Floki Partners with Rice Robotics to Launch AI Companion Robot

Rice Robotics, a Hong Kong-based robotics startup, has announced the launch of an AI-powered companion robot, the Minibot M1, developed in partnership with Floki. The robot will operate on the decentralized RICE AI protocol and integrate features designed to support everyday tasks and foster emotional interaction with users.

The Minibot M1, branded in collaboration with Floki, will function as a personal assistant capable of managing household schedules, retrieving online information, and offering companionship through interactive features like music, storytelling, and conversational engagement. Users interacting with the robot will earn $RICE tokens in return, forming part of a data collection and training ecosystem for robotic intelligence.

The launch of the robot will be accompanied by the introduction of the $RICE token, which will serve as the utility token of the RICE AI protocol. The token will debut on TokenFi Launchpad, with staking opportunities available for holders of $TOKEN, the native token of TokenFi. Airdrops of $RICE will also be issued to holders and stakers of both $FLOKI and $TOKEN.

Rice Robotics has partnerships with several major corporations including SoftBank, Nvidia, Dubai Future Foundation, NTT Japan, and Mitsui Fudosan. Its robots are currently deployed in commercial delivery settings across Japan, including unmanned indoor delivery for 7-Eleven Japan and office services at SoftBank headquarters.

Floki’s involvement marks another step in its broader strategy to expand into tokenized AI and blockchain-enabled services. Through its sister project TokenFi, Floki aims to facilitate the tokenization of real-world assets and data, including AI-generated content and robotic learning models.

Earlier this year, Rice Robotics secured over $7 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Soul Capital, and Audacy Ventures. The company is working toward a decentralized data-sharing model where robots can autonomously exchange training data to improve performance without centralized oversight.

The AI robotics sector is currently valued at approximately $22 billion and is projected to exceed $100 billion by 2030, according to industry estimates.

Both Xbox and PlayStation charge users to access multiplayer gaming. Although the services (Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus) include monthly games and discounts, they’re ongoing expenses. Meanwhile on PC, multiplayer is usually free outside of specific subscriptions like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV.

PC gamers also enjoy a level of control over their ecosystem that console players don’t. You’re not restricted to a single storefront. You can choose between Steam, GOG, Epic, Battle.net, and more.   • Dell PowerEdge will support the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra platform, including the upcoming NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16, NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 and NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition, delivering systems with up to 288GB of HBM3e memory to handle complex AI models with speed and scalability.[vi] These forthcoming servers will offer peak AI cluster performance with 800 Gb/s throughput with NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNICs.
  • Dell PowerEdge XE7740 and XE7745 servers will be available with the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. These servers are currently available with up to eight NVIDIA H200 NVL GPUs, which includes a five-year subscription to NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including NVIDIA NIM and the NVIDIA Llama Nemotron models for reasoning, making them a powerful platform for Gen AI fine-tuning, inference, and agentic reasoning applications, as well as high performance computing (HPC) workloads. They will also support up to eight NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition PCIe GPUs which can more than double the AI performance and greater flexibility when integrating AI workloads into business processes.
  • The new Dell PowerEdge XE8712 server featuring the GB200 NVL4 platform powers the next generation of accelerated AI compute, supporting up to 144 NVIDIA B200 GPUs per Dell IR7000 rack. These liquid-cooled systems are tailored for AI model training and complex HPC simulations, offering a scalable solution that optimizes performance and enhanced computational efficiency, while helping reduce operational costs and saving data center space.

Apple Vision Pro and Steam Deck gets Expanded GeForce NOW Support

Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Steam Deck now have expanded GeForce NOW support.  Several games are also set to join the cloud, as data centres powered by GeForce RTX launch. 

Cloud Gaming is Set to be Huge in 2025

Cloud gaming isn’t anything new, but with that said, it’s a huge focus for tech giants, like Nvidia, Steam, and Apple as we move into 2025. The cloud aims to provide more accessible experiences, without compromising offerings. The iGaming market is a prime example of how this could be possible, with the right advancements. For example, when you play slots at Paddy Power, you will notice that they offer hundreds of games, with many different variants; everything from classic slots to niche-themed games like KingFisher and Big Stack Lumberjack. These games are playable from a desktop PC or mobile device, and as a result, offer great accessibility to the vast world of online casino entertainment.

To play games like this, you don’t need to download or install software, and you can access them through a website browser or app. GeForce NOW has the same aim but with a focus on bringing additional niches into the fold. Games, including FPS, RPGs, and strategy games tend to be much bigger and have more intensive operating requirements. This makes it hard for them to be integrated into the cloud and offered on a huge scale. 

With that said, Nvidia is looking to change this. By expanding the support for the GeForce NOW platform, it becomes possible to offer games across different devices, ensuring that there are no limitations to the games people can play, or where they can play them. GeForce NOW essentially turns any device into a fully-fledged GeForce RTX gaming PC, and with cloud integration, it’s certainly an exciting concept when you look at current market trends.

Steam Libraries and the New GeForce NOW Announcement

The announcement was made at the CES trade show. NVIDIA has also announced that they want to bring cloud gaming to popular handheld devices as well. By partnering with Meta, Apple, and ByteDance, they have been able to expand their selection to Apple Vision spatial computers, Pico Virtual and mixed-reality devices. Meta Quest 3 now has full support with no essential features missed out. This includes NVIDIA DLSS and ray tracing.

As well as announcing this, they have also said that they are going to be launching a GeForce RTX-powered data center. This is going to be located in India, expanding the reach of the company while helping the company to grow its extensive library. Right now, there are over 2100 games supported, with several new titles arriving at the end of the year. Of course, bringing games to devices like this has not been without its challenges. Intensive games tend to drain the battery on devices more, but by making progress in cloud technology, issues like this have been eliminated, while paving the way for new and exciting advancements that are set to change the world of gaming as we know it.
