Five Benefits from Modernizing Your Credit Risk Management Process

Time and again, banks take on a certain level of credit risk whenever they lend money to business entities and individuals. The probability of not receiving the agreed principal amount and interest payments from a borrower must always be considered, no matter how small this possibility may be. If a borrower defaults or is unable to repay their loan, the financial institution will suffer loss and cash flow disruption. Thus, banks diligently employ strict credit risk management (CRM) procedures to evaluate prospective borrowers.

To keep abreast with the ever-changing times, many financial institutions take advantage of financial risk management software to generate more comprehensive and accurate credit risk reports. Banks that still use traditional CRM processes are hindered by insufficient data management tools, such as manual spreadsheet-based reporting systems. But with an organized program and efficient tools for data analysis, banks can improve their credit risk assessment before approving candidates for loans.

While there is no foolproof way to determine who will default on their debt, using reliable CRM systems can help banks mitigate greater loss. It’s a way for financial institutions to assess if a candidate can meet further contractual obligations. For instance, massive economic shifts such as the events of the COVID-19 crisis have rattled even the most stable borrowers. By using CRM systems for analysis, banks can better project how a potential borrower can repay debts and adjust to economic downturns.

Indeed, financial institutions must be highly equipped to employ efficient credit risk management procedures. Below are several important benefits of improving your credit risk management processes with the help of technology.

Quickly Generate More Accurate Credit Risk Reports

Reviewing an individual or company’s credit profile can only be done properly if the financial data is correct and up-to-date. By using financial risk management systems, banks can streamline financial data collection and verify the information faster. This ensures that the data is readily accessible once bank officers conduct their evaluation. When it comes to calculating possible risks, using an automated CRM system eliminates the need for manual computation, thereby eliminating the possibility of human errors in computation as well.

With more accurate risk projections, banks can develop CRM strategies that can better address a borrower’s financial standing. This way, banks can have a clearer picture of a borrower’s financial health. CRM systems also allow banks to calculate a borrower’s credit risk across different types of investment products. The calculation also applies to business industries and legal entities, enabling banks to create a variety of risk projections as needed.

Perform More In-Depth Risk Assessments

Besides the advantage of accuracy, using reliable CRM software enables banks to conduct a more granular evaluation of risk data. This is applicable to risk assessments for retail businesses, corporations, and counterparty exposures. CRM systems can also provide comprehensive projections of aggregated risk for business organizations. Moreover, it can incorporate various data sources for more nuanced risk modeling analysis.

Using efficient CRM tools gives banks the ability to perceive and assess significant changes in risk profiles. This allows banks to monitor a borrower’s financial standing and anticipate possible issues.

CRM systems can also come with pre-built credit risk report templates that banks can use to organize data. This makes it easier to prepare risk assessments for different purposes, such as credit delinquency, credit quality, capital requirement, and risk migration.

Faster Processing and Detection of Credit Risks

Perhaps the most apparent benefit of integrating financial risk management systems is quicker processing times. In this digital age, many customers usually expect timely responses from bank representatives. Thus, using effective CRM systems enables traditional banks to compete with other technologically savvy financial institutions that offer quick loan processing services.

More importantly, efficient processing enables banks to detect possible lending risks earlier. The sooner a bank understands these risks, the sooner they can determine the right investment product and lending terms for a borrower. It also helps conservative financial institutions deflect loan applications from very high-risk borrowers a lot earlier.

Ensures That Banks Operate at an Acceptable Debt-to-Capital Ratio

Using CRM systems makes it easier to track a borrowing company’s financial standing. Specifically, it enables banks to make sure that borrowing business entities maintain a tolerable debt-to-capital ratio. Since a higher debt-to-capital ratio indicates greater default risk, a bank can avoid approving commercial loans to such high-risk companies. On the other hand, if a bank decides to approve credit for a high-risk company, the bank should be able to price its credit risk properly to ensure they receive sufficient compensation.

Improves Compliance to Avoid Regulatory Issues

Reviewing extensive financial information requires banks to address privacy concerns. Banks are mandated to employ adequate measures that protect against cybersecurity issues. With a reliable CRM program in place, banking institutions can better safeguard their customer’s data. CRM programs also provide real-time access to information that helps banks comply with the latest financial regulatory requirements. Besides streamlining data collection and organization, you can rest assured that all pertinent financial data is safe and secure in your bank.

By taking advantage of CRM technology, financial institutions are better equipped to evaluate individual and company risk profiles against different investment products. More banks can provide efficient services with modernized CRM processes, without overlooking important risk factors.

Google gives us a sneak peak at the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro

Google today dropped some information on their upcoming devices the Pixel 6 and PIxel 6 pro and no they are NOT leaks, we don’t cover leaks and never will and we rather wait to get our news from the horse’s mouth and today that has happened with the two much anticipated devices set to launch this year and eager fans of pixel devices like myself look forward to getting one of them when they do launch.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro will come with their own silicon too which is akin to what other manufacturers like Apple Huawei and Samsung are doing and this can be cost saving which hopefully reflects in the price when they do launch so let’s see what the specs are that have been dropped today.. No battery capacity has been given which is interesting but with their new silicon the Tensor SoC  (System on a Chip) you would be sure to see things very well optimized.

The Pixel 6

Google Tensor Chip / 6.4” Flat FHD 90Hz / Dual Camera (Primary, Ultrawide) / In-display fingerprint sensor / Android 12 with Material You
The Pixel 6 Pro
Google Tensor Chip / 6.7” Curved QHD 120Hz / Triple Camera (Primary, Ultrawide, Telephoto 4x) / In-display fingerprint sensor
Android 12 with Material You
Design
The design would bring you back to the Nexus P which had a bar going right across the rear which is fine and the new design is quite nice too and moving away from the usual set with a block on one side and I think it is nice and it stands out, this is placed high on the top of the device and this means the phone should not rock if flat on a table and presuming there will be cases to go with the devices this will also eliminate the rocking effect and of course offer added protection and it will be nice to see what cases they do bring us on launch day.
Colours
The colour scheme here too is nice and different and moving away from the traditional offerings most manufacturers give us and in saying that they did so with the Pixel 5 from last year which I still use today and love it the two tone look is quite nice and there is two finishes on the camera bar one being silver and one being black and my preference being the silver finish with the orange accents.
Why show off these devices now one might ask? Well google have been known not to keep their cards close to their chest but they have left out some other important specs but at least we get to see the device and maybe they are flexing abit here and  is shaping up to be a true flagship

The Main Advantages of Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

What is CAD? CAD is a type of software which is used in multiple industries who rely on it to create different drafts and models. Frequently used for the likes of 2D drawings and 3D models that have precise measurements, there are multiple advantages to using CAD, which means it is no surprise that so many industries insist on doing so. These include the likes of engineering, industrial design, architecture, gaming and product design. So, that many industries can’t be wrong, can they? Well, if you’re not convinced, here are some of the main advantages of using CAD.

It Increases Productivity

By using CAD, designers are able to create lower production costs and can work faster and smarter, ultimately, this leads to increased production. As a result of designers being able to work quicker thanks to the implementation of CAD, companies can keep their teams small, leading to lower production costs and the ability for quick decisions and changes depending on what the work during that particular period demands.

Before CAD, designers had to draw everything by hand, which took a lot longer than when a computer could assist with these drawings. It is also much easier for designers to visualize their drawings as a result and test them in the real world.

Higher Quality Designs

When you consider how far gaming has come in the past 20 years, yes, you think of their story, their technicalities and the ability to play multiplayer; however, one of the main differences is in the way that they look. This is just one of the ways that the gaming industry uses CAD. This is because of its fantastic ability to design and capture images before portraying them in an interactive way for gamers. It can also be used to:

  • Create 2D and 3D models of characters and scenery;
  • Motion capture both lighting and animation;
  • Shade and texture different objects; and
  • Shade and transfer 3D data.

Reuse and Change Designs with Ease

One industry that has been using CAD a lot more frequently is the world of fashion. This is because it allows different designers to not only create clothes but place them on models to see how they would fit and look going down a runway. They can then be altered accordingly depending on what the designer sees fit, whether that means changing the material, fit or overall design, regardless, it is incredibly easy to do using CAD.

Also, once a design has been finished to the designers’ standards, that file can then be reused to produce variations of the same style. This is incredibly helpful if, for instance, a design was part of a soon to be range coming in a variety of different colors. Using CAD, the designer would already have access to the design and then can make whatever subtle changes they see fit.

Conclusion

Thanks to the above advantages of CAD, it’s no surprise that it is being frequently used in multiple industries such as fashion, engineering, gaming and overall design.

Best Ring Light for Live Streaming, YouTube Videos in 2021

The e-commerce model has long been changed from graphic to live streaming, and the economic benefits brought by the live streaming operations have gradually left the traditional graphic behind. Now everyone can shoot their videos / live, so it is particularly important to choose a live light that can show the filming effect in place. And the popularity of the ring light follows the trend of the times, as it comes with the convenience of the public is also more popular.

Why the Ring Light?

➫ Ring lights are friendly to beginners who record video.

➫ A ring light is cost-effective. More space-saving than other lighting kits used in photography, to meet the needs of different scenes, and a gimbal stand can provide a fixed phone, camera interface, to facilitate multi-angle portable shooting.

The ring light has a beauty light fill function. It can make people more photogenic, and a catchlight will be reflected in the eyes. This certainly makes the eyes more attractive.

➫ The light in everyday life is sunlight, it will be scattered in all directions, while the ring light can be moved when using the position to provide ” even and flawless ” lighting, shooting different effects.

Why is the ring light rather than the panel light?

Panel lights can also be, but if the light source to achieve a large area, such as an 18-inch diameter circular panel, such a large area are plastered with lamp beads, the power and brightness will be extremely high, also relatively expensive. This is why a ring-shaped light is made to not only ensure the light-emitting area but also increase the lighting angle to ensure that the face is in the middle of the ring, then at all angles can be exposed to an equal amount of sufficient light without those unpleasant shadows.

Therefore, the ring light is greatly loved by many digital content creators.

How to buy and choose from so many styles of ring lights on the market?

First, from the ring diameter. For a large live broadcasting room, whole-body shots, and thus need a large ring light, it is recommended to directly choose the diameter of 18 inches and above the ring light. If it is in the room, or only shoot the upper body, the purchase of the diameter of the about 10-inch ring light is adequate.

Adjustable color temperature. The skin will look naturally soft in warm light, and it could make you feel relaxed and happy when chatting with the audience. If you want the space in warm but clearer or cleaner white, you may choose warm white mode. The color presentation of room is very important to viewing experience. If you want the clearest display of your product or look, then white light is the best choice.

Power supply method. USB direct power supply method is simple and fast, not affected by the scene.

Raise and lower the height. Adjustable height ring light, whether standing live or sitting live.

Heat Dissipation performance. Led in the work will send out a lot of heat, if not timely dissipate heat, too high a temperatures will greatly reduce the overall lifetime of the ring light.

Overall I would recommend Asnoty ring light with stand, which meets all the above basic functions which should be there. Recently their 10-inch ring light is on sale, if you are a content creator, it is worth trying this ring light.

6 Important Tips On Why You Need A Managed Service Provider

Even if you are a single-man business or you are an individual service provider you can benefit a lot from having a dedicated IT support provider. A managed IT support company does everything you would expect from a full in-house IT department, without the headache of having to manage such a large team, and without the expense of hiring professionals in-house.

Whatever kind of business you are in, you are definitely using some form of technology. Whether that is for internal processes, marketing, accounting, or client communication, even at a basic level your digital infrastructure needs support and maintenance.

Most business owners are not experts in IT, so even though they are using technology, they aren’t necessarily getting the most out of it. Plus, while they can manage things on their own while the business is small, things can get very complicated when you start to scale up. Here are some powerful reasons as to why you should consider a managed service provider for your business today.

1.  Free Up Resources

As a small business owner, you are either managing IT-related matters on your own or it is a group effort in which everyone does what they can to keep the digital infrastructure going. Unless IT is your forte and this is your role in the company, or if you are a specialist in a different area, you are costing yourself time that you could be investing in the things that you are an expert in. The same applies to the people that assist you in this area and essentially you are limiting business growth. Managed IT services is a great way to delegate everything digital to someone who is a professional in this matter so you can focus on things that you are good at.

2.  Get Proper Data Compliance

One of the biggest concerns with digital businesses and even those businesses that are transitioning from being physical businesses to being digital organizations is data security. Governments across the world realize this problem and are creating data compliance protocols for businesses to abide by that will protect both the business and the clients whose data they store. In order to get the right systems in place that will allow you to store data in accordance with these protocols will require an expert.

3.  Solid Security

Even with proper data compliance and the best data management software, the possibility of an attack cannot be completely sidelined. The IT professionals at Prototype IT suggest that if there is one thing you should invest money in, it is cybersecurity solutions. While there are several free options out there, you wouldn’t want to risk something as valuable as data on a free tool. Working with a security expert is something that will definitely benefit you at any stage.

4.  Recovery And Backups

The last thing you can do to create a secure environment for data is to have good recovery options and frequent backups. This is another one of those things in which you will benefit a lot by having a managed IT team  rather than doing it yourself. It is very possible to do it with free tools but it’s not worth the effort or the time when you need to develop more complicated solutions for a larger business.

5.  Latest Technology

While there is a lot of technology out there not all of it is relevant to you, in fact, only a small portion is probably useful for your business. It’s a lot easier to have an experienced IT expert to help you develop solutions rather than having to sift through all the options on your own. If you want to save time, hire an expert and get a competitive advantage over the competition.

6.  Expert Advice

There are going to be a lot of things that you are not an expert on when it comes to IT. A managed service provider can guide you in uncertain situations and tell you what will work and how you can make the most of certain services. Moreover, they will open up avenues that you didn’t even know existed because of their experience and knowledge. Having an expert on board is always going to be better than learning as you go.

Though hiring an expert is a great option, you need to be careful in selecting the right team to work with. Not all managed IT services are the same and ideally you want to be working with someone who has experience in your industry and has worked with a similar business. You definitely don’t want your business to be their first project. Spend a little time in searching out the right service provider as this will be a relationship that will last several years if not the entire lifespan of the organization.

Tech Review – TAPiTAG a digital solution to end paper business cards. #TAPiTAG #Tech

We are all so familiar with the humble business card though recent times maybe no so much and now with things slowly getting back to normal we are probably making orders to get some new business cards done up right now…They have been a staple in the business community for years passing on information to clients but you have to come up with a design or pay someone to do that and from past experience the more you add to the card the card quality the costs stack up and you can only order a certain minimum amount and this is annoying and time consuming and can be costly and with the environment in mind which I am not going to bang on about here you save the planet too..

TAPiTAG has the solution here that is simply a win win for everyone and it is cost effective you can design your card add what you like and have a one stop shop to pass on all your information in one go, how much more could you ask for?? This is a simple solution to end the need for business cards that you perhaps carry around in your car, have boxes of them in your office and so on and this fits in your wallet or a tag you can have on your device it is simple, effective and well executed.

How does it work

There is no app required to begin with which is nice for a change and it uses NFC technology. NFC has been around for years and we slowly adopted it here in Ireland for some years and now we see the benefits of how useful it is and most of today’s smartphones have this built in. You simply tap the back of a phone that is NFC compatible and job is done, On the iPhone you tap near the top and on Android devices you tap in the middle.

Set up

You can create your account on phone or desktop there is a QR code on the card you can scan and once you get going you can then edit as you need and tailor to your requirements

Will it work with phone cases

A question I have been asked several times and from my own selection of phones and cases here there was no problem even with leather and thick cases like otterbox.

Is the cost worth it

You will have people complain about cost with any piece of tech but when you see what these products do and how easy life is made and the cost savings over time even for the average joe it is well worth the spend, people who network meet at corporate events and trade shows and much more will see just how great this product is and the fact you can customise these to your needs makes it an easy win for everyone.. The tag will cost 14.99 and card 24.99 there is no need for dirty paper and with things as they are this is a contactless solution to benefit everyone.
