Irish businesses explore next wave of AI adoption at Dell Technologies Innovate

Pictured attending the Tech Rally at the Dell Technologies Innovate event at Royal Hospital Kilmainham recently were Mark Hopkins, Managing Director, Dell Technologies Ireland, and Alex Rice, Field Product Manager at Dell Technologies Ireland, alongside over 100 technology leaders, industry experts and IT decision-makers who explored how organisations across Ireland are preparing for the next phase of AI-driven transformation.

The event also featured Dell’s ‘Tech Rally Anywhere’ showcase, bringing a hands-on experience of the latest devices and technologies shaping the future of work in Ireland. The showcase provided IT leaders with the opportunity to experience Dell’s latest AI PCs and latest devices and how they can empower employees in the workplace.

With AI continuing to move from concept to practical deployment, discussions throughout the day centred on the importance of building strong digital foundations from modern devices to resilient, secure and scalable infrastructure.

Attendees explored how modern devices and emerging technologies are evolving new ways of working. A dedicated showcase area gave audience the opportunity to experience the latest generation of Dell devices and workplace solutions first-hand, including newly launched AI PCs. The interactive setup demonstrated how advancements in device performance, collaboration tools and connectivity are enabling more flexible and productive ways of working across today’s hybrid work environment.

OneOdio Studio Max 1 Wireless Over-Ear DJ Headphones Review

The OneOdio Studio Max 1 Wireless Over-Ear DJ Headphones are a pair of ove-ear cans that impress from a listening experience via a mobile in my tests as I have no DJ equipment they have been tested on both Android and iOS and with not having a companion app which is dissapointing they still deliver on audio and its all good.

The build quality is great here and not too heavy eiather with plus cups that cover the ears nicely and block out much of the external noise with not having ANC listed on the specs, having said that if you are at home and turn these up to the max you will hear NOTHING!!

These also fold up and you get a nice carry bag inside along with all the extra cables and a dongle and they have ultra low latency which is 20ms with wired connectivity via 3.5mm/6.35mm jacks for instruments like guitars and keyboards and so on which again I do not own.

The OneOdio Studio Max 1 are equipped with 50mm drivers featuring OFC copper-clad coils, these headphones deliver deep bass and crystal-clear highs, lows and mids are fine and all genres tested in my usual test run these did not dissapoint even down to to hearing more intricate details than you would not expect to which was a win for me and when the volume is turned up to the max you will be impressed and I can only imagine how they would sound in a DJ set up and so on. Calls also sounded great during my testing and clear both ends again maxed out volume which is how I prefer to use my earbuds and headphones.

There is some controls on the right cup being your power on/off volume up and down skip and reverse tracks and play and pause, there is also the option to change modes, there is 4 in total and access to your voice assistant and the keys work really well. you also have your headphone socket and USB-C charge port.

The Dell Technologies Forum took place at the RDS in Dublin with Peter O’Mahony, former Ireland rugby captain and Grand Slam winner, Lynne Cantwell, most capped Irish women’s rugby player and Head of Women’s Strategy at the IRFU, David Humphreys, former Ireland international and Performance Director at the IRFU headlining the event which showcased how AI can help organisations drive peak performance, increase productivity and spark innovation.

The Forum brought together approximately 600 of business and IT leaders to explore the latest developments in AI-powered transformation, the next generation of AI PCs, modern data centres and multicloud strategies. Conversations centred on how these advances can help strengthen competitiveness and unlock new growth opportunities.

 This comes as Dell’s Innovation Catalyst Study 2025 revealed that while 76% of Irish organisations view AI as a strategic driver of business growth, almost half (46%) are struggling to keep pace with rapid technological change and concerns around security, expertise and compliance.

Peter O’Mahony took to the stage to share lessons from elite sport on building a high-performance culture on and off the pitch, while Lynne Cantwell and David Humphreys discussed how teamwork, leadership and innovation can help organisations thrive in an era of technological transformation.

Dell introduces AI PCs and smart dock portfolio to boost workplace productivity

Today Dell Technologies announced the availability of its streamlined Dell Pro and Dell Pro Plus AI PCs, alongside the newly unveiled Smart Dock portfolio, designed to optimise AI-powered workflows and enhance workplace management.

Building on its commitment to simplifying computing solutions, Dell’s streamlined AI PC lineup is categorized into three distinct offerings: Dell (for play, school, and work), Dell Pro (for professional-grade productivity), and Dell Pro Max (for maximum performance). The Dell Pro range now features expanded silicon choices, including AMD Ryzen processors for the first time, as well as Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 2), delivering extended battery life and improved performance.

Amongst the latest additions the Dell Pro 13/14/16 Plus business laptops, offers a sleek aluminum design, unified BIOS management, and a combined driver set across silicon options to simplify IT operations. Introducing the Dell Pro Smart Dock Family

Dell’s latest Smart Docks portfolio offers industry-leading power and connectivity for AI-optimised workflows.

These docks include the Dell Pro Dock, Dell Pro Smart Dock, Dell Pro Thunderbolt 4 Smart Dock, and Dell Pro Thunderbolt 5 Smart Dock. Designed to support AI PC workstyles, the docks deliver impressive power ranging from 100W to 300W and allow simultaneous support for up to four high-resolution displays without unnecessary cable clutter, and feature USB-A PowerShare ports for charging additional devices.

To further streamline IT management, Dell’s Device Management Console and Display and Peripheral Manager introduce cloud-based remote management for dock and peripherals, enabling firmware updates, fleet-wide device oversight, and large-scale updates without requiring direct PC connections or additional software installations.
