New ticketing structure. Same WOW.

IFA 2025 places greater emphasis on accessibility, comfort, and value. The updated ticketing model reflects how most guests plan their time at the event, while enabling more focused access to exhibits, activations and features.

To avoid missed moments, major public programming will start after 12:00 on Friday.

At the heart of this collaboration with the Home Again Club Festival is the panel “Innovation, imagination and the future of the music scene“, on 31 May. Artists, DJs and tech visionaries will explore how sound, innovation and community co-create tomorrow´s cultural spaces – openly, inspiringly, and with a visionary spirit. Expect fresh perspectives, honest conversations and a preview of how IFA Moments is redefining what a tech platform can be.

“With Home Again Festival, we’ve found a partner who shares our vision: To make technology something you don’t just see but feel and experience. In the club, on stage, and through dialogue. Technology is part of a wider cultural movement and that’s exactly what we aim to highlight with IFA Moments, as our contribution to the cultural scene,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Berlin.

IFA Moments creates direct exchange between brands, artists, communities and technologies. Ground-breaking live stage show asks audience to ‘game’ their way through performance in real time – 7 Deadly Sins in The Civic Theatre on July 12th and 13th

Imagine a stage-show where you don’t just immerse yourself in the story, enjoy the music and marvel at the spectacle, but you also get to actively ‘game’ your way through the performance and influence what happens on stage?

‘7 Deadly Sins’ is the world’s first hybrid eGaming and storytelling stage show, and it will premier a number of development performances in The Civic Theatre, Tallaght on the 12th and 13th of July. Utilising ground-breaking mapping technology, created in partnership with Maynooth University, the audience use a simple app on their mobile phone to become ‘active’ participants, creating a seamless interaction between the audience and performers in real-time. So instead of being told to ‘put your phone away’ when you enter the theatre, this performance will be asking you to get your phone out and be a part of the show!

This steam-punk rock opera, created by Irish playwright and technologist Niall Austin and directed by Prof. David Bassuk, re-imagines Dante Alighieri’s iconic 14th century masterpiece ‘Inferno’ for the 21st century. The 7 Deadly Sins are positioned as digital or social media channels such as:

  • Photo and video sharing apps represent Envy
  • Dating apps represent Lust
  • Cryptocurrency represents Greed

While the performance is taking place live on stage, audience members can engage in combat with an array of virtual demons, zombies and dragons through an app available on IOS and Android. Spectators are encouraged to hold up their phones during the show and partake in the performance by using the app which features augmented reality gaming technology contextually designed around the on-stage production.

Starring opera sensation Claudia Boyle, rising hip-hop star Fortune Igiebor and singer and actress Aoife Spratt, the performance also features a host of other, never before seen interactive features.

Niall Austin, the show’s creator, says: “7 Deadly Sins not only brings a traditional piece of literature into the 21st century, it is a dynamic experience which offers the audience a new frontier in live entertainment – where technology, narrative and performance marry together create an unforgettable stage show. Live entertainment is constantly evolving with many young people now attending concerts and shows to take photos and videos. I am looking forward to enhancing audience engagement and creating an incredible experience for attendees.”

Donal Shiels, Artistic Director at The Civic, says: “It is an exciting time in the world of theatre where technology can be incorporated into stage productions to create a new and interesting experience for audience members. We are delighted to be bringing a world first to The Civic Theatre as we remain committed to evolving with the ever changing technology landscape. Following the incredible success of Niall’s last two shows – PL-AI and Deep Fake – we are looking forward to seeing the interaction between the audience and the performers.”

7 Deadly Sins takes place in The Civic Theatre, Tallaght on Friday 12th July and Saturday 13th July at 7:30pm

As a ‘development performance, tickets are available for €12 here: https://www.civictheatre.ie/whats-on/7-deadly-sins/

How to perfect your marketing strategy at a trade show?

Trade shows are among the best methods companies can use to market their products. They provide the perfect opportunity for many potential customers to interact with your company and products. If utilized effectively, trade shows can help your company get new clients and increase profitability.

As part of your company’s marketing efforts, you must plan for trade shows early. Ensure you have a budget to enter the exhibitions, research, and the right staff representing your company.

Here are tips on how a trade show can enhance your marketing strategy.

Increase your company visibility

Hire a contemporary exhibitions booth design company to conceptualize and build an attractive booth that helps you drive your marketing efforts. They will create a booth that brings out the best in your company and attracts people to it at trade shows.

Marketing seeks to create awareness of a business and its existence. The right trade show for your business will help you achieve a substantial percentage of your marketing targets.

You get the best return on investment in a trade show if you attract many people to your company booth. You will do this by designing and creating an attractive booth and providing a pleasing experience, knowledge, and products.

Besides the booth, ensure you have sufficient branded marketing materials and samples for the exhibition. It will increase your visibility in the trade show and ensure many visitors come to your booth.

Incorporating direct mail advertising before and after the trade show can help reinforce your brand message and maximize your outreach

Speak at the trade show

Another efficient and effective marketing activity for a trade show is speaking. Often, high-level trade exhibitions allow a few of their exhibitors to book a speaking session. It is a paid-for marketing opportunity for your business.

To make this opportunity pay off, identify the people in the crowd and how your products can benefit them. Besides providing a demonstration of your product, it is a public invitation to hundreds to visit your booth.

The better your presentation, the more likely people who watch or listen to it will visit your booth.

Identify the best trade show for your company

If you use trade shows as part of your marketing strategy, attend only the best industry trade shows. Only attend exhibitions that will attract potential customers for your products.

They may be expensive to exhibit, but the benefit is visible in your company’s bottom line.

Have the right people in the booth

While you may have the most attractive booth at the exhibition, ensure that the people inside are well-trained to handle customers, demonstrate your product, and develop new leads.

Follow up with connections made

As part of your marketing strategy, create a plan to follow up on leads generated by the exhibition. It will lead to impactful sales, profits, and partnerships for the company.

Conclusion

Trade shows are essential activities that enhance marketing and strengthen your company’s brand. Therefore, they require proper planning and preparation to get a return on investment, for this reason, choose the trade shows you attend carefully for maximum benefit.
