Final ZE500 for ASMR and easy listening review

The Final ZE500 for ASMR and easy listening earbuds are tiny earbuds that have some controls but not like your typical earbuds as they are designed for ASMR which means Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.

The ZE500 for ASMR is designed for immersive, close-up voice reproduction, making it ideal for ASMR, audiobooks, podcasts, and binaural content. The tuning minimizes harsh frequencies and creates a natural and intimate listening experience with rich spatial detail. The ZE500 has an ultra-light and pressure-free design. The integrated soft eartip gently seals the ear canal and prevents discomfort, even when lying down. Perfect for long listening sessions.

The earbuds themselves are small in size and ideal for listening to in bed which I do quite alot of and do not put pressure on the ears the controls can also be turned off.

Speaking of controls there is little on offer here which is play and pause and answer calls which is fine, the app as seen below explains what is on offer and you have a volume step optimizer.

The audio however is excellent crisp clear and clean and well balanced espcially with voice out of the box for gaming movies music podcasts etc they do a great job with great audio overall despite the lack of an EQ and other general settings you will find in earbuds.

Unlike mainstream earbuds that brag about Noise Cancelling or Multipoint, the ZE500 focuses on uninterrupted relaxation:

ASMR Mode: This is a game-changer. It disables touch controls and voice guidance. You won’t be jolted awake by a “BATTERY LOW” shout or accidentally pause your video by rolling over on your pillow.

Volume Step Optimization: Through the Final Connect app, you can fine-tune the volume increments. Standard phones often have “too quiet” or “too loud” jumps; the ZE500 allows for micro-adjustments to find that perfect “barely-there” level

Overall these are excellent earbuds that deliver on their target market and not expensive either with a premium look feel and finish and again their size is excellent for those who wear eabuds in bed.

EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final 2024: New start-ups enter the European innovation scene

The EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final event is an annual culmination of a pre-acceleration programme that supports European innovators and entrepreneurs in turning their ideas into market-ready start-ups. It focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and developing start-ups scene in Central-Eastern and Southern Europe.
This year the Grand Final will be part of the bigger EIT Community conference “The next decade of innovation for the future of Europe”, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS). This is a key initiative under Horizon Europe aimed at reducing regional disparities in innovation across Europe. The EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final will include a dynamic live pitching session, followed by an awards ceremony to celebrate the top start-ups in each category.
The conference is free of charge, upon registration only.

48 New Start-ups Poised to Enter the Innovation Scene

This year’s EIT Jumpstarter Grand Final will take place in Budapest on November 28th, showcasing 48 start-ups. The top six from each of the eight categories — Food, Health, Manufacturing, Raw Materials, Energy, Urban Mobility, New European Bauhaus, and Rebuild Ukraine — will be awarded up to €10,000. These categories align with the EIT Community’s mission to bring innovative solutions to global challenges. Additionally, in recognition of the EIT’s strong presence in the Western Balkans, the competition will feature a special prize for a high-potential start-up from the region. In total the best teams will receive almost €150,000.
“The pipeline of start-ups established in non-Western countries through programmes like EIT Jumpstarter is growing every year, and many ventures from previous editions have now reached multimillion valuations. This is particularly important for regions in Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe, where the start-ups create new jobs, bring new skills and stimulate entrepreneurship in the region,” says Marta Kaczmarek, leading the EIT Community Strategic Regional Innovations Cluster, coordinating such activities as the EIT Jumpstarter Programme.
“Considering that every euro invested in the programme generates 30 euros in external funding for newly built start-ups, EIT Jumpstarter truly serves as a springboard for talented founders,” adds Marta Kaczmarek.

EIT Jumpstarter in Numbers

Since 2017, the programme has trained 1,180 participants, leading to the establishment of 124 new start-ups and contributing to the creation of 2,100 new jobs in the countries, which are considered emerging and moderate innovators, according to the European Innovation Scoreboard. These start-ups collectively attracted €150 million in external investment up until now. EIT Jumpstarter is open to more than 22 countries and regions and is led by EIT Health in collaboration with EIT Food, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Manufacturing, EIT RawMaterials, EIT Urban Mobility.
Throughout the seven-month programme, participants identify and validate the best business model for their science-based innovative ideas. Participants learn how to refine their concept, conduct market segmentation, develop a strong customer value proposition, manage financials, understand investment and legal basics, and more. Graduates of the programme possess the skills and knowledge to launch their companies. As part of the alumni community, they receive further support, including various financial options, and dedicated advice from the EIT Communities regarding the next stage of their start-up journey.

Discover the Phenomenon: Final Fantasy XIV’s Surging Popularity Explained

The multiplayer product, released under the auspices of the famous company Square Enix, is rapidly gaining popularity in all directions. Why is the game so confidently gaining popularity? Over the past six months, Final Fantasy XIV has remained popular among fans of other cult projects with a multi-million user audience. Any attempt to try to play a sensational game from Square Enix immediately leads to genuine interest in the product, which cannot but please the creators. Therefore, in this article, we want to talk about why FFIV attracts new players so much.

Alongside the game’s increasing popularity, there has been a rise in demand for in-game services like boosting in Final Fantasy XIV. In these companies groups of highly skilled players actively support other players in finishing challenging missions and leveling up their characters. Additionally, they offer tutoring, which is a great place to start for gamers of all skill levels, including those who have never played this game.

Nice graphics and low system requirements

Final Fantasy XIV, while being not exactly the epitome of modern graphics, is still quite enjoyable, and the screenshot button regularly finds new masterpieces for the desktop. The game has a photo mode with a lot of settings and details. The elaboration of the characters, their animations, facial expressions, and gestures still evoke approval and surprise – how did the developers manage to achieve such a result with such small means? Armor, weapons, all sorts of small details, and visible decorations and accessories, together with an extremely convenient and thoughtful glamor system, allow FFXIV to look decent to this day. In addition, the game is well-optimized and not too demanding on hardware, which is an additional plus for an MMO. And anyone can download high-resolution textures for FFXIV.

Interesting dungeons, raids, trials

Currently, Final Fantasy XIV has more than eighty dungeons, seventy-plus trials (boss arenas), and more than thirty raids. Many of them will be available through story quests, but some will have to be unlocked separately. This is a fairly large layer of content, and often you simply physically cannot remember all the mechanics of a particular boss. Even if you play more or less a lot, you can end up in some dungeon only once a month, or even every six months. The local group search system works like clockwork. There is always a queue to even the lowest-level dungeon since the game has a scaling system. That is, if you are level eighty, in some 16-level Sastasha your level will be lowered to match the difficulty of the dungeon. As you complete low-level dungeons, you will receive rewards in the form of special tokens to exchange for equipment and weapons, close Chloe’s journal, and much more. In this way, the developers allow playing together for both beginners and characters who have already been leveled up for a long time. Many dungeons have bosses with interesting and unusual mechanics, but many players use this principle: almost any boss forces you to adapt and learn your combat pattern. Therefore, mastery comes with practice and wipes.

Fishing

Meditative and measured fishing has reached a new level in Final Fantasy XIV. At the moment there are more than a thousand different fish in the game, many of which can be placed in an aquarium. In addition to the fact that the fisherman here is a separate class with its history and skills, one can highlight the fact that fishing is not limited to the most common fishing from a hole. The game also features ocean fishing – a raid for 24 players – and underwater fishing with a harpoon. Fish are caught not only in water, but also in sand, lava, and air, and to catch rare collectible fish, you will have to be patient and be in the right place at a certain time and under certain weather conditions. And don’t forget about bait – there is a huge amount of it for every taste and color.

Craft

The closest thing to local crafting professions is a similar mechanic from EverQuest 2, but crafting items in FF14 is much more difficult. Each craft profession is a separate class, so you can become a jack of all trades and level up all eight professions. Many recipes require ingredients from other professions, and there is always something to sell at the auction, even if you haven’t reached the maximum level yet. In addition, professions allow you to create not only necessities, but also home accessories, outfits for your character, and other useful little things. A profession leveled up to level thirty also makes it possible to disassemble items of the type that you can craft and insert matter (the local analog of precious stones) into your equipment.

Final Fantasy XIV is one of the best MMOs out there today. This is an MMORPG that died at release and was revived by the people who love it. The same MMORPG whose storyline received a worthy ending. The same MMORPG that will be looked up to for a long time, and whose experience will be adopted by competitors. Just like the World of Warсraft in its heyday.

Final updates its flagship true wireless earphones with the new ZE8000 MK2

With the release of the ZE8000 flagship true wireless earphones earlier this year, Final developed an earphone like no other. Its unique design, immersive soundstage and clear focus on sound quality offered a new true wireless experience.
With the ZE8000 MK2, Final has made significant improvements for an all-new user experience. Including new ‘Shield Fin’ eartips for improved comfort and increased passive sound isolation, enhanced signal-to-noise ratio for greater detail retrieval and improved ‘8K Sound’, the ability to deactivate ANC and other noise control settings, and a maximum volume increase of 5dB.
In the ZE8000 MK2, Final has further developed the technology and software capabilities with their new flagship and it will be available to buy from the 8th December for £289/$399.99/€329.99 from Amazon and selected retailers worldwide.

Immersed like never before

Development of the ZE8000 MK2 has enabled the evolution of Final’s ‘8K Sound’ feature. Improving the signal-to-noise ratio through hardware and software interventions provides a clearer perception of ‘8K Sound’, extracting more detail and musical nuance from recordings.
“As a concise and concrete example to convey this evolution, we consider the ZE8000 MK2 as earphones that immerse you in the orchestra.” – Final.
The ZE8000 MK2 hardware and software improvements have provided fertile ground for a more efficient integration of ‘8K Sound’, ensuring a more faithful reproduction of recorded instruments and their unique timbre. This ability to faithfully and vividly reproduce the balance of recorded instruments extends to all music genres, elevating the listening experience by significantly increasing the amount of information in the sound.
Compared to the initial model, the ZE8000 MK2 achieves a 32% improvement in sound isolation with ANC active. This is achieved by a combination of internal structure enhancements, newly designed ‘Shield Fin’ earpieces, and a refinement of the algorithm for active noise cancellation.
Utilising an FIR filter for frequency and time domain corrections, combined with a unique integration of multiple digital signal processing techniques enables the achievement of high-definition and distortion-free ‘8K Sound’ In the ZE8000 MK2. Compared to the initial model, the digital signal processing has been refined, allowing for a clearer perception of ‘8K Sound’ even in finer details.

Improved comfort and fit = improved sound quality

With the ZE8000 MK2, Final has included newly designed ‘shield fin’ eartips. These tips come in a wide range of sizes and offer an increase in passive isolation as well as a more comfortable and secure fit. This increase in isolation benefits the sound quality due to a reduction in ambient noise and improved seal provided by the ‘shield fin’ technology and silicone material used.
The eartips come in five different sizes (SS/S/M/L/LL) to ensure the optimal fit and comfortable listen for all ear shapes and sizes.

New features and updated ‘Final Connect’ app

After listening to feedback from the first release, Final has included the ability to deactivate ANC and all other noise control settings. This provides users with an unfiltered experience of the Final ZE8000 MK2 and ‘8K Sound’
The maximum volume has also been improved upon with a 5dB increase, as well as an overall redesign of Final’s ‘Volume Step Optimization’ feature within the ‘Final Connect’ app for finer volume adjustments.

Final introduces VR2000 earphones for immersive gaming and 3D audio experience

Final, the Japanese high-end audio specialist, has announced their latest venture into the world of gaming and VR with the new VR2000 earphones.
For close to five decades, Final has long proven their mastery of all things hi-fi. Starting in 1974 with the development of high-end turntable cartridges, amplifies and CD transports, and more recently moving onto portable audio with their award-winning headphone and earphone models – final’s experience and insight is unmatched.
With the VR2000 Final has turned its attention to gamers, VR users and the captivating world of ASMR and immersive audio. Using newly designed ‘f-Core DU’ custom-made dynamic 6mm drivers developed in-house, final has been able to tune the VR2000 to extract every detail from your digital surroundings.
Whether playing a first-person shooter, exploring virtual worlds, relaxing to mediative ASMR or listening to a live jazz recording – the VR2000 will transport you into the heart of the action and deliver an experience like never before with no sound going unheard.
Hear distant footsteps and gunfire as though you were in battle yourself. Feel every reaction from a stadium full of thousands of spectators. Transport yourself to a 1970’s jazz club and hear every note played as though you were there.

A Wealth of Applications

Primarily designed for gaming and VR, the VR2000 can also be utilised to get the most out of live recordings, intricate electronic music, ASMR and the latest advancements in Dolby Atmos technology. Unlike typical earphones, the VR2000 has been designed to provide a spatial listening experience with a naturally vast soundstage and the ability to hear each and every sound individually separated with absolute clarity.
This attention to detail and separation lends itself most effectively to gamers – especially those involved within a competitive domain. The ability to react in-game is heavily reliant on the quality of the audio, and the speed at which users notice sound effects that have been produced for this very reason. The VR2000 is able to separate each sound and simultaneously deliver them accurately, and naturally, within its expansive soundstage.

‘f-Core DU’ Custom-Made Dynamic Driver

With the ‘f-Core DU’ driver, Final has managed to achieve a quality of sound that is unheard of in this price range. Completely redesigning driver parts such as diaphragms, voice coils, magnets, magnetic circuits, and adhesives, as well as production equipment. The material of the driver front housing is brass, which is less affected by magnetic force and has a higher specific gravity than general aluminium. In order to improve the time response performance of the diaphragm, the voice coil uses 30μ ultra-fine CCAW and is assembled with a minimum amount of adhesive to thoroughly reduce the weight of the moving parts.
Further developments in housing design have resulted in a uniquely attractive appearance and comfortable fit for the VR2000. Shells made from ABS plastic provides durability, and the OFC cable is covered in a tough and flexible coating with an in-line 3 button control with a high-quality built-in microphone – ideal for online gaming, streaming and taking calls.
The VR2000 comes supplied with a number of accessories including a selection of final Type E silicon eartips, earhooks for added support, and a carry pouch for safe storage.

Tech Review – FINAL ZE8000 true wireless earphones

The FINAL ZE8000 true wireless earphones are a different shaped pair of earphones that stand out with an unusual shape and I like this as it is something different and if you don’t try you will never know as design can only go so far but there stand out from the rest and many have asked questions as to what they are and who makes them.

Being shaped differently does not mean quality lacks elsewhere right? They fit the same as any other earbud but have a different outer frame so to speak and once fitted with the right tips they will not budge from your ears they give a great seal and blocks out much of the outside world. The texture of the earphones and looks are also nice with a matte finish and they look great some folk even said they look wet.

How they sound though with 8K thrown in there is important and they sound great really crisp and clear and a tad on the bright side but you have an EQ option in the app which could have offer some more however for me they did the job and for all your movies music and games you will not be disappointed by the sound quality, calls also great crisp and clear for me and on the other end. Highs lows and mids are fine and any genre tested in my usual test run, they feel centred more so and overall a great listening experience but your source of music is important here. No lag latency no distortion or tinny sound when maxed out either which is how I listen to my earbuds and decent enough ANC.

There are four listening modes available for the ZE8000, all of which have their own benefits and clear intended scenarios for the user:

  • Noise Cancelling Mode – Eliminates ambient noise and allows users to concentrate on the music.
  • Wind-Cut Mode – Significantly eliminates wind noise captured by the microphones when there is a lot of ambient air movement.
  • Ambient Sound Mode – Seamlessly blends music and ambient sound, allowing users to be aware of their surroundings while listening to music.
  • Voice Through Mode – Ambient sound is prioritized over music, allowing for clear conversations without removing the earphones from the ears.
Overall a quality pair of earbuds with a fresh new look over the industry standard these days and will gather attention when wearing out.
