Vertu has a new phone and it has been a while since we have seen a device from them and they have an updated Vertu Signature touch with some beefed up specs and a decent battery to boot.These devices are not for the everyday user but sure are nice and I have yet to see one here in Ireland today,perhaps one day I might just buy one.. One Day…… These cost from 8 Grand and go north after,accessories too are not cheap,but if you have the cash to buy one of these you can afford to goodies to go with it,you will also get your concierge service too..

Presence App gets motion detection alram on iOS #Prescence #App #Safety

Recently we featured a real handy app called presence alarm which is available on Android and iOS,this app is a cheap alternative to home alarms security but worth checking out if you have a spare device at hand.

Ok so we all love our apps and browsing on our mobiles but at times we may get bored or whatever the case maybe and can find ourselves in a rut to find something interesting,Example of one another idea like this was recently launched called pooductive and this enables you to talk to others whilst you sit on the big white telephone..

This app is kind of similar but aggregated from several other feeds and you can select what interests you most,in the settings this can be adjusted to what suits you and you can pick from several such as Vine,Meme generator and You Tube etc..

Gmail gets new features,Block and Unsubscribe. #Gmail #Android #Web

Gmail has got some new ( convenient) features Block Sender is one which is ideal and will throw your unwanted mail into the spam folder ,but is this really a block,we do check our spam folders,this is rolling out today on the web and Android over the next week. You can then unblock if you like in settings. Anyway its welcome in my book.Filtering mail was already available  but takes less clicks now.

In addition, the unsubscribe option is now making its way to Android, so you’ll be able to opt out of eligible mailing lists directly from the Gmail app. It’s perfect for those newsletters you subscribed to a while back but don’t read any more. Again this is something we can already do via the unsubscribe option attached to emails so this just makes it a bit more convenient I guess.

Apple watch goes on sale in Ireland on the 25th of September. #Apple

We have been waiting for a date for a long time and now we have one for the Apple Watch for us Irish,its to go on sale on September 25th,so for those waiting or have been saving you now know ,it may be also a good time to drop hints for the xmas present if you are willing to spend the money on Apples wearable,they start at €429 with the Sport edition,€679 for the Watch and €11,300 for the Watch edition,People that have been waiting to buy the watch have been rather annoyed that Apple has waited so long to release the watch here,considered they have a base in Ireland did not help the situation either..Up until now people had to import the device from the UK or pick one up on their travels…
