We have been chosen by nokia connects to take part in a review,but one with a difference .
We seen reviews of phones daily and enjoy watching but they are always done in the same way.
So we have been asked to do different style of unboxing/review rather than the normal we are all used to doing.
So stay tuned to see what we come up with,we dont have much time but thats going to make it creative.

Everyone had a Nokia 3210 when they were younger, for most it was the first phone, for others it became the only phone that you would ever use. Here are eight reasons we miss the Nokia 3210.
1. It was virtually indestructible.
We have seen Nokias washed in the washing machine, hit concrete floors and fall into toilets and they still come out absolutely perfectly.
2. Snake
Hours and hours of endless amusement.
3. The Covers Were Amazing.
One particular Her.ie staff member had a cover which was a map of Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings. Amazing.
4. You could make sweet, sweet music.
There was none of this “download a tone” rubbish, with the Nokia 3210, you could become Beethoven.
5. Personlised Service
You turned on your phone, and it declared your name! Occasionally with a nice little picture that moved on the screensaver. Nice….
6. The Nokia ringtone
The universal sound for a phone ringing now.
7. Predictive text
Sure, your iPhone does this sometimes, but certainly not to the same extent as your wonderful Nokia. Of course, it did take a while to actually adapt to that.
8. A phone was a phone.
Wasn’t everything just better when all you used your phone for was text messages and calls? Now, it knows your life better than you do.

Irish firm statcounter has given results of nokia and its market share in regards to mobile web surfing share .
Ireland comes in at 4.9% and the uk which is much bigger than ireland a 3.74% share.
Below is a chart stating this finding which i find skewed considering uk has a bigger share with wp than ireland its giving the uk a share of 3.7%.

Today we finally received the nokia asha 501 dual sim,its been a wait as ive seen this some time ago in person when the nokia lumia bus was in dublin.

2004: The company reveals that although it is still the market leader, it is losing share to its rivals, with its 35 per cent share falling short of its target of 40 per cent as it falls behind with its new product range.
2005: Nokia sells its billionth phone – a Nokia 1100 – in Nigeria, and global mobile phone subscriptions pass two billion.
2007: Nokia is forced into one of the world’s largest product recalls after it admits the batteries in 46 million phones could be faulty. Meanwhile, a longer-term problem emerges: Apple launches the iPhone.

2010: Competitors’ devices , such as the iPhone and
Android-based handsets, are posing a serious challenge to Nokia’s future. Nokia appoints former MICROSOFT man STEPHEN ELOP as president and chief executive. Nokia cuts another 1,800 jobs despite a rise in profits.
2011: Elop tells staff: “We are standing on a burning platform.” Days later he announces a strategic partnership with Microsoft to compete with Apple and Google’s Android platform. Nokia cuts another 4,000 jobs worldwide from its 65,000- strong workforce. Elop denies Nokia is in talks about a takeover by Microsoft. Nokia is overtaken by SAMSUNG and Apple in the smartphone sector as profits and sales dwindle. Nokia launches new smartphones.
2012: The group cuts 4,000 jobs and moves smartphone manufacturing to aisia. Shares fall following a profit warning and it slumps to a €1.3 billion loss. Analysts predict a possible takeover by Microsoft as it cuts 10,000 more jobs and announces its last factory in Finland will close.
2013: The company returns to profit after 18 months of losses. Microsoft buys Nokia’s handset business for €5.44 billion
