Ring extends its successful ULTRABOOST range

Renowned auto accessory giant, Ring Automotive, has once again exceeded all expectations with its newest product, the ULTRABOOST 2000A (RJS040) jump starter is its most powerful ULTRABOOST yet.

The ULTRABOOST 2000A is capable of jump starting eight litre petrol and four litre diesel engines, making it suitable for the vast majority of the car parc. It also has a Boost button that can energise batteries that are completely dead and comes with long cables, making it a convenient piece of equipment for all.

The ULTRABOOST 2000A is quick and easy to use, taking just 60 seconds to connect and start the engine effectively, meaning drivers can get back on the road that much quicker. It also has a large colour screen that has a battery indicator and colour status so the health of the battery is easy to determine.

The screen also provides clear instructions for the user, such as the green star, which indicates the driver can turn the engine over and a red warning light for reverse polarity protection. There is also an ‘in’ signal which shows the unit is recharging and an ‘out’ signal to show the unit is charging another device by powerbank. Finally, it has an orange coloured ‘low’ to show battery’s power is too low for a jumpstart, so the Boost button should be used.

Helpfully, the ULTRABOOST also has an integrated powerbank, that can charge phones, tablets and even laptops, as well as an LED light when needed.

Isibéal Ní Cheallaigh – Irish voice for Ring Doorbells & how to set up

After a nationwide search that took to the busy streets of Dublin to the wild Atlantic coast,Isibéal Ní Cheallaigh has been chosen the official Irish voice for Ring Video Doorbell.

Last summer, Ring launched a search for a voice that represents the warmth, charm and unique character of Ireland. The response was incredible, with hundreds attending auditions in Dublin, Cork and Galway while many more entered via social media.

Meet Isibéal Ní Cheallaigh: The Voice at Your Door

Isibeál – who is from Dublin and currently lives in Galway – is a former primary school teacher, teaching through Irish, who left full-time teaching to complete a cleachtas gairmiúl sna meáin master’s degree in media. During her studies, she’s worked as a musician and in the media, most recently on TG4’s Ros na Rún. Her entry into Ring was almost accidental.

“I’d heard about the Ring ‘Voice of the Nation’ auditions from a friend the week before they came to town, but I forgot they were taking place,” Isibéal shared. “By chance, I was walking through the shopping centre on audition day, and I thought I’d get involved for the craic.”

That spontaneous decision paid off. Her reaction to the news was genuine: “I really didn’t expect it or think it was going to happen!”

Her family’s reaction was equally memorable. “But when I found out I’d been chosen, I rang my mum and told her I’d got it. My brother was with her at the time, and his reaction was so funny. He was like ‘so you’re going to be a doorbell?’ – it was gas.”


A Celebration of Irish Identity and Language

This campaign celebrated what makes Ireland unique. Research revealed that 55% of Irish people are “head over heels in love” with their accent. In a historic first for Ring, the new Quick Replies feature includes an option for greetings in the Irish language.

For Isibéal, a fluent speaker, this is a meaningful addition.

“There’s a huge rise in the Irish language at the moment, even in ads and on posters. Lots of things are shown in two languages, so it’s very important to have that option as well,” she explained.

How Quick Replies Work

Quick Replies act as an answering machine for your front door. When a visitor presses your Video Doorbell, they can hear a pre-recorded greeting if you are unable to answer. It is a simple way to let delivery drivers know where to leave a package or tell friends you will be right there.

Starting today, Isibéal’s voice is available to all Ring customers in Ireland and the UK. Whether you want a friendly greeting in English or a traditional fáilte in Irish, you can customises your Video Doorbell to sound like home.

Ring unveils ULTRASTART + AIR – a compact jump starter and inflator

Renowned auto accessory giant, Ring Automotive, has long been dedicated to providing the aftermarket with new and exciting products, and one of its first of 2026 is the ULTRASTART + AIR!

This new product is a powerful, multi‑functional emergency tool combining a jump starter and tyre inflator in one compact unit.

Similar to other products in its portfoilio, this new product from Ring is not limited to being just one piece of equipment, but multiple. The ULTRASTART + AIR is a jump starter, tyre inflator, as well as an LED light and powerbank to ensure the user has everything available to them in an emergency. It is also a compact item that can easily be stored in the glove compartment or anywhere in the vehicle if necessary.

For the jump starter aspect of the tool, its comes with two smart clamps that offer reverse polarity protection and also has a boost function for starting dead batteries. In addition, the ULTRASTART + AIR has integrated hose storage for the tyre inflator element and a storage bag that will hold all of the extra accessories it comes with.

In terms of the engines it can assist with, it’s suitable for up to a six litre petrol and three litre diesel engine. It has a clear display, is easy to use and has an ergonomic body, so is comfortable to hold.

After its launch with its TYREInflate range earlier in the year the company has launched the TYREInflate GO 10 (RTC1600) a compact, cordless digital tyre inflator designed to make tyre care quick, simple and affordable.

Within the 20 years that Ring has been in the tyre care marketing, it has curated an award winning and highly respected range of tyre inflators. However, with the cost of living continuing to rise, the business has decided to launch a competitively priced tyre inflator range to ensure everyone has access to help they need for tyre safety.

Detection Technology introduces revolutionary all-in-one CT detector system

Detection Technology, a global leader in X-ray detector solutions, introduces a game-changing all-in-one CT (computed tomography) detector system, purpose-built for X-ray system manufacturers and integrators. The all-in-one CT detector system integrates key components, including detector modules, data combiner boards, data control boards, and optimized slip ring interfaces.
