Moto G 3rd Gen Unboxing in photos. #MotoG #Ireland..

It has finally arrived an the latest iteration from Motorola in the G series called the Moto G 3rd gen offering some pretty decent specs with a good price to boot…

Lets have a look at what the retail package gives us and a tour around the device itself.

The initial presentation is nice ie the box itself and there is not much more inside apart from the Device itself, some booklets that most people never read and a USB cable. There is NO plug folks but surely you have some lying around.

Around the device we have the usual suspects with the micro USB port on the bottom,Volume toggle on the right hand side and power key ,the left hand side is totally bare so nothing to see here and up top we have the headphone socket and mic. On the bottom left there is a little notch to remove the back cover for access to the sim card and micro sd areas, the battery is non removable.

Which leaves us with just the back and front of the device,on the front we have ONE speaker,it looks like two this is a trick we see many manufacturers  pull to leave people thinking its dual speakers, the bottom grille is where the sound comes from the other is just a design feature, also we have our usual sensors and front facing camera,on the rear of the device is our camera and flash area centred in the middle which is a preferred option for most rather than the camera stuck in one of the corners..The back though has a nice ribbed feel to it giving you better grip so less chance of a drop here…

Nusiki – fan-to-fan song sharing app is the Instagram of Music #Nusiki #Music #StartUp

In January 2014, Nusiki co-founders Ben Hewitt and Tim Welch were on to something when they realized there was no efficient way to share music with your friends online. Nusiki combines all of your music libraries with your network to build a community around one of the world’s largest online music databases. The app is currently available for both iPhone and Android in the App Store or on Google Play. There is never a short amount of music apps and never will be and this is worth a look…Launched at SXSW, the Chicago start-up unveiled their music and social networking app and its unique concept and user benefits, the app is smooth easy to navigate with a nice UI too from testing it which is nice to see, good work has been put into it..

“Music libraries and streaming services are a great place to listen to songs, but the social sharing component is broken,” said Ben Hewitt, Nusiki co-founder. “Current social networks mix music with other media and don’t allow you to listen to songs in a row, diluting the music. And, music discovery services remove the social aspect of discovery. These services are meant to connect people TO music. Nusiki connects people THROUGH music.”

In five simple steps, the Nusiki app allows you to

1. Search/Share your favorite songs and videos from popular music sources. Songs you share will appear on your profile and the feeds of users that you follow.
2. Follow other users to curate your feed and hear what your friends are listening to.
3. Like the songs that you want to remember or repost songs to share with your own network. Songs you like and post can be found in your profile.
4. Explore new and trending music that users outside of your network are listening to.
5. Listen to all of your favourite music in one place.

Sharing music with your friends should be as simple as posting pictures, sending 140-character thoughts or liking a friend’s status.

By aggregating music online and leveraging social features, Nusiki is connecting friends over music by building a community around one of the world’s largest online music libraries. It’s now easy to share and organize your favorite songs in one place.

When You Use Nusiki:

– That song you love and want people to know about…Share it
– Your friend who knows every good song before it’s popular… Follow them
– That song you love but always forget the name of…’Like’ it and find it easily from now on
– You’re bored of every song you’ve already heard…Explore new music and new people

Book your own Private Jet with just your smartphone thanks to @JetSmarter By @VicenteA_George #App #Jet #IOS #Android

Have you ever dreamed of having your own Private Jet? Well, maybe you can’t own one just yet, but! Now you can have one anytime you want with JetSmarter.

Founded in 2012 by Sergey Petrossov (@spetrossov), JetSmarter has 6 offices across the globe, and flights into over 170 different countries. The company has deals with about 800 private jet owners and pilots.

You can find the app on the Apple Store and Google Play Store, is free and anyone who registers can book a flight. But the membership option, (which costs $9,000 annually) offers significantly lower flight prices, exclusive events, loyalty points and a gold plated (24-karat) membership card.

JetSmarter also has an “empty legs” (flights that need to make a trip from point A to point B for logistical purposes, but have no one on them) feature that allows members and non-members to fly privately at extremely discounted prices. (It’ll be costly though)

Imagine something like Uber, but in the sky.

There are tons of features on this app, let’s take a look at some:

JetDeals: One-way flights that are exclusive to JetSmarter allowing a custom experience for each and every one. The app will automatically pair these flights between your desired destinations.

JetShuttle: Search from hundreds of scheduled flights, find a time that works for you, book a seat and you are on your way.

JetCharter: Customize your own itinerary, choose the right aircraft and immediately book the flight.

All of this can be used (as every single feature of the app) by non-members, but having a membership has its perks:

$0 JetDeals (2,500+ monthly)
Book FREE seats on JetShuttle flights.
Discounted JetCharter pricing (up to 70%)
Complimentary Helicopter rides to/from New York area airports.
VIP Private events for members.

24-karat gold membership card.

In October 2014, the company made a huge step forward, announcing its partnership with GlobeAir, one of Europe’s most prominent private jet companies.

And this year, received lots of investments even from
the Jay Z and the Saudi Royal Family.

Take a sneak peek:

You can download the app here: Android, IOS

Are you going to give it a try? What do you think of this utopic idea of making private jets available for “everyone”? Let us know in the comments section below.

Firefox Brings Fresh new Look to Windows 10 #FireFox #Browser #Windows10

Firefox has a new look for Windows 10 for those who use,my primary search engine would be Google and have hardly ever used Firefox either on desktop or mobile yet alone windows..Given Windows 10 users will use Edge or Google its nice to see that its available for the fans of the search engine, also included is safer ad-ons…

Firefox say on their blog..

You’ll also notice bigger, bolder design elements as well as more space for viewing the Web. We had a lot of fun building this version of Firefox and we hope you’ll enjoy the new look.

Also they have created a restore or choose Firefox as your default browser in Windows 10 for your convenience.

Firefox also helps you preserve your choice when using the search field on the Windows 10 taskbar to search the Web. When using this search field, Windows 10 launches your default browser but only shows search results in Microsoft Bing. When you have Firefox set as your default browser on Windows 10, all your Web searches from the taskbar search field will show results in the default search engine you choose in Firefox.

Making Third Party Add-ons Safer in Firefox

Add-ons are another important aspect of how you control and customize Firefox. Add-ons will continue to provide limitless possibilities for customizing the look and functionality of Firefox, but today we’re also taking steps to ensure that using add-ons is a safe and secure experience for  users. Firefox  announced a process to certify add-ons based on guidelines we have provided to add-on developers.
