SoundPEATS Air5 Pro True Wireless Earbuds Review

The SoundPEATS Air5 Pro True Wireless Earbuds are their latest to hit the shelf and we have been testing these out the last while and it is of course now time to tell you how we got on and with SoundPEATS being a regular here we where impressed at what you get for the price.

The design is familiar here but keeping in line with their product line-up with nice bronze accents to finish them which looks well they have a small stem and look clean and do not stick out which is also nice and do not protrude from the ears much.

They are light fit securely with the right tips and block alot of outside noise out of the box before you even play around with the EQ in their app which we look at along with the settings in the video review below.

The controls work well and can be customised to your needs which is nice and all the features you expect present and both earbuds offer commands and it is then up to you as to what settings you apply.

We again see Hi-Res LDAC with Snapdragon sound here which is good to see at their pricepoint making way for a great audio experience overall with no issues to report, during my usual testing loop no tinny sound noted no lag latency with LE Audio, and aptX Lossless for seamless gaming and streaming which is a win for anyone. With 10mm composite drivers ,highs lows and mids all good and really good bass but the EQ app is where it is at where you can modify to your needs and turn the notch up even more. You also get AI Adaptive Noise Cancellation cuts noise by up to -55dB and the ANC is quite good. Not forgetting transparency mode and normal mode.

We have also multi-point connection which is now a standard these days and this also works well as my reader know I work with a laptop and phone all day and it is standard procedure to test this out and all good including calls. Battery life is good but will vary on the users settings as always the case but expect up to 37 hours without ANC and a ten minutes charge gives you two hours more use. There is also an IPX5 rating so can we worn outdoors for you commute..

Tronsmart Sounfii Q20S Hybrid Noise Cancellation Headphones review

The Tronsmart Sounfii Q20S Hybrid Noise Cancellation Headphones are their latest model on offer next up from the Q20 and come in two colours being Black or White.

Presentation is their standard we all know and love and is kept simple there is a charge cable in the box and 3.5mm cable for direct Hi-Res audio.

The headphones are light they do fold away for travel but no carry case in the box and have all the keys kept on one side which is handy.

The controls present are call controls voice assistant access skip and reverse tracks and volume control there is also a dedicated ANC button to allow you to toggle ANC modes.

The sound is loud and punchy with 40mm drivers on board with no lag latency noted no tinny sound when maxed out on volume and with the EQ settings on board you are in control and with the Tronsmart app there is a notable difference between the EQs unlike other apps out there for earbuds and headphones.

Highs lows and mids all good, good base a treble and with the EQ settings you can get the right sound for you which is great, the buttons are of course fixed here and cant be changed and no need to as they work fine and slightly raised allowing you to navigate blindly and get use to them fairly swiftly.

Overall for the money here these are a great sounding pair of cans at an affordable price with all you need with a massive 60 hour battery life, depending on your own personal settings.

The Tronsmart App

Edifier W260NC ANC Hi-Res audio earbuds review

The Edifier W260NC ANC Hi-Res audio earbuds have been in my ears some time now and it is time to tell you all about them with a super clean look and fit these have all the features expected and come with a cool finish on the case and earbuds.

As above the case is where we will start with that has a super finish to it and looks really well and above par in my opinion to the standard of cases we see today and it offers some grip too with the textured finish.

The earbuds are a standard affair and look familiar however these also have some of that textured finish that matches the case which is a nice touch they do look well and sit well in the ears and be sure to get the right tips for you for the optimum sound experience.

These are best used with Android devices and have all the features that you would expect from Edifier and that include Hi-Res audio and LDAC.

You have several noise cancelling controls which are High,Low Wind reduction and Ambient sound or just off making these perfect for indoors and outdoors and the ANC is good on these and so is the wind reduction on calls after testing it is Ireland we are not short of wind or bad weather.

The audio is great and of course expected from Edifier highs lows and mids all good no lag latency or tinny sound and several EQs to picks from such as Pop, Rockm Classical and Classic and even more if you choose to go the LDAC route you have different frequencies/ sampling rates and so on. On these earbuds you get a 10 mm woofer and a 6 mm tweeter in each earbud which pack a punch overall with good volume and clarity.

All your controls are present as expected and you can decide how they operate you can see more of that in the video below.

Overall again Edifier have delivered a feature packed pair of earbuds that look well and affordable and if you are in the market for something new you should put them on your list.

Tech Review – Edifier W830NB Open-Ear Headphones

The Edifier W830NB Open-Ear Headphones have been the latest cans my ears not long after several pairs from the Brand of late which is always music to my ears, recently reviewed here was the W820NB Plus and the WH700NB

So with the newcomer to their product portfolio I was looking forward to checking these guys out which also has access to their ConneX app..

The look is in line with their current portfolio keeping the design hues in order and the fit is great as always with comfortable cups and headband which can be worn for several hours even for gaming as there is a game mode present in the app like many headphones and earbuds come with these days which is good to see.

The controls are all on the right cup which is good and keeping it simple with all your features accessible along with the app to get the custom sound you require which everyone has their own taste there. Alongside the controls is the USB-C charge port and led light and mics.

The finish is robust and clean with a matt finish which has held up well with no marks to date despite the bright colour we have in for review which I preferred out of the colours available.

The controls are raised and work well getting the right command right each time rather than having missed one and they do not trigger accidental commands even when lying down.

Sound quality is as expected with the latest from Edifier here and with their app as seen below and the video review after that we have a great listening experience as one would expect.

Highs lows and mids all good no tinny sound when maxed out and no lag latency noted, with the Hi Res audio LDAC you can be sure to get superb sound with the 40mm drivers and with the app you can customise to your requirements making these an exceptional pair of headphones for the money.

With the ANC turned on you can sit back and enjoy hassle free listening time be it for gaming movies podcasts and more the ANC works really well here and notable in comparison to other brands. try this test at home for yourself and you will notice a clear step in the ANC quality

With multipoint connectivity you can switch between two devices smoothly and for me is an important feature to have making life easy, calls are great nice a clear and with superb battery life and fast charging these are an easy recommendation from me and not expensive and as I have said before the cost to performance ratio has come along way with earbuds and now headphones meaning you do not need to spend silly money for great features and this is what you get here.

Tech Review – QCY MeoBuds Pro earbuds

The QCY MeloBuds Pro are the latest earbuds on offer from the company and the recently reviewed headphones called the H3 have been a great start to their new line-up of products and an excellent pair of headphones.

With these earbuds coming in at around 50 euro there is little to complain about here and they have a really good app to go with them that put more expensive models to shame and that say quite a lot here.

The style and fit is like most earbuds here, they sit well in the ears and have a secure fit but be sure to check out the tips for the best seal which yields the best results as I always say.

One stand out feature is the ANC on the MeloBuds Pro at the price they come in for as they have a wide frequency range and offer up to 46db on ANC and 6 yes 6 transparency modes built in so there is options for all here.

There is also 6 mics the most we see these days is two or four but 6 now being the standard and again at the price it is unheard of the features present in these earbuds.

There is dual device connectivity on board so if like me and you use two devices all day this is perfect and seamless and can be controlled via the app which you can see more of below and in the video review where we take a tour of the said app which is great and loaded with features including a decent battery life at around 34 hrs at 75% volume and with a ten minute charge you can get up to 1hr playtime. This will vary per user and EQ/Volume settings as always.

The sound is also where it is at here with the QCY MeloBuds Pro and it is superb for the price and with their companion app there is not much left to say but these are worth every single penny you spend which is little and what is on offer from more well established brands.

Highs lows and mids all great super ANC and transparency modes with a notable difference on switching unlike some others out there, great treble and bass high volume and you can also customise to your requirements with spatial sound.

For the gamers yes they are also covered here with up to 80ms latency when game mode is activated and their advanced spatial audio algorithm enhances the soundstage, offering a 360° Stereo Sound experience. Equipped with a 12mm dynamic driver units if it is music movies or gaming you are center stage.

Check the full video review for more below.

Featuring 6 microphones and a wind noise-minimizing design, AI-based voice pickup technology ensures crystal-clear calls by cancelling ambient noise while enhancing vocals.

High-Resolution Sound

MeloBuds Pro supports LDAC high-resolution codec and is certified by Hi-Res Audio Wireless, supporting fast transmission of up to 990 kbps, and transmitting pure high-fidelity sound that spares no detail. Its advanced spatial audio algorithm enhances the soundstage, offering a 360° Stereo Sound experience. Edifier have become known for marrying premium production quality with flawless audio experiences and the D32 is no exception. Fitted with two 1″ silk dome tweeters and one 4″ long-throw mid-low driver, the speaker is capable of producing a frequency response of between 52Hz – 40kHz and has earned the prestigious Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications.

Elsewhere inside, the D32 includes dual Class-D audio amplifiers from Texas Instruments, capable of providing enhanced end-to-end high resolution audio processing. Importantly, this is done via a two-way active crossover, which separates the audio signal during processing to ensure it remains as pure as possible. Quintessential to this multi-use functionality, Edifier place particular importance on the visual language of their products. The D32 sports a unique mid-century modern feel; built using the most advanced production techniques and materials, it combines the sleek and minimal lines of the Bauhaus design movement with subtle nods to timeless 1970s radio design. Delivering in both form and function, the warm and sophisticated appearance has a tactile-yet-luxe character, complete with a textured, braided grille, satisfying accordion-style keyboard buttons and smart metallic detailing. Available in both white and black walnut colour ways, the aesthetic versatility of the D32 truly sets it apart – making this an unrivalled choice for the decor-conscious consumer who values a balance between elegant award-winning design and industry-leading audio technology.

Tech Review – Soundpeats Engine 4 earbuds

The Soundpeats Engine 4 earbuds are one of the latest on offer form the brand and come with a new look and design which is really nice, these style of earbuds are not the top of my list however I prefer stems but it is how they sound is what can make you overlook at times and these stood out with my locals asking about them when out testing over the last few weeks..

The App

The App as seen above has plenty of features yet again and gives you control on how your earbuds sound however the controls are fixed which is fine and simple to use, the earbuds can be used on their own too so either side can be used whilst the other one is left to charge which is quite handy. I would also advise to complete the adaptive EQ test for the best results and ensure you have got the right tips and are happy with the fit. The controls work really well on these too which is an additional bonus due to the large surface area at hand so for those with big fingers like me it is a bonus. One small downside is the controls are fixed however they are fine as is and pretty much as standard settings on earbuds today. These sound a bit on the brighter side than what I like however with their app they can be changed to suit your needs and their app once again is decent and allows you to take some control over the audio experience.

Overall a different shape of earbud to my liking but sounds good, the fit or style might not suit everyone but they deliver again on the sound aspect with decent battery life and the look of the earbuds and case stands out and will be ideal for first time buyers of earbuds from the company or just looking for something new to try out as this brand has been very consistent over the years for us they offer a wide range of earbuds for all pockets and all styles.

Key Features of the SOUNDPEATS Engine4 Wireless Earbuds include:
1. Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certificated, LDAC Codec for Android Users Available. Boasting 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 with a 10mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Engine4 is designed to provide deep bass, clear treble, and crisp mids. Enjoy powerful sound on the go wherever you are. With Engine4, you can take your music experience to the next level.

2. Enhanced Battery Life: These earbuds provide an impressive battery life of up to 12.5 hours on a single charge, and the compact charging case extends the total playtime to an astonishing 43 hours, ensuring uninterrupted audio enjoyment.

3. Seamless Connectivity: Engine4 features Bluetooth 5.3 technology, offering a stable and seamless connection between two different devices for an extended range of up to 100 feet, allowing users to move freely without any audio interruptions. ( Due to the Simultaneously Connection being turned off in the factory setting, you’re allowed to turn it on by using APP as your demand. )

4. Intuitive Touch Controls: The touch-sensitive controls on the earbuds enable easy management of music playback, volume adjustment, and call handling, providing a hassle-free user experience.

5. Ergonomic Design: The Engine4 earbuds are ergonomically designed to provide a secure and comfortable fit, ensuring a snug seal for improved noise isolation and long-lasting comfort, even during extended listening sessions.

6. APP Control: SOUNDPEATS App is build-in 8 kinds of sound effects for choice, you can achieve their enhanced bass or treble-oriented listening experience as you want.
