IKEA will sell furniture with wireless chargers in US and UK By @VicenteA_George #ikea #wireless #charging
The well known “do-for-yourself” furniture maker IKEA have a big surprise for us in a couple of months.
And if you have an Iphone or a Samsung and think “It doesn’t work for me” the company will also offer a range of case and covers for those handsets without wireless chargers backplates.
The collection will start to be sell on mid April in the U.K with prices starting at £30, they will be sell on the U.S later this year but we don’t have the exact date yet.
“Our belief is that mobile phones are vital parts to people’s lives at home and their desire to stay connected, and Qi addresses an unmet need to keep devices powered,” said Bjorn Block, Range Manager for Lighting and Wireless Charging, at IKEA. “As a member of WPC, we value the access to the leading and most advanced global standard for wireless charging.”
That’s good news for those who plan buy new stuff for home and even for the ones that only want a useful bed lamp that will also act as a charger.

Its that time of year again and its none other than MWC which is been held is Barcelona in Spain.
There will be much focus today as to what the manufacturers have to offer its consumers and Acer has began the show with their first Windows Phone which is set to cost around €79.
