Tech Review – Planet Buddies wireless headphones for kids.

Planet Buddies recently announced new headphones for kids which are a safer option with a volume limit and they also look nice with the colours they have on offer. Having tested these out with my daughter they are a really nice pair of headphones for kids lightweight and give good sound considering they are aimed at kids.

Design and build

These are lightweight and can be worn for long periods of time and can be connected to tablets and mobile phones and you also have the option to share the headphones with an extra headphone socket built in.

Controls

The controls are kept nice and simple here and are on one side with a nav pad type setup build into the outer cup of the headphones and they work really well, the power key serves as a play and pause button to and you can skip and reverse tracks and control the volume too with this navi pad control and it will be super simple for kids to follow unlike more high end ones that would be confusing to some extent but kids still often get them as gifts etc so simplicity is key here.

Sound

Sound is great considering they are kids headphones after all and even from my own testing they pass as a decent quality set of headphones with good sound and not forgetting the volume control here too which is a good thing as for me I like to go max volume which is more than likely doing my ears no good. There is no app or anything like that so it is a simple job to just connect to the desired device and off you go job done.

Conclusion

These are ideal for kids and make a great gift idea and look nice and easy to recommend with the safety aspect of keeping your kids hearing in check they should be on your list for Christmas or birthdays or if you want to just cheer a child up as they are not expensive either. They also have a really good battery life as you know how it is with kids they forget to charge things,these go a good distance. The new wireless headphones comes in a variety of characters including Pepper the Penguin, Olive the Owl and Pippin the Panda. The headphones allow kids the freedom to move without a wire and get the feel of what wireless headphones is as most would be custom to cabled options.

Planet Buddies Expands on Conservation Efforts with Major Charities. #PlanetBuddies

Planet Buddies, an environmentally conscious child friendly  accessory brand announces their first charitable partnerships in pledge to educate and support  conservation efforts and educate children through use of technology. 

Successfully launching in the summer of 2020, Planet Buddies products were designed and created  specifically for children. The Planet Buddies brand was born out of a dedication in raising awareness  for endangered animals all over the world and educating children on what they can do to help. 

 

Starting in January, the partnership will see an annual investment made to these two highly  regarded and respected UK based charities. Planet Buddies products will be split across the charities,  for example, water-based product packaging like ‘Noah the Whale’ will bare the charity logo and  support for the Marine Conservation Society. ‘Olive the Owl’ and land-based animals will carry the  World Land Trust logo and investments here will go towards specific programs like Keepers of the  Wild which supports many of their partner organisations to employ local men and women as  rangers, straight into conservation’s frontline.

Planet Buddies launched a new range of products some weeks ago and now are available to purchase these are primarily aimed at kids and they have a nice suite of tech products which also sends a message about the planet and keeping things green.

 

There is three types of headphones on offer and all have a DB limit to 85DB for the safety of kids ears and something perhaps I should pay heed to as I love to go max out on volume all the time. My review is based on how they look work and sound and not the usual review I do as these are aimed at kids however they sound good and very useable indeed and also look great with their colours and the message they are trying to get across now like many companies in the tech world.
