OneOdio Studio Max 1 Wireless Over-Ear DJ Headphones Review

The OneOdio Studio Max 1 Wireless Over-Ear DJ Headphones are a pair of ove-ear cans that impress from a listening experience via a mobile in my tests as I have no DJ equipment they have been tested on both Android and iOS and with not having a companion app which is dissapointing they still deliver on audio and its all good.

The build quality is great here and not too heavy eiather with plus cups that cover the ears nicely and block out much of the external noise with not having ANC listed on the specs, having said that if you are at home and turn these up to the max you will hear NOTHING!!

These also fold up and you get a nice carry bag inside along with all the extra cables and a dongle and they have ultra low latency which is 20ms with wired connectivity via 3.5mm/6.35mm jacks for instruments like guitars and keyboards and so on which again I do not own.

The OneOdio Studio Max 1 are equipped with 50mm drivers featuring OFC copper-clad coils, these headphones deliver deep bass and crystal-clear highs, lows and mids are fine and all genres tested in my usual test run these did not dissapoint even down to to hearing more intricate details than you would not expect to which was a win for me and when the volume is turned up to the max you will be impressed and I can only imagine how they would sound in a DJ set up and so on. Calls also sounded great during my testing and clear both ends again maxed out volume which is how I prefer to use my earbuds and headphones.

There is some controls on the right cup being your power on/off volume up and down skip and reverse tracks and play and pause, there is also the option to change modes, there is 4 in total and access to your voice assistant and the keys work really well. you also have your headphone socket and USB-C charge port.

After testing these for some weeks now we can say they Sounpeats has delivered with their latest clip on earbuds which is the new trend and will be for some time as we now see more and more of these on the market like bone conduction headphones which these sound much better than.

They fit really well and will not fall out of the ears and are secure so for those who walk jog or train will have nothing to worry about in that department.

They have an N-Flex memory wire giving you that stable secure fir keeping them in your ears even under any phsyical stress.

They have 12mm drivers built in which is good for their size offering Hi-Res Audio and LDAC, there is no ANC however they isolate some of the outdoor world also giving you dual connection and gamers more, alongside all this you have EQs to play with and lots of them giving you control over the sound the way you want to hear it there is all the other controls present such as voice assistant skip and reverse tracks play and pause higher and lower volume and of course call management at a simple touch which you can see in the video review below.

Audio 

Equipped with 40mm titanium-coated drivers and certified for Hi-Res Audio, the ES850NB headphones deliver a surprisingly balanced and detailed sound profile and with the ConneX App you have control. The support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs ensures high-quality wireless audio transmission. The sound is great and expected from the brand no lag latency no tinny sound and super highs lows and mids noted with crisp clean audio and great bass and sounded much better than some recent more expensive headphones I have here for testing. The buttons are small however tactile and work well.

ANC

The ANC performance is a great feature on the ES850NB. With a rating of up to -45db, indoors you can not hear a thing and mostly the same outdoors. The headphones also include versatile ANC modes, including a wind reduction setting for outdoor use and a handy “Touch-to-Chat” function that instantly switches to ambient sound mode, allowing you to quickly hear your surroundings without removing the headphones.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The battery life of the Edifier ES850NB is excellent. Edifier claims up to 92 hours of playback with ANC off and 53 hours with ANC on. In real-world use, this translates to weeks of use on a single charge for most users. Battery life on a regular scale will vary per user and their settings as is always the case but overall you would get a week on average.

Conclusion

The Edifier ES850NB headphones are super and delivers premium features at a mid-range price. They offer a winning combination of excellent comfort, balanced sound quality, and powerful ANC. They certainly put it up to other leading brands but cost less including a travel case, low-latency game mode, and multipoint connectivity and a companion app make them a great choice. For anyone looking for a high-quality audio experience without breaking the bank, the ES850NB is a highly recommended and well-rounded option.

SoundPEATS Air5 Pro True Wireless Earbuds Review

The SoundPEATS Air5 Pro True Wireless Earbuds are their latest to hit the shelf and we have been testing these out the last while and it is of course now time to tell you how we got on and with SoundPEATS being a regular here we where impressed at what you get for the price.

The design is familiar here but keeping in line with their product line-up with nice bronze accents to finish them which looks well they have a small stem and look clean and do not stick out which is also nice and do not protrude from the ears much.

They are light fit securely with the right tips and block alot of outside noise out of the box before you even play around with the EQ in their app which we look at along with the settings in the video review below.

The controls work well and can be customised to your needs which is nice and all the features you expect present and both earbuds offer commands and it is then up to you as to what settings you apply.

We again see Hi-Res LDAC with Snapdragon sound here which is good to see at their pricepoint making way for a great audio experience overall with no issues to report, during my usual testing loop no tinny sound noted no lag latency with LE Audio, and aptX Lossless for seamless gaming and streaming which is a win for anyone. With 10mm composite drivers ,highs lows and mids all good and really good bass but the EQ app is where it is at where you can modify to your needs and turn the notch up even more. You also get AI Adaptive Noise Cancellation cuts noise by up to -55dB and the ANC is quite good. Not forgetting transparency mode and normal mode.

We have also multi-point connection which is now a standard these days and this also works well as my reader know I work with a laptop and phone all day and it is standard procedure to test this out and all good including calls. Battery life is good but will vary on the users settings as always the case but expect up to 37 hours without ANC and a ten minutes charge gives you two hours more use. There is also an IPX5 rating so can we worn outdoors for you commute..
