, another code, it is possible to verify that the transfer has been completed. Nevertheless, it should be emphasized that all Bitcoin exchange services, such as Coinbase, need genuine identities such as marketing emails to convert Bitcoin.

When it comes to money payments, the privacy of BTC payments is unmatched in the history of the Internet. Once a dispute has arisen, the publicly available list is amended, and everyone will be informed of the precise amount that has been purchased. As a result, the openness ensures the peace and comfort of the movement since no one can question the validity of the exchange. This is one of the most important factors in making it more difficult for criminals to conduct deception of any kind. “I believe this will be the first time we are attempting a multilateral, pseudo mechanism,” Satoshi remarked in 2009 in response to a question on his Bitcoin discussion.

Features of Bitcoin Android

Bitcoin is an informatics coinage that claims that it is a technological revolution. The money works on a peer-to-peer network of complicated nodes, the computer capitals of the Bitcoin network. A Japanese assembly of an unidentified person named Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin and began. In the year 2009, the currency was first published at 0, 2 USD. Bitcoin is emancipated virtual money, which shows the network’s risk hazards in the possible highlights made by the Bitcoin complex. The potential of these hidden risks is abolished by the idea of a bitcoin wallet and blockchain.
