Improved comfort and fit = improved sound quality

With the ZE8000 MK2, Final has included newly designed ‘shield fin’ eartips. These tips come in a wide range of sizes and offer an increase in passive isolation as well as a more comfortable and secure fit. This increase in isolation benefits the sound quality due to a reduction in ambient noise and improved seal provided by the ‘shield fin’ technology and silicone material used.

IT.ie, the Irish-owned IT services company, today reveals the “12 Scams of Christmas”, outlining the digital ruses consumers are most likely to fall for this festive season.

As consumers prepare for the festive season, it can be an opportunity for cybercriminals to take advantage of increased online activity to gain access to sensitive data. Last year, An Garda Síochána issued a warning to consumers, stating that online fraud was on the rise at Christmas time.

To help them to keep their personal information safe, IT.ie is encouraging consumers to “channel their inner Scrooge” by fiercely protecting their data and hard-earned money from criminals. This year, the message is clear: be a Scrooge with your private and financial data – or it might become a gift for criminals.

The 12 Scams of Christmas that consumers need to look out for are:

These emails are crafted with advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence, making them look almost identical to those from reputable brands. They often lure victims with fake alerts or offers, leading to sites that steal personal information. IT.ie advises everyone to verify the email’s authenticity and avoid clicking on links or attachments from unknown sources. If in doubt, don’t click.

Scammers use social media platforms to post ads for exclusive or hard-to-find items at very low prices. These ads often lead to fake websites where your payment information can be stolen. Always research the seller and look for reviews on independent platforms before making a purchase.

  1. Bogus websites and URL spoofing

Cybercriminals create fake websites that mimic legitimate online retailers, often using URLs that contain subtle misspellings or alterations that can easily go unnoticed. To help protect bees, increase pollination and support bio-diversity, Servecentric is delighted to participate in Host in Ireland’s “Orchards in the Community” initiative. Servecentric is part of 73 pledging companies that have contributed to the planting of over 3587 mixed fruit orchards across the Island of Ireland. As part of the programme, 222 schools and colleges and 171 community groups from tidy towns, retirement homes, community centres, and local sports facilities have received and planted orchards in their communities.

Orchards provide vital green spaces in our cities and towns and with 33% of our 99 wild bee species at risk of extinction, these orchards provide bees with food as they struggle when emerging from winter.

Golden Ride implements total customer care

The new maintenance and servicing program launched by Golden Ride gives the burgeoning UK eMobility market access to a complete and high-tech aftersales service for eBikes and eScooters that is also dedicated to total customer care.

Overseen by leading eMobility technicians based at Golden Ride’s flagship store in London, the maintenance and servicing program has been designed to operate on a highly efficient yet detail-driven basis, offering customers access to high-level electric and mechanical eMobility engineering expertise.

A state-of-the-art electromechanical workshop – currently under development within Golden Ride’s flagship store – will soon become the brand’s hub for its all-encompassing aftersales, maintenance, servicing and customer care initiatives. When completed, the workshop will be equipped with advanced technologies and industry-leading tools.

The service, which has been designed to be rapid, launches with customers not needing to make any prior appointments – the Golden Ride technician team are on-hand each day during the flagship store’s regular business hours. A detailed diagnostic examination is performed on the customer’s eMobility product – the cost of which is just £25.00; this initial fee is then deducted from the price of the maintenance and service operations should the customer at that stage wish to proceed.

To maintain the highest safety standards of eBikes and eScooters, it’s advised that a safety inspection is undertaken between major mechanical services. As part of Golden Ride’s new aftersales customer care package, the brand’s complete safety inspection service sees the customer’s eBike or eScooter comprehensively assessed for state of health, functionality and performance.

Following the evaluation, the eBike or eScooter is then restored and advanced to optimal working conditions. This tailored customer care initiative comprises a full safety check of the frame, wheels and brakes – including a thorough inspection for damage and movement; frames and forks analysed for imperfections; wheels and tyres examined for wear; wheels and rims assessed for condition of use; chain tested and lubricated; and the gears and brakes optimally tuned.

‘Out with the old, in with the electric’ exchange

Golden Ride’s compelling ‘Out with the old, in with the electric’ offer has been extended in the lead-up to the busy Christmas period.

The exchange presents customers with the opportunity to take their old non-electric bikes into Golden Ride’s flagship store in London for an accurate pricing evaluation undertaken by the company’s expert eMobility tech team. The valuation of the old non-electric bike is then used as credit and exchanged for a new Golden Ride eBike or eScooter.
