The Nokia Treasure Tag WS-2 was announced some time back,also the Treasure Tag Mini WS-10 was announced,to date none are available to buy in stores here in Ireland.

Expansys to rescue once again with the WS-2 in stock and the WS-10 expected in the next few days.Starting at €24.99 plus shipping these prices are on par.

A look at the #Nokia Treasure tag and Treasure tag mini. #Nokia

Hi today we are going to have a quick look at the new treasure tags from Nokia.Sadly things are limited to demonstrate the full potential of both tags due to the update requirements on devices.So we can have a look at the tags and whats inside them for now.

First up is the WS 2 the bigger of the two which was announced first.This works via NFC.

Next is the WS-10 the latest tag which is smaller and half the thickness.

Hopefully we will see both these in Ireland soon with a price tag of around 30-50 euros

We could only get the treasure tag mini to connect to our Lumia 630 via bluetooth as all our other devices are on 8.1 preview so its unfortunate not to see the tags in full action but we have the Lumia 630 connected for now and here is how they look and what to expect.

We have been showing these tags around the last few days and people seem to like them in general as regards to their design,they do look nice,you can also connect to android devices and iOS devices that support Bluetooth 4.0 you can get the apps from the respective stores.

Nokia treasure tags are now starting to show some signs of life after the long wait and now with amazon at hand they are available.

The WS-2 is on offer from amazon uk for £24.99 plus shipping so it will set you back around 35 euros here in ireland..

Only yesterday we brought you the news of the treasure tag mini been quietly announced,today nokia confirm the original treasure tag is now available to buy after some delays to the product.

 

 

When paired with your Lumia using either Bluetooth (4.0) or NFC, the Nokia Treasure Tag will stay in constant communication with your smartphone, telling it that it’s close by.

If you get up and leave without taking the tagged item with you, both the Nokia Treasure Tag and your Lumia will emit a tone to alert you of the fact.

Most of the time, the audio alert is all you’ll need to be reunited with your belongings. However, if you can’t hear the tone, the Nokia Treasure Tag app on your phone will show you where the connection was lost on a map.

You can pair up to four Nokia Treasure Tags to your Lumia at any one time, leaving no prized possession untagged.

Nokia Treasure Tag comes in four different colours: cyan, yellow, white and black. With a recommended retail price of €24,90 / $29.90, the Nokia Treasure Tag is available now globally, with the exception of China where it will be available later this month.
