Ring unveils ULTRASTART + AIR – a compact jump starter and inflator

Renowned auto accessory giant, Ring Automotive, has long been dedicated to providing the aftermarket with new and exciting products, and one of its first of 2026 is the ULTRASTART + AIR!

This new product is a powerful, multi‑functional emergency tool combining a jump starter and tyre inflator in one compact unit.

Similar to other products in its portfoilio, this new product from Ring is not limited to being just one piece of equipment, but multiple. The ULTRASTART + AIR is a jump starter, tyre inflator, as well as an LED light and powerbank to ensure the user has everything available to them in an emergency. It is also a compact item that can easily be stored in the glove compartment or anywhere in the vehicle if necessary.

For the jump starter aspect of the tool, its comes with two smart clamps that offer reverse polarity protection and also has a boost function for starting dead batteries. In addition, the ULTRASTART + AIR has integrated hose storage for the tyre inflator element and a storage bag that will hold all of the extra accessories it comes with.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “We are regularly conducting market research on what would be the most helpful to technicians as well as drivers, which is where the ULTRASTART + AIR has come from. Having one piece of equipment that can solve a variety of problems is convenient for all and so, very popular, which is why more of the tools we’re introducing to the market are multi functional.

“The ULTRASTART + AIR is a very powerful tool and due to its suitability for many vehicles, we anticipate this being one of our bestsellers.”

Ring launches its smallest & most affordable cordless tyre inflator.

Renowned auto accessory giant, Ring Automotive, is continuing to dominate the tyre care market. After its launch with its TYREInflate range earlier in the year the company has launched the TYREInflate GO 10 (RTC1600) a compact, cordless digital tyre inflator designed to make tyre care quick, simple and affordable.

Within the 20 years that Ring has been in the tyre care marketing, it has curated an award winning and highly respected range of tyre inflators. However, with the cost of living continuing to rise, the business has decided to launch a competitively priced tyre inflator range to ensure everyone has access to help they need for tyre safety.

Lightweight and easy to store, the TyreInflate GO 10 can inflate a 13” tyre from flat to 35PSI in under six minutes. Its cordless rechargeable design, flexible 20cm hose and built-in light make it practical for everyday drivers. The digital display ensures accurate readings, while three included adaptors allow inflation of sports balls and small inflatables. The inflator also comes with a storage bag for convenience.

The cordless design means that users can easily move around a vehicle to inflate tyres without wires getting in the way.

There is also a handy light to illuminate the valve in low light and it comes complete with a storage bag.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “We have been expanding our tyre care range rapidly over the last few years, but we’re conscious of price and wanted to ensure everyone can afford to look after their tyres, which is why we’ve launched our affordable tyre care range.

“We want to make sure people are regularly checking their tyres, as they’re such a safety critical element. Therefore, we’ve created many different models and made them easy to use, but now we want to combine this with the product being cost effective. We’re hoping with the competitive nature of this new range, there’s no reason for drivers not to have a tyre inflator in their car.”

NIRA Dynamics unveils Tread Wear Indicator

NIRA Dynamics, a leader in automotive software innovation, announces the launch of its latest breakthrough product: the Tread Wear Indicator (TWI). TWI delivers real-time monitoring of tire wear, providing drivers and fleet operators with critical insights into tire health.

As the automotive industry shifts from traditional service intervals to continuous, data-driven monitoring, tire health is emerging as a top maintenance priority. Tire wear directly impacts vehicle safety, fuel efficiency, and environmental sustainability, and NIRA’s TWI is a game-changing solution that addresses these issues head-on.

“Our mission with TWI is to bring a new level of reliability and ease to tire monitoring,” says Josefin Storm, Product Manager TWI of NIRA Dynamics. “As the industry moves toward greener, more sustainable solutions, TWI is here to support that journey. It not only ensures safer driving for individuals but also offers fleet operators a cost-effective way to maintain their vehicles efficiently.”

Enhanced Safety for Drivers and Fleets
Low tread depth can increase braking distances and compromise handling, especially on wet or icy roads. By continuously monitoring tread wear, TWI provides early warnings that enable drivers to replace tires before they reach a critical level of wear. For fleet operators, TWI’s insights allow for better planning, avoiding unexpected tire replacements and ensuring fleet vehicles are safe and roadworthy.

Sustainability Through Data-Driven Decisions
TWI aligns with NIRA’s commitment to sustainability by helping drivers make more informed choices regarding tire replacement. With TWI, tires can be replaced when necessary, reducing waste, lowering particle emissions, and supporting greener driving practices. This data-driven approach to tire maintenance is particularly impactful in fleet management, where optimizing tire usage can lead to significant environmental benefits.

No Additional Hardware Needed

Unlike other tire monitoring systems that require expensive hardware, TWI operates solely on the existing sensors in the vehicle. This means, low cost and low/no maintenance.

Roadmap and Future Developments

Through close collaboration with industry partners and OEMs, NIRA Dynamics aims to make TWI a standard for tire health monitoring, meeting the needs of an evolving automotive landscape.

“This is just the beginning,” adds Lisa Åbom. “Our team is dedicated to refining and expanding the capabilities of TWI to ensure that every driver, fleet operator, and manufacturer has access to reliable, real-time data for safer, more sustainable driving.”
