Tech Review – SOUNDPEATS Q35 HD+ Neckband Headphones

The SOUNDPEATS Q35 HD+ Neckband Headphones are for those into sports however  anyone can wear the latest from the company and are powered by 10mm drivers which is decent for their size, these are not your typical earbuds but one that wrap around your neck but over time you do not notice they are there.

The build quality is quite good and the fit better than expected being in ears as the wing that is built in does a good job giving them a secure seal which also helps with sound isolation.

There is no app here this time which is unfortunate but maybe added later with some luck to give you the full suite of EQ setting those are custom to with those others might be used to having from the brand which we have tested many of recently.

There is a simple to use inline control with three raised buttons on board to get the tasks done, this is on the right side of the headset and does not feel uncomfortable when wearing there is also a charge post on the control unit so as mentioned all lept simple here.

The also come with Bluetooth 5.2 technology and support for aptX-HD decoding which gives you great sound on the go be it in the gym jogging or running even at home they sound great and calls have been no issue either being very clear both ends. they also use the QCC3040 chipset from Qualcomm

How do these sound though? These for me are on the brighter side due to having no app access however you can try third party EQ apps if you like the sound is loud crisp and clear with a slight tinny sound when maxed out on some songs tested from my usual test loop of tracks .

Highs lows and mids came out fine and on testing on all genres they overall do a great job being sports orientated earphones and when maxed out the noise cancelling is decent given there is no ANC profile here.

There are ample controls here with the ability to access your voice assistant skip and reverse tracks manage calls and control volume. I did find at times the skip and reverse tracks function a bit dodgy but over time will see how it goes but having big fingers could be part of the problem there.

Overall these do a decent job can be taken anywhere being IPX5 rated and have a solid battery life

Sony introduces the SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speaker #Sony #SRSNB10

Sony aims to make home working even easier with the introduction of a new wireless neckband speaker – the SRS-NB10. Designed to rest on your shoulders, the SRS-NB10 allows you to take conference calls, listen to music and walk around in total comfort all day.

Hear clearly

Whether you’re working from home or from the office, we’re often faced with distractions or background noise that we want to eliminate for virtual meetings. The SRS-NB10 has been perfectly designed for online conferences, making every meeting effortless and comfortable.

The SRS-NB10 features a full-range speaker unit that is angled upwards so sound is optimised for your ears alone. Passive radiators embedded at the back of the unit boosts the bass to ensure the sound is well-balanced. You’ll hear every word clearly with low volumes, even with others in the room, so you don’t need to worry about distracting colleagues, roommates or family.

The SRS-NB10 allows you to have clear audio quality for the calls that matter. Whatever’s going on around you, your voice will always be heard clearly thanks to Precise Voice Pickup Technology. Two high-quality directional (beam-forming) microphones, combined with advanced audio signal processing means that the SRS-NB10 minimises feedback and echo, whilst delivering crystal clear voice quality to the person, or people, on the call.

The wireless neckband speaker is light and comfortable with a secure fit around your neck that rests gently on the shoulders so you can keep wearing it, even when your work is done. From the first meeting to listening to music while making dinner, the SRS-NB10 is comfortable all day long.

The flexible band on the back helps you find the perfect fit.  Plus, the open-ear style allows you to listen to calls yet still be aware of what’s going on around you.

Powerful and practical

Even hard workers won’t have to worry about battery life. The SRS-NB10 is ready to handle a whole day of business calls, music playlists, TV shows and more. With up to 20 hours of battery life you’re ready to go and keep going no matter how many virtual meetings you need to join. If you do run low, a quick 10 minute charge gives you up to an hour of extra work or play. The SRS-NB10 is also compatible with USB Type-C ®.

Once the call is over, it’s back to your favourite playlist with no need to reconnect.

The IPX4 splash-proof design lets you enjoy your favourite shows and tunes, even while you’re doing daily chores like washing up.

The neckband speaker delivers clear, personal sound, even at low volumes. Connect to your TV smartphone or music player with Bluetooth® technology and enjoy your favourite movies, shows and playlists without bothering the neighbours, roommates or other family members.

Review – The Sharp Aquos Soundpartner Neckband speaker. #Sharp #Tech

There is several similar products like this around but this is the first for me to check out and it is something new and a new take on the use of tech which is good to see, We can get bluetooth speakers in any size shape or form today that do a good job but this is something different and over the time I have used this it has grown on me.

You will not be wearing this jogging in the park so lets get that out of the way as it will bounce on your shoulder and you might want to wear it in public but keep the volume low but it is not super loud but still something you will not be wearing in a crowded area like a bus or a train as others will have to put up with what you listen too..

What I do find it great for though is if you have an empty house or room connect what you like and stick it on full blast and be immersed in sound in a different way that we are custom to like surround sound in your home or cinema, this brings you that much closer, A personal setting like no other you really need to try it to understand what I mean. Controls are easy to use too with a volume rocker, a power on/off switch, play and pause button and voice assistant button it is simple and executes the ease of use quite well.

Given it has limitations in one area it has more in other and that is on connecting to other external devices like your TV games console or laptop and feel the sound surround you in a different way. When it comes to the sound it is good, clear and sharp and well balanced all round but not much bass noticed but the sound is decent and punchy and great direction with movies as an example if a plane or car was to fly by you get the same effect on the speaker as you would a good pair of earphones and its not all central and boring.

I did notice the sound is better from your smarpthone perhaps due to the distance but you cant complain either if you are to use for gaming and more as you feel part of the picture in a weird kind of way and you get over it rather quickly too and there is a notable difference between say two bluetooth speakers placed either side of you in the house, that said the speakers would be louder but these are right up at your ears more or less and suck you in and it is a new way to sit back and enjoy something on your own when you have the chance to do so, it is a niche product now but I can see this morph into other and bigger ideas going forward its just the case if you are willing to spend the money and give it a go.

First look at the Sharp Sound Partner neckband speaker. #Sharp #Tech

The Sharp Sound partner is a portable speaker you place around your neck and something we are starting to see more of now with several products on the market but much more expensive, This is a wearable that fits nicely around your neck and blasts out the audio and gives you a different experience than what we are use too with a typical bluetooth speaker or earbuds,This is a new idea and we most likely will see more of these products in the coming year but the audio experience is different on first testing and better than you might expect.

This can also pair to your TV via a bluetooth transmitter which is great and gives the speaker more usability rather than just being connected to your smartphone. Any questions hit us up while we check it out..
