TCL Sparks Inspiration Across Italy with Olympic Winter Games Themed OOH Campaign and Brand Activations

TCL, a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, has launched a large-scale OOH campaign across Milan to celebrate the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Featuring advertising in more than 30 high-traffic locations and hundreds of placements throughout Milan and surrounding travel gateways, the campaign will run throughout the Olympic Winter Games period, with selected placements continuing until the end of March after the Paralympic Winter Games conclude.

As the Olympic Winter Games host city, Milan will welcome countless tourists heading to watch the action live. TCL hopes to spread the campaign message of ‘Inspire Greatness’ to global and local audiences, aligning the brand with the collective spirit, ambition, and human stories at the heart of the Olympic Winter Games.

Across Milan, TCL’s visuals appear along major arterial roads, on sightseeing buses, within metro stations, and at key travel points including Milan’s central railway stations, Malpensa and Linate airports and beyond into Venice and Verona. One of the campaign’s most visible installations is a billboard mounted on the 90-meter-high Tower of Municipal Technical Services in central Milan, establishing a strong visual presence across the city skyline.

“The theme of our OOH campaign and experiences is all around Inspiring Greatness – and this isn’t just for the athletes competing in the Olympic Winter Games, but for all of us who dare to push the boundaries,” said Stefan Streit, CMO, TCL Europe. “Our presence across Milan is designed to bring the spirit of this huge sporting moment into our everyday lives.”

Beyond outdoor visibility, TCL is also inviting audiences to engage with the brand through public-facing showcase in Milan. Designed around environmentally conscious principles, the showcase reflects TCL’s commitment to responsible innovation while offering hands-on experiences and photo-worthy moments.

TCL’s commitment extends through the TCL Road to Milano Cortina 2026 Tour – a travelling initiative that will visit multiple Italian cities at key shopping centers. Kicking off in Rome in November 2025, the tour has staged successful pop-up activations in Rome, Turin and Venice, and now arrives in Milan. It continues at MILAN IL CENTRO ARESE, running through to 15 March, where TCL has visibility on the balaustre of the ice-skating area next to the booth. TCL’s Olympic Winter Games themed booth is also open at the Milano Certosa offline store.

TCL will help millions of fans to enjoy the Olympic Winter Games on-site and worldwide by providing TVs, digital signage, and technical assistance to the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) so that media at the International Broadcasting Centre can bring Milano Cortina 2026 to global audiences. TCL’s ‘screen universe’ and other innovations such as AI-enabled air conditioners will also be featured in a TCL space at the Milano Olympic Village, showing how technology gives fans more choice than ever in how they enjoy the Olympic Winter Games, showing how technology gives fans more choice in how they experience the Olympic Winter Games.

As they settle in, TCL’s next-generation home appliances such as smart washing machines and dryers are helping them to enjoy a new level of comfort at the Anterselva and Livigno Olympic Villages, while TCL TVs help them relax and unwind. TCL is also supporting the “Athlete Moment”, providing the display technology that will connect athletes with their loved ones for moments of celebration immediately after each event.

TCL UK earns highest engagement at the Olympic Winter Games

The UK division of TCL recently recorded the highest online engagement across the Olympic Winter Games, according to findings compiled by Quantcast.

The AdTech firm tracked UK engagement across the open internet, including news sites and blogs, identifying both the sponsors and sports that received the greatest levels of interaction during the event. TCL saw the largest increase in online engagement across all sponsors, at 30 per cent.

These results reflect the strength of TCL’s approach to the Olympic Winter Games. Rather than simply appearing as a sponsor, we executed a series of activations designed to create genuine audience connection, most notably the local UK ‘In My Zone’ campaign, which featured short-form social content created directly with athletes. The campaign showcased how TCL’s TVs, soundbars and home technology support athletes in their day-to-day lives, from analysing track footage and self-coaching sessions, to gaming for mental reset, family movie nights and recovery routines.

Through a combination of local and global activations and an omnichannel strategy that balanced creativity with reach, TCL was able to meaningfully connect with audiences throughout the Olympic Winter Games.

As Team GB athletes enter the final crucial days of preparation for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, technology leader TCL is unveiling “In My Zone” – its first major athlete-led content campaign in the UK that brings audiences closer to the everyday lives of Britain’s winter athletes.

TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics and the world’s No.1 Ultra-large, Mini LED TV brand and Official Olympic Partner, is showcasing how its premium technology seamlessly integrates into the daily routines of Team GB athletes, supporting them not just in preparing to perform at their best, but in the vital moments of family life that make sporting success possible.

Real Athletes, Real Moments

“In My Zone” moves beyond traditional sports sponsorship to reveal the authentic, relatable moments that define an athlete’s journey. Through short-form social content created with the athletes themselves, fans will see how TCL’s premium QD-Mini LED TVs, soundbars and home technology support everything from analysing track footage and self-coaching sessions, to gaming for mental reset, family movie nights and recovery routines.

Across the campaign content, athletes share their personal perspectives on what being “In My Zone” means to them. Adele Nicoll, Team GB Bobsleigh pilot, explains in her clip: “Being In My Zone means I am 100% confident and focused on what I need to do. My TCL TV allows me to look over all of the track videos online so that I am really confident when I am standing on that block ready to compete what it is exactly that I need to be doing.

Meanwhile, Bruce Mouat, Team GB curler and reigning world champion, reveals: “Being In My Zone for me is controlling all the controllables, making sure that I have everything in place to make me be the best at performing when it comes to the crunch moments. TCL takes me out of the zone by letting me unwind in my own house, having the ability to watch movies, TV shows and blare the music as loud as possible. It helps me just unwind from a stressful day at training.

Technology That Powers Performance and Life

The campaign will feature TCL’s highly awarded television range including the Premium QD-Mini LED 144Hz C7K series and C6K series, alongside TCL soundbars. Content themes span five key areas all designed to showcase how technology enhances both the 1% performance gains athletes chase and the everyday moments that keep them grounded.

From “Replay + React” videos where athletes critique their own competition footage, to “Game On” content showing how gaming helps mental agility and injuries, the campaign celebrates the complete athlete experience. Fans will also get behind-the-scenes glimpses of wellness routines, training hacks, family time and the personality behind the podium performances.

Diana Fan, Marketing Manager at TCL UK, said: “TCL, as a Worldwide Olympic Partner, is honoured to be working with Team GB, a symbol of sporting excellence and national pride. Our mission to ‘Inspire Greatness’ aligns perfectly with the values of Team GB. Through ‘In My Zone,’ we’re going beyond traditional sponsorship to show how our industry-leading technology genuinely supports athletes in every aspect of their lives – from analysing the split-second decisions that win medals, to the downtime that protects their wellbeing.”

Tim Ellerton, Chief Commercial Officer at the British Olympic Association, added: “We’re delighted to see this campaign go live on the eve of Milano Cortina 2026 as we seek to encourage fans across the nation to get behind our athletes. At Team GB we are committed to shining a light on every part of our athletes’ stories, and this campaign with TCL plays an important role in showcasing how meticulous preparation is just as important as rest and relaxation for any athlete on the road to an Olympic Games.

‘In My Zone’ Content will begin rolling out across athlete social channels, TCL UK’s platforms and Team GB from 6th February 2025, continuing through the Olympic build-up into early 2026.

A Long-Term Commitment

As a Worldwide Olympic Partner, TCL’s sustained commitment to sport, innovation and community in the UK will go beyond Milano Cortina 2026 to the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games, 2030 French Alps Winter Games, and 2032 Brisbane Summer Games.

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will take place from 6-22 February 2026 across multiple venues in northern Italy.

Avoid being stranded in your car this winter

With batteries being the number one reason for breakdown recovery call outs, followed by tyres, a leading automotive supplier is advising drivers how they can solve these issues themselves and avoid a breakdown.

As the colder weather sets in and motorists face darker mornings, icy conditions and the Christmas getaway automotive supplier, Ring Automotive, is urging drivers to invest in tools that will help prevent them from having to call a recovery service.

Data analysed from some of the biggest names in the breakdown recovery industry, including the RAC, AA, Green Flag and Admiral, show that batteries are unanimously the number one reason for breakdown callouts* with the second most common reason being issues with tyres.

In winter, batteries are even more vulnerable, as cold temperatures reduce their performance and cars are often left standing for longer in freezing conditions. A flat battery usually just needs a jump start, so the best thing for a driver to keep in their vehicle is a portable jump starter. This means no need to rely on another vehicle and the driver can rescue themselves in a matter of minutes.

ULTRABOOST 1500 (RJS030) is Ring Automotive’s most advanced jump starter and is capable of jump starting vehicles with up to 6L petrol and 3L diesel engines, which means it’s suitable for most 12V cars, vans, SUVs and LCVs. Included in the jump starter is the ULTRABOOST button, which when pressed delivers enough power to start completely flat batteries.

Another common reason for calling a breakdown service is for a flat or severely underinflated tyre. In autumn and winter the roads become more treacherous with the rain, ice and possible snow, meaning it is more important than ever to optimise grip on the road. While there are many who still go to a fuel forecourt to top up the air in their tyres, savvy drivers are now keeping a tyre inflator in their cars to avoid these problems.

The ULTRAINFLATE 30 is designed for speed and ease of use. It is capable of inflating a tyre from flat in just two minutes**. It has a longer wind up cable at 3.5m and a 70cm long hose with a large brass connector for a secure fit. It has auto stop technology, as well as a large digital display screen.

Marketing Director for Ring, Henry Bisson, said: “We have seen many reasons for people calling a recovery company, but for something like a flat battery or tyre, drivers can solve these issues themselves. We’ve created products that are easy to use and can be used multiple times, so even in a stressful situation, drivers can get back on the road in a timely manner. We encourage everyone to keep a jump starter and tyre inflator in their boot, they’re compact enough that they won’t take up much room and can get you back on the road much quicker than waiting potentially hours for a recovery service.”

MeacoHeat Motion Heater will keep you warm and cosy this winter. #Meaco

Colder weather is on its way, so now is a good time to consider investing in a portable heater, that is motion activated, to help warm up those cooler spots in your home.

The MeacoHeat Motion Heater is the perfect product to keep your home warm and cosy throughout any cold spell. Where traditional heating systems use thermostats to maintain a room’s temperature regardless of how frequently the room is used, the MeacoHeat Motion Heater can be used much more economically. It can be used as a standalone unit for spaces that may be less-frequently used, but still require heating. A motion detection sensor means the unit will only be activated once a person walks into the room. When they leave the room, the heater will switch off, allowing the user to save money on heating bills and helping the environment. MeacoHeat Motion Heaters use safe PTC ceramic technology to offer fast start-up time. A thermal cut out and tilt safety switch ensure that, if they are accidentally knocked over, they switch off.

A fan option means they can be used all year, adding warmth in the summer months on a chill day, but becoming a fan to cool a room in hotter weather. The smaller model, 1.8kW has two outputs levels to save energy, a 1-7 hour off timer and a fan only mode for summer use. The larger 2.0Kw adds oscillation to the specification to distribute the heat evenly through a 70° arc. A three-level thermostat replaces the off timer to provide another level of control.

There are two models, available in either red, black or white and with their small and stylish design, they are sure to look great in any room in a house. MeacoHeat Motion Heaters are the perfect solution for filling in with some extra heat when needed.

Stay safe in the saddle this winter with these e-bike safety tips. #Ebikes #Cycling

In the past six months e-bikes sales have boomed. The restrictions have seen many people turn to electric bikes as an alternative way to travel to work or move around town as safely as possible. Now, many have discovered the joy and flexibility e-bikes bring and plan to carry on using them in the autumn and winter as restrictions come back into play.

But how can riders best keep themselves safe during darker, wet, colder days where hazards such as leaves and snow can make the roads more dangerous? Adrien Roose, CEO and founder of Cowboy offers seven tips to ensure riders keep safe as the weather changes.

Use your head: Helmets are without question essential for safety on the road and in winter are more vital than ever. Unfortunately, many are still riding without any head protection – as shown in a study by Statista and YouGov. But there really is no excuse.  There is a great range available including smart helmets which look stylish and offer great features such as integrated lighting, turn signals and bluetooth connections. These features not only offer rider convenience and style but also increase safety.

Stand out: Rain and early twilight can cause poor visibility amongst road users. In order to be seen clearly it’s essential to have functional lighting. Electric lights and reflectors for the rear and front as well as for the pedals and spokes are a must have. When selecting a bike, look for those that have thought of winter riding and use features such as flashing to indicate braking.

Maintain the brakes: Salt, dirt and moisture can damage the brake material. A quick check up before each ride to ensure the pads have a good grip as well as regular cleaning of the hydraulic disk brakes will keep riders safe in traffic. It’s important to note that brake pads and rims are marked to show the level of usage.

Keeping the chain smooth: Water as well as road dirt increases abrasion of the chain, which ultimately leads to squeaking and corrosion. So make sure you are regularly cleaning it with either warm water or a chain cleaner. Some e-bikes, such as the Cowboy, are equipped with a carbon belt drive that is maintenance-free for up to 30,000 kilometers.

Keep batteries away from the cold: At temperatures below 10 °C special care is required for the cells: If possible it is recommended to take them inside with you into your home or workplace. If you are not using your bike for a long period of time, the battery should be stored in a dry place between 10 °C – 20 °C and recharged once every 1-2 months to ensure a charging level of approx. 60-80% and to prevent it draining completely. Choose a bike with a removable battery like the Cowboy 3 to keep it protected without having to store the whole frame.

Improving traction: If you plan to ride your electric bike outdoors all autumn and winter, you should either mount special winter tires or slightly reduce the tire pressure for a better surface contact which will increase the traction. For a puncture free ride, tires with a high-performance protective layer are also useful. With new tires it is essential to pay attention to their size in combination with the mudguards. Our tires are designed to withstand all weather conditions and are puncture resistant making them ideal for any season.

Take advantage of the features: Software developments mean that it’s sophisticated enough to now help users keep as safe as possible. The App has a great array of features including the recently launched ‘Crash Detection’ which means that if you are involved in a crash then an emergency contact is notified of your location if you fail to respond to the app asking if you’re ok. This is a great feature to give both the rider and family peace of mind.
