Sunseeker X5 Wireless Robotic Mower Review

The Sunseeker X5 is a wireless robotic mower for lawns up to 2000 sqm. It uses AONaviTM Positioning and Navigation System which uses Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) satellite positioning technology and VSLAM visual navigation. All that ensures accurate boundary setting and work routes regardless of obstacles or the unique shape of your lawn.

Equipped with two 3D binocular camera Vision AI System excels in perceiving the surrounding environment and navigating obstacles seamlessly. Supported by our proprietary deep learning algorithms, it consistently enhances its comprehension of landscapes through continuous data accumulation.

This all-wheel-drive model offers an exceptional 60% climbing ability, making it perfect for even the most challenging garden environments and we have been testing this out over the last few weeks when the right weather was available and this has all the bells and whistles.

My back garden is not flat either which gave this its own challenges and worked a treat in the end and even when mapping the garden obsticals where put in the way to test out the 3D binocular camera vision and again it was a piece of cake and getting the job done with and without the obstacles in the way, you can map several parts of your garden to your desire and create work schedules and more within the app which is pretty simple to use overall and you can see all this in the full video review below.

The set-up takes a few minutes I would suggest you put the antenna nearer your router for better signal and Bluetooth sometimes seemed to disconnect within a short range at time especially when mapping the mower however after some app updates which I had three of during my testing periods this seemed to cleared so be sure to get the latest app version, the app was tried on both Android and iOS devices for a clearer picture as we do with all out tech as sometimes there is some slight variants.

Once set up you can choose to move the Sunseeker by yourself via the remote control on your phone via the app or let it go and work by itself and fear not anything that does get in the way purposely will be avoided same as anything recorded in the mapping, you can set boundaries too and basically design your own layout if you have the room to do so as for the basic cut this is a breeze for the Sunseeker X5.

There is plenty of protection on the mower too with bumpers up front all really good suspension and of course it is all wheel drive and it not loud either as you will see in the video below compared to the standard mower which annoys most people especially those who do it early in the morning time which is a pet hate of mine and this will  not annoy your neighbours when it is your turn and gently flows around your garden and is fun to watch. The only obvious caveat is there is no bucket to catch the grass but hey this does the rest for you.

Tech Review – POCO X5 5G

The POCO X5 5G has been one of my daily drivers for some time now and first off the phone is super light and looks well and several asked about the device as the colour stands out with the colour I had, there is several nice colours to pick from which is a good start unlike others that have the typical Black or Silver but this now seems to be changing with many brands offering more than one or two colours on launch.

The brand might not be familiar here in retail but almost all other tech stores stock POCO devices and in my local town there is several of these shops that have several models from the POCO range and they stand out on the shelf with the prominent packaging and people often ask me about these devices.

The device itself has also variable price ranges depending where you shop so you need to do your home work as there is near a 100 euro difference from my research, see links below for where you can buy and a site I often use myself for buying tech at reduced prices with fast delivery.

I have done a thorough walk-through on the device which you can see below and I am not one to waffle on about specs but we shall talk about I found it over my time using it. Link here

I am a power user with phones and this phone for me served me well it must be said and would last me a day with what I typically use it for and that is everything. To begin with it has a huge screen being a 6.67 inch Amoled display with that buzz word 120Hz refresh rate that so many keep banging on about nobody really notices but at the price point it has it which is good and media consumption is quite good on it with lots of screen estate. The speaker is not too bad being honest either for the most part and loud enough but can sound flat depending on what you listen to and source.

The build is plastic but looks more expensive and the materials used obviously give it the light weight feel it has and in fact sometimes I thought I left it somewhere or on a table when in fact it was in my trousers or jacket pocket but you do get a case and I suggest you use it as that gives it a bit more thickness and of course protects it from getting marked etc  and it is not so bad for collecting fingerprints as other devices but that talk bores me today regarding the fingerprint collection as most devices do it with no case.

The POCO X5 is powered by the Snapdragon 695, now while I am use to more powerful phones I have to take into account my readers are not me, well most of them and for me this phone would serve anyone well with just browsing doing emails social media and shopping and get two days out of it where as for me I have a different set of needs many more apps some of which are a resource hog and overall it still got me though my days with no issues.

The camera for me on this phone was overall mixed to say the least I had this phone out both day and night and it did well for the most part but multiple times I got mixed results for the same photo no matter what mode I tried and in fact sometimes came out as good as higher end phones but this was and the lesser side of the scenario here. I found the front facing camera a better performer the stabilisation on the rear was a bit jankey and in the daytime it did quite well overall compared to using it at night and the slow mo was not great at all. But if you want it for your tiktok and your selfies you will be grand but check the video out and see for yourself and make your own mind up.

Overall it would serve anyone well on a budget it has a headphone jack it has a great battery and big bright display and that suits a good proportion of users out there and from what I see even locally there is many people now using POCO phones rather than going for brands in retail outlets and buying your phone sim free is the best option and it is something I have said for years, there is no need to sign up to two year contracts to have the latest and greatest when phones half the price and half the cost over the term of use will do and POCO suits that market very well and the POCO X5 5G can also fit in.

First Look – POCO X5 5G

Poco has some new phones on the market and today we are checking out the Poco X5 5G, POCO make affordable devices and gives people more features for their money which is a good thing and for me personally have seen many now in resellers here in Ireland and priced well and a good few models at that so there is something for any budget from my findings and that is what it is all about and the cost to performance ration has come onto mobile phones now some time. The last POCO device was the X4 Pro 5G s0 it will be interesting to see what has changed since then.

Today we unbox the latest on offer and take a tour of the device so if you have any questions feel free to ask as usual and we will gladly answer any questions you might have and stay tuned for more soon.

The POXO X5 5G comes with the processor Snapdragon 695 which provides an uninterrupted user experience for high speeds and performance, as well as high download speeds. The device offers the perfect combination of RAM and ROM to keep content smooth and enjoyable. Users who “run” many functions at the same time can switch from one application to another thanks to Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology 3.0 which allows more apps to stay active in the background.

Thanks to the battery at 5000mAh you can go from work apps to gaming, listening to content, surfing social media without a problem. No need to worry about low battery when you can watch videos on YouTube for 21 hours. The device charger at 33 can fully charge the device in just 68 minutes , that is, as long as it takes a break to eat before you continue gaming or the latest episode of your favorite series. A fully charged device gives you surfing and social media interaction up to 12 hours

Tech Review – Tranya X5 sports earbuds

The Tranya X5 sports earbuds are ideal for those on a budget and who wants to have a good audio experience when they go training or even just commuting these also have a gaming mode too which is becoming a more common feature on headphones and earbuds so these earbuds cater for everyone in short.

The fit is solid as they are hooked around your ears which makes it ideal for the gym, running and any fitness activity, they will not fall off after my testing and this is something folks need when using for fitness activities, not a day goes by when I hear from someone that has a lost an earbuds from jogging or training or just being careless so these again are ideal for such folk.

How these sound however is where it is at, there is no app access here so no EQ settings to contend with unless you want to try an EQ app which most are brutal being honest but out of the box they sound really good which is a good thing with a well balanced audio experience no distortion or tinny sounds when maxed out either which again is good and often the case you would find on earbuds sub 100 euro but not here. From my usual test run with audio, movies, streaming and gaming they did a great job and felt very centered overall, these have got big drivers inside with them being 14.2mm graphene drivers.

The controls also work a treat having all the features required and we demo this in the video review below, you can skip and reverse tracks higher and lower the volume access voice assistant and change modes all from the earbuds and you can also manage calls too. One thing is though you cant use the left one on its own only the right side works if the left is in the case which is not a huge deal as many earbuds have this mono approach some all you to use one side and some allow both.

Overall these are well equipped affordable pair of sports earbuds adding the safety of not losing them with a well balanced sound the latest bluetooth 5.3 so no lag latency or disconnecting with a below par battery life but nonetheless a decent pair of sports buds for those on a budget.

Creative launches its latest amplifier! The Sound Blaster X5

Creative Technology today launches the Sound Blaster X5, its latest USB DAC and amplifier sound card that ticks all the boxes on a discerning audiophile’s gear wish list. Decked with class-leading components, breakthrough audio technologies, a comprehensive connectivity profile and sporting a premium look and feel in a sleek build, the X5 simply pulls out all the stops as a compelling audio solution like no other.

Sound Blaster X5 means the business in both looks and performance.

This is It for Pristine Audio

Sound Blaster X5 personifies the best of Creative’s audio engineering and design expertise, equipped with audiophile-grade components to achieve exceptional audio quality. It is the first Sound Blaster to feature a dual-DAC design – 2 Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs deliver high-resolution lossless playback in 32-bit / 384 kHz over PCM with ultra-high dynamic range of up to 130 dB DNR. These DACs can also decode audio formats in DoP128 and DSD256 for high-fidelity audio streaming. Audio distortion is practically non-existent with an oversampled multi-bit modulator for an incredibly low Total Harmonic Distortion rating of 0.00018%.

From studio-grade headphones with impedance of up to 600 ohms, including the most demanding planar-magnetic headphones, to sensitive in-ear monitors with 1 ohm output impedance, Sound Blaster X5 drives them all effortlessly. The award-winning Xamp discrete headphone bi-amplification technology, which is found in the high-end Sound Blaster AE series and Sound BlasterX G6, receives a design upgrade that, coupled with a dual-DAC and dual-Xamp configuration, delivers a fully-balanced headphone output and experience on the X5. A next-level design for audio fidelity makes its debut, using 2 dedicated Xamp circuits that amplify the left and right channels separately in isolation throughout the entire chain of amplification, effectively eliminating in-circuit interference, noise and cross-talk. What makes the X5 stand out even more is the fact that this type of audio design is a rare find in its price category (sub-US$300).

Audiophiles with a lean to customize their own audio signatures can do just that with the Sound Blaster X5. When connected to the Creative app, they can make adjustments with a 10-band equalization frequency graph, add on Acoustic Engine effects like Surround, Crystalizer, Bass or Dialog+, or use CrystalVoice to improve communication quality. When in the mood for gaming, Scout Mode enhances in-game audio cues to highlight details for a competitive edge.

Sound Blaster X5 also supports ASIO 2.2 for low-latency playback and recording, as well as easy access to multiple audio inputs and outputs.

Full Marks for Connectivity

Sound Blaster X5 is a competent audio hub in its own right; its versatility means it is also compatible with various devices, including gaming consoles, DVD players and other living room entertainment systems. There are two-way RCA and TOSLINK Optical connectors, a convenient USB-C audio and power port, as well as a 3.5 mm microphone-in port with an easy-to-access mic gain knob. There is also a 4.4 mm port for studio-grade balanced headphones, and a 3.5 mm port for regular headphones. All 3 ports use premium gold-plated connectors for better performance. It features a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver and a dedicated USB-A host audio port for connection to wireless audio transmitters, as well as external USB speakers, headsets and microphones.

With a set of controls designed for an intuitive user experience, Sound Blaster X5’s front-mounted buttons and switches are easy to access and right at the fingertips for the audiophile’s convenience.

Sound Blaster X5 is priced at US$300, £269.99 and is available at the Creative online store.
